There is no greater calling on Earth than to be a yielded servant of the Lord, but everybody will not yield to that calling. Are you a servant of the Lord or a servant to people? Where is your heart?

You do not have to be a preacher or a teacher to be a servant of the Lord; even a child can be the Lord’s servant just as young Samuel was. The Bible tells us that Samuel ministered before the LORD, being a child (I Samuel 2:18). Samuel was so young, but the Lord talked to him. And the LORD came, and stood, and called…Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth (I Samuel 3:10). The Lord continued to talk to Samuel all the days of his life, and he became a great prophet of God.

As a young shepherd, David was a servant of the Lord; and he was willing to face the Philistine giant, Goliath, when all the soldiers were afraid. And David said to Saul [the king], Let no man’s heart fail because of him [Goliath]; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine. And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth. David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee (I Samuel 17:32,33,37).

David did not care that Goliath had been a man of war from his youth because he knew that he was a servant of the Most High God and that God would help him defeat that heathen giant. So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him (I Samuel 17:50).

What Is a Godly Servant?

A servant is one who submits to, obeys or promotes the interests of another. A servant gives up their own rights to serve another, and we are to be servants of the Lord. The Bible tells us, Choose you this day whom ye will serve (Joshua 24:15). We have the right to choose whether we will serve God, self or the devil; but once we have chosen, we then become a servant to our choice. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey (Romans 6:16)?

As servants of God, we must cease to promote our own interests because we are no longer our own. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s (I Corinthians 6:19,20). We must become servants of the Most High God, and we must look forward to serving Him for eternity.

If we continue to choose what we will and will not do for the Lord, we are not really His servants because we have not given up our selfish rights. The Bible says, Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men (I Corinthians 7:23). A true servant of God gives up his selfish attitude and expresses true submission to the Lord and to His desires. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily [with your whole heart], as to the Lord, and not unto men (Colossians 3:23).

Jesus came to be a servant to all, and we are to be just like Him. God spoke of His Son saying, Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles (Matthew 12:18). Jesus knew He was a servant; and that is why He said, I am among you as he that serveth (Luke 22:27). Jesus was a member of the Trinity of the Godhead; but He humbled Himself, took on the fashion of a man and became a servant. Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men (Philippians 2:6,7).

Jesus even humbled Himself to death on the Cross. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross (Philippians 2:8). If Jesus could be so obedient that He would bow to being crucified, we can be obedient to everything He wants of us in this life.

Put God First

Paul was a real servant of the Lord, and he did not choose in what capacity he would serve Him because he no longer counted his life dear to himself, only to his Lord and Master. Behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself (Acts 20:22-24). That was the secret of Paul’s victorious life in Christ.

Paul went on to say, So that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God (Acts 20:24). Paul knew he never could have finished his course with joy if he had counted his own life dear to himself and been a servant to self. The Bible says, The joy of the LORD is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10); and indeed it is!

Paul knew he had received the ministry of the Gospel of Christ from God, but what did he mean when he said “to testify the Gospel”? He meant that he was to show the real Christ to the world, and he did that with all of his heart. That is why he could say, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me (Galatians 2:20).

That is what it takes to be a true soldier of the Cross—one Jesus can count on and one who will do what He wants done. You can be that kind of soldier by following in the footsteps of Jesus, by being filled with His love, His joy, His peace and His courage and by knowing that His Gospel truth works! You must also have the mind of Christ. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5).

Paul was a true servant; and he said, For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake (II Corinthians 4:5). Paul did not preach for himself and neither did Jesus. He said, And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the Son of man [Jesus] came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many (Mark 10:44,45). Jesus was the very Son of God, but He did not come to Earth for people to minister to Him; He came to minister to them and to give His life for a lost world.

We are to be servants who are ready to serve God and others and who will take the Gospel to a lost world. Everyone must have a chance to hear the truth, and then the end will come. Jesus said, This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matthew 24:14).

