In March 2018, Rev. Angley and a group of 85 volunteers and staff members had an incredible two-week miracle crusade in Soweto, South Africa. Many of the remarkable things the Lord did during the first week of that God-directed journey were detailed in the June 2018 issue of this Holy Ghost magazine. This issue recaps the second incredible week, which was even more astounding than the first.

On Tuesday, our missionaries visited five daycares and two primary schools. At one of the daycares, the director was hard of hearing; and God gave her an instant miracle. Her son stuttered; but after prayer with a blest cloth, he could repeat questions quickly without hesitation. He also had a crippled hand; and at the end of the visit, he proudly carried one of our ladies’ backpacks to the bus.

At a second daycare, staff members received miracles for problems with their feet, eyes and arms; and one woman received the beautiful experience of being slain in the Spirit.

A Miraculous Afternoon

Our missionaries spent the remainder of the day testifying to and praying with people in the Soweto neighborhoods. A man paralyzed on one side from a stroke received prayer with a blest cloth, and both he and his wife were so excited when he was able to move his arm all around and flex his fingers. A woman almost blind in one eye was completely shocked when she could see, and even a policeman received his senses of smell and taste.

A man who was hard of hearing could not stop watching how God was using our workers to minister to people, and he eventually decided that he wanted salvation and good hearing for himself. Another young man recently released from prison was drawn to a small group of our workers distributing literature on a street corner. He told the driver to turn the car around so he could talk to them; and after a brief conversation, he was saved and delivered.

Our people encountered a surprisingly large number of drug addicts in Soweto, but God was moving for them in a miraculous way. One young man was so addicted that he interrupted his conversation with Rev. Millar to run across the street and get a fix. However, God’s anointing was stronger than the devil’s power, and the man returned. Rev. Millar gave him the truth; and he was miraculously saved, delivered and made completely new. Then he went on to seek the Holy Ghost in a nearby field for nearly 30 minutes.

Another drug addict received prayer and was slain in the Spirit, and that attracted a crowd. People had never seen that happen before, and some even thought he was dead; but God took advantage of the situation, and many miracles and deliverances followed. A lady with a hearing aid received good hearing; a little girl received an eye miracle, and a young boy’s severely crossed eyes instantly came to normal.

The addict who had been slain was so amazed by all God was doing that he followed our missionaries for the rest of the afternoon. He had never before seen a miracle or felt God’s love; and he admitted, “I thought God didn’t love me until you came. I’m so different now that my family won’t even know me.”

The Ministers’ Meeting

The Wednesday morning ministers’ meeting gave the local pastors an opportunity to hear a true man of God, and those who gathered were ready to listen. When Rev. Angley walked onto the stage, the gift of miracles went into operation; and immediately, a person who had suffered with an internal condition for five years was made whole. Severe headaches ran in a person’s family, but God put an end to that cycle.

Others received miracles for weak eyes, an inner ear condition and severe throat trouble. “There is nothing great about me,” Rev. Angley declared, “only the God I serve. I live with Him, and He tells me things that will help people. God told me I was His true prophet, and that is so amazing to me—someone who was just a little, country boy from a big family.” Then Rev. Angley began in his childhood and took the pastors on a journey through his life as the Lord molded and made him into His true prophet. Rev. Angley told them about his greatest visitation from the Lord during which he saw people’s crippled limbs become as melted wax and be re-created. Eyes were put into empty eye sockets, and every person received the miracles they needed.

“I was so shocked when the Lord revealed to me years later that it was Him I had walked with during that visitation,” he humbly said. “God told me that I was only the second person ever to see a part of Him—Moses was the first one. I was dumbfounded. He was so big, and the side of my face came up to His right knee; but when we walked, we were not out of step. God said He had marked me for this hour to bring people out of sin and degradation.”

Rev. Angley ended his message by telling the pastors that the Holy Ghost had led him every step of the way and that each one of them would have to receive the Spirit and be led by Him, too. He asked those who wanted the baptism to stand; and when the Holy Ghost fire fell from Heaven, some of them were so ready to receive that they immediately prayed through. That Holy Ghost rally lasted for over 90 minutes, and nearly 75 percent of the people received the real baptism of the Spirit. Surely, Heaven was rejoicing.

That afternoon, one man’s salvation started a domino effect in his neighborhood; and four more people were saved in less than five minutes. Salvation is contagious.

One of our ladies prayed for two deaf boys who both received their hearing. A woman could feel her headache moving out as a blest cloth was rubbed across her forehead. A lady with bad eyes was shocked when, after prayer, she could look down the street and see her little shop in the distance.

