Follow thou me (John 21:22). These three words from Jesus say it all. God wants you to know that it’s time to stop listening to things that are not of God. Don’t listen to people who are always talking about sickness and death, those who are oppressed, depressed and full of doubt or those who are always spewing out the devil’s garbage. Don’t listen to people who say they believe in God but really don’t, people who gossip, criticize and have nothing good to say. Don’t listen to people who have failed God and are down and out, those who don’t pray and fast.

Some people only have the devil’s chatter. You may not let the devil inside your soul; but if you listen to his chatter, you’re in trouble. Busybodies know all the bad things about people, but they don’t know any of the good; they don’t mark the perfect person or behold the upright. They may be members of your own church, but that doesn’t matter. They’re dangerous, and you should stay away from them. Thus saith the Lord, you don’t need to listen to those who don’t love the truth and serve the truth in love.

Are You Looking for Jesus to Come?

Don’t listen to people who aren’t looking for the Lord to come or those who don’t have vision of this great Jesus outreach. If people don’t have a burden for souls, they don’t have Calvary’s love, hope or peace; and you must have nothing less. If people don’t have the tears of Calvary, then pay them no mind; you don’t need the tears that they pretend to have. There’s no holy fragrance going up from them, and they aren’t receiving any holy anointings.

While God is pouring out His greatness, some people are just looking for something to criticize. They don’t realize that God’s divine anointings are more valuable than all the silver and gold in the world. Their minds are always on other things, and they’re in no shape to pull up a chair and dine at the Lord’s table. They’ll wake up one day, but it may be in the Tribulation Period.

It’s almost time for the Lord to come, and that’s what we should talk about. When people get the real Holy Ghost, they’ll begin at once looking for Jesus to come. In fact, that’s one thing that encourages them to hurry and get the Holy Ghost in the first place—they know that they must have the Holy Ghost to make the Rapture. Without the infilling of the Spirit, no one will be changed in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye.

Eve Listened to the Devil

If Eve had not listened to the chatter of the devil in Eden, she wouldn’t have fallen. The devil couldn’t get Adam to listen to him, but Eve listened; she kept returning to the tree of death. It was pleasant to the eyes, and the serpent told her that it was good and that it would make her wise. And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil (Genesis 3:2-5). The devil told Eve that the Lord was keeping her and Adam from something great and that he was there to introduce them to it and show them greater love than God did.

The serpent fascinated Eve with something that looked beautiful, but the beauty wasn’t real. That tree was actually more poisonous than a deadly serpent, but Eve didn’t discover that until it was too late. She had already become spiritually dead, and because of it she had great sorrows. Adam wouldn’t listen to the devil, but he listened to the devil’s chatter through Eve; then he accepted deceit and lost everything.

Tune the Devil Out

People today still listen to the devil. Some will say, “The devil told me that.” Well, they’re admitting that they listen to the devil. Nobody can tell you anything if you don’t listen to them. If someone on the telephone isn’t talking right, just take the phone away from your ear; and you won’t hear them. You can get rid of a person just that quickly. Or you can just say, “Goodbye, I have to go.” If they ask you where you have to go, just say, “I have to go to Heaven”; and leave them with that good message.

I’ve learned to tune people out no matter what’s going on around me, and you can do it, too. Whether you’re at home, at work or even at church, you can shut them out. If people at church begin to say things you don’t want to hear, you can go to your seat and pray or read your Bible. This will help you prepare for the service and be ready for the anointing of God to fall.

People are drawn to Grace Cathedral because the anointing of God falls in every service. Sinners, backsliders and those in need come expecting to hear from Heaven. They have seen the signs and wonders on television, and some of them travel thousands of miles to attend; and they seldom ever go away disappointed. Many people think Grace Cathedral is the greatest church they have ever attended, and they hate to have to go home.

