A bitterly cold week of wind and snow gave way to bright, winter sunshine as we boarded our God-given missionary airplane, Star Triple Seven, for Cape Town, South Africa. It was as if the light of God was already shining on our mission, and the Lord Himself confirmed it as He spoke through Rev. Angley just before takeoff: Thus saith the Lord, I am indeed sending you on a divine mission. You must be in one mind and one accord; nothing less will get the work done for me. You must be just like Jesus was when He was on Earth and do the work that He did. You would be totally amazed to know how many people are marked for you to win; but you must win them my way, saith the Lord. That short message gave us much to think about as we settled in for the long flight that would take us halfway around the world to souls who were waiting for us to arrive.

After nearly 20 hours in the air, the sun and warm breezes of South Africa welcomed us to Cape Town on Monday afternoon. We were tired but anxious to get moving, and the Spirit of the Lord was right there to quicken us. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13).

Our Work Began

Our first weekend of services was to be held in the township of Somerset West; so armed with thousands of pieces of literature, books, Bibles and handmade bracelets from our congregation members, our workers spread out into the township’s neighborhoods, market places, bus and train stations and taxi ranks first thing Tuesday morning. When it comes to winning souls, every minute is precious. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16).

God immediately began using our consecrated tour members to help the people; and when one of our young ladies prayed for the salvation of a woman bound by alcohol, that woman also received a miracle for her hip. And these signs shall follow them that believe…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18).

Two of our hard-working men started contacting schools, hospitals, orphanages and other institutions; and the Lord began opening doors right away. In just the first two days in Cape Town, our people were given the opportunity to visit seven nursery schools and three primary schools where many young souls and staff members alike asked the Lord into their hearts. God had prepared the honest-hearted for our visit, and souls were ripe for harvest.

Wednesday afternoon, our two associate pastors and the Cathedral Trio ministered at the Horizon Youth Development Centre, a juvenile prison housing nearly 200 violent boys. At first, the boys appeared indifferent and unapproachable; but once the trio performed several songs in the boys’ native language, the anointed music broke their stony hearts, and the young inmates were soon ready to hear the testimonies and the Gospel presented by both Rev. Machamer and Rev. Millar.

Somerset West Ministers’ Meeting

The Thursday morning ministers’ meeting arrived quickly, and we were greeted by a quiet group of pastors and laypeople who had assembled to receive the words of God’s holy prophet, Rev. Angley; and he taught them about what it takes to be a real Jesus soul winner. And he that winneth souls is wise (Proverbs 11:30).

“We must be witnesses for the Lord,” Rev. Angley declared. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me…unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8). “You have to let the Lord make you a witness, and it takes the real Holy Ghost for you to be a true Jesus witness.

“I see so many unhappy Christians,” Rev. Angley continued, “but they are not witnesses for the Lord. Jesus showed divine happiness when He was on Earth, and our happiness must come from God Almighty.”

Rev. Angley instructed the pastors that as Bible soul winners, they would have to use divine tact to make contact with the souls marked for them. The fruits of the Spirit would have to be produced in their lives, and they would have to be emptied of self and under the control of the Holy Spirit all the time.

They would have to live holy through prayer, fasting and living in the Word. This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29). “Preachers, you have to hide away with the Lord like Jesus did and seek the face of God to get His anointing,” Rev. Angley told them. “It will break all the yokes so you can draw people with the miracles of God.”

Rev. Angley pointed out that a soul winner can have no ego. “That is false pride, and it comes from the devil,” he said. “Ego has ruined many preachers who could have been good soul winners. There was no ego about Jesus; and He said, ‘Follow thou me.’ He is all the grace, salvation, joy, peace, righteousness and faith we need.

“I have a burden for lost souls,” Rev. Angley declared, “and that is why I am here. Souls are perishing because people don’t have the vision to win the lost at any cost. I want you to yield to God so He can make you a greater witness than ever before in these crusade services.”

Rev. Angley gave each of the ministers a copy of one of his latest books, Healing from Heaven. “This book tells you what you need to do to be healed and to stay healed,” Rev. Angley explained, “and thousands have been healed from reading this book because it carries God’s holy anointing. Reach for this book when sickness tries to take you over, and sleep with it until you are well. This book is all about raising up witnesses for God.

“I am going to call down the power of God on you, and you will receive an anointing that you have never had before.” Then the Lord spoke to all of the ministers through Rev. Angley saying, “I am the Lord who loveth and careth for thee; I am the Lord who healeth thee. I am your God, and I am your love. You are getting an anointing from Heaven that is coming straight from the grace of God, saith the Lord.”

