Star Triple Seven, the magnificent plane the Lord had so miraculously provided to the ministry, gleamed brighter than ever in the early October sun as we arrived at the airport for our much anticipated trip to Guyana, South America. It had been five years since our last trip to Georgetown, so our tour members arrived anxious to glean in that harvest field of lost souls.

Before we left, Rev. Angley declared, “God let me know ahead of time that we are going to have one mighty crusade, and we are going to conquer.” Everyone cheered at this message from the Lord because they knew their many months of sacrifice and preparation were going to be rewarded with thousands of souls being saved and delivered. “Open up the heavens upon us!” Rev. Angley cried to the Lord; and we were soon airborne and expecting God to do just that.

Star Triple Seven, a beautiful Boeing 747, attracts attention wherever we go; and as we landed in Guyana, many of the airport workers had lined up outside to watch us arrive. They had no idea that it was actually God’s plane that had just landed in their country or what was in store for them in the days ahead, but the honest-hearted were soon to find out. As we got off the plane, we were greeted with the extreme heat and high humidity of tropical Guyana; but nothing could discourage us because we were on a mission for the Lord.

The First Week Brought Open Doors

Early Monday morning, over 50 of our tour members flooded the streets of Georgetown to minister to the people; and immediately, the stories of God at work began to pour in. The people’s minds were fertile and ready to accept the truth because Rev. Angley’s program had been on television in Guyana for over eleven years, and many of the people had not only watched it but studied it. God had prepared them for this crusade, and it was up to each individual to choose to take advantage of the great opportunity set before them.

We were amazed at how receptive the schools in Georgetown were to our people. In the past, we have had to make prior arrangements to minister to the schoolchildren; however, in just our first two days in Georgetown, our tour members were welcomed into eight schools on just a moment’s notice and given time to speak in each classroom. Both the teachers and the children were hungry for the Word of God; and in nearly every school, young voices could be heard singing “Jesus Loves Me” and inviting Him into their hearts.

One primary school headmaster who had been to our crusade services in 2007 and had continued to follow the Lord not only allowed our people to minister to all 800 of her children but also insisted that each one of her teachers receive special prayer. At the close of the visit, she commented, “I knew when we were presented with such an opportunity that it had to be the plan of God.”

After classroom presentations in a high school, the students gathered around our people to ask pointed questions about God and divine miracles, to request additional reading material and to inquire about the Ernest Angley Online Bible College. We had never seen young people with such hungry hearts. What a stark contrast this was to our own United States where God cannot be mentioned in our public schools, and many of our children no longer even know who Jesus is—how sad.

Doors continued to open, and three of our tour members who work in the medical field received an overwhelming response when they testified and shared the Gospel with 200 students at a nursing school. Another group of our people was given the opportunity to speak to nearly 120 young men and women at a firefighters’ training center. The instructor was reluctant at first, but God’s anointing soon changed his demeanor; and the impromptu session ended with everyone saying the sinners’ prayer loud enough to make the lecture hall echo. What a beautiful sound that must have been going up to Heaven!

Many of our congregation members spend hours making beautiful beaded bracelets for us to hand out to the people wherever we go. A young lady who had been given one of those bracelets had put it on her ankle and received an instant miracle for her foot. Miraculously, she later found the same couple who had given it to her, and she asked them for another bracelet for her friend who also needed a miracle.

The Lord directed three of our street workers to pray with a drug addict who was on the verge of suicide and desperately looking for help, and he received a life-changing experience when the Lord gloriously saved him. Throughout our stay in Guyana, many other tour members reported similar transformation stories that could only have come about through God’s great mercy.

Rev. Angley Taught the Ministers

Thursday morning brought the first ministers’ meeting, and the pastors who attended were sincerely hungering and thirsting for more of God. The Lord immediately set the stage for this meeting when He said through Rev. Angley, “I am here to do you good; I am here to increase your power; I am here to increase your love; I am here to increase your grace, saith the Lord.

“God knows just what you need to help your people get ready to get out of here,” Rev. Angley commented. “It is our own fault, Preachers, if we don’t teach the Word right and live it right before people. The Bible says, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32).”

The ministers’ meetings are always teaching sessions; and Rev. Angley touched on many different topics to help the ministers grow in the Lord—what it takes to be a true son or daughter of God, the plan of tithing, living holy, the dangers of procrastinating, having the true love of God and the discipline of the Holy Spirit. “You receive miracles, get the knowledge of the Word and build churches through strict discipline,” he declared.