Gossip Is Worthless

Just as the Holy Ghost uses people for good, the devil uses people for destruction. He loves to send you a big package of discouragement through someone and try to grind you down. He may send a person to tell you what somebody else said about you; but you should stop them in their tracks and say, “I don’t want to hear it.”

My wife, Angel, never wanted to hear anything that people said against her. She didn’t serve people; she served God. She knew in whom she believed, and she knew that the Lord would keep all that she had committed to Him. One woman with a big mouth apologized to Angel for talking about her. Now, most people would have asked, “What did you say?” But Angel said, “Honey, I forgave you when you said it; I forgave you before you said it, and I forgive you now.” She didn’t let the woman tell her what she had said because Angel didn’t care to know, and that’s a good way to be.

Angel knew gossip was worthless, and she could never understand what people got out of it. They may get a pat on the head from the devil, but their prayers won’t be answered like they should be. The devil wants to destroy every bit of God’s love that’s available to you—or at least keep you from using it. He wants to destroy your peace and happiness, and he designates special people whom he can use to do that.

There are people who just want to tattle and pass on everything bad they hear. I call them garbage collectors. City garbage collectors get rid of the trash they pick up, but the kind of people I’m talking about never get rid of the garbage. They stink in the nostrils of God, and He rejects them; so stop listening to them!

If someone wants to tell me something about Jesus, I’m ready to listen; but if it’s not about Him, I don’t care to hear it. Be bold when someone is invading your privacy with garbage, and God will smile on you for stopping them. You have enough devils to fight without allowing people to spew the devil’s puke in your ear.

You Must Be Sanctified

You have to separate. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you (II Corinthians 6:17). Jesus prayed, They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth (John 17:16,17). We are sanctified through the truth in the blood that Jesus brought to earth. Jesus continued to pray saying, Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us (John 17:20,21). This statement includes each one of us.

When I was young, we had to walk a good mile or so to church; and the saints of God would walk together in groups. They didn’t go along spewing out gossip; they would be praising the Lord. They’d talk about how God was blessing people, the coming of the Lord, souls getting saved and people receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Even as a sinner, I loved to hear them talk. I grew up in that holy atmosphere, and it influenced my life. I had confidence in those saints of God, and they were very special to me.

Think on Good Things

The Lord has given us His plan to take this Gospel to the world; and He’s telling us, “Don’t stop; move on!” You can’t stop to listen to those who have nothing good to report; we’re only supposed to listen to good reports. The Bible gives us six things to think on, and they’re all good. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8).

When you let people tell you bad things, you’re going to think on those things. Then it may take you days, weeks or even months to get their filth out of your mind because you weren’t bold enough to say, “Goodbye, I’m not listening!” Don’t worry about insulting them because it’s good when you insult the devil or his spirit. Do what you have to do, and then go on running your last mile home. If you say anything to them, just fill their ears full of what God is doing. Tell them about one miracle after another, and they’ll probably be the one to hang up on you or leave before you even have a chance to finish.

I know the truth about certain people, and I know almost exactly what they’re going to say before they even speak. They’re like an old broken record that keeps repeating the same word. I don’t want to hear the same things they’ve already said so many times before. They’re only carrying news of what the devil is doing.

It’s recorded in the Bible that Jesus met the devil head-on in the wilderness one time, and He did it for our sake. The devil came to tempt Him when He was at the end of a long fast, but Jesus told the devil three times what God had said; and then the devil had to leave Him for a season. He taught us a great lesson when He said, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). Jesus gave the devil the Word straight from the God of Heaven.

Noah Followed God’s Plan

Noah’s family was special—it included eight souls who didn’t listen to the devil’s chatter. I’m sure the devil sent many relatives and supposed friends to chatter in their ears, but they didn’t listen. They had been given God’s plan, and they weren’t going to stop their work. They only had the message of God, and they wouldn’t let anyone contaminate it or discourage them.

