John the Baptist said,He [Jesus] must increase, but I must decrease (John 3:30); and you and I must say the same thing. In Jesus’ time, John the Baptist was known for preaching the Gospel truth and baptizing in water. And he [John] came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins (Luke 3:3). John never compromised with anyone. In the end, it cost him his head; but he knew he had given everything.

John was the one who baptized Jesus, and he recognized Him for who He was. When Jesus came to him, John said, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me (Matthew 3:14)? You must recognize that Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of Jehovah God, too, and allow Him to increase within you.

John knew the value of Jesus; and he said, He that cometh from above is above all (John 3:31). John knew that Jesus was the Pearl of Great Price, the Redeemer of mankind and the Treasure in earthen vessels that Paul told the Corinthians about. We have this treasure [Jesus] in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us (II Corinthians 4:7). John knew that He [Jesus] is Lord of all (Acts 10:36).

There are some very valuable pearls on this Earth, but never has there been one as valuable as Jesus. The Bible says, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it (Matthew 13:45,46). You have to sell everything—soul, mind and body—to have that Pearl, and John paid the whole price.

John knew the necessity of allowing Jesus to increase within him. He let Jesus shine through him and gave place to Him in all things. You also have to know the value of Jesus before He will be able to increase in your life, but so many people allow self to get in the way.

John knew that he had to put self down and keep him down, and he knew that he was nothing within himself. That is why he said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven (John 3:27). You must put self down and lift Jesus up.

That Pearl carries all the love of Heaven, and nobody has ever loved you like Jesus loves you. That Pearl carries all the faith and glory of Heaven, and it makes Heaven seem so close. Loved ones who have gone on ahead of us are having a great time, but they are not just sitting around idle; they are working for the Lord. Work here on Earth can be really hard; but in Heaven, it will be a pleasure.

The Harvest Is Ripe

To have Jesus increase within you, you must be able to say as Paul did, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me (Galatians 2:20). God said He would walk inside of us. As God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people (II Corinthians 6:16).

Jesus must be magnified in our lives like never before because we have to take His Gospel to the world. John was the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight (Mark 1:3); and we must cry the same thing to the world today.

John the Baptist was a single voice declaring the Gospel in purity and truth and telling of its power to make people into new creations; but today, we are many voices. The Lord needs to add every voice He can get to that number, and He needs them to be full of truth and without one discord.

Jesus is the Lord of the harvest of lost souls. He knows what needs to be done and how to direct us to accomplish it. The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest (Luke 10:2).

The Lord is calling us to bring in the harvest before it goes to waste, so we must reach out and move faster than ever before. Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest (John 4:35).

Winning souls makes the Lord so happy, and all of Heaven shouts over every soul whose name is written in the Book of Life. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth (Luke 15:10).

Jesus was a soul winner, and all of the works He did when He was on Earth were magnificent; but the Bible said our works would be greater. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works [meaning greater in number] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (John 14:12).

Let the Truth Shine

When the Lord increases within you, you will let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (Matthew 5:16). Jesus is our light, and you must want all the glory to be given to Him in all things. He has been so disappointed in and mistreated by people, but we who are His true children know that He is worthy of all the glory and praise we can possibly give Him.

You cannot fail God in this last hour or take any of His glory for yourself. You have to stay true to Him and be rooted and grounded in His love all the time. You will be tempted and persecuted; but when you allow Him to increase within you, you will be able to endure anything that comes your way because God promised not to allow you to be tempted above what you can take. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it (I Corinthians 10:13).

There will be times when the trials get so hard that you will think you can’t take any more; but if you look around and see no way of escape, just settle down and say, “Lord, I can take some more.” Then He will give you strength to rise up and move on as you depend on Him.

Jesus said, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). The truth brings you to Christ, and then it sets you free and keeps you free. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). The whole Christ is available to you if you desire Him. He put Himself within reach, so all you have to do is reach out and take of Him.

If you want to know the truth, take time to get a good dose of the Word. Jesus was the Word come down from Heaven. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14).

You must eat the Word and live in the Word. Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts (Jeremiah 15:16).