The Lord let the pastors know that everyone must have the real Holy Ghost baptism to make the Rapture. Then the Spirit began to pour out upon them as Rev. Angley proclaimed, “Lord, you have let me know there are hungry hearts here this morning who want the real Holy Ghost. Preachers, you will never be the same if you will really let Him take you over! The Lord wants to use everybody in this hour.

“We came to help you and to join hands with you,” Rev. Angley told the ministers. “Are you ready to join hands with us? If you are, put your hands in the hands of Jesus. Then the Holy Ghost will take you over and use your hands.” Before the meeting ended, God had filled every minister to the brim who had yielded to Him.

The following days were filled with more opportunities to touch souls. A small group of our tour members brought love and excitement to the children at two small orphanages. Two of our associate pastors and their wives ministered to the patients at a small hospital and at an AIDS clinic. At the clinic, a man standing outside refused to go in; so Rev. Machamer approached him and soon discovered that the man had been an inmate in a local prison where he had ministered in 2007. After his release, he had fallen away from God; however, this reunion was more than just a coincidence, and Rev. Machamer was able to lead the man back to the Lord.

The First Service

All of this work led up to the first Friday night crusade service and paved the way for the Lord to move in a miraculous way. As soon as Rev. Angley greeted the people, the Lord began to reveal miracles for AIDS, cancer, TB and more that were taking place in the audience. Two of the AIDS miracles were for people who were on the verge of death and not able to attend the service, but Rev. Angley let the family members in the audience know that they would find their loved ones healed when they returned home.

“There is great faith here tonight,” Rev. Angley declared, “and there are going to be many miracles.” But the Lord knew that the minds of the people would have to be free and clear for them to receive all He had for them, so Rev. Angley prayed that they would give all of their burdens to the Lord. As they did, he announced, “Freedom from Heaven has landed on your hearts, on your lives and on your homes! That is why Jesus came—to set the captives free!”

Rev. Angley’s message that night was “Come and See,” and he challenged the people to see Jesus in all of His greatness. He wanted them to know that the Lord would be their God, their Savior, their love, their faith and their power. “Come and see,” Rev. Angley invited. “God is ready to move for you.”

Rev. Angley called for the healing line, and the awe-struck crowd watched as the deaf received their hearing and people received the senses of smell and taste right before their very eyes. Their faith rose high, and Rev. Angley went on to point out many people who never would have been healed or set free without a touch of the Master’s hand. The service closed with a beautiful anointing, and Rev. Angley revealed that 920 people had received something very special from the Lord.

There is no day of rest on the mission field; and Saturday morning, our tour members visited several schools, an orphanage, a nursing home and a homeless shelter. Those at the shelter received a double blessing because not only were they given the opportunity to receive eternal life; but in a subsequent visit, each person received a new pair of shoes. One of our associate pastor’s wives used those shoes as an opportunity to explain to a young man that the shoes of Jesus were much more important than physical shoes, and that thought of God led him to receive the Lord into his heart.

A Service of Miracles

The Saturday night service was all about miracles. The Cathedral Trio’s opening songs focused the people’s minds on the Lord; and then Rev. Angley suddenly got very still as he told them, “Listen. I hear the sound of miracles coming toward us through the air. Angelic beings have surrounded us, saith the Lord, to hold back the powers of darkness. Angels will touch people this night, saith the Lord; and it will be just like God touching you.

The Lord covered the people with a cloud of glory; and for the next 30 minutes, God revealed diseases and bondages to individuals in a very personal way. A mother of three children had contracted AIDS from a wayward husband, and she was not expected to live for more than six months; but Rev. Angley said, “When you go back to the doctor, there will be no sign of AIDS, saith the Lord. God told me that your children need you. Be a godly mom to them, and the Lord will be pleased.”

The Lord showed great mercy to a person with a malignant tumor at the base of the brain. “God is saving you from a horrible death,” Rev. Angley said. “You have lived a wicked and wayward life; but you gave your heart to God last night, and the Lord is honoring you with a miracle tonight.”

God’s discernment was penetrating as He revealed a person who had destroyed a marriage by telling a terrible lie. Rev. Angley warned, “You will have to make it right or you will die within seven months, saith the Lord. You have a deadly disease working in your body, but I’m not going to tell you what it is until you bring that marriage back together. Seven devils bind you. Be here tomorrow night…and those devils will come out of you; but if you don’t make it right, you will die.”

The Lord was making Himself real not only to individuals but to the masses. One thousand people received a re-created nervous system, 571 received a miracle for their eyes, and there were many more AIDS revelations.