After the meeting, our tour members hurried back out to the streets of the township to take advantage of the late afternoon and evening rush hour. The work of true soul winners is never done.

The First Crusade Weekend

Friday brought another busy morning filled with visits to a high school, a secondary school and three primary schools, each one having between 1000 and 2000 students. Our work in the markets and neighborhoods continued as well because souls who would not be able to attend our services were still waiting to be won.

God has marked souls for each of us to win; and that morning, one of our guys came across a man who drank, smoked and cursed just as our worker had done before he had been delivered. His testimony of how God had changed his life touched the man so deeply that he asked the Lord into his heart with tears pouring down his face. Then he voluntarily fished the cigarettes out of his shirt pocket, threw them on the ground and stomped on them. Just a simple prayer from a sincere heart immediately cleansed the man from all sin and took away his craving for cigarettes…and this was just one of many soul-saving stories.

When we arrived at the crusade ground Friday evening, it was overrun with hundreds of out-of-control children. They had hindered the work of our setup crew throughout the week, and the devil was planning to use them to disrupt God’s service that night. Our men and the local security guards were doing all they could to keep the unruly children from causing chaos; and soon after the service had begun, the Lord, through Rev. Angley, began revealing the deadly consequences of mocking and dishonoring God. “God told me that He must have order here,” Rev. Angley sternly said, “and if you side with the devil, you will be in trouble. I am God’s prophet, and He tells me what to do. Hundreds of my people have sacrificed their finances and prayed and fasted so we could come here, and they want to hear a good report.”

Then the Lord gave a very sobering warning to one 14-year-old AIDS victim: “You are mocking God and trying to make it seem like a funny thing that you have AIDS. You declare that you don’t believe in God; but you will be dead in 60 days, saith the Lord, if you don’t change during this crusade. You think you’re smart, but you’re devil-smart; and you have such a short time to live. I pray that you will hear what the Lord is saying tonight and give your heart to God. It is your only chance.”

Shortly after that, the Lord intervened; and our security men were able to drive the young troublemakers out. Once they were gone, the whole service changed. The Lord was able to begin moving for the people, and He revealed AIDS miracles that were taking place in the audience. To one person whose aunt was dying with AIDS, Rev. Angley said, “You must make time tomorrow to get her saved or she will die.” God gave life to another AIDS victim who had already lost his only brother to the disease, but He also gave the person a stern warning: “God is a God of business, and you must serve Him.”

Rev. Angley explained to the people, “Through the Spirit of God, I can see AIDS inside and outside the body; and it is the most ferocious disease my eyes have ever beheld. It is no wonder that man has not found the cure for AIDS; but when the doctors say there is nothing they can do, that is when the Lord takes over.”

Rev. Angley then launched into his message, The Power of Divine Faith. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).

“Jesus didn’t bring human faith but divine faith; and there is no defeat in God’s faith!” Rev. Angley proclaimed. “Only the faith of God brings miracles and destroys the powers of the devil.” The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17). “Divine faith is within your reach,” Rev. Angley declared, “and the Lord wants you to use it. There is power in God’s faith, and Jesus is ready to heal you tonight.”

At the close of the message, Rev. Angley declared, “There are angels in the aisles; and miracles and healings are taking place, saith the Lord.” Then the Lord revealed over 500 miracles that were taking place in the audience which included 110 for arthritis, 130 for those bound with extreme fear and 90 for those who had trouble sleeping. God is mindful of everything about us.

During the healing line, a young lady who had not been able to hear for four years received an instant miracle. She had never imagined that she would ever hear again, and she was overwhelmed with tears of gratefulness. Rev. Angley then said to the audience, “Can you see why people have to honor God? Aren’t you glad you were here to see this beautiful miracle? This is what people miss who don’t believe in God.”

The service ended on a high note in the invalid section when, after prayer, a young man began walking without his crutches and a young girl received her hearing.

Saturday in Somerset West

Saturday morning, some of our workers returned to the neighborhoods to take advantage of people being home from work while others visited with the children at two orphanages and a center for the disabled. There is no limit to what God’s love can do for those who are emotionally scarred or in physical bondage, and rivers of living water flowed to them that morning.

