Today I’m touching on one of the greatest hindrances in receiving healing that I know of among God’s people. If you can get this hindrance out of the way, conquer this one thing, you can have a miracle. Some of you don’t really have the understanding of this statement: If it be thy will.

People who are truly born again believe it’s the will of God for Him to save everyone. How strange that some don’t believe it is God’s will to heal everyone. Lord, if it be your will, heal me, they pray. They’re defeated when they say that. Doubting whether healing is God’s will for them is not the kind of faith they need for divine healing.

We all have to die, unless we’re taken in the Rapture first, but haven’t you noticed that the Lord never said one time we had to die with a disease? Christ is our example and He was never sick. I think that’s marvelous!

Healed of Leprosy

Matthew 8:2, Behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. Lord, if it be thy will, do it. This man didn’t have the written Word, but we have the written Word so we have no reason to doubt God’s willingness to heal. An outcast of society, the leper, no doubt, had flesh falling from his bones. In that day it was the law that lepers wore a bell around the neck, and that bell had to be working so people hearing it could flee. If someone got too near, the leper had to cry out in warning or the leper could be put to death.

Had Christ been an ordinary man, He most likely would have run from this leper. But Jesus was far from ordinary, and He didn’t run. The leper came to Him, got close enough to talk. Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed (Matthew 8:3). This incident is in the Bible for a purpose. The immediate miracle shows the will of God. If the healing of the leper were the only scripture you had to depend on, you could trust it for your miracle today. But there are many more. I have too limited a space to give you all the scriptures that prove divine healing is God’s will, but I will give you some. Search out the rest in the Word of God for yourself; they are there.

God Wants You to Prosper

Third John 1:2, Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. The Lord wants you to be in good health even as your soul prospereth; in other words, God wants you to have sound physical health just as much as He wants you to have sound spiritual health. As much as He wants you saved, He wants you healed. The Bible tells us the bodies of the born again are the temple of the Holy Ghost. Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you (I Corinthians 6:19)? Why should we ever dare ask if healing is God’s will? Jesus gave His life for healing as well as for salvation.

Child of God, settle once and forevermore that it is God’s will for you to be healed, but it’s the devil’s will for you to stay sick. You want God’s will, don’t you? Some of you are confused about healing, and it gives the devil a chance to rob you. If you are doubting God’s will to heal you, that means you either don’t really know the scriptures or else you’re not believing them. You can believe God’s Word for someone else, but you can’t believe it for yourself.

If you are saved, you believed for your salvation although you never have seen your soul. Even though you have never seen your soul, yet you believe you have one. Why believe that Jesus went to Calvary to save your soul, but not believe He shed His blood for your physical healing?

A Twofold Atonement

The Bible that tells you Jesus shed His blood to forgive you of your sins also states that He shed His blood for your physical healing. He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus is our sickness bearer as well as our sin bearer. It’s a twofold atonement; why don’t you accept it that way? Why don’t you take the Word of God as it has been spoken, as it has been given? Believe it all and receive it all. With the blood of Jesus we have salvation and physical healing.

Psalm 103:2,3, Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases. This is the twofold atonement recognized in the opening of Psalm 103. The Lord forgives all your sins; but He doesn’t stop there, He also heals all your diseases. The Lord healeth, the Lord saves; He heals the soul; He heals the body, I say again. What a Jesus!

Jesus said, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23). Every word in the English language that ends with eth means to continue on and on, to never end. You not only have to believe, but you must keep on believing.

Arthritis Healed

Luke 13:11-13, Behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. Jesus came upon this woman who had what we would call arthritis. She couldn’t raise herself up, not for one year or two years; the Bible definitely states that for eighteen years she was in that condition. Jesus called the affliction the woman had devil bondage. Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day (Luke 13:16)? Satan had bound this woman, Jesus said. It was the devil’s bondage, not God’s.

Many people would have believed that it was the will of God for her to be bent over like that. But I ask you, what glory does the Lord get out of people being bent over? The Lord gets the glory when the person straightens up, healed by His hand. God didn’t get any glory out of my being sick; my sickness didn’t glorify His name. He got all the glory when He made me well, and He is still getting all the glory for that miracle.