Rev. Angley wanted everyone to surrender their hearts to the Lord, and he called for a recording of a beautiful song by Angel’s Grace Cathedral Choir entitled “Surrender” to be played. It was written by one of the choir members, and it carries such a holy anointing that it touches hearts whenever it is performed. “The miracle power is bringing us into one mind, the mind of Jesus,” Rev. Angley explained. “That means our hands become His hands…and He uses us completely to bring others into the Kingdom. This crusade will live for all time and eternity, saith the Lord. Many souls will find Jesus and make the one flight out.

Rev. Angley’s message, “Learn Jesus,” took the people deeper into the greatness of the Lord. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls (Matthew 11:29). “Jesus is a stranger to some of you,” Rev. Angley began. “You have learned about the world, about voodoo and about witchcraft; but you have not learned Jesus, the Pearl of Great Price. You must learn His Gospel, and you must learn His truth. You must learn His miracles, His care and the six things listed in Philippians 4:8: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Rev. Angley ended the message by leading everyone in a prayer of rededication to the Jesus they had just learned so much about. After the Lord had performed yet more miracles on the platform during the healing line, Rev. Angley prayed a blood anointing down and sent the people on their way to anoint every part of their homes.

The Holy Ghost Came Down

On Sunday morning, many of our tour members visited and ministered in the local churches while others blanketed a very busy market area where the hungry people soon cleaned our people out of all the literature they had taken with them. That night, our morning efforts were rewarded with our largest crowd yet; and that service was focused on miracles and the Holy Ghost.

As soon as Rev. Angley stepped onto the platform, the Lord spoke through him saying, Thus saith the Lord, I have come down to you to heal you this night; but I must have all the honor, the praise and the glory. The Lord then made some sobering revelations. One backslider in the audience had given AIDS to his wife, and she had died. “You’re going to die, too, unless you come to God,” Rev. Angley plainly told him. “If you give your heart to God tonight, you will be healed before you leave here; but if you don’t, you will die.” Just a short while later, the man did give his heart to God.

Next, Rev. Angley announced, “This is Holy Ghost night, and you can receive the real baptism in the Spirit like the disciples received on the day of Pentecost. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4). The Lord has definitely told me three different times that those who are alive when Jesus comes will have to have the Holy Ghost to make the Rapture because the change will take place only according to the power that worketh within you.

“When the Spirit comes in, He will speak; but you have to have a holy tongue to receive the Holy Ghost. That signifies that He has the whole you. You will get the Holy Ghost by praising the Lord. Then the power of God will take your tongue over and baptize you. It is the greatest thing that will ever happen to you next to your salvation…and you’re not going to make it in this final hour without that power, saith the Lord.

Following a song by the Cathedral Trio, Rev. Angley said, “I just went into the vision, and there are angels all over us. Reach up and let an angel touch you. The Bible says, Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14)? Angels are ministering to you right now, and you can be healed of anything. We are being brought into one mind and one accord so your impossibilities can become possibilities. Jesus said, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23).”

The people reached out, and 203 received miracles of all kinds. Then the Lord revealed several people in the audience who would have died without God’s healing touch. One miracle was for a woman’s six-year-old grandson who was dying when she had seen him that afternoon, but the Lord said he would be alive and well when she returned home.

Then Rev. Angley turned and said, “I’m in the vision, and the glory of the Lord has covered you up. Feel Him on the inside of you; feel Him on the outside of you. The power of God is making diseases flee from people’s bodies tonight!”

God ministers to people in the crusade services through song just as much as He does through the spoken Word; and as the Cathedral Trio sang, 1061 were healed of foot and leg trouble; 398 received re-created nervous systems; 194 were healed of various other diseases, and 59 people gave their hearts to the Lord. During that time, God also re-created the backbone of a man who had been severely injured in a car accident; and He made a man whole whose left leg was shorter than the other. “When you stand up, you’ll find your legs are the same length,” Rev. Angley gladly announced.

That night’s message, “The Tongue of Fire,” was all about the Holy Ghost. John said, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire (Luke 3:16). Rev. Angley taught the people that the divine fire is the symbol of the power of the Holy Ghost, and the Lord allows Rev. Angley to see His pillar of fire working. “When that pillar of fire comes into my services,” he explained, “it spins around and then unrolls and covers the heavens with divine fire that doesn’t burn up. Miracles and healings take place, and the devil doesn’t have a chance. That kind of fire tortures him like physical fire tortures our flesh.”