For 120 years, I’m sure Noah preached to the people whenever he had a chance warning, “You had better get ready to get out of here!” Noah and his family were witnesses before the people that judgment was coming, and they showed it with every move they made. They stayed awake and tuned out the doubt of others or they’d never have finished the ark…and Noah’s whole family would have been destroyed.

Today, entire families have been destroyed because one member started listening to the devil’s chatter in the form of gossip or lies. There are people in hell because those who were supposed to have loved them and cared for them were really just chatterboxes of the devil. Those souls will be tormented in hell forevermore.

Noah’s family had probably never even built a canoe before, but they did everything that God told them to do and built a big, three-story ark. They didn’t build it near any water, so I’m sure people told them that they were crazy. But Noah and his family paid them no mind. They closed their ears to the devil and opened up their hearts to the voice of God. They listened to what the Spirit said, and the ark did float.

The unbelievers probably lost their chatter of the devil just before they drowned. Suddenly, they wanted to get into the ark; and they pounded on the ark door screaming, “We believe; we believe! Open and let us in!” But God had closed the door, and it was too late.

Abraham Obeyed the Lord

Abraham was another one who didn’t listen to the devil’s chatter. He had waited twenty-five long years for God’s promise of a child to be fulfilled, and it happened. Then later, when Isaac was a good-sized lad, the Lord told Abraham to take Isaac and offer him as a burnt offering to God. And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him (Genesis 22:2,3).

Abraham obeyed God; and when he got to Mount Moriah, he climbed it step-by-step. He wasn’t looking down; he was looking up. He wasn’t listening to the devil; he was listening to his promise from God that a mighty nation would come from his son, Isaac. That promise made such a joyful noise in his soul that he couldn’t hear anything the devil said. By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure (Hebrews 11:17-19). Abraham knew in his heart that if he offered Isaac, God would raise him up because God had promised; and He could not lie.

In this story, Abraham is a type of God; and Isaac is a type of Jesus being offered on Mount Calvary. I’m sure the Lord looked on the scene with an eye of pity because He saw Himself in Abraham.

Use the Faith of Abraham

We all have to trust God just as Abraham did. Abraham is the father of the faithful, and we can have the same unbelievable faith that he had. Jesus said, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23). That’s the faith that was delivered to the saints, and we’re supposed to have it. Ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3).

If you’re feeling down and out, don’t advertise it; you’re supposed to show forth Jesus. He said He would make you a witness just as He told Abraham that He would make him a blessing. And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing (Genesis 12:2). Notice that God didn’t tell Sarah He would bless her and make her a blessing. Why?—Because God can’t bless some people enough to make them a blessing. He tries His best to at least keep them out of hell, but He can’t even do that unless they yield.

Lot Didn’t Stop

God’s message to Lot and his family was, “Go! Don’t stop to listen. Sodom and Gomorrah are going to be destroyed by fire. Leave and don’t look back.” If they had looked back, they would have become discouraged with the devil’s chatter; and they no longer would have been God’s holy seed.

Lot, his wife and his two daughters were on their way out; but there were two angels dragging Lot’s wife along. Her heart was back in the cities, and she had fallen in love with their ways. She hadn’t been listening to God, and she was headed for destruction. She looked back and turned into a pillar of salt because she had listened to the devil’s chatter. Lot and his two daughters didn’t stop, but his wife probably let out one last scream just before she lifted up her eyes in a devil’s hell to be tormented forevermore.

Devil Chatter Brings Oppression

Always remember Lot’s wife, and don’t listen to people who refuse to live holy because they won’t give you the right advice. They can cause you to let up on your prayer life, and you’ll slip into a lukewarm state. They may try to keep you out of church by saying, “If you loved me, you’d go here or there with me.” Or they may tell you that just a social drink won’t hurt you. If alcoholics had never taken the first drink, they wouldn’t have become alcoholics. If drug addicts had never tried drugs, they wouldn’t have become addicted. If you keep listening to the wrong people, they can cause you to backslide.