The Dead Raised

There was no glory in Lazarus’ death; the glory came when he was resurrected, when Jesus called him from the dead and made him well. Did anyone but Jesus believe it was God’s will to raise Lazarus? The sisters believed he would be raised on that day when the righteous will be resurrected; then they discovered it was the will of the Lord for Lazarus to be resurrected that very day. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go (John 11:39-44). Although Lazarus had been dead four days, it mattered not; nothing is impossible with God.

When you’re dealing with God in a direct way, that’s all that matters; God will do it. He has given you working faith—Heaven’s faith used in creating heaven and the earth—so what more do you want? What are you waiting for? Why should you doubt such wonderful, marvelous faith?

Every Good Gift Is from God

Although I was so very ill at twenty-three years of age, I knew it was God’s will to heal everyone. My big question was not if healing were God’s will, but why God didn’t heal me. Why did He start preaching through me when I was eighteen only to let me die at twenty-three? My condition was growing worse; more and more afflictions and diseases began taking me over. I’d die deaths with the pain; I couldn’t live, and I couldn’t die. Not wanting to die, I fought that monster of death.

I knew God was not the one who had afflicted me. I recognized the fact that my sickness came from the devil. The Bible says, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17). All good and perfect gifts come from Heaven, and I knew sickness, disease and afflictions certainly were not perfect gifts. I say again, I knew the Lord hadn’t afflicted me, but I knew it would take God to make me well.

Although the doctors could tell me what was wrong, they couldn’t cure me. I especially appreciated one nurse who had been so kind, ready to help me in every way. It seemed she could feel my pain—and I was in excruciating pain. Then suddenly Jesus came, and it was all over with; the miracle had taken place for me as it had for the woman crippled with arthritis whom Jesus healed. Suddenly she was standing straight, and suddenly I was made whole.

My ordeal taught me how to battle death for you and yours, how to hold on to God knowing it’s His will to heal you. Jesus didn’t stop healing after He ascended into Heaven; He is still performing great miracles today. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8).

The Lord is here today to destroy the works of the devil. The Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (I John 3:8). He’s here to destroy that affliction, that bondage you have; how long you have had it doesn’t make any difference. Stop saying, Lord, if my healing be your will. What glory would He get out of your suffering? Jesus suffered so you wouldn’t have to suffer.

Jesus, the manifestation of God and the will of God in the flesh, brought the will of the Father to us, the will of Heaven. Jesus came; the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14).

Everything Jesus did pleased God, everything. He was the perfect one, the perfect man, perfect like Adam before he fell. Here at last after thousands of years was another perfect man.

He Is the Lord that Healeth Thee

Exodus 15:26, God said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. Healing was so much the will of God that He said, I am the LORD that healeth thee. The Lord made a covenant with the Israelite people, but it was conditioned on their keeping His commandments.

The Lord, in bringing the Israelites out of great bondage, healed them all. He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes (Psalm 105:37). The Psalmist said there wasn’t a weak one among them; the two or three million people who came out of Egypt were all delivered.

The Word is speaking today: I am the Lord that healeth thee. Let the Word speak to you; let it become a part of your spirit and bring good health to your body like it did to mine.

The Lord Will Take Away Sickness

Exodus 23:25, I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. The Lord said He would take sickness away from your midst; He will keep sickness away from your door. Is that possible? Jesus proved it was possible. He showed man and woman that sickness could be kept away. We believe in good doctors, good hospitals, good medicines, but we believe that Jesus is the healer. Man can perform surgery, but he can’t heal; neither can the devil heal. Only God can heal; only Heaven can heal: Keep this in mind always. Deuteronomy 7:15, The LORD will take away from thee all sickness.