When we arrived for the Saturday evening service, the ocean winds were fierce; and the platform swayed with the strong, consistent gusts; but nothing stops the work of God. Most of the children who had hindered the first service had not returned, so Rev. Angley was able to focus the people on God right away as he instructed them to “raise your hands and tell the Lord you will accept anything He offers you tonight.”

Before one of the Cathedral Trio’s opening songs, the Lord revealed that 102 miracles would take place and that 16 of them would be for AIDS. “The angels are already gathering for this great feast,” Rev. Angley declared, “and some of you will be touched by an angel tonight. Reach up and pull down the power of God, and let Him move for you.”

Children of God are to seek help not only for themselves but also for others; and Rev. Angley said, “The Lord wants to use each one of us to bring in the lost at any cost in this final hour. Tell the Lord to help you love lost humanity just like He loved them when He went to Calvary. We must use His divine blood to do His work so that people throughout the world will be given a chance to accept or reject Jesus.”

When Rev. Angley began his sermon that night, the wind was so strong that he had to sit down to preach; but preach he did, and he taught the people to get off the boat and walk the waters just like Simon did in Matthew 14. “Jesus wants to walk the waters with you, too,” Rev. Angley declared. “You just have to obey Him, put self down and lift up Jesus.”

Later during the healing line, Rev. Angley ministered to the deaf and to those without the senses of taste or smell. The results of those miracles are immediately apparent to the people watching, and they help to boost their faith so they too can receive all they need. “There is nothing great about me,” Rev. Angley declared, “only the God I serve.”

Another mighty miracle in the invalid section ended the service when a young man who had come to the service unable to bend one of his knees was doing deep knee bends with a big smile on his face. God tells us to only believe, and that man did indeed believe with all of his heart.

Sunday Was Dedicated to the Holy Ghost

Sunday morning, a good portion of our tour members preached and testified in the local churches while others visited an orphanage for young boys and ministered to the people in the township neighborhoods. The bus driver responsible for taking a group to the orphanage had trouble finding his way and stopped to ask a policeman for directions, and it turned out that he was an honest heart just waiting for God’s touch. The man totally embraced the Gospel message offered to him, and then he joyfully led our people to where they needed to go. God is always in control of His children, even when things don’t appear to be going right.

Sunday evening was our last service in Somerset West, and the Lord was putting everything He could on the table for the people; but it was up to them to partake. “I want you to yield everything to the Lord tonight,” Rev. Angley began, “and decide that you want nothing but the whole will of God. When I leave here, I want you to be able to receive from the Lord like never before.”

For the next hour, the Lord ministered to the people through the songs of the Cathedral Trio; and then Rev. Angley presented a powerful message, The Tongue of Fire. From the very beginning, he made it clear that the people would have to have more than just salvation to be taken out with Jesus on Rapture Day and to do the work God needs done in this final hour. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).

“You can go to Heaven if you have a born-again experience,” Rev. Angley said, “but it will take more power to go in the Rapture than to go by way of the grave. The disciples failed many times before Pentecost because they had stopped at receiving a born-again experience. Even when Jesus was here, He received the Holy Ghost before He began His ministry; and after He had been crucified, resurrected and ascended to Heaven, He came back to Earth for 40 days to teach the disciples that they had to receive the Holy Ghost.

“Many people have been deceived about the Holy Ghost, and they believe they can speak in tongues whenever they want to; but that grieves the Holy Spirit, and you can blaspheme against God by speaking in tongues at will. The Bible says, And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4).

“In the Upper Room, the disciples continually praised God until there came a rushing mighty wind,” Rev. Angley explained. “That wind of the Spirit still blows today, but the Holy Ghost only comes into a heart that is as pure as God Himself. Then as you praise the Lord, that praise will fade out; and the Holy Ghost will take over and speak in a fluent language. Most of you don’t have the real Holy Ghost, saith the Lord; but you can receive Him tonight.”

When Rev. Angley called down the Spirit, he declared, “I see the glory of God upon you. This power will set your churches on fire.” The Lord did not specifically number those who had received the true baptism of the Spirit that night, but He did let Rev. Angley know that many were praying through.

Following all the miracles that took place on the stage during the healing line, the Lord told Rev. Angley that 91 people in the audience were being healed of AIDS; and He revealed some of those individuals. An innocent woman had been infected with AIDS by her wayward husband who had since died. For the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). But the Lord gave her a lifesaving miracle. Another man had contracted AIDS after having an affair with a girl at his church. She had died with the disease; but God is merciful, and Rev. Angley declared to the man, “You are now healed; but if you ever go away from God again, you will die.”

