When you blend your mind in with the Holy Spirit and keep it blended, there will not be enough devils from the pits of hell able to defeat you. The anointing of God that brings the victory comes through the blood of Jesus. Yielding to the anointing delivers you from the leeches of the mind. The devil can get to the mind, but he cannot get to the soul covered by the blood of Jesus. You are the only one who can break the seal of blood on your soul. Although the soul is protected, sealed with the blood of Jesus, the mind is not sealed with the blood; it is protected with the anointing of God. The degree of protection you have for the mind depends on how much anointing you seek and how much you use. God has provided His anointing to give you His peace, joy and clearness of mind. However, if you do not use His anointing, you will not have its benefits. The greatness of God in the soul will not work for you unless you blend with the Holy Spirit so He can serve the mind what is in the soul.

The eternal soul from God is the reservoir for the mind, the storage tank, so to speak. There is no limit to the capacity of the soul. It can hold all the Godhead and all Heaven. If you, rather than the Holy Spirit, serve the mind, you serve from self and not from the soul. The Holy Spirit comes to serve, to see that the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us (Romans 5:5). The Holy Ghost sheds abroad the love of God from our souls into our minds. Not only does He keep His love flowing, gushing in the soul, He sheds it abroad. When the life of God, when the Holy Spirit is in your soul, Heaven rejoices. But the soul is hampered and hindered if the mind does not have a good blend daily with the Holy Spirit: It is a handicap to you, a handicap to God. This lack of blend with the Holy Spirit ties the hands of the Lord. It is essential that the blend of your mind and the mind of the Holy Spirit be unwavering.

To blend means to mix, to unite, to go well together, to harmonize.

To unite your mind with the mind of the Holy Spirit is to harmonize, mix, blend with the living Word of God. Blending with the Holy Spirit produces a desired quality, the mind quality that the Lord planned for us.

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind (Matthew 22:37). Remember this phrase: With all thy mind. You must love God with all your mind, not with just your soul, not with just the spirit within. In other words, have a love mind. You cannot carry hate, grudges, anything else foreign to the Holy Spirit and still have a love mind. Many Christians have failed, saith the Lord, because they did not have a love mind. They have not left their minds with God as they should have, not kept them in shape for the Holy Spirit to use, and they have limped along spiritually crippled.

The mind of the Holy Spirit and your mind are meant to blend in perfection, and this is not difficult if you yield the mind to Him. This blend comes through the love, grace and blood of Jesus.

Have you ever studied the mind? what the mind is made of, how it works? Since the mind is so important, the Lord wants you to know all about it, to be able to think for yourself. God is explaining Himself, letting you know His mysteries in this last and final hour.

God had made man, no doubt, millions of years ago. But it was not an intelligent man, not a man with a miniature brain like His, not a man with a soul. The agnostics, the infidels, the unbelievers use prehistoric man to disclaim the creation of Adam and Eve about six thousand years ago. We do not claim a type of man did not exist millions of years ago, but the first intelligent man, the first man with a soul was Adam. The creation of Adam as the first man does not conflict with the existence of prehistoric man at all.

All hell has raged against the Bible down through the centuries, but the Word of God will never be destroyed; the devil can’t steal from God’s Book. However, when the mind isn’t blended with the mind of the Spirit, the devil can steal from that mind. Many Christians are weak, bound with oppression and depression because the devil has robbed them of the truths of God.

The anointing of God brings happiness; the anointing is the presence of God. The Lord wants us to remember Him. The worst sin in the world is forgetting God. The Lord made Adam and Eve with minds that could reason, think, remember just like God’s mind; but their minds, of course, were not as powerful or great. God didn’t intend minds to be equal to His; He meant for them to operate with His, to stay plugged into His at all times. Man’s thoughts were always to be as pure as God’s thoughts, his mind to function in perfection with God’s mind. God would come down in the cool of the day to walk and talk with Adam and Eve. Today it’s through the blood of Jesus that we have fellowship with the Lord; He lives with us. The blood of Jesus gave us life, took away our sin, cleaned us up soul, mind and body.