Claim His Promise of Protection

Psalm 91:10, There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. This is your promise of protection. The Lord said that in the last days men’s hearts would fail them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth (Luke 21:26). In this final hour, there will be many people whose hearts will fail them out of pure fear because of all the calamities coming upon the earth. The Lord warned of them, but God’s people are not to have that kind of fear that destroys the body, the kind of fear that takes away life. We have found the life-giver and we live by the promises of God. We know that we’re going to be all right because our future is just as sure as the promises of God.

Meet the Condition of the Promise

You can have your miracle today. Maybe you’re one who has been wondering if it is the will of God to heal you of AIDS, diabetes, cancer, paralysis or leprosy. The answer is yes, yes, a million times yes; but you have to live for God, have to meet the condition of each promise for the Lord to deliver you, to set you free.

The Bible tells us in Psalm 107:20, He sent his word, and healed them. Jesus, the Word made flesh, was sent by the Father. Everywhere Jesus went He was either on His way to heal someone or else coming back from healing someone. Search Him out, take a look; His footsteps are measured in the four Gospels. Retrace them again and again. On your knees would be a good place to retrace them. Find out that the Word really did heal the people.

Malachi 4:2, But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun [Son] of righteousness arise with healing in his wings. To fear His name means to respect it, honor it and love it. You have the promise that the Son of righteousness will arise with healing in His wings. Under those wings you have refuge: salvation for your soul and healing for your body if you respect His name, believe in His name.

Salvation in the Name of Jesus

There is no other name under Heaven given among men whereby you can be saved other than the name of Jesus. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

I speak the name of Jesus, and that name brings all power over the devil-possessed to deliver their souls, all power over diseases and afflictions of every kind. The great blood power in the name of Jesus, Bible power, is for you to use.

A Life for a Look

It’s still life for a look, and we’re pointing people to Jesus all over the world. People with AIDS, I point to Jesus. If they will look, they can be cured through the divine blood that was shed on Calvary. The price has been paid. When they will accept it, when they promise God they will really serve Him, they can be healed of AIDS or of any other death disease.

It’s wonderful that people all over the world are being healed of AIDS through this Jesus ministry. Science has not found the cure for AIDS; in fact, they don’t seem to be close to the cure, but God has the cure and He’s proving it everywhere I go. Letters keep flowing in from the nations telling how they’ve been back to their doctors and their healings are medically verified: no more AIDS. People write me to say, My doctor doesn’t understand. No, some doctors don’t understand; they don’t realize that God will do such a thing. But I understand, and some of you understand because we’re believers. Jesus said, These signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18).

Since diseases and afflictions come from the devil, why not send them back where they came from? The devil can’t legally afflict you, Child of God, with sicknesses and diseases because Christ paid the price for you to have good health. It’s bought and paid for; why not accept it?

Don’t be discouraged if you haven’t been able to believe what I’m telling you. Maybe you can’t imagine it is God’s will to heal you. You have been afflicted so long, why would God heal you? you wonder. I’ll tell you why: for His honor and His glory. Let that make music in your soul; let Him use that on you and it will work.

There’s nothing to compare to the Word of the living God—how powerful it is! The Word can drive all sin out of your heart, drive all sickness, disease and afflictions from your body; but you must accept it as the true Word of the living God. Accept it just like people accepted Jesus when He walked among them. The woman who was bent over with arthritis and couldn’t raise up accepted Jesus.

When Accepted, the Word Goes into Action

A certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked (John 5:5-9). The man by the pool who had not walked for thirty-eight years accepted what Jesus said and went into action: He took up his bed and walked. He was made whole.

You must obey the Word, the spoken Word, the written Word. When you obey the spoken Word, miracles happen. When you obey the written Word, deliverance comes.

A Type and Shadow of Calvary’s Atonement

The types and shadows in the Old Testament are a miraculous study that can help you. Numbers 21:5-7, And the [Israelite] people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. The Israelites had failed, dishonored God; and because of it, they, bitten by fiery serpents, were dying by the thousands. It was a dreadful sight. But there was forgiveness. And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived (Numbers 21:8,9). The serpent of brass hanging on a tree was a type of Christ cursed on Calvary.