Rev. Angley went on to teach the people many things about the Holy Ghost and how to receive Him; and at the close of the message, the Holy Ghost began to fall. The power was so strong that Rev. Angley could not even stand without one of our associate pastors holding him up. He told the people to start saying, “Glory, glory, glory”; and then the Lord spoke to them saying, I am here, saith the Lord. My servant is calling down the Holy Ghost on you. Let the Holy Ghost come in. Some of you are receiving now, saith the Lord. What a perfect way to close an incredible weekend of services…and the next day, the Lord revealed to Rev. Angley three times that 99 people had indeed received the real Holy Ghost that night.

Another Week to Work for God

During our first week, our people had worked tirelessly in one mind and one accord; and it had been an overwhelming success for the Lord. There is not room enough to mention everything that took place; but in all of our travels, we had never had so many opportunities to share the Gospel.

When the second week began, visiting schools had become a welcome part of our daily agenda. Only God could have known how the news of the crusades would spread so rapidly through our reaching the children, but we found that the people in Guyana are serious about honoring God in their schools. They begin each day with prayer, and we often saw scriptures prominently displayed on the school walls. We will never get over watching the principals and headmasters shut down everything so their children could receive the Word of God. There are over 100 schools in Georgetown; so early Monday morning, our tour members prayed their way into four more.

God’s anointing and our enthusiasm to win souls are contagious, and the two bus drivers who chauffeured our people around town began to get caught up in the excitement. After a morning of school visits, one of the drivers took a busload of our people to his grandparents’ home; and when the bus arrived, the driver insisted that all 26 of our workers go into the small house. During that brief stay, his grandparents both received prayer; and his grandfather gave his heart to the Lord. Later in the week, both that young man and our other bus driver became changed people when they also gave their hearts to the Lord—an answer to the prayers of many of our people.

By Monday afternoon, reports from the weekend crusade services began to flood in. One excited woman reported that she had received a miracle for crippling arthritis in one of her hands, and she proudly showed off that both of her hands were identical. Another young lady who had been HIV positive reported that she had scheduled another test and couldn’t wait to get the negative result.

That same afternoon, a busload of our people took God’s anointing to Georgetown’s largest hospital where they spent three hours ministering to the patients. They used the ministry’s anointed blest cloths to pray for the people, and God moved for them in miraculous ways. In the infectious disease ward, Rev. Millar and a small group of our people prayed with those who were at death’s door and led a majority of them to the Lord. Three others of our people spent an hour ministering in the psychiatric ward. It takes divine patience and the anointing of God to deal with mental spirits; and when our workers left that ward, three teenage boys had accepted Jesus into their hearts.

Tuesday brought four more school visits, and even the University of Guyana opened its campus to allow our people to talk with and distribute literature to the students. Other tour members took God’s love to the shut-ins at a large nursing home where one of our men came upon a woman who would not speak or communicate with anyone. He knew that no case is too hard for the Lord, so he patiently shared God’s love with her; and before he left, she who supposedly could not speak had clearly said the sinners’ prayer.

A nurse on duty at the same home told another one of our workers that her cousin had been healed of AIDS through a blest cloth she had received during our 2007 crusade. Divine miracles are real, and the doctors had confirmed that woman’s miracle twice.

Throughout all of this, the Lord used the Cathedral Trio to open people’s hearts not only in the evening crusade services but also during the days. When they visited different institutions, elderly folks, lonely orphans and even hardened criminals would forget themselves and sing the praises of the Lord along with them. The trio was featured on one of the local television stations; and people on the streets would recognize them, and to their surprise, even call them by name.

The Anointing Drew the Ministers

The crowd in the Wednesday morning ministers’ meeting was nearly three times the size of the previous week, and Rev. Angley’s message for them was “Get Off the Boat.” When Jesus came walking toward the disciples’ little ship on the stormy sea, Peter said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me (Matthew 14:28-30).

“Peter actually walked,” Rev. Angley told the pastors; “but when he saw the waves, he lost his faith and went down.” And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt (Matthew 14:31)? “You must see with faith eyes,” Rev. Angley explained. “The Bible says, The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17). Jesus came all the way from Heaven to give us divine faith because He loves us, but you cannot understand God’s love until you get it inside of you.

“The Lord sent me to tell you that you can be so much for Him. You can be His eyes, His ears, His hands and His feet; and you can get to the place where when you touch a person, it will be just like Jesus touching them…and when Jesus touches us, we are connected with God on the throne.”