A Very Busy Morning

On Thursday, it rained continuously; but that did not stop our missionaries from visiting two clinics, two preschools, three daycares, a primary school, a seniors’ home and a facility for adults with disabilities.

A man at the seniors’ home was paralyzed on his left side from a stroke; but after he said the sinner’s prayer, he felt tingling all the way down his arm. God restored the hearing of a nearly deaf woman at one of the clinics, and a lady with crippling arthritis and pain throughout her body felt all the pain leave after prayer.

A group of our missionaries encountered a neighborhood man whose mind had been completely destroyed from drugs and alcohol. He was running in front of the bus and pretending to shoot it with a toy gun, and he made absolutely no sense when he spoke. After prayer with a blest cloth, our people were shocked to see the Lord totally re-create his mind; and then he gave his heart to the Lord.

Immediately, the young man began interpreting for our workers and leading them to others who needed help. The miracles drew people in, and they started to follow along until it became like a heavenly parade. That amazing afternoon ended with a deaf man instantly receiving his hearing.

The following Sunday morning, that team of workers returned to the same neighborhood to minister at a church; and it was a happy reunion when God brought that young man back across their path. They took the man with them into the church, and his testimony left the congregation speechless.

A Beautiful Tent Service

The heavy rain continued into Thursday evening, but the Lord let Rev. Angley know that the scheduled service would go on. Would anyone dare show up for an outside service in that kind of weather? The answer was yes—those who were hungry for God. The rain had caused extensive flooding, so our usual 75-minute trip to the crusade grounds took nearly 3½ hours; and when we finally arrived, we saw people huddled under their umbrellas patiently waiting. One woman had been wrapped in a blanket and sitting under a tree since mid-afternoon.

The rain was not slowing down, so the Lord directed Rev. Angley to assemble everyone under the crew tent behind the stage; and we all gathered around Rev. Angley just as the people must have gathered around Jesus when He was on Earth. We were wet, muddy and squeezed tightly together; but no one seemed to notice as the Lord moved in and turned that simple tent into a holy sanctuary. The Spirit of the Lord saturated the air like a dense fog, and it brought us together into such one mind and one accord that it seemed the rest of the world didn’t exist for those wondrously divine few hours.

The singers were so close to the people that they could almost touch them, and the anointed music enveloped them. At times, they were ready to fly away; and at other times, tears of thankfulness and humility streamed down their faces.

Miracles in Abundance

When the singing concluded, Rev. Angley stood and said, “God has given me the wonderful nine gifts of the Spirit to bring Heaven down so people can be saved, delivered and filled with the Holy Ghost.” Then those gifts went into operation. Rev. Angley told a person suffering with neuritis, arthritis and a swollen left leg, “When you wake up in the morning, all of that will be gone. God is a good God.” A person received relief from severe back pain, and another person with an incurable disease received deliverance that could only have come from God. The Lord re-created the nervous system of a lady on the verge of a nervous breakdown, and another miracle for bad nerves followed.

A woman with low blood pressure had no energy, but Rev. Angley told her it would be normal in the morning. God revealed that a person had alarming dizzy spells because of a brain tumor. “It’s good-sized, and it’s growing fast,” Rev. Angley frankly said, “but you’re healed! The glory of the Lord is in your vision.”

As the miracle power continued to fall, 29 people received relief from bad headaches; and 39 were healed of nerve trouble. “Miracle power has filled this place!” Rev. Angley declared.

At the end of the service, the power of the Holy Ghost fell; and Rev. Angley stayed until the last seeker prayed through. When that man was filled to the brim, he commented, “I think I could fly.”

Rev. Angley then began talking to the man, and the Lord revealed he was attending a church that was in false doctrine and would have to make an immediate change. The man listened intently and accepted all he was told, and then Rev. Angley revealed that the Lord was calling him to be a minister. “God allowed all this rain to come for His purposes,” Rev. Angley explained, “and you were one of them.” The man was stunned, but God knew what was in him. The LORD looketh on the heart (I Samuel 16:7). That service will live in our hearts for eternity.

A Very Fruitful Friday

On our last weekday in Soweto, our missionaries visited four daycares, two primary schools and a workshop for adults with disabilities. A three-year-old boy in one of the daycares was mute, but he shocked the staff members when he began to speak. Surprisingly, he would only respond in English, even when he was addressed in his native tongue.