The Word will give you clear vision to see things as God sees them. The truth in the Word will never die. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away (Luke 21:33). The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand forever (Isaiah 40:8).

The Word has been tried, so you can always depend on it. The word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him (II Samuel 22:31). The Word will stand every test, and you can be as strong as the Word of God when you trust the Lord with all of your heart and want nothing but His way.

People Must See Jesus in You

It is impossible for Jesus to increase in your life if you are not willing to deny self and decrease. And he [Jesus] said to them all [the disciples], If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me (Luke 9:23). You can only follow Jesus by taking up your cross daily. Without doing that, you will lag behind Him; and then you will dry up like a dead leaf and blow away from the truth.

When you take up your cross, you will have the nine fruits of the Spirit that Jesus brought; and as you dine on them and serve them daily, people will see Jesus in you. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentle-ness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance (Galatians 5:22,23).

Many people may never open a Bible, so you are the only Bible they will ever see. That is why we all must be living, walking epistles of Christ. Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart (II Corinthians 3:2,3).

It is your business to glorify the Lord in what-ever you do or say. Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God (I Corinthians 10:31). If you follow the Lord’s instructions, He will increase in your life; and God will be glorified through you.

I don’t let persecutions steal my joy and make me depressed; I let them drive me deeper and deeper in God. His children are to be the happiest people on Earth, and we must introduce others to Jesus in all truth and happiness. Even when we are going through sorrows, people must be amazed to see the glory of God in us. Then they will know we are different.

Death may have taken someone you loved so dearly; but if they died in the Lord, you have the truth that tells you they are not dead but more alive than ever. They are in Heaven with a new body; and if you live holy, you can see them again one day. That is the promise of God.

Seek to Be What God Wants

When you read about different characters in the Bible who pleased God, do you see them as deity or as people like yourself? Elijah was just a common man, but the anointing of God in his life and the fact that he was called of God to be a prophet are what made the difference. With that anointing, Elijah struck the waters of the Jordan River; and they separated. And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground (II Kings 2:8).

Today, people who follow God’s calling and use the power He has given them are different from the world, too. The teachings and the workings of the Holy Spirit make the difference, but you cannot be different unless you let Jesus increase in your life and shine forth in all of His holiness and greatness. Then you will be amazed at how the things of this life you thought were so important aren’t so important after all. Spending time with Jesus in prayer, fasting and studying His Word will mean more to you than time spent doing other things; and serving the Lord won’t be a burden.

Some people think that they can give up the world a little at a time, but that will only hinder you and even cut you off from God. When I got saved, I immediately went from pleasing self and others to pleasing God 100 percent. I had thought I wouldn’t have any life if I accepted Jesus; but after I was saved, I became a new creature and realized for the first time what true life really was. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Corinthians 5:17).

I changed completely, not a little at a time but all at once. I no longer cared for the things I had once loved, and I gave them all up. I had Jesus for mine, and He was all I needed. I couldn’t wait to get home and shut myself away with the Lord and let Him increase within me. The more you let Jesus increase in you, the more satisfied you will be with Him.

Let the Word Change You

The Lord is seeking to teach you the whole truth and what it will do for you. That is why He said, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (II Timothy 2:15). Study the promises of God in the Word. Thus saith the Lord, there is a promise for everything you will ever need; and there are piles of promises still unused.

The Word will give you strength when you accept it in living reality just as if God were speaking to you at that moment. He wants to be a real, personal God and heavenly Father to you. He does not want you to imagine He is with you; He wants you to know He is with you.

God wants you and me to know His ways, and He is now giving messages that are uncovering all the wonderful sayings in the Bible; and those truths will endure forever. The word of the Lord endureth forever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you (I Peter 1:25).

You have to seek God with your whole heart. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13). When you do that, you will be changed into the same image of the heavenly Father; and you will glow for Jesus. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass [a mirror] the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord (II Corinthians 3:18).

The Word of God is like a mirror. When you look in a mirror, you see a reflection of what you really look like; and when you look at yourself through the Word, it reveals what you look like to God. If there are things that would not fit in Heaven, you have to let the Word change you into the image of God. And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him (Colossians 3:10). That new man will be different, and people will see the difference. You don’t have to preach to people. Just live a holy life before them, and souls will be won.