John 3:14, And as Moses lifted up the serpent [of brass] in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up. Some people say that the serpent doesn’t mean Christ, that He wouldn’t be represented by a snake. Yes, in the awful condition of the curse that He took for you and me, the curse of sin, yes, a thousand times yes. There hanging on the Cross, and it was life for a look.

Everyone that looketh on that serpent of brass, the Lord said would live; but they had to keep on looking. Those who looked away to their swollen limbs or the swollen limbs of others didn’t live. But those who kept their eyes on the serpent, the type of Christ, got their miracle. One day it was Jesus on the Cross, not a type or shadow, but the reality of that terrible death for you and for me. He took our sins; He took our sicknesses, and how wonderful that He did! We look to Him in faith believing and have deliverance for soul, mind and body. But what a cost for Heaven!

Since the types and the shadows of Jesus healed people in Old Testament days, imagine how much more the real person, Jesus, will heal people today. We are healed through the blood of Jesus; divine healing, divine blood heals.

The Scarlet Thread

It’s wonderful to know that a type, a shadow was so powerful! A type of the blood saved the harlot Rahab and her whole house. And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot’s house, named Rahab, and lodged there. And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country. And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country. And the woman took the two men, and hid them (Joshua 2:1-4).

Rahab knew Jericho would soon be attacked and taken by Israel. She protected the spies, asking that the lives of herself and her family be spared, and Rahab also requested a true token of the real thing, something she could depend upon to save her and her household. A scarlet rope was going to save her. The scarlet rope that you lower us down by, the spies told her, hang over the wall. When we attack, those who see the scarlet rope will pass over you; we guarantee it. Nothing to protect her but a scarlet rope…Rahab put her trust in it.

We have nothing to protect us but the scarlet rope of the blood of Jesus. There is nothing like the divine blood of Jesus! Nothing will protect you from the powers of darkness, nothing will wash away your sins but the blood of Jesus. Rahab, I repeat, put all her trust, all her faith in a scarlet rope; and you must put your trust in the real thing, the blood of Jesus, before it can cleanse you from all your sins. There is no life outside the blood.

By Rahab’s using the red cord to let the spies escape down the wall she saved their lives. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window (Joshua 2:21). When Israel came against the city, the walls fell down flat except for the place her house was situated on. Have you ever thought about that? That was the only part of the wall left standing; all the rest came crashing down at one time. And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father’s household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho (Joshua 6:25). That’s what faith will do.

In the book of Hebrews, Rahab is mentioned among the faithful. By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace (Hebrews 11:31). How wonderful indeed!

God Healed Them All

Psalm 105:37, He brought them [the Israelites] forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes. This is speaking of the Israelites’ deliverance from Egypt. God brought them all out. It’s been calculated that the distance they crossed through the Red Sea was twelve miles. In order for them to walk that far, they had to be in fine physical shape. If you were afflicted in body, do you think you could walk twelve miles? That surely was an awesome walk; the water was banked up on each side like mountains, and the people didn’t know when it was going to close in. They must have been rushing, pushing, crying, Go on, get out of here. If you drop something, leave it; keep moving. Don’t block the way. Let’s go!

Every Sickness, Every Disease Healed

Jesus said in the temple, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind (Luke 4:18). Isn’t that wonderful!

Matthew 9:35, Jesus went about…healing every sickness and every disease among the people. Jesus didn’t go about healing all manner of people, only all manner of sickness and disease. God doesn’t promise to heal people who won’t serve Him. Healing, Jesus said, is the children’s bread. It’s on the table every day, and you can have the whole loaf. Why ask for a few crumbs? Ask, and ye shall receive (John 16:24).

Some of you have only a few crumbs, and you wonder why. It’s because that was all you asked for. You may say, Lord, if it’s not your will to heal me, just take away the pain. But while He’s taking away the pain, why not let Him take away the disease? Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord (Isaiah 1:18). All too often we let our thinking hinder the Lord, and we must not do that.