Be Faithful

A true servant follows only the instructions of his master and expects to receive only what his master has promised. He does not feel obligated to carry out the instructions of anyone else or expect to receive glory or praise from them. His eyes are single toward the one he serves.

Jesus said, Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also (John 15:20). If people persecuted Jesus, they will persecute you; but don’t spend time worrying about it. Jesus said, Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:10).

The Pharisees and Sadducees fought Jesus by picking at everything He said, and they watched Him only so they could criticize Him. The scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him [Jesus] vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things: Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him (Luke 11:53,54). If you are a child of God, people will do the same thing to you; but do not pay any attention to them. They only have an argument while you have an experience.

You must be faithful to the Lord and let nothing come between you and Him. If you will always submit to Him and promote His interests to the world, you will be blessed. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods (Matthew 24:45-47).

Those who do not serve the Lord will not escape His wrath. But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite his fellow-servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 24:48-51).

In the Word, the Lord has given us all we need to go forth and serve Him. We cannot look at our human weaknesses and allow fear to take over; we must look to the Lord and say, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13). And we will get that strength by looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

No Lazy Servants Accepted

Consider this parable from Jesus and decide what kind of servant you are. For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money. After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth [reasoned] with them. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine (Matthew 25:14-25). If you cheat God, spew out your own thoughts instead of His or think you can’t trust Him, you will receive no reward; and your works will be burned up.

At God’s Judgment of Rewards, He will judge everyone according to their works; and although some people will be saved, their works will be destroyed. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire (I Corinthians 3:12-15).

God gives talents and responsibilities to people, not so they can glory in them or hide them but so they can use them to serve others with the same love that Jesus did.

Peter Served Self

At one time, Jesus washed the disciples’ feet to show them that even He was a servant; but Peter had his own ideas about it. After that he [Jesus] poureth water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head (John 13:5-9). Jesus was testing the disciples’ humility; and at first, Peter did not have the humility he needed to finish the work God had called him to do. Our own thoughts can take us from one extreme to another, and Peter was like that. He relied too much upon himself before Pentecost, and he served too much of himself to others.

At another time, Jesus took Peter, James and John up onto a high mountain; and He was transfigured before them. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias (Matthew 17:4). Jesus gave them that experience to strengthen them and make them better servants for Him, but Peter wanted to stay up there and build three tabernacles. Now, who would have gone to church up on that high mountain? Nobody. Peter’s response was just one of enthusiasm, and he had no divine power or wisdom to back it up.

In the Garden of Gethsemane, Peter cut off a man’s ear; and then he got mad at Jesus for putting it back on the man and healing him. Then said Jesus unto him [Peter], Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword (Matthew 26:52). If God wants you to use a sword, He will let you know about it; but until that happens, you must use only love.

God Wants No Selfish Servants

True servants of the Lord love not only in word but also in deed, and they are not just servants to God but to one another as well. Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God (Ephesians 5:21). Talking about, backbiting and criticizing others do not please God; and if you continue doing those things, you will be left behind.

If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves (Philippians 2:1-3). That describes the humility of Jesus, and that is what we must have and serve.

The Bible says, Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head (Romans 12:20). Those coals of fire refer to love; and Jesus spoke of the love we must have saying, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself (Matthew 22:37-39). Your neighbors in the Lord do not necessarily have to live next door; they could be on the other side of the world, but you still must get the Word of God to them.

Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others (Philippians 2:4). As a servant of the Lord, you must look on the things of others and rejoice when God is blessing them.

True servants will follow their master’s commands above their own. Jesus said, For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak (John 12:49). Then Jesus passed on those commandments to us.

To be a true soul winner, you must measure up to what the Lord is giving in this message because when you speak to people, it must be the same as if the Lord is standing there speaking to them. Jesus commanded the disciples to go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you (Matthew 28:19,20). Many people have never heard about Jesus, so we must take them God’s love and truth that will set them free if they will only believe.