Don’t Fear the Devil

The blood Word is so powerful that when you speak it with divine faith, all devils have to go. The Bible says you can trample them underfoot. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).

Jesus gave us the divine blood, and the Lord explained to me that we can use it to spray the devil just like we spray insects with bug killer. The blood burns the devil and his demons just like fire burns our skin, and they can’t stand it. The devils may continue to move in and try to make you think they don’t have to go, but they can’t do anything to you when you use the blood; so don’t turn and run. Instead, spray them with the divine blood. It is so simple that even a child can do it.

Satan hates it when you trust in God because he will never have the privilege of doing that again since he was cast out of Heaven. At times in your life when your trust in God is being tried, Satan will try to get you to follow your feelings by promising you a better way. He seeks to make the grass look much greener if you go his way, but there is one big catch—you will have to trust him.

Trusting in the devil will lead you down the path of destruction because there is nothing about the devil to trust in. He is just a liar. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it (John 8:44). God hates lying, and He will cast all liars into the lake of fire. All liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone (Revelation 21:8).

Some people think they would like to have the gift of discerning and know things about others; but if they knew all about it, they wouldn’t want it. With that gift, I have shed many tears over people that I would not have had to shed because I can look into their souls and see the horrible-looking devils that bind them. Souls like that look like a dead tree stump that has been eaten up with worms.

Let God Enlarge Your Heart

Jesus must increase in your mind and thoughts, and you must decrease in your own thoughts and opinions. It is dangerous to be full of your own opinions because you can become like the Israelites in the wilderness who walked after their own thoughts. God spoke of them saying, I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebel-lious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts (Isaiah 65:2).

Your thoughts should always be on Jesus. Then He will stretch out His hands to serve you goodness, mercy, love and faith. He will help you to have patience and take you into deep thinking, and He will give you the thoughts you need to magnify the Gospel to people.

Jesus must increase and grow in your heart, too, so it can be enlarged toward souls. Paul said, O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged. Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged (II Corinthians 6:11,13). Paul had that enlarged heart; and with it, he carried so much of God to many people.

Jesus said, But all their works they do for to be seen of men [to make an outward show of the flesh]: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments (Matthew 23:5). The scribes and Pharisees liked to enlarge the borders of their garments to show their importance, but they would not let Christ enlarge their hearts so they could beat in rhythm with His.

When your heart has been enlarged, it will accept the Word of God. That Word is food for your soul; and without it, your soul will dry up just like your physical body will eventually die without the food it needs. Jesus said, Come and dine (John 21:12). The table of the Lord is spread with everything you need, and God feeds us spiritual food that satisfies.

You have to hunger and thirst for the things of God if you want to be filled. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6). If you don’t eat like you should, you will lose your appetite; and it is the same way with the Word of God. If you don’t hunger for it, you won’t study it, digest it or reap the blessings of it.

When you thirst for more of God, all you have to do is drink from the fountain that never runs dry. Jesus said, Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlast-ing life (John 4:14).

Seek Holy Boldness

The apostles hungered for more faith and for holy boldness. And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith (Luke 17:5). And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word (Acts 4:29). Holy boldness comes through the anointing of God, and you receive that anointing when you let Jesus increase in you.

And when they [the disciples] had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness (Acts 4:31). That doesn’t mean they had just received the Holy Ghost; it means they were full of the Holy Ghost. When you are full of the Holy Ghost, He will shake you up so you can do more for the Lord.

Paul had that same boldness; and he said, According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death (Philippians 1:20). Some people are ashamed of the power of God, but that is awful. True children of God should be gloriously humbled by it.

Now when they [the people] saw the bold-ness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus (Acts 4:13). People could tell that Peter and John had been with Jesus, and people must be able to tell that we have been with Jesus, too. Only then will the Gospel increase. And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith (Acts 6:7).

Stand Up for God

Some of you are afraid to stand up to your family members who criticize God and the truth, but God gave me holy boldness from the time I was saved; and I tell people the truth no matter who they are. If they turn away, that is their choice.