The visit at one of the primary schools was in question because the unprecedented rain had caused flooding, and some of the children could not get there; but on the way to the school, the weather suddenly cleared and the sun came out. God was in control, and the principal gathered the children outside for a short service.

In the neighborhoods, a lady received prayer for a lump in her breast, and it instantly disappeared. A woman was stunned when she received hearing in her deaf ear and good sight in her weak eye, and two ladies with asthma had no more breathing problems. A young deaf boy was made whole, and a little boy who had never spoken said his first words.

A man with back pain was so excited to be able to bend over, and a relative with painful swelling in her leg walked down the street without any pain praising God. A lady who had received a miracle for high blood pressure the previous day brought a friend with the same problem to our people for prayer. A woman with very blurry vision was extremely thankful when she took off her glasses and had good sight.

A Miracle Night

As Rev. Angley addressed our staff and volunteers before the Friday night service, he gave us a stunning revelation when he said that the blest cloth represents not only the gifts of miracles and healings but all nine gifts of the Spirit. That opened up a brand-new channel through which our faith could work, and our view of the blest cloth will never be the same.

When Rev. Angley stepped onto the stage, he said with great reverence, “Be still and know that He is God. The gifts are now in operation, saith the God of Heaven.” Then God revealed that two people were healed of arthritis, and another received a miracle for painful feet and legs. A man had burning in his chest from a weak lung; but Rev. Angley declared, “God is re-creating it!”

A lady had suffered with a female condition since the birth of her first child, but God corrected everything. Two people received re-creations for their nerves; and Rev. Angley joyfully announced, “Now, you will sleep well!”

Nine people received a miracle for internal complications, and 20 people were delivered from arthritis and rheumatism. Rev. Angley revealed to 15 people who were greatly burdened, “The devil has sent demons to aggravate you night and day; but now, it will be absolutely different.”

Perfect Obedience

The miracles prepared the people’s minds for that night’s sermon, There Is Nothing like Perfect Obedience. “There is no other way to walk with God than with perfect obedience,” Rev. Angley began. “Jesus said, If ye love me, keep my commandments (John 14:15).

“Many people may claim to follow Jesus, but they do not obey Him. Jesus said, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven (Matthew 7:21). For I do always those things that please him (John 8:29). Jesus always pleased the Father, and He is our example. We must be like Him.

“Jesus was obedient to the death on the Cross,” Rev. Angley continued. “Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him (Hebrews 5:8,9). Only through obedience can we attain salvation and keep it.

“Do you go your own way when the Lord asks you to do something?” Rev. Angley asked. “God told Jonah,Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD (Jonah 1:2,3). Jonah disobeyed, and he ended up in the belly of a whale for three days. There are consequences for disobeying God.

“When the chief priests commanded Peter and the apostles not to preach the Gospel of Christ, they said, We ought to obey God rather than men (Acts 5:29). Who do you obey? Paul said, Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness (Romans 6:16)?”

That message gave the people much to think about; and when it ended, the Lord gave them another opportunity to receive the baptism in the Holy Ghost. As our workers were helping people seek, miracles were taking place in the invalid section. A lady who had suffered a stroke could lift her arm. A woman with severe diabetes was in a wheelchair, but she got out of that chair and began taking steps; and the pain in her hands disappeared.

One of our young men who had been delivered of drugs had testified to a heroin addict on Wednesday and invited him to a service. For two days, God kept telling that young man to go see that missionary again; so the young man walked nearly two hours to get to the Friday service. When Rev. Angley prayed for him, God set him free of 199 devils. Only the power of God can do that!

Final Opportunities

Saturday morning, Rev. Millar was working in one of the neighborhoods with a devoted pastor from Kenya who had traveled to be with us for the crusade; and the Lord led them to a house where two sisters had just lost their mother during the night. That was undoubtedly a divine appointment, and both of the women were saved and made ready to meet the Lord when He comes or calls.

In another area, a lady with a broken hip gave her heart to the Lord and then picked up her cane and walked away praising God. A young girl with lung trouble was able to breathe deeply after prayer with a blest cloth. A young boy was blind and had a drooping eye, but God made him whole. A little girl received hearing in her deaf ear, and her sore throat disappeared.

A very honest-hearted mother confessed to being a drinker for years, and she was delivered that morning. Then she suddenly became very sick, but that was the devil; and when our workers rebuked him in the name of the Lord, she was fine. She quickly gathered all of her children to receive prayer and salvation, and that family was completely changed.

One of our teams conducted a street-corner Sunday school service with the neighborhood children. Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God (Mark 10:14). A 12-year-old girl who had just picked up her birthday cake from the store stopped by and received Jesus for her birthday.