When the Lord save you, He gives you a clean mind; but if you let the devil contaminate it, you are in trouble. Treasure and protect the anointing of God so you will have no contamination in the mind; the anointing will protect you from contamination. You cannot carry any hate, strife, grudges or anything else unlike God and still have the anointing of God in your mind. Yet, Christians have harbored discord and said things that never should have been said. Many have turned into spiritual skeletons, backslidden because of the contamination.

God is concerned about what we think. When the mind is yielded to God’s anointing, He loves to fellowship with that person. The perfect blend of the human mind and God’s Spirit is a delight to the Lord. The Bride will have such a mind in this her final walk. As God uses her, speaks through her and to her, she will be a marvel.

To speak you opinion is to speak your mind, your views. The Lord wants you to have opinions, but He wants them all to be in harmony with His Word. Never give your personal opinions until you first give them the Word test. Broadcasting opinions that do not harmonize with the Word of God can be very damaging. In fact, you can be destroyed by your own opinions. You tie the hands of the Holy Spirit, prevent Him from moving for you when your mind is filled with your own opinions instead of His thoughts.

What kind of mind do you have? Is it your will to please God? Is it your will to guard your tongue? Do you fuss? For the love bridle to fit you, you need to be rid of the mouth that spews out gossip, criticism and strife. Is your mind contaminated? If so, reach for the love bridle. If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain (James 1:26). Your ungodly words condemn you. Speak only that which is sanctified, holy and pure.

A spiritual weakness in your mind can drop into your soul and destroy you. The devil is working on minds to break them down; but, I say again, he cannot break the seal of blood on the soul of a born-again Christian. Only by willfully sinning against God can you break that seal.

What one intends, wishes, wills is important. The Lord wants us to intend to do right and then do it, to follow up on good intentions. God has good intentions toward all who serve Him, and they come to pass.

If you delight yourself in the Lord, He will give you the desires of your heart, of your mind. To delight means to please Him. Enoch delighted in the Lord, and the Lord took him home, translated him before he had a chance to die.

Don’t live on wishes, but wish the right things. Wishes were a pleasure the Lord gave man and woman to help them. It pleased the Lord to know that Adam and Eve wished for Him to come down in the cool of the day to walk and talk with them.

The mind is the seat of consciousness, of intellect. God’s intelligence directs you to the Bible. His intelligence cannot be separated from the Bible. When He gave us intelligence, He gave us His mind. The mind has the ability to pay attention to the Word of God.

The mind is that which thinks, perceives, feels. Although the Lord wants us to feel—to feel our salvation for instance—we are not to live by feelings. Salvation is received through faith. The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17). Not by feelings will the just live, but by faith. Although you may not always feel like it, if your soul is right with God your faith should tell you that you are going to Heaven. Some people, however, listen to their feelings and not faith. The devil joins in. You don’t feel anything, he whispers. I believe your salvation left while you were asleep. You have a mind: Use it. Take your doubts to the Word of God. You know your salvation isn’t going to leak out while you sleep.

Through your feelings, the devil seeks to make you think you cannot concentrate on the Word of God, can’t remember it, can’t believe it or accept it. The devil, remember, is the king of liars. The Early Church told the story of Jesus; they didn’t preach a thing the devil had to say. Why? Their minds as well as their souls had been taken over by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit will arrest your mind if you want Him to. Were someone to tell you that you had just won a million dollars, that one would have your complete attention. Give such complete attention to the Holy Spirit and He will excite you over the Word. When you are excited about something, it has your undivided attention.

The mind has the ability to take care of and to watch over a matter. Through the Holy Spirit, the mind has the ability to watch over your life, to feel concern about all your ways, about everything you speak and every action you take, every expression you display.

The Bible tells us that we can be in one mind with the Holy Spirit and with God’s people. To be in one mind with the Holy Spirit and with God’s people. To be in one mind with the Holy Spirit means you agree with Him. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God (Romans 15:5-7). You agree with the Holy Spirit, not with your opinions, not with self-justification; you agree with His reasoning. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD (Isaiah 1:18).