A shocking revelation left the audience stunned as the Lord uncovered a young man with AIDS who was engaged to be married, but his fiancee did not know he had the disease. “You are planning a big wedding,” Rev. Angley said, “but if you don’t tell her the truth by tomorrow at midnight, you will die with AIDS, saith the Lord.” Rev. Angley had the entire audience join the young man in the sinners’ prayer; and then he warned, “Your salvation is conditional. If you ever backslide, you will die with AIDS.”

God’s great mercy healed a person with a terrible and embarrassing disease on their hands; but again, the person’s deliverance was conditional. “You lied and caused a man to leave his wife and his church,” Rev. Angley revealed, “and you have lived with that lie for more than six years. If you don’t go tomorrow and make it right, your hands will probably get to the place where you won’t even be able to use them.”

The service closed with one last beautiful miracle for an elderly, blind woman in the invalid section who received her sight. Her family members could hardly believe it as they watched one of our young ladies raise her fingers before the woman’s eyes, and the woman would respond by raising the same number of fingers. What a miraculous way to end our first crusade weekend!

Week Two in Delft

Filled with God’s anointing power from the weekend services, we quickly turned our focus to Delft, one of Cape Town’s largest townships. Reaching the people in these areas through traditional advertising is very difficult, so our dedicated tour members carry the bulk of this great responsibility. Therefore, some of our people departed very early Monday morning for a large primary school to share the Gospel and the news of the upcoming crusade services in that township. Two other small groups ministered to the children and staffs at a home for those with special needs and at a small clinic, and the remainder of our people were out on the streets and in the neighborhoods of Delft…and their work continued into the evening.

Tuesday brought special opportunities for some of our people to visit two different homes for abused women and children. An emotionally broken and devastated 16-year-old girl had just arrived at one of those homes, and God’s timing was perfect. One of our ladies who had been through a similar experience was able to use God’s great love to lead her to the Lord and to give her a new purpose in life which would bring her true joy and happiness.

That afternoon, Cape Town’s largest public hospital gave our people access to the children’s and cancer wards; and our workers were able to pray for the salvation and healing of those who would not be able to attend the crusade services. The testimony of one of Rev. Angley’s congregation members who had received a marvelous miracle for breast cancer gave three women hope and faith that they had never had before; and they all humbly gave their hearts to the Lord, knowing that He was the one who would also make them whole.

Many of the hospital staff members were also very interested in receiving the true Word; and after one nurse had been given a copy of Rev. Angley’s Healing from Heaven book, she immediately started reading it and could not put it down. She was seen several times walking around the hallways trying to perform her duties with her open book in hand.

Delft Ministers’ Meeting

The devil never ceases to try to hinder God’s work; and due to a fire, the location of the Wednesday morning ministers’ meeting had to be changed at the last minute. However, God knows no defeat, and the pastors were not deterred. They filled the seats on the main floor of the new facility as well as those in one of the balconies.

When Rev. Angley opened the service, he wasted no time in getting to his message, Holiness or Hell. “God has called us to holiness,” Rev. Angley began, “and holiness is perfection. The Bible says, Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said, Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48). Perfect means without blemish, and the Lord is coming for a perfect Bride. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27). You have to clean up to get ready to go up!” Rev. Angley declared.

The ministers soaked in every word as Rev. Angley continued to teach them how to be perfect in divine love, divine faith, divine understanding and in doing the whole will of God. He wanted them to go on unto perfection (Hebrews 6:1) and to live in the divine perfection of Jesus.

“Being in one mind and one accord is the secret to having a mighty crusade,” Rev. Angley said. “If you preachers will cooperate, we will have one mighty pouring out of the Spirit; and the Lord will really bless your churches. I want you to present your hands in perfection to the Lord to be used during this crusade. Lord, I present these people to you. Help everyone to decide that they are going on into your perfection and that they will put both of their hands in yours to be used just as you used your Son’s hands when He was on Earth. Help them to pay the price.

Then Rev. Angley said, “It is time to receive a mighty miracle anointing for this crusade; there are many souls who need to come to the Lord. Thus saith the Lord, I have sent my prophet to you, and my greatness will be with you. Reach out for my greatness and help my servant serve it; and I will reward you, saith the Lord.”