Acts 10:38 tells us how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Notice this: Everyone oppressed of the devil could be cured; sickness is devil oppression. You’re God’s property and you don’t have to stay sick; you can be well. Born-again, you will go to Heaven one of these days, but you don’t have to die with sickness or disease.

Jacob Leaned on His Staff

I read in the Word where one old saint of God just leaned over on his staff and went home to be with the Lord. By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff (Hebrews 11:21). Isn’t that a good way to go? But if we hear of someone dying suddenly, about the first thing we ask is,

“What did he die with?”

“I don’t know. They performed two autopsies and couldn’t find it.”

“What a shame!”

The Lord didn’t say you had to die with anything; you can’t find it in the Word of God. The Bible just says, It is appointed unto men once to die (Hebrews 9:27). Everyone has that appointment, the Bible says; but it doesn’t say you have to die with sickness or disease, so you need not ask God what you’re going to die with. Just know you’re going to die—unless you make the Rapture. What does it matter what you die with anyway? You’ll hear people say, “Oh, that child of God died so suddenly.” Well, why not? They didn’t need time to get ready; they were already ready. Are you ready? If not, shame on you. You can’t depend on being able to get ready at the last moment; you may be too sick to pray.

Blindness Healed

Matthew 12:22, Then was brought unto him [Jesus] one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw. The Lord is doing the same things today. The blind get their sight in these services, and the deaf and dumb hear and speak.

Lord, if it be your will, you can heal me. Don’t ever say that again, Child of God. The Bible tells us we’re to know the will of God. Don’t rest until you learn what the will of God is for you; the Bible tells you what it is. Jesus came to bring us the will of the Father. Whatever Jesus taught, whatever He said is the Father’s will. It’s the will of the Lord for you to be in good health. The best insurance policy you can get is the Holy Bible if you will let it insure you, and if you listen to it. Check your policy daily for Heaven: Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith (II Corinthians 13:5).

The Soul That Sinneth Shall Die

I say again, learn what the will of God is. To know the will of God is a must for your salvation and for your healing. Some people think that nothing can deliver you from your sins, that everyone has to sin. No, that’s a lie of the devil. The Bible tells us, He that committeth sin is of the devil (I John 3:8). The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:4). And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die (Genesis 2:16,17). The soul that sinneth shall die, not live. Just as people don’t believe they can be free from sin, they don’t believe they can be free from sickness; but they can be free from both through the blood of Jesus.

Strength in Old Age

It’s marvelous the health the Lord has given to me. I enjoy wonderful health, but some of you are old at twenty-five with more grunts than an eighty-five-year-old. Do you remember Caleb, one of the two spies who came back from Canaan with a good report? Do you remember how old he was when the Israelites went into Canaan? He was eighty-five years old, and he said he was just as healthy then as he had been forty-five years ago when he spied out the land. Behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old. As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in (Joshua 14:10,11).

If that had been some of you, you would have said, “You know, I’m getting old.” The Lord said He would renew your youth. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:2,5). They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). Some people are looking for the fountain of youth, but the Lord said He would renew your youth. I tell people that the Lord will renew their youth, and they don’t believe it, even Christians. Oh, if we could believe the whole Book, it would be wonderful what the Lord could do in this last, final hour. If everyone who is saved, if every true child of God would reap the full benefits of God’s Holy Bible, what witnesses they would be! Many who are now resisting God couldn’t resist such testimonies.

Don’t Doubt God’s Will for You

Lord, if it be your will…I believe in good doctors, understand this; but tell me why when you’re sick you may not consider it is the will of the Lord to get you well? You may not even consider divine healing; you just head out for the doctor. You wouldn’t go into a doctor’s office and say, “Doctor, if it’s God’s will, I want you to give me something to help me, something that will cure me. Doctor, I don’t want to get well unless it’s the will of God.” That would be ridiculous. Yet when you come to the promises of God, do you say, “Lord, if it be your will; Lord, I hope I’m not asking too much”? Isn’t that a shame and disgrace since your Father is rich and you’re an heir?