Listening to the devil is what causes so much despair, oppression and depression in the world today; but those things aren’t willed to children of God. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (I John 3:8). Jesus was full of the Holy Ghost, and He went about healing all those who were oppressed of the devil. God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Acts 10:38).

If you’re a child of God, you’re a holy vessel; and you’re not supposed to carry around anything of the devil. Jesus said, Follow thou me; and He never listened to anything the devil had to say. Even when the devils would cry out through people, “Why have you come to torment us before our time?”—He told them they had to go. He didn’t want to hear any of the chatter of the devil.

If you listen to the devil in some people, you’ll lose so much in the Lord and become weak. The devil’s chatter alone can make you sick. It’s not edifying, and it doesn’t bless you. The Holy Spirit speaks only edification to us, and we’re supposed to speak the same thing to one another. God’s love language has no taints of the devil—no disobedience, arrogance or ego.

Let the Holy Spirit Guide You

I listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying. The book of Revelation tells us to listen seven different times. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches (Revelation 2:7,11,17,29; 3:6,13,22). The Holy Spirit speaks only God-talk, and it’s filled with the promises of God. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to us, and His voice has everything we will ever need. Jesus said, It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you (John 16:7). It’s necessary for each one of us to have the baptism of the Spirit, to have Him on the inside of us to teach and guide us. But if you don’t yield to the Spirit, you’ll listen to the devil; and you’ll walk in the flesh. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his (Romans 8:9). If you listen to the chatter of the devil, you’ll become carnally minded, saith the Lord; and the Bible says, For to be carnally minded is death (Romans 8:6).

The devil will try to convince you to look at the hypocrites, but the Lord let us know that He hates hypocrites when He blasted the Pharisees and Sadducees again and again. He couldn’t stand them, and He told them they were hypocrites even when they were fasting.

Jesus told people to wash and clean up when they were fasting and not to appear unto men to fast. Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly (Matthew 6:16-18). The only one who counts when you’re fasting is God. You’re supposed to humble your soul in His presence and bow low in the greatness of God.

Ignore the Devil’s Chatter

Jesus gave His all when He was here on Earth. He traveled Calvary’s road, and it was a difficult one; but He walked it willingly. He listened to the voice of His Father, and He had the Holy Spirit and the angels to comfort Him. But the devil placed his chatterboxes at the foot of the Cross to ridicule Jesus saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said, He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him (Matthew 27:40-42). Those dirty hypocrites wouldn’t have believed even if Jesus had come down. They were in the process of murdering Him, and they weren’t about to believe.

Jesus didn’t have to prove anything to the devil or his chatterboxes, and you don’t have to prove anything to them either. Jesus stayed on the Cross or He’d never have been able to say, “Father, it is finished.” What a shout of victory there must have been in Heaven. We need to thank God trillions of times that Jesus didn’t listen to the devil, and we need to pattern ourselves after Him. In any situation, always ask yourself, “What would Jesus do; how would He rebuke those chatterboxes and hypocrites?”

The Devil Brings Doubt

Thomas, on the other hand, did listen to the chatter of the devil. He had followed Jesus but not as closely as he should have; and after Christ was resurrected, he wouldn’t believe. He said, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe (John 20:25). Later, Jesus did reveal Himself to Thomas, and only then did he believe. But Jesus scolded him saying, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed (John 20:29).

Many people claim to follow the Lord, but they follow afar off. Simon Peter had a tendency to walk that way; and at one point, he followed so far off that he rebuked Jesus. From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men (Matthew 16:21-23). Simon spoke the chatter of the devil, and the Lord rebuked him.

Be a Soul Winner

Later, Simon became lukewarm and even backslid; but the Lord said, I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth (Revelation 3:15,16). This is an hour of great victory, and you must be on fire for the Lord.