Divine Power over the Devil

Jesus once told the Jews who were accusing Him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise (John 5:19). Jesus sought to be just like His Father, and He never compromised.

And they [the people] were all amazed [at the things Jesus did], insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him (Mark 1:27). Jesus had such great authority that when He commanded unclean spirits to go, they had to obey. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble (James 2:19). Even devils believe in and fear Jesus, but will you use your free choice to put yourself under subjection to Him? No one can make you do it; you have to want to do it, and you have to love to serve Him.

Jesus made the same power that He used available to us, but many churches today don’t have it because the people will not seek God like they should. Jesus said, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29).

When you pray, you must know that God always hears you just as Jesus did. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always (John 11:41,42). The Bride will not have to struggle and continuously fast just to get one prayer through because she will walk like Jesus did, and God will answer her prayers.

Jesus left His home in Glory for over thirty years to make this Gospel message possible, and God once told me that He gave all of His love when He gave His Son to die on Calvary for our sins. That is why He had to turn away when Jesus cried, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? (Matthew 27:46). His Son’s cries were more than God could take, so He closed His eyes and His ears to the scene to keep from coming down to save Him.

Divine love did that for us; and because of that divine love, God wants us to be with Him for all eternity. We will never have any tears because the Lord will wipe them all away. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away (Revelation 21:4). We will have no more sickness, no more pain or sorrow and no more death. We will be as perfect as God is, and everything will be joy.

Divine Anointings Are Pouring Out

Before the end comes, the Lord is pouring out His Spirit upon all flesh with many signs and wonders. And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh…And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath (Acts 2:17,19).

It is miracle anointing time, and God’s ultimate power is now available to all members of the bridal company because there is so much work to do. Thus saith the Lord, these anointings are for the Bride only. Just seek the face of God, and He will give you His great anointings. They are flowing like mighty rivers from the gift of miracles. Center your thoughts upon the Lord in your prayer time, and the Lord will give you the special, miracle anointings you will need in this last hour.

No person or devil can stop these anointings from coming to you. Thus saith the Lord, if you fail God and put family, friends or anything else ahead of these anointings, He will withdraw from you. If you fail God in receiving these anointings, they will never be offered to you again. Then God will not be able to use you or bless you in any great way, and you will come up lacking.

The Israelites failed God even though they had God’s leadership with them night and day. And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people (Exodus 13:21,22). The people had everything they needed in the presence of God. It was cool in the desert at night, so they had His fire to keep them warm. It was very hot during the day, and the Lord’s cloud became their umbrella.

The cloud of God is moving today, too, and we have to keep up with that cloud. If we will be all God wants us to be, He promised to always be with us. Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world (Matthew 28:20). We must let Him walk in our lives however He wants to, and then He will always give us the grace and power we need to do the same works Jesus did but in greater numbers. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (John 14:12).

Follow Christ’s Steps

You will never learn how to be a servant of the Lord from man; you have to learn it from Jesus. He was the serving Christ; and He said, Follow thou me (John 21:22). You must trace His steps again and again to see how He served and the spirit He served in, but you will never be able to serve like Jesus did unless you prepare yourself.

Jesus was the Son of God, but He did not go forth as the son of man to serve people without first receiving the Holy Ghost. When John baptized Jesus in water, he saw the Holy Ghost descend upon Him. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he [John the Baptist] saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased (Matthew 3:16,17).

Thus saith the Lord, the only way we can keep up with God is through His Holy Spirit. Jesus knew that, so He went into the wilderness to fast for forty days and nights; and when the fast was over, He declared, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me (Luke 4:18). Then He went forth in the power of the Spirit.

That is why we all must receive the Holy Ghost just like the disciples did on the Day of Pentecost. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4). No one is truly baptized until the Spirit takes over their tongue and speaks through them. God chose that manifestation Himself.