The power of God moved in; and Rev. Angley said, “God is ready to heal and deliver you.” Then the Lord took over and began revealing miracles that were taking place for all kinds of diseases and afflictions. One man was instantly set free of 16 different ailments. Rev. Angley told a woman being tortured by a mate who was deep into witchcraft, “You have been robbed of so much happiness, and you’re sick much of the time. You will have to get away from that mate. You cannot fellowship with witchcraft, or you will be destroyed.”

Rev. Angley closed the meeting with, “God wants you to know that He is going to raise up many preachers in this nation, saith the Lord, ones who will preach real prophecy and real love.” To help the ministers in both of the meetings go deeper with the Lord, Rev. Angley freely gave them several of his books and smaller sermon booklets. God had delivered what the ministers would need to carry on His work, and it was up to them to follow through.

At the request of the hotel management, Rev. Angley had a special session with the hotel staff after the ministers’ meeting. They were so humble before the Lord, and Rev. Angley prayed for each one. Even the hotel owner set aside his many business affairs to meet with Rev. Angley that day.

God Was Leading Us

Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning were filled with street work, visits to nine different schools and praying for the patients in a small hospital. Some of our tour members had a unique opportunity to visit a center for children with disabilities, but they did not know that nearly 50 deaf children would be there. Nevertheless, God had everything under control—one of our tour members on the team that day was well-versed in sign language and was able to share the Gospel with those children.

That visit made such an impact that two of the center’s workers and one of the students attended the weekend crusade services, and each one received their hearing. One of the young ladies was completely overcome with tears when Rev. Angley prayed for her; and the next day, she reported to some of our people that she had seen an angel on the platform that night. Rev. Angley commented in a later service, “If that young lady gets the right kind of training, God is going to use her. God lets me know things ahead of time.” Our tour members’ tireless efforts were paying off in a fantastic way.

One of the only institutions that had not been open to us since we had arrived in Guyana was the prisons, and ministering to the inmates is something our associate pastors always look forward to. However, we have learned to never give up; and after much prayer and perseverance, they were finally permitted to visit the prison headquarters on Thursday morning. Armed with the anointing of God, they made a wonderful presentation; and the door to the prisons opened wide—visits with the inmates were scheduled to begin the next day.

In the meantime, Rev. Machamer and Rev. Millar took advantage of a rare opportunity to share the Word of God with 200 staff and officers at a training facility for Guyana’s special security forces. As God would have it, the event turned into more of a church service; and to the surprise of our ministers, nearly every person in attendance wanted an individual touch and prayer.

Anointed Music Carried the Message

Our last weekend of services began Thursday night, and it seemed as if the Lord just picked up where He had left off the previous Sunday night. God continued to make Himself real to those people in a very personal way; and Rev. Angley even commented, “God is doing the unbelievable in these services; I’ve never seen Him work deeper.” Then God began revealing miracles and healings in the audience in great detail. A 16-year-old had received AIDS from his father and was going to die within six months; but because he had given his heart to the Lord the previous weekend, God made him whole.

The Lord revealed another AIDS victim who had sold her body for five years; and Rev. Angley said, “Without this miracle, you will die within a week. You are healed, but you must keep yourself pure and clean. You had a number of lusting devils that bound you, and now you are free; but you will have to fast, pray and live in the Word of God.”

During the service, God used the anointed words of the music to preach to the people rather than a message; and the Lord moved in amazing ways. After one song, 210 people received miracles for many different bondages and afflictions which included 15 for AIDS, 11 for cancer, five for diabetes and 10 special deliverances for people in the invalid section

A grandmother in the audience was pulling hard for three of her grandchildren who were bound with asthma, and her faith drew the Lord to her. Rev. Angley turned and said, “When you get home, you will see that they are healed. Tell them that Jesus did it and that they must always serve the Lord.”

Rev. Angley wanted to make the miracles even more real to the people, and he brought a great witness on stage to testify of her miracle for AIDS. The woman had received a blest cloth in 2007; and by using it with faith, she had been made whole. Prior to that time, she had tested positive for HIV 15 times; but after her miracle, she had tested negative twice. There is no medical cure for AIDS, and the people cheered to see one of their own standing before them as a living miracle.

As the Word in song continued, 833 more miracles took place; and Rev. Angley said, “The miracles are flowing like mighty rivers, and God wants to make you a witness for Him in this final hour. We are covered with the fire of the Holy Ghost, and the miracle power is woven into that fire. Reach up and go into the miracle power tonight.”

That power was getting into the people, and the Lord let Rev. Angley know that many young people were surrendering their hearts to Him. “You are ready for the call of God. The Lord Himself told me that He has a plan for every life; and when you get ready for that plan, He’ll give it to you step by step.” Rev. Angley ended that great service by telling the people, “This is a time of dedication and consecration to the Lord like never before.”