You don’t have to feel obligated to visit with family or friends who curse, argue and put down your God. Demand respect or don’t stay, not even for a dinner. Jesus said, For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household (Matthew 10:35,36).

People who talk against God and the work of the Lord are not going to Heaven. All they have is an argument, but we have an experience. Paul said, But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness (II Timothy 2:16). Listening to the wrong people will cause Jesus to decrease in you. You have to be very careful who you associate with because people can steal your blessings when they talk about everything but God.

The devil will try to make you feel guilty for being bold enough to stand up against your kin; but when you have the truth, you never have to let his lies make you feel guilty. Some of your family members may say, “You don’t love me.” But all you have to say is, “I love you or I wouldn’t tell you the truth.” Then just go on your way.

Now, if you have some unsaved family mem-bers who don’t fight against God and against truth, you can take steps to be a blessing to them; but you can’t choose to be with them all the time. You still have to separate.

Trust in the Lord

Are you walking after the flesh or after the Spirit? For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit (Romans 8:5). Jesus will only increase in you if you shun the wrong and do the right.

Members of the bridal company walk after the Spirit, and He is bringing us in so close to Heaven now. He is teaching us to take our burdens to the Lord and leave them there, so we will have nothing to fear or worry about. Jesus said, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).

God said through the prophet Isaiah, Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness (Isaiah 41:10). The right hand of God serves nothing but good to His children, so there is no need to worry when you truly trust in Him.

Some people worry all the time, but worry will never get you anywhere. It is just a waste of time, so get rid of it! Trust God and be thankful for all that He has done for you. Jesus came and paid the price for you to have peace of mind all the time.

God asks, Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me (Jeremiah 32:27)? The answer is no. There is nothing too hard for our God, and you must decide to trust Him rather than people because there is nothing in man or woman to trust in. The Bible says, Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).

The Bible tells us that God’s ways are higher than our ways. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:8,9). That is why the Bible also says, It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man (Psalm 118:8).

A man who trusts in God rather than in himself knows he can do nothing without God; and Jesus knew that when He said, I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing (John 15:5).

We must know that God is our source of supply and let Him work through us. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Never Let Self Increase

Jesus will never increase in you unless you feel the need of Him, and the goodness of God and the convicting power of the Holy Ghost will help you to do that. You have to feel the need of God before you can reach Him and even before you can be saved. The goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance (Romans 2:4).

“To repent” means to feel regret for past conduct and change for the better. Sinners must repent of their sins, and Christians must repent of being too strong in themselves and not letting Jesus increase in them like He wants to. God wants to increase in His children because He loves them so much, and we must allow Him to do that so His love can shine forth to others. And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you (I Thessalonians 3:12).

Do you honestly believe that Jesus must increase and grow inside of you, or do you think you’re fine the way you are? You must repent from being rich in self only and not seeing the necessity of letting Jesus increase in your life. Repent from being zealous to promote your own desires and opinions over God’s.

Jesus said to the Church at Laodicea, Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye-salve [the Word of God], that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent (Revelation 3:17-19).

If you think the life you are leading is okay because you are not lacking in earthly things, you are headed for trouble. It is okay to have wealth, but you can’t let it get between you and God. God enables certain people to become rich on purpose, but He expects them to worship Him with what He has given them.

The Lord cannot increase within you until you stop trusting in yourself. But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us (II Corinthians 1:9,10).

Grow in the Lord

You will never learn all there is to know about God, even after you have been in Heaven with Him for trillions of years; so you must never stop seeking to learn more about Him. You must continue growing into the same stature as Jesus. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13).

Jesus is everything to mankind; but if you don’t see Him that way, He will never increase in your life. Then you won’t get anywhere in the Lord, and you will rob Him of receiving the benefits of the talents and blessings He has given you.

If you will let Jesus increase in you, you will increase in wisdom and in favor with God and man just as Jesus did. The Bible says, And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man (Luke 2:52). You will become someone God can be proud of because His strength and wisdom will be yours. But Saul [who was later called Paul] increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ (Acts 9:22).