Having the Holy Ghost live within us is one of the most miraculous gifts God has ever given. The Holy Ghost is the third person in the Trinity of the Godhead, and He comes in to teach us the ways of Jesus—how He thought, how He walked and the kind of spirit He prayed in. The Spirit will teach you about divine faith like you have never been taught it before, and you will be able to use that faith of God just as easily as you use your hands and your eyes.

We have to be groomed by the Holy Ghost just as Jesus was. The Spirit worked within Jesus when He was a man to show us how the two could work together to bring about the wonderful person God desires each one of us to be. The Bride must serve the Father in all obedience and as willingly as Jesus did.

Now or Never

In the Song of Solomon, the Bride is speaking to her Groom saying, Draw me, we will run after thee (Song of Solomon 1:4). To run after Jesus, the Bride must be completely separated from the world and be wearing her veil of dedication and consecration. Without that separation, she will not be able to do God’s will. Samson is a sad example of someone who compromised with the world and lost his power with God. The Bible tells us in Judges 16 that he did eventually get it back, but he had to give his life for it.

The Bride does not have that kind of time in this last countdown hour. Now is our hour of visitation, and now is the time when we are being trained to be a part of God’s great army. You can choose to join that army and stand for God, or you can just wander along and eventually fall by the wayside because the powers of the devil are so strong in this last hour that you will go to the left or to the right. You can make no excuses; you are either in or out with God. Thus saith the Lord, you will fail God unless you give everything to Him. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service (Romans 12:1).

When God made Adam and Eve, they were everything He wanted them to be. God loved the man and woman He had made so much that He would come down to Earth in the cool of the day to walk and talk with them. He wants to do the same thing with His children today but not just in the cool of the day. God knows it is necessary for Him to be with us all the time, and that is why He made it possible for each of us to have an individual baptism in the Holy Ghost.

God’s Gifts to Us

The Bible says, If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him (James 1:5). God’s true servants will have wisdom and knowledge from His Word, so they will not make the mistakes that many so-called Christians have made by not using tact or by getting into false doctrine.

When Jesus was here, He was the Word made flesh. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14). Jesus was truth; and He said, Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). To know the truth is to live it, embrace it and love it; however, you are either for the truth or against it. You are pure or impure, holy or unholy, being used of God or not being used of God.

The gifts of the Spirit found in I Corinthians 12:8-10 will work in perfection in this final hour just like they did in the Early Church. Two of those gifts are for the working of miracles and healings. Thus saith the Lord, there is so much healing available to the Bride to get her well and keep her well. The gift of miracles will re-create parts of people’s bodies for the glory of the Lord. He made our bodies, and He will do for them what no other power can do.

Good doctors and hospitals can do a lot of things for us, but the Lord is the only true miracle worker. The Bride will serve His miracles because she will have the faith, the love and the preparation needed to do it. She will serve them in the name of Jesus just like Peter did when he said to the crippled man, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk (Acts 3:6).

Jesus had great compassion; and even though man and woman had failed, He always put people and their needs ahead of Himself. Jesus did not seek an easy road here on Earth; He said, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head (Matthew 8:20). Nevertheless, He taught the disciples not to worry about their tomorrows saying, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they (Matthew 6:25,26)? Thus saith the Lord, the Bride is not going to spend her time worrying because she will be working and serving.

Are You Ready?

You must please the Lord like Enoch did. He walked with God, and the Lord took him to Heaven alive. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God (Hebrews 11:5). True servants will be about their Father’s business and obey Him in all things; but if your mind is not properly conditioned daily, you will not put Him first. Then, people and worldly things will hinder you.

As a true child of God, it is time for you to know in whom you believe and decide whether or not you will please God all the way. Will you compromise with your companion, your children, your friends or any part of the world; or will you be a voice in the wilderness as John the Baptist was when he declared, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight (Matthew 3:2,3)? The Bride must have the voice of the Holy Ghost; and just as John the Baptist proclaimed the first appearance of Jesus, the Bride will proclaim His second appearance with all faith and love.