As the meeting ended, the pastors were further blessed by receiving copies of several of Rev. Angley’s books along with other ministry literature that would help them in their work. Then Rev. Angley returned to the hotel where he spent well over an hour praying for 102 of the hotel workers. Over half of them received salvation, including the hotel manager; and many of them received Bibles, which sadly, they did not have.

God Was Drawing People

Wednesday afternoon, a group of our workers went to a boys’ orphanage where, earlier in the week, one of our ladies had met a very honest-hearted 14-year-old named Sean. He told her he felt the call of God on his life; and he asked her to take a note to Rev. Angley which said in part, I believe God speaks to me, especially when I read the Bible. Please, Pastor, can you pray for me to let God trigger my desire to work for Him to change lives? When Sean’s message was delivered to Rev. Angley, he autographed one of his books for the boy; and when our people arrived that Wednesday, Sean was elated to receive such a precious gift from the heart of a man who gives his life for souls.

Our people then conducted a service for all of the boys; and during that visit, a very angry young teenager who had been avoiding our people from the time they had arrived was completely transformed when he received God’s love and asked Jesus into his heart.

Thursday morning’s schedule included two preschools and two very busy out-patient clinics where our people were able to minister to over 1000 patients. Many of the souls who were touched were also able to attend the crusade services; and when we arrived at the service grounds Thursday evening, several of our workers were excited to see some of those they had prayed with earlier in the day. God was indeed using our workers to draw people to Him.

That same day, one of our young ladies met a security guard at the front gate of an AIDS clinic to whom she testified of her deliverance from sin and alcohol. Another young man who happened to be listening followed her and the security guard to the clinic office for prayer. Once in the office, they met four other young men who decided that they wanted to receive Jesus as well. God’s love anointing is contagious, and it had caused a chance encounter to blossom into a small prayer meeting that reaped not only one but six souls for the Lord.

Opening Service in Delft

When Rev. Angley went on stage promptly at seven Thursday evening, it was clear that the people had come prepared to receive. Within minutes, the Lord was already revealing miracles taking place in the audience. God revealed a person who was pulling hard for a loved one at home with AIDS; but Rev. Angley soberly said, “The tragic part is that your loved one wants to live but does not want to serve God, and it won’t work that way. Jesus healed sinners when He was here; but He told them, Go, and sin no more (John 8:11).”

To a person in the invalid section, Rev. Angley said, “You are a backslider with a deadly disease; and you will die within six months, saith the Lord, without a miracle. There is something in your life you don’t want to give up, but you will have to or you will die.” God was making it very clear that the people would have to live for Him if they wanted to receive what He had for them. God heals for His honor and glory, not for the glory of man.

As Rev. Angley marched across the platform proclaiming the name of Jesus, the people joined in; and immediately, 81 people received a miracle for arthritis. “Faith is mounting high!” he exclaimed. “As I minister on stage, you can pull on God with your faith; and He will direct me straight toward you. God has a great banquet prepared for us tonight, and the angels are here to serve us!”

Rev. Angley’s message, I See Four, took the people to the story of the Hebrew boys. “The boys were slaves and outcasts,” he began, “but they had God’s divine favor, love, power, goodness and mercy; and they held on to God no matter what.”

Rev. Angley explained that because the boys would not bow to the king’s idol god, the king threw them into the fiery furnace; but then the king saw a most unusual and miraculous sight and said, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God (Daniel 3:24,25). Rev. Angley desperately wanted the people to see that fourth man in their furnaces of life.

“If you see just three,” he continued, “you will doubt. Only those who see four can have the miracles of God. I see four; and the blind get their sight, the deaf hear, the cripples walk, and people are healed of AIDS and all kinds of deadly diseases.” The more Rev. Angley preached, the more the people got caught up in the truth and faith of the Fourth Man. Then the Lord spoke saying, “I am the Lord thy God, and there is nothing too hard for me. If you will see four tonight, the faith will come to you to see miracles, saith the Lord.”

Faith continued to rise higher and higher during the healing line, and people were being healed in the audience as miracles took place on stage. The Lord filled two holes in a person’s eardrum, and He made another person in the last stages of cancer completely whole. A man who was in constant pain from falling off a ladder had been so excited over seeing the miracles that he didn’t even notice that his own pain was gone until the Lord had pointed it out to him.

Miracles continued to pour out for those with nervous conditions, migraine headaches, ruptures and injuries; and then Rev. Angley cried, “If you have seen miracles tonight, be a witness and tell others about it; and I will see you here again tomorrow night!”