There is no greater joy than to see Jesus and to recognize Him as your perfect Redeemer. His is the only name that can be used to bring true salvation. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

If you are really born again, you have the Son; and you have life. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life (I John 5:12). Any other doctrine besides the Gospel of Jesus Christ leads to death. Preachers who teach that nobody can live free from sin are sending people to hell, and they will soon be there, too.

You have to know how to reach God and stay plugged into Heaven all the time. Many people pray without really expecting to receive anything because they don’t know how to reach God. Jesus came to be our example; and He showed us that God always hears an honest heart when He prayed, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always (John 11:41,42). You can say that, too, when you walk in God’s divine will.

You have to get quiet before the Lord so He can reveal His will to you. Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10). When the Israelites were facing the Red Sea, God told Moses to tell the people to get still; and when they did, the Lord brought victory. And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever (Exodus 14:13). Then the Lord parted the waters of the Red Sea, and the people passed through on dry ground.

Can God Trust You?

God knows what His abilities are and that He cannot fail. He knows He is holy, all-powerful and there is no shadow of turning in Him. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17). The Lord is the beginning and the end. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last (Revelation 22:13).

You have to trust God to be everything He wants to be in your life and yield to Him night and day. Then He will be able to trust you like He did Job. God said to Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil (Job 1:8)? God knew that Job fully trusted Him, and He knows whether or not you trust Him, too.

If Job had trusted in himself, in his family and in his possessions, God could not have said that about him because God cannot trust in those who trust in people or things more than they do Him. God can only trust those who trust in divinity; and thankfully, Job was letting the Lord increase in him.

The Apostle Paul had many things to trust in as far as the flesh was concerned. He said, If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more (Philippians 3:4). But Paul stopped trusting in those things after he met Jesus. Then he counted all things worthless that he might win Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ (Philippians 3:8).

Paul trusted completely in the Lord, so God could also trust Paul and work His excellent works through him. To be excellent in the knowledge of Jesus Christ meant more to Paul than anything else, and that is why Paul became the greatest of all the apostles and why God poured more books of the Bible through Paul than through anyone else.

Job Trusted God

When people put their trust in anything or anyone other than God, the Lord begins to decrease in them; and then Satan knows he has a chance to cause them to fail. Let’s go back to Job. Satan thought he could get Job to fail if he took his health and possessions from him, but Job did not trust in those things; he trusted in God.

Satan said, Doth Job fear God for nought? Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land (Job 1:9,10). Satan was telling God, “No wonder Job trusts you; you give him everything he wants.” But God knew that was not true because He knew Job’s heart.

It seems there was a time when Job was a poor man and had nothing, but Job gave himself to God in a beautiful way; and God blessed him. He gave Job seven sons and three daughters, and Job loved them so much that he brought them before him daily and prayed over them just in case they had done something wrong. And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually (Job 1:5).

God had so much faith in Job’s love for Him that He allowed Satan to take away all his possessions, his children and his health; but Job still trusted God. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly (Job 1:22).

When Job’s wife said, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die (Job 2:9), Job answered her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips (Job 2:10).

It is most likely that Job lived before the Law was given; and if he had so much trust in God then, how much more should we be able to trust Him now in this dispensation of grace? We have abundant grace through Jesus Christ and the precious promises in the living Word of God that Job was not aware of.

Never Blame God

It is foolish for people to blame God and stop trusting Him when something bad happens to them. Some people will blame God when a close loved one dies; and even if that loved one went to Heaven, they still resent God for taking the person. God has a right to take His children home whenever He wants to. As for God, his way is perfect (II Samuel 22:31).

Jesus said we would have tribulations in this world, but they do not come from God because Jesus came to Earth and overcame the world. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33). Those who really trust God and let Him increase in them will overcome the world and all of its tribulations.

When you truly trust in God, you will trust Him in the good times and the bad times knowing that He will work all things out for good. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). Say that verse again and again when you are facing trying times, and God will help you and strengthen you.

God is not only your helper but also your pro-tector against all the powers of the devil. Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield (Psalm 115:11). Trust ye in the LORD forever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength (Isaiah 26:4).