People will come into the healing line telling me they need a miracle; but Daddy needs a miracle, Mother needs a miracle, and they’d rather the Lord move for them. They know such a little bit about God that they make it look as though were God to heal the whole family, surely Heaven would be in bankruptcy. That’s the way some of you talk, and how awful to talk like that! Reason with the Lord and talk the things of God. Talk the Word of God and let God move for you. He will help you if you don’t doubt His will.

When you went to the altar, you didn’t say, “If it be thy will, Lord, forgive me of my sins.” You said, “Lord, I know you will forgive me; you said so.” The Lord also said He will give physical healing. Come to the Lord saying, “I know you will heal me, Lord, because you said so.”

The Lord didn’t promise to forgive you of your sins if they weren’t too bad. He didn’t say that at all, and He didn’t promise to heal your sickness if it wasn’t too bad. He said He was the one who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases (Psalm 103:3). That’s what He said, and that’s what He means. Will you rise up and claim it all?

What if you had come to one of my services to be saved and people gathered all around you praying, Lord, save this person if it be your will. You would know immediately that something was wrong. But if people said that to some of you who are sick and afflicted, you’d reply, That’s right; I don’t know whether it’s God’s will to heal me or not. You’d feel all right about all of us saying, Lord, if it be thy will.

Have you ever heard me say, Lord, if it be thy will, heal this person? Wouldn’t that be a pathetic way for me to represent Jesus Christ, represent the ministry of the healing Jesus? The Bible says, Whosoever will, let him come. Whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely (Revelation 22:17). For everyone who looketh, there’s life, life for a look. It’s time to use the Word of God.

Salvation and Healing Prayer

You who don’t have Jesus in your heart or who are unsure of your salvation, pray the sinners’ prayer with me: Oh, God, save my soul. Forgive me of my sins. I’m so sorry I sinned against you, but I have come home and I’m going to serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. I believe, oh, I do believe that the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in, Jesus!

If you have accepted the Lord into your heart, now you can say, Hallelujah, He has come! Hallelujah, Jesus is mine! I am saved!

Do you believe it’s God’s will to heal you? Yes? I believe it’s God’s will to heal you, too. God gets no glory out of your grunts. I grunted a lot, I will confess, when I was twenty-three and so very ill. I suffered death, I say again; but when that stopped, God had the glory. Suddenly there were no more grunts, no more sighs; it was all glory to Him.

God still gets the glory after all these years. It’s wonderful to be able to lie down, look to Heaven and say, God, I thank you that I don’t have a pain in my body! It’s wonderful to be free when you had been tortured the way I was. But in that torture chamber I learned the compassion of Jesus; I learned why He had come, and that He had come not only for the soul, but also for the body. I will never doubt His healing power. When He came that night to heal me, I thought I had only a few more days to live. Then suddenly the suffering was all over; His power swept through me driving every disease, every affliction out of me just as His power had saved me when I was eighteen. God is a good God!

I have given you plenty of scriptures of thus saith the Lord for you to believe that it is God’s will for you to be healed—that is, if you will serve Him, but you have to serve Him. Jesus healed a man who had been crippled for thirty-eight years, but when He saw him later He said, Sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee (John 5:14). What a warning!

You who are sick and afflicted: Decide you’re going to get your miracle. I am not the healer; Jesus is the healer. These gifts in my life are supernatural gifts operated by the Holy Spirit. I come with divine blood, that divine blood name, Jesus.

You may have AIDS, leprosy, cancer in the last stages, or heart trouble. You may need a triple bypass, but it doesn’t matter; you can be made whole like others have been. Are you ready? Lord, here they are. I bring them to you. I bring those with death diseases, Lord, AIDS and other diseases that man has not been able to conquer. Heal! in the blood name. Heal! in the all-powerful, divine blood name of Jesus.

The healing power is flowing. Let it flow all through you. There’s healing for the body just as there is for the soul. Decide it’s done; watch yourself get well, and then write and tell me about it. Never forget that it is the will of God for you to be healed. Nothing is impossible with God. Be careful to give Him all the glory, always. God bless you is my prayer.