The Lord is calling you always to the Word of God to reason through the blend of the Holy Spirit with your mind. The Lord cannot reason with a mind that is not blended for any length of time with the Holy Spirit. Some Christians do not grow in the Lord because the Lord simply cannot reason with them.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways (James 1:5-8). God hates a double-mind. Are you double-minded about the promises of God? Do you waver about your salvation? If you choose salvation, be determined to live holy, to follow in the steps of Jesus all the way; decide you are going to Heaven and nothing will stop you. Have a made-up mind. A mind that isn’t totally made up leaves the door to the world open a crack. But if you plan to keep your salvation, close all doors to the sin you have been delivered from. Every time you close a door, keep it closed; all you have to say is Holy Spirit, seal it with the blood. I won’t be back.

Some of you have two minds because you don’t know how to use only one. The devil has divided your mind, and you helped him do it. You are undecided: one minute you think you are going to Heaven, the next you don’t know. Until you yield to the Holy Spirit, you are not ready to face the world, not ready to go with the Lord. You may pride yourself on knowing other people’s minds, picking around, plucking about to gather every piece of information about them you can, but do you know your own mind? If you don’t know your mind, don’t try to deal with anyone else’s mind. Until you get your mind right with God, right with the Word of God, you are in no condition to deal with the mind of another person. You must have a mind for Jesus and the things of God and recognize your need of Him.

To make up your mind is to form a sure opinion, to make definite decisions. You resolve to serve God. Those who are unresolved are troubled with doubt. Their opinions are not definite because they are not truthful opinions but opinions full of self. It’s when your opinions harmonize with God that they have the strength of God in them. Opinions that stand the Word-test are right. Decisions made with and through the Holy Spirit are as strong as the Holy Spirit Himself.

Come to Jesus; make your decision to receive Him into your heart, into your life, and never waver. In order to do that, you must live with the Lord, walk hand in hand with Him through the Holy Spirit.

If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Corinthians 5:17). When you are born again, the old mind is gone; you have a brand-new mind created in the righteousness and holiness of God. With a new mind, a new heart, you are new all over. Cherish the new creature. Don’t clutter it with the things of the flesh, the things of the world, the things of the devil. Keep it filled with peace, joy and truth. When troubles come, you know how to handle them, for you have the strength of the Lord to face them. All Heaven backs you up when you are hidden in the Word of God. Jesus said, Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew 24:35). But the word of the Lord endureth for ever (I Peter 1:25). You have the abiding strength, the abiding power of the Word to stand.

Be careful what you keep on your mind. You can’t help the devil giving you a thought, but you don’t have to embrace it. A Christian holding to things that are not right brings forth evil. That’s the reason so much gossip has been in the Christian world. Churches have been hindered and destroyed by gossip, and God has been robbed of souls. The Holy Spirit could not work among the gossipers. If you are on the telephone and begin to hear the wrong things, why keep listening? Why feel you must accept words that tear down others? If you listen to gossip, enjoy it, you are as guilty of that gossip as the person speaking it. When you tell hurtful information to people who have no real business knowing about the problem, you are gossiping. God holds you accountable for it. If you are troubled about something, go to a true servant of God and seek help; God has placed shepherds over you to care for you.

If you are constantly struggling, if you have spiritual weakness, if you seem always to be in a valley, know that you are living beneath your privilege, and find out why. A mind bended with the Holy Spirit can take you through any valley in victory, and you will know whether or not that valley is the will of God for you. Do you dig your own valleys?

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment (Matthew 12:36). What are idle words? Idle words are empty words, vain, burnt-out words. No life exists in them, no value; they have no use or significance. Idle words are worthless, ineffective, futile, pointless, baseless, unfounded rumors.

Idle words waste your voice, your breath; the opportunity to grow in the Lord is squandered by idle words. Idle words can destroy your own salvation, can prevent God’s love, faith and truth from working in your life.

Idle words muzzle the Holy Spirit of truth; therefore, you who use idle words are in great trouble.

