Jesus said, Ye must be born again (John 3:7).

Do water baptism and church membership mean a born-again experience has taken place? No, neither church membership, shaking the preacher’s hand, nor water baptism can bring salvation. Only the blood of Jesus cleanses the soul of man from sin. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace (Ephesians 1:7). The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin (I John 1:7).

Ye Must Be Born Again

Jesus said, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God…That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit (John 3:3,6). When you are born of the Spirit, you love everybody; hate and grudges against others are removed; you lose sight of the pleasures of sin because ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Where…Christ is all, and in all (Colossians 3:9-11).

When you are born of the Spirit, you KNOW you are in Christ. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Corinthians 5:17).

If You Will Receive Him

As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:12,13).

Receive Him, Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever (I Peter 1:23).

Man cannot save you, and you cannot save yourself. Salvation comes only through Jesus Christ the Son of God. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8,9). Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Confess Now

The Lord loves you. If you will confess your sins to Jesus, realizing that you are lost and no one but Jesus can help you, He will graciously and lovingly forgive you, making you a new creature in Him. Just as He has saved the multitudes since He died on Calvary almost 2,000 years ago, He will save you. The song is true which says, “All the way to Calvary He went for you, and then He set you free.”

You who are unsaved, wait no longer to give your heart to God. Pray the sinners’ prayer with me: Oh, God! I have sinned against you. I am so sorry! I have come home, and I’m going to serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come in! If you meant that prayer, He has come. Praise Him, He is yours!

Come to the services here at Ernest Angley’s Grace Cathedral, and we will help you rejoice in the salvation of the Lord.