One day, God’s children will hear the call, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him (Matthew 25:6). You must be expecting Him to come; and God’s anointings are going to get you ready, saith the Lord. You have to hurry and finish your work and rescue every soul you possibly can before the day is done. If you compromise and fail, Jesus will come as a thief in the night and leave you behind. Then all the souls whom you could have won will be left, too, because you were too busy to help them. Thus saith the Lord, you hold souls in your hands; and you can’t let them slip through your fingers. If you disobey God and let them go, they will drop into hell…and some of them could be your very own.

The hour is late, and the Lord has called you into His service; so you must lay everything aside just as Jesus did when He was on Earth. He spent many hours with Peter, James, John and the other apostles; but when the Day of Pentecost came, the disciples were quickly swept into the Upper Room and baptized in the Holy Ghost. Then the power of God began to move, and the gifts of the Spirit began to work; and the disciples went everywhere preaching Christ. Therefore they that were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching the word (Acts 8:4).

The Word of God increased, and so did the number of disciples. And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith (Acts 6:7). The truth in the Word prevailed. So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed (Acts 19:20).

For God’s truth to be accepted and then prevail, you have to speak it with the love of Jesus and serve it in the same spirit He did. The Bible says, But speaking the truth in love, [we] may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ (Ephesians 4:15).

Mountains and Valleys

It is time for true servants of the Lord to yield to the greatness of God and to treasure His anointings more than houses, lands or anything else on Earth, even more than their own lives. They must be willing to die for God’s promises and for His will to be done. They must be living sacrifices who are ready to be offered at any time; and then the Lord will lift them up and make Himself so real to them that they will not be tormented with doubt, fear or frustration. They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

The Lord has gathered His Bride into His arms again and again, and now He will leap with her from mountain to mountain. The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills (Song of Solomon 2:8). The Lord wants to rejoice with His Bride; but if you put family, friends or anything else ahead of Him, you will not be ready to leap with Him. Then you will have to go down into valleys you could have avoided because you would have been on the next mountain peak winning souls and working for the Lord.

There are times when you will have to go into valleys but not to suffer for your own sake; you will be there to get God’s work done. In the valley of human needs is where Jesus healed and delivered people; so when you find yourself in that valley, stop worrying and thinking you have failed God and get to work. You will only fail God if you sit in that valley and do nothing.

Fulfill Your Responsibility

To be a member of the bridal company, you must bow down to and serve only God. Then through the discerning of spirits, the Bride will be able to recognize and separate the spirit of man, the spirit of the devil and the Spirit of God. You will have clear, spiritual vision, so you will not stumble along through the night worrying about things. You will know your way because you will know the Lord’s way, but you must live in His perfect love; and He must have complete control. Thus saith the Lord, some of you will bow down to your companion and let them influence you to fail God. Others will let your children cause you to fail God, so you must always be on guard and put God first.

Members of the true Bride will take full responsibility for doing all of the Lord’s work and for taking Jesus’ place here on Earth; however, no one can qualify to take on that great responsibility unless they have the Holy Ghost to dress them for it, and the story of Esther proves that is so. Esther was chosen from among many girls to be the queen of Persia because she let the king’s servant (a type of the Holy Ghost) dress her in the way that he knew would please the king. The other girls chose their own dresses and fixed themselves up the way they wanted to, but they were not accepted.

Now when the turn of Esther…was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king’s chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her. And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen (Esther 2:15,17).

Just as the servant dressed Esther, it is going to take the Holy Ghost to prepare each one of us to meet Jesus. He knows exactly what Jesus loves, so the Father has sent Him to get us ready to meet Jesus when He appears in midair. At that moment, you can have no person or thing holding you down or you will be left; and there is only one flight out.

Take God’s Thoughts

God’s Word tells us to think deep. O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep (Psalm 92:5). In the New Testament, Paul gave us six things to think on; and every one of them is truth. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8).