Many in the invalid section saw four that night; and a lady who had struggled into the service with a cane trotted out without any trouble. A middle-aged man with crooked feet and who could hardly walk when he arrived left the service beaming and with barely a limp. A third healing was for a blind man who began seeing light, and he returned the next night to say that his sight was getting even better and that his leg trouble was going away, too. Our God is a good God!

Friday morning was filled with God’s favor. A small group of our workers gave divine hope and love to the residents at a large nursing home, but the majority of our people left just after the sun had come up and by 1pm had visited seven different schools and touched well over 8000 young souls. The day’s hard work paid off Friday night when some of our tour members heard miracle stories from students who had brought their families to the service.

One outstanding story was that of a man who had tried to murder his family on three different occasions. He had come to the service because his daughter had carried a crusade flyer home from school; and that night, he was given the rare opportunity to meet Rev. Angley. The man of God revealed that if the man had not come to the service, he definitely would have murdered his family and killed himself; but the man was completely delivered from devil possession and gloriously saved. He returned the next night with his whole family; and his wife, who could hardly believe what had happened to her husband, also gave her heart to the Lord.

The God of Elijah Was in Control

As soon as Rev. Angley went on the stage Friday night, he began focusing the minds of the people on divinity as he proclaimed, “Every miracle and every deliverance comes through the blood!” Then the Lord immediately began moving in the audience. A 47-year-old man dying with AIDS had almost decided not to come that night. “But it is good you came,” Rev. Angley said, “because you would have died within seven days, saith the Lord. You have a ferocious temper, and you will have to get self under control and live for the Lord if you want to be healed.”

The Lord revealed two family members with cancer, one of whom also had AIDS; but neither one was saved. Rev. Angley said, “God has really been dealing with both of you. If you will come to Jesus right now, both of you will go home well, saith the Lord.”

God continued dealing very directly with people about how they must live for God to keep what they receive; and Rev. Angley said, “The secret to receiving is following Jesus all the way.” Then he revealed, “The Lord is dealing with 27 more people who have different diseases and are unsaved. He wants me to tell you that if you will really give your hearts to God, you will be healed.” Rev. Angley led the entire congregation in the sinners’ prayer, and then he announced that the two cancer victims had both been saved and healed.

“The angels are moving in like people,” Rev. Angley proclaimed. “Don’t you feel the difference? I’m so conscious of angels, and they come into my services and hold back the powers of darkness as the Lord does His perfect work. An angel touched a person with AIDS a while ago, and you are healed. You are also blind in one eye, and the Lord is healing that, too.” A person who had a deaf ear had also been touched; and Rev. Angley said, “Haven’t you noticed that the volume has been turned up? The Lord has healed you.”

As the Cathedral Trio sang a faith-filled song about miracles that Rev. Angley and one of our songwriters had written, 250 more people received healing. Immediately afterward, Rev. Angley proclaimed, “The fire of the Holy Ghost took over the heavens, and there was solid fire over you. When that happens, all kinds of miracles take place. Get ready to be made whole. God is making witnesses tonight!

“It is time to yield yourself to the Lord so He can use you,” Rev. Angley continued. “I want each of you to renew your covenant with the Lord tonight and receive more power, more grace, more faith, more love and more tender care. We need the reality of the power of the Holy Ghost so the Gospel can go forth to the whole world and be confirmed with signs, wonders, miracles and healings.”

Rev. Angley’s sermon that night, Where Is the Lord God of Elijah?, directed the people to II Kings where Elisha received Elijah’s mantle that had fallen from him after he had been taken up into Heaven. He [Elisha] took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan; And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over (II Kings 2:13,14).

“What are you doing with Elijah’s God today?” Rev. Angley asked the people. “Do you believe He loves you? Do you believe He has healing for you tonight? God sent me thousands of miles to help you find Him and to help you get your miracles, and I am not going to fail Him. I am going to hold you up before God; and if you don’t get what you need, it will be because of you, not me. Where is the God of Elijah?” Rev. Angley asked. “He is here, and He is proving Himself tonight!”

God continued moving in miraculous ways for those in the healing line, and the service ended with another great miracle in the invalid section as a young man who could not speak shocked those who were with him when he began to talk.

The Great Anointing Night

Saturday morning, our tour members gathered their remaining books and literature and headed out for one last chance to touch the people’s lives with the Gospel and to invite them to the final two services of this crusade. During that outing, one group of our people had the rare opportunity of running into a nine-year-old girl who had received her hearing and speech at the service the night before. Her family had not been with her that night, but they were with her this day; and our people confirmed the girl’s miracle before them as she repeated every word said to her with no trouble. God’s miracles are real, and they change lives.