Analyze your words at the close of each day. Did I speak empty words today? Did I speak vain words? Did my words burn out or did they have the life of the Spirit in them? Did they have love? Did they have peace, patience, longsuffering? Did they have self-control? What value were the words that I spoke? What significance did they have? Were they valuable or worthless? Could God use any of the words I spoke today? Were they pointless, baseless? Did I speak anything that was unfounded? Did I tell something without evidence of its truth? Did I gossip, pass on an idle rumor?

To put a person in mind of something, to remind him, are functions of the mind. The Lord wants us to have minds that will accept His thoughts. If you have a clear mind, the Holy Spirit can put anything He wants into it, and then He can remind you about it. Do this for the Lord, do it this way, take care of this. If you have hurt someone, the Lord reminds you to make it right. However if your mind is not in harmony with the Holy Spirit, His thoughts will not sink in.

The Lord gives us minds able to concentrate. We can set our minds on the fact that the Word of God is all truth, and the devil cannot shake us from that fact. The truth is made manifest by the Holy Spirit Himself.

Some people have many problems; often they are depressed because they lack determination to hold to the liberating truth in the Word of God. Had they determination to overcome every obstacle that came their way, they could not be defeated, not be denied knowing that God’s blessing would come.

With the determination of Jacob of old as he wrestled with the angel of God, hold to the promises of God until He moves. I will not let thee go, except thou bless me, Jacob said (Genesis 32:26). Jacob set his mind on receiving the blessing. He had a mind that desired God.

Desire the things of God; desire His righteousness. Jesus said, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6). The Holy Spirit can’t serve you that which you have no desire for. He wants to serve the things you need, all the greatness of God that you can hold.

To speak one’s mind is to say plainly what one thinks. Make sure your mind is perfectly blended with the Holy Spirit before you speak. Or you will be off course. A plane flying off course is in grave danger. Many Christians today are off course, a danger because in speaking their minds, they do much damage to the work of God. When you speak the truth, you speak plainly; there is no deceit in it.

Some minds are full of double-talk, deceptive idle talk. God despises double-talk; the person is not sincere but deceitful, speaking “out of both sides of his mouth.” Holding to one speck of deceit hinders the Holy Spirit from moving for you and puts you in grave danger of being eternally destroyed. Not one seed of deceit will ever enter Heaven.

The Holy Spirit can direct your attention to the things of the Lord, but if you don’t cooperate with Him, don’t depend upon the Holy Spirit to remove stumbling blocks from your mind, He cannot help you. You may hear something unpleasant, something you can do nothing about except pray, and that unpleasantness does not go away. When the Holy Spirit is part of your mind, when the blend is what it ought to be, He will help you clear your mind. How can He do that? By serving you whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8).

You can’t expect one who is evil to speak good things, neither can you expect the lukewarm Christian to speak enthusiastically about Jesus. Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh (Matthew 12:33,34). A person who has an abundance of the Lord in his heart, who has the perfect blend with the Holy Spirit, is a treasure house of the Lord.

People speak from the abundance of the heart, and in the lukewarm Christian, the heart is not filled with God’s abundance. Jesus said, Because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth (Revelation 3:16). Don’t be influenced by the lukewarm. Truth is the only thing you can serve those in lukewarm conditions. If they will not accept the truth, it’s best to move on before you yourself become contaminated with lukewarmness.

The mind can help you enter Heaven or it can close the door to Heaven for you. You need the mind to be fixed on the reality of God’s Word, to have Bible direction. You may start with a soul full of the goodness of God, but if you don’t keep the mind fixed on His goodness, the mind will take you off course, make shortcuts and cause you to wander onto paths of disobedience. The mind can rob you of every good thing in your soul, saith the Lord: a mind fixed on God is that important to you, for such a mind will not rob your soul. Blended and used with the Holy Spirit only, the mind should never be separated from Him.

The mind of the Bride will be with the Holy Spirit day and night; there will be no separation between the two minds, saith the Lord. The Bride will obey all directions, walk in the steps of Jesus. Walking in the truth and serving nothing less than the truth, she will wear the truth as one would wear a beautiful garment.

Without the mind blended with the Holy Spirit, you will never be clothed in the righteousness and holiness of God. Be determined to blend with the Holy Spirit, to let Him cleanse your mind.