There is no time to think about what people say; you must think about the greatness of your mission and of what the Father has told you in His Word. Then you will have great compassion and forgiveness toward others. When you think you cannot forgive someone for something they have done, think about the pain and torture Jesus endured when He was dying on the Cross. He was suffering so much, yet He used His last breath to pray, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do (Luke 23:34). The Bride will be just like Jesus and say, “Father, forgive!” Paul told of Christ’s crucifixion saying, Who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2).

Many people walk with the Lord only part of the time because they will not forgive others when they should just turn them over to God who said, Vengeance is mine; I will repay (Romans 12:19). When the Lord gets through with people, they will wish it had been someone other than God dealing with them.

Jesus said, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you (Matthew 5:44). When you pray for people, it will take all contention and bitterness towards them out of you and give you peace.

The Bride will rejoice no matter what she is facing because she will be like her Lord. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you (Matthew 5:11,12).

All we have to do is give people the truth. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). If some do not want to accept that truth, it is not our fault; they will be the ones to suffer.

The Time Is Now

It is time for true servants of the Lord to accept all the teachings of Jesus and to live according to the Sermon on the Mount found in Matthew 5-7. Christ taught us all about divine love, forgiveness, prayer and fasting. He taught us the attitude we should have towards sin and anger and that we are not to judge others. He taught us how to ask of Him. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you (Matthew 7:7).

The Lord is pouring Himself out to the Bride, and it is time to receive power from On High. This is the hour of the Bride’s visitation, and God is giving her all the power she needs to be just like Jesus—to talk like Him, act like Him and do His works on a greater scale.

If you are one of God’s true servants, it is time for you to move in and take your place in the body of Christ and to live in perfect obedience to Him. At the end of each day, you must have the peace of the Lord and deep satisfaction in knowing that you have done the whole will of God. Thus saith the Lord, you will be in one mind with the Spirit, with Christ and with the Father.

Adam was perfect in all of his ways before he sinned, and the great, big God of the universe would come down to walk with him. Can two walk together, except they be agreed (Amos 3:3)? Absolutely not! Adam and God were in one mind, and the Bride will also be in full agreement with her Lord.

God made Adam in His likeness, and He gave him a mind just like His own except smaller. God wanted His man to think just like Him, for all of his thoughts to be holy and for everything to be done in perfection. Adam never went to school to learn anything; God gave him all the knowledge he needed, but then he lost it all through sin.

There were very few people like the first man until Christ came; but after that, many of them began to take on the same mind that Adam and Eve had. Thus saith the Lord, the Bride will have the same mind that God gave in the beginning. The human race lost everything through sin; but the Bible says, The Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost (Luke 19:10). The word “was” in that scripture tells us that Jesus did not come just to save lost humanity but to buy back everything man had lost when he fell from grace.

Man lost the whole Earth, but Jesus came as the perfect Redeemer. He is now redeeming souls; and one day, He will also redeem the Earth. John the Revelator said, And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea (Revelation 21:1).

It Is Miracle Time

When Jesus was on Earth, his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them (Matthew 4:24). Later, Jesus went to the whipping post and paid for our healing, so it is now miracle time.

The Bride can have the same power that Jesus used, so it is time for us to rise up in that miracle power and use the name of Jesus. In His name, we must take healing to the people, deliver them from devil possession and set their minds free. He told the disciples, These signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18).

If you have the Holy Ghost, you have the power to use the authority in Jesus’ name. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8). Thus saith the Lord, the Bride will speak; and it will be the same as Jesus speaking. The Bride will speak the truth with power, and she will act it out.

When Jesus was here, He allowed one man to walk on the water to show us that any human being who will yield to God can have and use the same power He did. Peter…said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt (Matthew 14:28-31)?

Divine power enabled Peter to take those few steps, and he could have walked all the way to Jesus and back to the boat again if he had kept his eyes on the Lord and used the faith God had given him. God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). We must use that great faith so we can get off the boat and walk the waters, too.