Jesus is the head of the body of the spiritual Church, and we must hold Him higher than anyone or anything else. The Head [Christ], from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God (Colossians 2:19). You must draw spiritual nourishment from the Lord because you can only serve others what you already have.

God wants to give you so much of Himself so you can be holy like Him. God said, Be ye holy; for I am holy (I Peter 1:16). But if you aren’t holy and don’t have all of Jesus, you can’t serve all of Him like He wants you to.

Trials Will Come

When your trying times come, will God increase or decrease in you? How you react to your trials will let you know whether or not you really trust God. That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ (I Peter 1:7). You will have nothing to fear when you trust in God with all of your heart.

When you really put your trust in God and His grace, you can go boldly before His throne in your time of need. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). I love talking to God; and He is always ready to listen, even if it is two or three o’clock in the morning. He is ready to take my burden so I can continue carrying the burden of this lost world.

The saints of old had trials, and I say again that we will, too. And others had trial of cruel mock-ings and scourgings [beatings], yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment (Hebrews 11:36). It was terrible how those early Christians were treated, but they stayed true to God. That is why the Lord tells us to earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3).

I wanted the same faith those saints had, so I went after it. I told God I would do anything to have that faith and that nothing would stop me. I was tested, tried and persecuted, and all hell seemed to come after me; but I won, and I see the results of it every day.

You can go after that faith, too, but you will really have to suffer to get it. It will be a trying time for you; but the Bible says, The trying of your faith worketh patience (James 1:3). If you ask the Lord for patience, He will give it to you; but be ready for tribulation. We glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience (Romans 5:3).

We would all like to be handed patience just as we were handed salvation, but there is a price tag on receiving patience. You will have to suffer tribulation; but while you are being tried, never cast away your confidence in God. Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise (Hebrews 10:35,36). Once you make it through your trial, you will have to wait patiently to receive the fulfillment of the promise of God you were seeking.

There is a condition that must be met for every promise before you can receive the fulfillment of it, and meeting the conditions of some promises requires more patience than others; but let no person or devil stop you. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end (Hebrews 3:14).

Divinity Is the Answer

Jesus said, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth (Matthew 28:18); and He gave that same power to us. You can have all the power you need to do what God wants you to do, but you have to trust Him with your whole heart and make no excuses. But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is [God], and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).

You have to believe everything the Bible teaches and put so much trust in the blood, the Word and the Holy Spirit that they will become a part of you. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit [the Holy Ghost], and the [divine] water, and the blood: and these three agree in one (I John 5:8). Those three things are not the same, but they agree with one another 100 percent.

Trusting in God and letting Him increase in you takes you out of your human feelings and into divinity, and there is no weakness in divinity. But they that wait [with patience] upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint [draw back] (Isaiah 40:31).

True trust in the Lord includes a willingness to surrender everything to His divine will. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil (Proverbs 3:5-7). When you do that, you will have nothing to worry about.

Never try going after the things of God unless you diligently seek Him with all of you—your soul, mind and body. Then it won’t matter what others say or do because God knows your spiritual condition and everything about you. Behold, my witness is in heaven, and my record is on high (Job 16:19).

When the devil comes around to try and accuse you of anything, just tell him to take it to God. Yea, let God be true, but every man a liar (Romans 3:4). If you know you are all right in the eyes of God, then pay no attention to the devil or anyone else.

The Bible says, Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Never let the devil make you run; you should make him run. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 15:57).

Let Jesus In

God is getting His children ready for the Rapture so we can go to Heaven alive. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (I Thessalonians 4:16,17). We will meet Christ and our loved ones in the air; and, oh, what a glorious time that will be! It doesn’t matter whether other people believe it or not. God said it; we believe it, and that settles it.

We are living in the last days no matter what Satan or anyone else tells you. The coming of the Lord is nigh; and He is only coming for a Bride without spot, wrinkle or even a blemish. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27).

If you are living in the Word, you don’t have to worry about the next life. Jesus came and put up a bridge for all who will accept Him so we can take just one step and be in Heaven; but if you are not living in the Word, you are just one step from hell.