Jonah was not on fire; and even though he spent three days in the belly of a whale, it didn’t change him. His heart was not into saving souls. Today, many people go through the motions and play church; but they’re not really burdened for lost souls, and they won’t sacrifice and give like they should. They have a social religion but no power from On High. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away (II Timothy 3:1-5).

If you’re truly burdened for lost souls, you’ll sacrifice your finances and your time; and you’ll also hold them up before the Lord through prayer and fasting. Jesus gave of Himself, and He’s supposed to be our example. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps (I Peter 2:21). The Bible says, Be ye holy; for I am holy (I Peter 1:16). It also says, Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48). Even so, there are still people today who declare that no one can live holy; but they’re just chatterboxes of the devil. That’s why so many people today are in such awful conditions. Many of them don’t believe in the real Christ or the true and living God.

Gideon Listened to God

Those who do believe should ask themselves, “Where are the miracles?” Gideon asked that question when an angel was visiting him. And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour. And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of…And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee? And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house. And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man (Judges 6:12-16).

God had chosen Gideon to save Israel, and Gideon thought he was going to be the captain of a mighty army. But as he looked over that big army of 32,000 soldiers, the Lord said to him, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand (Judges 7:3).

It looked like everyone was leaving; and the devil piped up to say, “Gideon, what are you going to do?” But Gideon didn’t listen to him; he listened to God who said, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there…and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink. And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water. And the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place (Judges 7:4-7).

Most of the soldiers fell down with their faces to the water and forgot all about watching for the enemy. The devil could have killed every one of them while they weren’t looking, but 300 gathered the water in their hands and drank while they watched for the enemy.

In this last hour, the Lord said He would come for those who are watching. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching (Luke 12:37). We must see the end-time signs and cry for the lost to hurry and get ready. It’s purification time because Jesus is only coming after those who are pure, clean and holy. We must be wide-awake and be ready to be changed in the twinkling of an eye.

Are You Watching?

The disciples weren’t wide-awake in the Garden of Gethsemane; they were following afar off. Then saith he [Jesus] unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy. And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners (Matthew 26:38-45). It’s sad when the Lord tells someone to sleep on, but He’s already saying that to people now; and He’ll be saying it to many more in the near future.

The Lord is pouring out His anointings so freely now, but people won’t reach out for them. They’re not listening to what the Spirit is saying; they’re listening to the chatter of the devil. They have their minds on the things of the world and what the world has to say. They’re wrapped up in sports and worldly entertainment more than they are in Lord God Almighty. Some people call us alarmists, and that’s exactly what I am. I’m trying to warn everyone I can that danger is surrounding us, and the end is almost here.

Israel Wasn’t Ready

Freedom from bondage finally came for the Israelites when God brought them out of Egypt. But to do that, He had to perform many miracles—including sending the plagues, enabling the Israelites to cross the Red Sea on dry ground and the drowning of the most magnificent army of that day. After witnessing all of those miracles, you would think Israel would have been ready to follow God completely; but they were not. They were only ready to have their own way, and they wanted to return to Egypt to worship idol gods.

The Lord had given them plenty of gold and riches, but they wasted it all in making a golden calf while Moses was up on the mount receiving the Ten Commandments from the Lord. And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt (Exodus 32:3,4). The people had heard the voice of God, and they should have followed it; but they refused, so God killed thousands of them.

Still, God was compassionate toward them, and He rained down bread from Heaven. And in the morning the dew lay round about the host. And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground. And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat (Exodus 16:13-15).

Because the Israelites were God’s favored people, He had planned to drive seven nations out of Canaan and give them the land; but they didn’t appreciate God or His plans. Moses urged them to continue on, but they didn’t listen. With the exception of Caleb and Joshua, the Lord had to let all of those who were twenty years old or older when they came out of Egypt die without ever seeing the Promised Land.

God spared Caleb and Joshua because they were the only two of the twelve spies to give a good report. Ten of them said, “The God of Abraham has brought us to a land of giants to be killed.” But Caleb and Joshua said, “Not so!” And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes: And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land. If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not (Numbers 14:6-9).