Friday morning brought the first prison visit, and God had those inmates prepared. Rev. Machamer and Rev. Millar conducted separate services, and both were received with open arms. The inmates had been watching Rev. Angley’s program in the prison every weekend; and because of that, God was able to move with such great power that some of the inmates were slain in the Spirit when they received prayer.

That same morning, our tour members were hard at work taking advantage of our last weekday in Guyana. They helped share the Gospel with over 3000 students, and only God could have made such a thing possible. Those not involved in the schools spent the morning on the streets of the city, and God had a hand in that as well. One of our workers came upon a homeless man who appeared to be on the verge of death and could hardly muster enough strength to breathe. At first, the man didn’t pay much attention to the worker trying to help him; but divine love and patience soon broke through, and the man gave his heart to the Lord. He was a brand plucked out of the fire that the Bible describes: And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire (Jude 1:22,23).

A Service of Deliverance

Friday evening, God was at work before the service even began. A family steeped in witchcraft had arrived early, and their daughter was severely devil-possessed. Those devils were manifesting themselves through her so violently that she had to be restrained for over 30 minutes. When Rev. Angley arrived for the service, he had compassion on her; and God miraculously delivered her from 91 devils and saved her soul.

At the beginning of the service, Rev. Angley declared, “I have been with Jesus today, and I know it is going to be great tonight!” Then the Lord went deep into individuals’ lives. A cancer victim who would have died within just a few days was given the gift of life. To another lady, Rev. Angley said, “Your husband has been dead for over three years, but you have held onto God for your children. Two of them have AIDS, but they are now healed.”

After the Cathedral Trio had ministered to the people in song, Rev. Angley had a heart-to-heart teaching session with them entitled “Give God Something to Work With.” He wanted the people to know that God could work with whatever they had if they would just give it to Him. He reminded them that God had acknowledged the widow’s mite; and he told them, “Don’t pine about what you don’t have; the Lord is waiting for you to let Him use what you do have. When you hold back on God, He cannot work for you. Only total obedience night and day will give you the plan of God for your life.”

For over 45 minutes, the hungry people were quiet, attentive and drinking in every word that Rev. Angley said. In all of our travels, we had never before seen such a large percentage of people in one nation honor God as those people did; and the Lord greatly rewarded them for it.

When the message ended, the Lord revealed two people on the verge of suicide. To the first one, Rev. Angley gravely said, “You have committed an awful sin, and the devil is telling you that you can never be free…but he is deceiving you. You already have the poison in your home to take your life, and your family doesn’t know about it. You have to be saved tonight, or you will commit suicide tomorrow.”

Rev. Angley said to the second person, “You have three suicide devils. Thus saith the Lord, if the fourth one that is seeking to take you over comes in, you will commit suicide in 30 days if you don’t give your heart to God now.” The Lord further revealed that the person was possessed with 39 devils in addition to the suicide devils. Rev. Angley asked the audience to join those tortured souls in saying the sinners’ prayer, and the Lord claimed victory over the devil when they both gave their hearts to God.

Rev. Angley ended that fantastic service by telling the people, “Put out your hands and take this anointing. Numbers of you are going to be made whole, saith the Lord. Touch yourself in the name of Jesus; and I command you to be made whole of all diseases, all deformities and all afflictions.”

The people in Georgetown had only two more days to witness God’s signs, wonders and miracles; so Saturday morning, some of our hard-working tour members were spread throughout a busy market area while others visited a children’s home, two schools hosting a special weekend event, a hospital and three nursing homes. The residents at one of the homes were so moved by one of our young men’s testimonies of being raised by a godly grandmother that many rededicated their lives to the Lord. One woman yielded so completely that she was on the verge of receiving the Holy Ghost; and while the rest of the group moved on to another nursing home, a few stayed behind to pray her through.

God Called for Total Dedication

When Saturday night arrived, Rev. Angley announced to the people that God had been dealing with him about the service in an unusual way throughout the day and that the Lord had even revealed to him a particular individual who would be at the service. Then Rev. Angley put forth this startling revelation: “You are an AIDS victim, and there is no way you will live but through the Lord. You are very well-known in this nation, and you don’t want anyone to know that you are dying with AIDS. You made the doctors promise that they would never tell a soul, and it is only by the mighty hand of God that you will be delivered.