Sinner…come to Jesus. Backslider…hurry home! Eternal darkness is about to settle on you. The devil will tell you that you have plenty of time, but he has told many people that lie again and again; and then they woke up screaming in hell for eternity.

When I really saw Jesus and was saved, I experienced true happiness for the first time; and that is the kind of happiness you can have, too. If you are unsaved, say this prayer right now: Oh, God, save my soul! Forgive me of my sins. You said if I would repent with godly sorrow, you would forgive me; and now, I am repenting with godly sorrow. I am so sorry that I sinned against you, Lord. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in, Jesus! If you meant that prayer, Jesus has come; and He is yours.

God Wants to Heal You

If you are sick, afflicted or bound with a deadly disease, don’t listen to the enemy tell you that you can’t have a miracle. Instead, the Lord is saying, I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26). He is ready to heal you and set you free. Then give God all the glory for your deliverance.

I always give God all the glory for everything He does. I never claim to heal anybody. God is the healer, and I am just His witness. The Bible says, But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness [Jesus] arise with healing in his wings (Malachi 4:2). Jesus went to the whipping post where He was beaten almost to death; and with His blood stripes, we have physical healing. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Jesus gave everything for us, yet so many people didn’t accept Him. But those who did and reached out for Him, even just to touch His clothes, were made whole. And when the men of that place had knowledge of him [Jesus], they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased; And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole (Matthew 14:35,36). That shows you how easy it is to be made well.

Healing isn’t a hard thing; people are the ones who make it hard. The doctor may tell you that you are going to die; but that doesn’t mean you will because when man has done all he can do, Jesus stands ready to heal you. He did that when He was on Earth; and the Bible says, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Jesus never came up against one disease or affliction that He couldn’t heal when people would put their trust in Him. Jesus even raised people from the dead.

The Lord wants to give you a perfect miracle just like He gave me so many years ago. I went to death’s door, and it looked like I would die for sure in just a few days; but God came one night and made me whole. He delivered me from everything that was wrong with me. Later, the Lord let me see that I had to know how people who were dying felt at death’s door so I could have the same compassion for people that Jesus had when He was here.

You may have AIDS, but untold thousands have been healed of AIDS through this Jesus ministry; and we thank God for it. It doesn’t matter whether you have leprosy, TB, diabetes, cancer, heart trouble, paralysis or any other affliction. No case is too hard for our Lord.

Lord, I bring the people to you. I am your believer whom you have endowed with your supernatural gifts to bring healing to the people in the precious, blood name of Jesus; but you are the healer. I curse all of their diseases. Heal! in the name of Jesus. I put every disease and affliction under the blood right now to be destroyed in the name of the Lord.

Remember, the divine blood is life, so get well and then write or email to tell me about it. The Lord doesn’t heal people so they can serve the devil, so you must live for the Lord and serve Him. You will find the truth in the blood Word and in the blood promises of Lord God Almighty; so listen to Him and be made whole in your soul, mind and body. Then you can win souls for Jesus.

Power from On High

Now, you must go on to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost, power for service. We dine with Jesus and the Father through the Holy Ghost, but some people won’t tarry for the Holy Ghost. Down through the years, God has spoken to me three different times and said that the ones who are living when Jesus comes will have to have the Holy Ghost to make the Rapture.

Jesus gave us the Holy Ghost to be our comforter when we are in great sorrow. And I [Jesus] will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you (John 14:16-18).

The Spirit is also to be our teacher. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:26). The Holy Ghost will be a holy voice directing you into truth only. Thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left (Isaiah 30:21).

When you have the Holy Ghost living within you, He will bring you what Christ taught; and you will never make it to Rapture ground with-out Him. If Jesus, the very Son of God, had to have the Holy Ghost, then so do we. When John baptized Jesus, he saw the Spirit descending upon Him in the form of a dove. And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him (John 1:32).

You must seek the Holy Spirit with all of your heart until He comes in and takes over your tongue. Speaking with other tongues as the disciples did on the Day of Pentecost is the first evidence of the Holy Ghost baptism. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4).

May God bless you, and I look forward to seeing you in the Rapture one day soon.