Adults had stopped to listen to the simple message and receive prayer as well, and a woman’s severe headache miraculously disappeared. A lady was shocked when she was able to begin walking without her crutches and to freely move her crippled hand, and a woman with a stiff, sore shoulder was all smiles when she realized she was healed. One man was so drunk that he could hardly stand; but God immediately sobered him up, and he gave his heart to the Lord.

Let Jesus In

Saturday evening, Rev. Angley was anxious to preach his sermon, The Message Was at the Gate; and after a few opening songs, he began with the story of Lazarus and the rich man. “Lazarus was a lowly beggar who sat outside the rich man’s gate with a message of truth, but the rich man never opened the gate to him. How many times has the message of truth been at your gate, but you never opened to it?” Rev. Angley asked. “Maybe you didn’t like the messenger, or you thought you didn’t need the message.

“It is easy to become self-centered and consumed with life; but the Bible says, For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away (James 4:14). When the rich man suddenly died, he found out just how quickly that vapor can vanish; and then he wanted Lazarus to come to his aid.

And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame (Luke 16:23,24). Suddenly, the rich man had become the beggar, and Abraham let him know that the gate between him and Lazarus could never be opened.

“The preaching of the Cross is the message people need to hear,” Rev. Angley emphatically stated, “and God ordains people to carry His message of truth. Jesus said to the disciples, Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain (John 15:16).

“Stephen brought a message of power and great wonders to the people, but some rebelled against the messenger rather than responding to the truth. And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council (Acts 6:12). Stephen did not back down, so the people stoned him; and he died just as Jesus did saying, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep (Acts 7:60).”

Rev. Angley continued with another chosen messenger. “The Apostle Paul took the message of truth to King Agrippa’s gate, but the king gave him a sad and dangerous reply: Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian (Acts 26:28). ‘Almost’ did not open the gate to his heart and let Jesus in; and Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am (Acts 26:29).

“Today, the message is at your gate,” Rev. Angley firmly declared. “Will you hear the message and open the gate? The choice is yours tonight; but choose wisely because one day, the message will no longer be at your gate. Thus saith the Lord, I am here. I have come, and I hold you in my arms. I give you power from Heaven.”

Testimony Night

Rev. Angley then treated the audience to a special testimony time, and people gave witness to marvelous things God had done for them. A lady testified that she had called the prayer line before a job interview, and she got the job. She called the prayer line at another time when a vein burst in her eye, and she was healed from that, too.

A woman told of how she was assaulted by four men while on her way to town and put in a car. She was wearing a blest cloth and immediately started pleading the blood of Jesus. Before long, they suddenly stopped the car and let her out without even taking her cell phone. He [God] is a shield unto them that put their trust in him (Proverbs 30:5).

That same woman’s neighbor had cracked and bleeding feet; so one day when she was watching the Ernest Angley Hour on television, she invited her neighbor to come and watch the healing line. The neighbor put her feet on the TV when Rev. Angley prayed at the end of the broadcast, and she felt such a shock that she almost fell down. Her feet were healed.

A man testified to receiving a miracle for his left lung during the previous night’s crusade service; and he happily declared, “I can breathe!” A young mother told of how her baby girl had been in and out of the hospital for months, but doctors could not find out what was wrong. Then someone gave her a blest cloth, and her daughter received a complete miracle.

A college student testified to receiving the Holy Ghost through the ministry’s online worship center. A young lady had written and asked Rev. Angley for prayer, and she got a job. Her mother needed a hip replacement, but God took care of everything through the blest cloth. The Bible says, The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble (Psalm 41:1).

As the service ended and people were tarrying for the Holy Ghost, God’s miracle power was moving in the invalid section. A lady received a miracle for cataracts and arthritis, and a man felt instant relief from the pain in his stomach. A pastor easily bent forwards and side-to-side as he tested his back miracle, and a woman was all excited when she discovered that the pains in her spine and ribs were gone.

Backstage, a security guard became a new man when he received miracles for his back, his eyes and his heart. Two drug addicts passing by the crusade grounds that night heard one of our men testifying onstage about his deliverance from drugs, and it drew them in. One of them was bound with 91 devils, but Rev. Angley prayed for them backstage; and God delivered them both.

Our Last Day

Sunday morning, teams of our missionaries again went to some of the local churches; and they returned with incredible reports. Three of our singers went to the church of a Spirit-filled evangelist, and the morning began with a short service for five of her parishioners. Next, they traveled around the neighborhood having short, outdoor miracle services, and several deaf people received their hearing. Also, a woman’s lung congestion disappeared, and many drug addicts were saved and delivered.