“You believe in Jesus Christ, but you have not lived close to Him. He loves you, and He is calling you. You have to come home, or you will die right away. AIDS is all through you; and without God, you will go to hell…you don’t even have a month to live.” The man repented when Rev. Angley led the audience in the sinners’ prayer; and he rejoiced in saying, “God has healed you for a purpose, and your testimony will be great!”

During that prayer, three other AIDS victims gave their hearts to the Lord; and He healed them, too. To one of those victims, Rev. Angley said, “It is a good thing you are here tonight. One more step, saith the Lord, and you would have blasphemed against the Holy Ghost; and you would have been doomed for eternity.” God’s great mercy was pulling souls back from the brink of hell.

During all of this, the faith of others in the audience was increasing; and Rev. Angley was full of compassion for the sick and afflicted when he began praying, “God, you must heal the people or they will die. You know I always give you all the glory. Please, God, do let them live to help me take the Gospel to the world.”

Physical miracles began taking place throughout the audience; but the Lord was still dealing with many people about their salvation, and Rev. Angley definitely let them know, “Some of you are on dangerous ground. Thus saith the Lord, if you don’t get saved tonight, some of you will never get saved. The Lord is sending you a love message tonight, and He brought you here on purpose. He will forgive you no matter what you have done, and He will cleanse you of all unrighteousness.”

The love message Rev. Angley had referred to was entitled “The Benefits of a Child of God.” Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits (Psalm 103:2). The marvelous benefits available to God’s children are endless, and Rev. Angley expounded on as many as he could that night. You could almost hear a pin drop as Rev. Angley told the people about the abundant Jesus life, the fruits of the Spirit, the love of Heaven, divine faith, unspeakable joy, the mind of Christ, miracles and healings. “You must live a new life with all the benefits Heaven affords,” Rev. Angley declared.

Throughout the message, the Lord continued to deal with people about their souls; and Rev. Angley said, “The Lord has already numbered 102 of you for salvation. If 23 of you don’t get right with God tonight, you will die; and nine of you will die a tragic death.” After praying over the people, the Lord spoke through Rev. Angley saying, “I am here, saith the Lord, to keep my promise to you to save 102 people; but there are more that have now yielded to me that I did not mark today, and I have forgiven them also.”

Rev. Angley ended the service by saying, “The Lord is marking those who will surrender all for special benefits. You can receive everything you need.”

Before Rev. Angley left the service grounds that night, he prayed for a 14-year-old girl who was totally blind. She had undergone three surgeries, but the doctors could not help her. Then God performed masterful surgery and gave her a life-changing miracle when He instantly re-created her eyes.

Our Last Day Arrived

Sunday morning, many of our tour members ministered in the local churches while our associate pastors and the Cathedral Trio held a service for the inmates at a large prison. Close to 100 men gathered in the prison’s chapel to hear the Word of God, and they were just as quiet and reverent as if they had been sitting in one of our crusade services. When the service concluded, the inmates were still hungry for more; and each one received at least four of Rev. Angley’s books to lead them deeper into the ways of the Lord.

Another phenomenally successful week had ended, and we were completely overwhelmed at how the people of Georgetown had opened their arms and hearts to us and to the Word of God…but the foundation of truth had been laid through Rev. Angley’s program, and God had sent us to help the people build upon it.

Throughout the entire two weeks, our tour members had put in many long hours in oppressive heat and humidity; but every drop of sweat was filled with love for the lost, and no one complained. Everyone worked together as one, and all of our hard work had paid off in ways we had never dreamed. People from all walks of life were drawn by the anointing of God; and before the last service began, the Guyanese president’s own bodyguard had gotten saved. Later that night, he also received the Holy Ghost.

Angels Ministered to the People

The Sunday night service was the largest yet, and the crowd on the field overflowed into the grandstands. The Lord introduced Himself at the very beginning saying, I am your Lord; I am your God; I am your Healer; I am your Deliverer. The faith in the invalid section was running high, and Rev. Angley immediately began revealing miracles taking place. “Thus saith the Lord,” he declared, “there is more faith in the invalid section tonight than there has been in any other service. You have come prepared.” The people were believing; and before the night ended, a woman had received a complete miracle for cancer, a crippled young man had begun to walk, and a totally incapacitated 15-year-old girl whose limbs were drawn and crippled had started moving her fingers, her arms and stretching out her legs for the first time. Her mother was overwhelmed with tears of thanksgiving to the Lord.