Have No Fear

Moses, Caleb and Joshua urged the Israelites to keep moving on, and true servants of God today are also warning their people not to stop. But the Bible says, Men’s hearts [will be] failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken (Luke 21:26). People are so afraid of what’s going to happen in this last hour, but they’re not doing anything to prepare themselves to get out. The Bible plainly tells about the destiny of this earth, the stars and the moon. Everything will be destroyed, but those who had their passport to Heaven will be having a great time up there with the Lord.

We don’t have to be afraid, but many people allow the devil to take them over with fear. Fear does not come from God; and it opens the door for the devil to afflict God’s people spiritually, physically and financially. You don’t have to be afraid of any disease because the Lord is the healer of all of them. It’s true that certain diseases can run in families; but with God, they can stop with you. Then you can put all the fear associated with them under the blood. The Holy Ghost will use the blood to flush all fear out of your heart so you won’t be tormented with it. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment (I John 4:18).

The Bride of Christ must hear the voice of the Lord saying, “You’re greatly loved!” You don’t have to have any fear because the Lord has given you a song in the night. It doesn’t matter how dark the night gets; the Lord is pouring out His mighty power, and the rivers of His living water are flowing to cover the whole earth in this final hour. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh (Joel 2:28). He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38).

We Must Defeat the Devil

These divine rivers are drawing thousands of people to God in our crusade services. We sow and reap in moments of time as the people are saved and set free from the powers of the devil. The Lord delivers alcoholics, drug addicts and the devil possessed by the thousands. The demons are cast out and flee before the power of God like defeated armies. I stand on the platform and behold the glory of the Lord in action. I watch the devils go; and then in the name of Jesus, I call salvation and the baptism of the Holy Ghost down on the people.

Rapture ground is just in sight; and we’re rescuing the lost, plucking them as brands from the fire because this civilization will soon be over. We have our work cut out for us, and we can’t stop now. Jesus said we’d trample devils underfoot. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). He also said that we would pray for people in His name, and they would get well. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18).

Bible days are here, and this is God’s great hour! Don’t stop to listen to the devil. As long as we’re moving in God’s love and power, He will hear us and be with us. The Bible says, If God be for us, who can be against us (Romans 8:31)?

It doesn’t matter how many devils come against us; the devil and his entire kingdom will be destroyed by the power that’s in the blood that stained the Old Rugged Cross. The Bible tells us that just one angel and one chain of blood will put the devil in the bottomless pit for 1000 years. And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled (Revelation 20:1-3). The devil will be loosed for a period of time, but his final destination will be the lake of fire to burn for eternity.

See Jesus

The devil is headed for destruction, but the Bride is on her way to that city whose builder and maker is God. She won’t listen to the devil’s chatterboxes; she’ll hear the voice of the Lord saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him (Matthew 17:5). Listen to what Jesus has to say because He is life. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). Jesus is the light of the world, and His light penetrates all darkness; and His blood destroys all sin. I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life (John 8:12).

Jesus is our sin-bearer and our sickness-bearer. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus died for our sins, yet the chatterboxes of the devil will tell you that nobody can live free from sin. That thinking disputes the Word of God and calls God a liar; but the Bible says, Let God be true, but every man a liar (Romans 3:4). Jesus also said, Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Matthew 7:14).

Stephen and Paul Saw Jesus

Stephen saw Jesus; and after Paul witnessed that, he could never get away from it. Stephen didn’t listen to the devil and unbelievers. When he was being stoned, he listened to the voice of the Lord. But he [Stephen], being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul. And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep (Acts 7:55-60).

Stephen said just as Jesus did, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” Paul didn’t want to hear those words, and he tried to shut them out of his mind; but he couldn’t get away from them. I’m sure he heard them over and over again, and he probably woke up in a cold sweat more than once as Stephen’s words tormented him in his dreams.