The Bride of Christ is now living in the same miracle atmosphere Jesus did, and she must make the same miracle steps He made. They were steps of service to God that led to souls, to doing the Father’s will and to fulfilling His mission; and we must fulfill our mission, too.

Always Answer the Lord’s Call

Jesus is everything to His true servants, so we must totally submit to Him and serve Him in total obedience. We must have God’s vision for this end-time hour, His great knowledge and His divine hope and be ready to drop everything and take on our responsibilities before Him.

Jesus is calling you, and there is no time to put Him off as the Bride did in the Song of Solomon. The Groom knocked on her door; but the Bride said, I sleep, but my heart waketh: it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night. [The Bride answers] I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them (Song of Solomon 5:2,3)?

Later, she decided that she did want to see her Groom; but it was too late. I rose up to open to my beloved; and my hands dropped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock. I opened to my beloved; but my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone: my soul failed when he spake: I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer (Song of Solomon 5:5,6).

God will not be longsuffering with disobedient spirits in this final hour. Thus saith the Lord, even Christians will not get by like they used to; God will push them out of the way and go on. The Lord will not keep going after people who will not open their door to Him. They may decide to open it later, but He will be gone.

Every moment that Jesus was here, He took full responsibility for being the Son of God. He suffered much, but He always did God’s works and put His Father’s will first. Jesus is our example, so you must study how willingly and obediently He served, even to the giving of His life; and then you must be just like Him. He has given you His power just as He gave it to His twelve apostles and to seventy of His disciples. Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases (Luke 9:1). The Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name (Luke 10:1,17).

Those disciples received that greatness before Jesus ascended back to Heaven, but He told them that they would have to receive the Holy Ghost for it to continue to work through them. He had just given them a demonstration of what they could have so they would have the knowledge and full assurance of it; and He is giving His Bride full assurance and knowledge of how she can use that power, too. The Lord is seeking to bring everyone who will yield all to Him into His innermost chamber; and thus saith the Lord, every member of the bridal company will be full of faith and power. Will you be a true servant and give over to His power and greatness?

Receive Healing for Soul and Body

The first step to becoming a true servant of the Lord is to receive salvation; so if you are not born again through the blood of Jesus, pray this prayer with me now: Oh, God, save my soul. I am so sorry that I sinned against you, but I have come home; and I am going to serve you for the rest of my life. I believe that Jesus died for me, and I want to live for Him. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in, Jesus! If you meant this prayer, you can say, “Hallelujah, Jesus has come!”

Now, you are ready to receive a miracle. If you are sick and afflicted or you have a little one who is afflicted, get ready for God to move for you. Jesus is the healer. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings (Malachi 4:2).

Lord, I bring the people to you. These supernatural gifts that you work through the life of this your humble servant will deliver the people. In the holy name of Jesus, I command the people to be healed of all manner of sicknesses and diseases! In the name of Jesus, I command the little children to be healed! Heal, in the all powerful name of Jesus! Heal! Note every improvement daily, and watch yourself or your little one get well in the name of Jesus.

Thus Saith the Lord

Thus saith the Lord, I am here to call you unto myself, to call you into my greatness. I am here to give you my mighty anointing that has never been given in your day; I offer it to you today. Open your eyes to my greatness and feel the might of my Spirit in the midst of you today. Feel me and know that I am here and let me be living reality to you.

I am here, saith the Lord; I am not afar off. I am the Lord that loveth thee. I am the Lord that careth for thee. I am the Lord that walketh with thee. I am the Lord that healeth thee. I am the Lord that delivereth thee.

You must now receive the Holy Ghost and then yield everything to Him without one doubt about your salvation or your healing, about the presence of God being with you or about the soon-coming of the Lord. Let the Spirit make God’s truth and promises real to you and always remember that your responsibility is to be obedient, to believe, to serve the Lord with all your heart and to praise Him.