Sunday was a night of angels; and early in the service, Rev. Angley announced, “There is a cloud of angels here tonight. The Lord gave me the gift of seeing angelic beings just like you see people, and I have never seen so many. I have seen them line up three deep around us, but they are surrounding us tonight; and they have filled up the place. I have never seen anything like it. They are all through this congregation, and they are standing in the aisles.” Just a short while later, the Lord specifically let Rev. Angley know that there was not just one “cloud” of angels but “clouds” of angels. Rev. Angley also announced that the divine pillar of fire he had described the previous weekend had actually come onto the platform for the first time that night.

Rev. Angley was completely overwhelmed by all the Lord was showing him; and he continued, “It is hard to tell how many thousands of angels are here tonight, and they are all dressed in white. Thus saith the Lord, He can do anything here tonight that you will believe Him for. The angels are rejoicing with you.

Then Rev. Angley revealed, “The Lord is sending angels after the devil possessed, and there are 340 people that need to be delivered.” Rev. Angley asked everyone to start repeating, “The blood, the blood, the blood.” Then he turned and addressed those who were devil possessed saying, “The devil doesn’t want you to say ‘the blood’ with us; but if you do, the blood will drop into your soul, and those devils will leave.” The Holy Ghost took him over; and when the Spirit had finished speaking, Rev. Angley declared, “The Holy Ghost is commanding those devils to come out, and they’re fleeing like defeated armies. Thank the Lord for the power of God!

“God is doing a mighty work that is beyond us tonight. Angels are touching you now; can you feel their holy sacredness? Hundreds of you are being made whole of everything! There has never been an hour like you are having here tonight. Angels have come in like people, and they have brought in so much glory that you are in a cloud of perfect glory.”

The Fire of the Holy Ghost

Rev. Angley only travels as God leads him; and he told the people, “I am here by God’s choice. Many of you laypeople have cried out for help, and it is here for you tonight.” Rev. Angley went on to warn them, “You must be sure that your preacher is holy. A pastor is a leader, and he is supposed to go deeper and higher in the Word of God than the people he is leading; but so many preachers are in false doctrine today because they didn’t go on to receive the Holy Ghost.

“You have to have the Holy Ghost to do the will of God. Then the Lord will change your churches, and they will take on new life. For those that don’t, the Lord has already let me know that He will raise up new preachers; and the Lord is calling so many young people tonight. Your nation needs God, and your churches need God. I don’t believe this nation will ever be the same after this crusade!” The next day, the Lord confirmed to Rev. Angley that He had indeed called nearly 400 young people to His work.

As the service continued, Rev. Angley’s message about the worth of the Holy Ghost prepared the people to receive the Divine Teacher they so desperately needed. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:26). “When you get the Holy Ghost,” Rev. Angley explained, “you go into divinity. You go into the power of the gifts and the power of the fruits of the Spirit. Jesus brought divinity for us to use, but many are not using it.

“There has been so much mockery of the Holy Ghost. Some people say you don’t have to speak in tongues; but if you get the real Holy Ghost, He will speak. Some speak in tongues at will and prophesy at will, but I don’t allow that. God told me the discipline of the Holy Ghost would be real strict in this final hour. Pastors, you have to take a stand!”

At the close of the message, Rev. Angley asked everyone to stand as he called the Holy Ghost down upon them. “Praise the Lord with the word ‘glory,’” he told them. “With this great cloud of glory upon you and with the fire of the Holy Ghost here, the Latter Rain is going to be poured out just as the Lord said it would be.” And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh (Acts 2:17).

The Holy Ghost poured down upon that great crowd, and people sought and received the real baptism for over 30 minutes. People everywhere were glorifying the Lord, and our workers were helping others to pray through just as if we were in an old-time Holy Ghost revival. The next day, the Lord told Rev. Angley that well over 600 people had received the baptism that night. Such a remarkable service of pure divinity will assuredly be recorded in Heaven for eternity.

Time to Say Goodbye

Before the crusade came to a final close, the Lord had some parting instructions for those precious people who had yielded their all to God. “The Lord moved on me to tell you to start having morning prayer meetings. Preachers, it will bless your churches for your people to have these meetings. You are anointed for things to change, and the Holy Ghost will make a world of difference.”

Only God knows all that took place during those two weeks in Guyana, but each one of us was so humbled and grateful to have been a part of His plan. As we gathered on Star Triple Seven to prepare for our return home, Rev. Angley joyfully announced, “We had the greatest crusade we have ever had. The Lord told me it was mission more than accomplished, and that is the first time He has used the word ‘more.’”

That trip to Guyana will forever be etched in our memories, and we must allow it to make us even more determined to sacrifice all to win the lost at any cost. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).