One day, Paul heard another voice just like Stephen’s. He was on the road to Damascus when a bright light suddenly shined down from Heaven, and it sent him down to his knees. Then he heard, Saul [later called Paul], Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest (Acts 9:4,5). That voice changed a devil-possessed man who had put so many Christians to death into a holy, born-again child of God.

Paul was really changed, and he went on to receive the blessed Holy Ghost. And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized (Acts 9:17,18).

After he was baptized, Paul went into the wilderness for nearly three-and-a-half years to be taught by the Holy Ghost, so he could later go forth like Jesus in the power of the Spirit. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord (Luke 4:18,19).

Paul gave his whole life to God and His work; and before he was killed on Nero’s chop block, he boldly declared, For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing (II Timothy 4:6-8). Paul knew he had lived every minute for the Lord since he had met Him on the road to Damascus; he had belonged completely to God.

He encouraged Timothy, his son in the Lord, before he went to Heaven saying, Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ (II Timothy 2:3). “Don’t stop; go on! Don’t weep for me, and don’t stop to listen to the devil’s chatterboxes. I’m all right, and I’ve finished my work; but you still have to finish yours. I’m depending on you to carry on.”

Move On with the Lord

We too must carry on. Jesus has anointed us to preach the Gospel and to be His witnesses in this final hour. He has anointed us to carry the power of the blood that stained the Old Rugged Cross to the people. Just one drop of that blood can save every sinner on earth today; that’s how much power it has. The Lord said that if people would repent with godly sorrow—be as sorry for their sins as God is that they committed them—He would forgive. For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death (II Corinthians 7:10).

No matter what your sins might be, God can make you a new creation; but He won’t save you so you can stay in sin. The Bible says, The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:4). When God makes you new, all your sins will be gone; and you’ll be holy enough to walk down the Avenue of Glory hand-in-hand with Jesus.

Get rid of all your mind battles, and yield your mind to the voice of God. If you keep your mind stayed on Him and His promises, you’ll have perfect peace. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee (Isaiah 26:3). This divine peace is beyond understanding. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Hear the Gospel Cry

You who are walking afar off, you’re not listening to the Lord. You’re only listening to the voice of the devil, and you’re headed for eternal damnation. Sinner and Backslider, hurry and come home before dark because the night is closing in fast. Hear the voice of this humble servant and know that the Lord has sent this message to you. The light of Heaven is now shining on your path; so choose to leave witchcraft, voodooism, Satanism and all devil worship behind. Leave drugs, alcohol and all sin behind and say this prayer today:

Oh, God, save my soul. I’m so sorry that I sinned against you, but I’ve come home. I’ll never go away, and I’ll never stop and listen to the devil again. I’m going through with Jesus all the way, and I have Heaven in view. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Forgive me, Lord, and come into my heart. Come in, Jesus!

If you meant that prayer, now you can say, “Hallelujah! Jesus is mine!”

Receive a Miracle

Now that you have the Lord, you have the healing Jesus. I’m not your healer; I’m just a witness. Jesus is your healer. The gifts in my life are given by the Lord, and the Holy Ghost operates them for your miracles and deliverances.

Lord, I come. You have gifted me with the healing of AIDS, HIV and all kinds of death diseases. You pour your power through me, Jesus, so people can see the manifestations of your love. Heal! in the blood-name of Jesus. Heal! I curse all deadly diseases in your bodies. Heal! and get well in the all-powerful, blood-name.

If you had a deadly disease, go back to the doctor so he can confirm your miracle. If you had AIDS, get your case documented and send it to me as a great testimony. Thousands have been healed of HIV/AIDS, and it’s so simple when God does it. Medical science hasn’t found the cure for it, but I have found the cure in Jesus. He said all things are possible if we will only believe, and I do believe. What about you?

May God bless you and help you to believe right now for all the things you need.