Another pair of our ladies ran across a man who had apparently suffered a stroke that had left one side of his face paralyzed. His mouth was drawn to one side, and his eye on that side was also affected. After prayer with a blest cloth, his face began to come to normal right before their eyes.

As soon as Rev. Angley went on the platform Saturday night, he announced, “This is the night of the great anointing, and it is worth more than all of the silver and gold in the world. If you will do what God tells His prophet tonight, you will never be the same.”

Rev. Angley immediately began preparing the people to receive as he instructed them, “Lift up your hands if you have any yokes. God’s grace is sufficient to break every yoke you have. And the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing (Isaiah 10:27). Lord, I am your prophet, and I have your power to deliver this people from all yokes. You have sent me with liberty for them. We are going to lift up Jesus tonight through the anointing of God!” he proclaimed.

The more the Cathedral Trio sang that night, the more miracles took place in the audience. God numbered over 600 miracles before Rev. Angley had even begun to preach; and they included 107 for weak nervous systems, 167 for eye afflictions, 69 for bad hearts and 55 for arthritis.

“We have come into one mind and one accord in the unity of the Spirit,” Rev. Angley declared. “Angels will touch some of you in the audience tonight, and you will receive miracles you never thought you could have.”

Rev. Angley’s sermon, The Anointing Breaks the Yokes, took the people to the story of the miracle supply of oil in II Kings 4. A widow woman’s sons were about to go into bondage because she couldn’t pay her debts, so the Lord gave Elisha a plan for them. Elisha told the mother to collect as many empty pots as she could from her family, friends and neighbors; and although she had only a very small amount of oil left, he told her to begin filling the pots. She and her sons poured and poured until they had filled every pot with oil, and they still had oil to spare. God had supplied their need, and they went forth to sell the oil.

“Would you have had the faith to have taken part in that plan of God?” Rev. Angley asked the audience. “If we will humble ourselves and do something little, God will do something big. Remember that in the name of Jesus, Peter told a crippled man simply to rise up and walk (Acts 3:6); and when the man obeyed, he leaping up stood, and walked (Acts 3:8). I say to you tonight, ‘Rise up and be healed!’ Then praise God as He breaks your bondages.”

At the close of the message, Rev. Angley announced, “Hundreds of angels are standing around us, and there is a glory cloud over you tonight. Reach up into that miracle cloud and take what you need. You can have life in Him.”

The Lord became very personal as He moved for individuals in the audience. An unsaved 28-year-old who would have died with AIDS within three weeks and a backslider with cancer who had only three months to live both gave their hearts to God and were healed. A 20-year-old girl dying with AIDS had not thought she could make it to the service, but her family had encouraged her to come; and the Lord greatly rewarded her sacrifice when Rev. Angley cried, “You accepted the anointing of God when it was falling, and the Lord has given you life!”

To a man who had mocked the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues, Rev. Angley gravely said, “The Lord took you to the Word of God today and let you know that if you didn’t come to this service tonight, He would never deal with you again.” Rev. Angley had the entire audience join the man in saying the sinners’ prayer; and he told them, “As you help pull down Heaven on others, many of you will receive the miracles you need.”

By that time, the people’s faith was running high; and mass miracles took place on an even greater scale than before. There were 371 for high blood pressure, 97 for liver disease, 314 for severe bowel trouble, 19 for AIDS and 21 for heart trouble; and the Lord continued moving until He had performed well over 3000 miracles in just a short period of time.

The service ended with a mighty pouring out of the power of God as Rev. Angley called down the great anointing on the people. “A lot of lives are about to be changed,” he declared. “The heavens are lit up, and you can just reach up into the cloud of the heavenly fire of the Holy Ghost.” One life that was definitely changed was that of an 18-year-old girl in the invalid section who began to see and walk for the first time in her life.

The Final Pouring Out

Sunday morning was dedicated to ministering in the local churches, and the pastors in Delft really wanted our people to visit their congregations. In fact, nearly 70 churches had requested speakers; and even though many of our men agreed to go alone and some teams visited more than one church, we could not cover them all. Nevertheless, our people gave testimony of God’s greatness in nearly 50 churches; and all of the pastors who had requested a visit received special literature libraries and gifts for their people. When the morning services were over, all of our people returned with glowing reports of their wonderful experiences.