As people followed along and testified to what they had received, the services grew. When they finally returned to the pastor’s church, it was completely full; and they had an amazing salvation, healing and Holy Ghost time. Afterward, our workers were able to testify to and pray with several groups of teenagers who were delivered from drugs and alcohol. That morning alone was worth the whole trip.

Learning God’s Grace

Sunday evening, Rev. Angley began the last service by crossing the stage crying, “Je-e-e-e-e-sus! Je-e-e-e-e-sus!” Immediately, people were healed of cancer, diabetes, internal complications and more. Then mass miracles took place—28 for breathing difficulties, 15 for arthritis, 10 for low blood pressure, 21 for high blood pressure, 16 for nightmares, 10 for nervous breakdowns and many more for other types of nervous conditions.

Rev. Angley’s final message of that crusade was God’s Grace Is Sufficient for the Bride. The true Christian life is not always easy; but Rev. Angley reassured the people, “There is no need for members of the Bride of Christ to dread this hour or walk in fear. God’s power is stronger than all the powers of the devil.

“No one suffered more for the sake of Christ than Paul did, but he never complained. The Lord told him, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me (II Corinthians 12:9). Paul is a shining example of how to live the Christian life.

“Paul’s trials were difficult, but he leaned on God’s love and grace and didn’t spare himself. Therefore I [Paul] take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong (II Corinthians 12:10). You can’t spare yourself either.”

Rev. Angley emphasized that children of God can’t run away from adversity and receive God’s blessings. “You will have trials and persecutions in this life, but they should cause you to cling to the Old Rugged Cross with greater determination and strength. Draw on the Lord for all the power you need knowing that God’s grace is sufficient.”

God directed Rev. Angley to tell the people about all the persecutions he endured while establishing this Jesus worldwide outreach ministry. Through them all, he never said no to God; and that really touched their hearts.

Rev. Angley ended the message by pointing out that only through Holy Ghost power will anyone be able to overcome all the things the devil is bringing against the Bride. And after the healing line, the Spirit poured down on the people one last time; and many received the glorious baptism. Those who did not receive that night had learned how to tarry for Him until they do receive.

Divinity Changes Lives

Throughout the crusade, we were blessed to watch a miracle in the making. During the first week, a group of our missionaries had encountered a young lady with AIDS just a very short distance from the service grounds. She was so weak that she could hardly stand, let alone walk; but God marked her.

A few of our men carried her to the services the first weekend; and little by little, she started getting stronger. No matter how she felt, she would use all the strength she had to stay and seek for the Holy Ghost each night; and God honored her determination.

That young lady had not walked in six months; but after the first weekend, she amazed her family when she began doing some laundry and light house cleaning. The last Sunday night, she walked to the service on her own. Hallelujah! We hated to leave her; but we knew that if she stayed true, God would make her a great witness for Him.

Backstage that night, a little blind and deaf girl received her miracle; and a lady with back problems was instantly healed. A bus driver had a very painful foot that made it hard for him to work, but the pain disappeared. A young lady with a cloudy eye could see much clearer, and God gave good sight to a woman with cataracts.

Rev. Angley loved those beautiful people, and he did not want to leave any of them without the miracles they needed. During the services, they were quiet, respectful and honored God. They were not just curiosity seekers; they had come to be filled with the fullness of God, and He poured Himself out to them. We left our hearts with them, and our prayers will always be for them.

Success for the Lord

Throughout our trip, we stood in awe of God’s saving, delivering and healing power and the miraculous works of the Holy Ghost. God said that His power would get stronger and stronger in the last hour, and we watched in amazement as that took place in new and exciting ways. God’s anointing covered people like a thick blanket wherever we went, and they commented again and again how strange and different they felt just being in the presence of our workers.

When we boarded Star Triple Seven for our flight home, Rev. Angley was gushing with praise for God’s dedicated workers. “It has been a joy having you on this trip,” he announced, “and we won. The rain came [all day Thursday], but God let me know it was for a purpose; and we wanted everything to be His way. We are successful because we know the way of the Lord is perfect. Good things are ahead of us, so never look back. Just say, ‘Lead on, Holy Ghost. Lead on.’

Thus saith the Lord, I am pleased. I brought you together for such an hour as this. You are precious in my sight. You are mine, and I am yours.” God’s approval was all the reward we needed, and His words of divine love gave us overwhelming peace and joy in the depths of our souls.