Our last service of the crusade arrived, and Rev. Angley began by assuring the people that even after we were gone, “Those who are holy can call Jesus any time. He is always on the line, and He is always on time; and He is on time for your miracle tonight. He already paid for it at the whipping post, so just reach out and take it.”

The Lord proved He was on time when He healed 10 people of AIDS during the Cathedral Trio’s opening song. God revealed that a 14-year-old boy’s brother had brought AIDS into the home and infected him. “Your brother is a backslider,” Rev. Angley said, “and unless he comes to God, he will die. But you are innocent, and you are healed!”

To a 31-year-old AIDS victim, Rev. Angley said, “Thus saith the Lord, you will be dead in less than 30 days unless you get your miracle tonight. The devil is doing his best to get you out of here, and the person who came with you is urging you to leave; but you must not because you are getting a miracle.

“God is so exact in what He says,” Rev. Angley continued. “He lets me know definite things about you so you will know that you are the one He is talking about and that He is working on you to make you a witness in this final hour.” Miracles continued to take place for individuals with cancer, ulcers, arthritis, malignant tumors, multiple broken bones, diabetes and incurable rashes.

The Lord then spoke through Rev. Angley saying, “Thus saith the Lord, trust in me with all thine heart and lean not to your own understanding. Know that I keep my promises and that I am delivering this people. I have sent my prophet to you, and he tells you the things I want you to know. Accept them; caress them to your hearts and receive the extra faith you need. Only believe.”

After that beautiful message of faith and hope, Rev. Angley announced, “Angels are now lining up to hold back the powers of darkness while miracles take place in mighty numbers. An angel just touched a man back there. You have been praying for your wife to be healed, but you also have an incurable disease. You and your wife are now healed, and the Lord has let you know that the ministry of angels is in operation here tonight. You couldn’t believe that before; but suddenly, you have become a believer. You can never doubt angels ministering to people again, saith the Lord, because man does not have the cure for your affliction.

Immediately after a recording of a beautiful song of dedication and surrender by Angel’s Grace Cathedral Choir, Rev. Angley revealed, “Angels are flying over the audience, and Jesus has appeared in the midst of them. Many people think of angels as having wings, but the ones who minister in these services don’t. They fly over with outstretched arms so full of glory that they look like they have wings, but they fly without wings. Thus saith the Lord, they are going to be flying over you tonight, and they will bring down a mighty cloud of glory. If you will yield to God and His will tonight, your life will never be the same.”

The Lord had drawn many young people to that service, and God was dealing with them about their lives. “God is going to use young people in a mighty way in this last hour,” Rev. Angley said, “and He wants you to know that He will stand by you and supply your needs. Put both of your hands in His tonight, and He will show you the way and make plain paths for your feet.” A short while later, Rev. Angley announced that God had specifically called 49 young people to preach His Gospel.

That night’s sermon was about the resurrection of Lazarus with this scripture text: Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God (John 11:40)? People definitely saw the glory of the Lord when Lazarus was resurrected; and Rev. Angley told the audience, “If you believe, you will see the glory tonight. God wants His children to be well, and you can have your miracle. Thus saith the Lord, I am here to deliver you and to set you free. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Then mass miracles began to take place by the thousands: 1000 hearts were re-created; 51 AIDS victims received life, and 1200 people had the muscles and nerves in their legs and arms re-created. Other miracles included 1314 for skin conditions, 1423 for bowel trouble, 1649 for nightmares, 1906 for fear and 2154 for battles of the mind. When the session ended, the Lord had graciously handed out over 14,000 miracles; and just minutes later in the invalid section, He changed the life of a humble man who began hearing for the first time.

This great crusade ended as Rev. Angley called down the power of the Holy Ghost, and people throughout the audience received the real baptism of the Spirit. God knew they would need that power for service to carry on when we were gone and to meet the Lord in the air on Rapture Day.

God’s Work Was Well-Done

When we boarded Star Triple Seven for our return trip home, Rev. Angley let us know that God was pleased with our work. “We had greater success in this crusade than we had ever had before, saith the Lord. Things happened that have not yet been told, and we will never be able to tell it all. The God of miracles lives, and we thank Him for it all. There are great things ahead; but we will have to be consecrated, dedicated and in one mind and one accord.”

It is hard to imagine that anything could be greater than this trip, but we know that even more amazing and miraculous things are to come because God has told us so…and we believe to see!