For years and years some people have carried resentments over a slight or hurt, keeping it in their minds as fresh as the day it happened. Bitterness has made them weak, caused them to limp along in life. Why carry trash in your mind when you could carry things of value? Why not hold to thoughts that serve you well and edify you and others? Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord (Romans 12:19). Turn your enemies over to the Lord; pray for their souls. You don’t love the ungodly ways of people, God doesn’t either, but you must love their souls. Pray that they get right with God. On the other hand, if you have “sanctified enemies,” it may be you whom God doesn’t like. God doesn’t like anything unholy, ungodly, or unwholesome.

When your mind operates right, it does not give attention to that which God doesn’t want you to think about, that which is not edifying. Remember the six things of Philippians 4:8 that we are to think upon, six things the Holy Spirit uses to take your mind off destructive thoughts. Stay with Him until He weeds out the thoughts and ideas that hinder His working for you. If you go to a doctor for an operation, you stay until he is finished. Would you jump off the operating table in the middle of your operation? Of course not. Neither should you run away from the Lord before He is finished with you. Some people, however, won’t yield all to the Holy Spirit and then they blame God when they are not delivered.

The mind’s eye is the ability to imagine or remember scenes. Have the Holy Spirit check the mind’s eye daily because imagination can balloon out of control. You might imagine someone is against you when he is not. The devil would like to bring fear into your imagination: you could feel someone is about to kill you. The Bible tells us to be casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (II Corinthians 10:5). Within itself, the mind cannot cast down imaginations. Casting down imaginations takes the blend of the mind with the Holy Spirit. The two of you together can do it. Paul said, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13). You can do all things through Christ when you have the right blend with Him through the Holy Spirit. He gives you the strength.

Again I say, you must stay plugged in to the Lord just as Adam and Eve were before the fall. God never intended them to break that connection, but they did. They had free choice, and they used that choice to their sorrow and destruction. You have the same free choice. You can stay connected to the Lord or you can break that connection. Blaming someone else for your own mistakes stinks in the nostrils of God as does clinging to resentments over how unfairly you have been treated in the past. Regardless of what people or the devil do to you, the grace of God is sufficient to overcome all. The blood of Jesus is all you need. You are without excuse when you choose to hold on to resentments and bitterness instead of holding on to the Lord. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent (Acts 17:30). Through the blood, everyone is called to repentance and nothing less will do. If you want to walk the high road with the Lord, you need to have the high mind. The low mind belongs to the flesh and the devil; the high mind belongs to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. When you come to Jesus He will not let you leave with a low mind. All born-new people come forth from the altar of God with a high mind. A low mind thinks low things about people. How do you talk in your home, high or low? Do you talk the language of Heaven?

Paul wrote, My speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual (I Corinthians 2:4,12,13). Paul spoke the language of Heaven: pure, clean, holy. Your talk should be Heaven’s talk with those in the home. Have a heavenly marriage by putting the Lord first, yielding to His love and giving that love to others.

The blood protects the soul—never forget this truth—and the mind is protected by the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Only the right kind of mind can have the anointing of God. The anointing is the presence of the Lord, the divine presence ever with His children. In His presence I joy, peace, wisdom and knowledge.

Is your mind leeched in some areas? No life of the Holy Spirit exists in the part of the mind that is leeched. Only the anointing of God can destroy leeches. The anointing of God has all the power of Heaven in it. You can pray and pray and still remain leeched, but as you seek the face of God, the leeches fall off. Never return to that thing which leeched you in the first place. If you turn to that spirit again, the leeches will come back.

The leeches feed on the spirit of self, ego, stubbornness, disobedience, idle talk, doubt, fear. Yet there is no reason to remain leeched when the love of God conquers all. A mind of love is the mind God offers you. A mind of love makes you a Jesus overcomer. Te love of God must flow all the time to keep people free of all leeches of the mind.

Do you have a mind of love? Do you have a mind in harmony with all God’s love? If something is in your mind that God doesn’t agree with, it means you don’t love the Lord with all your heart. If you did, you would be free of whatever is unlike God. Jesus made no excuses when He was here; He fulfilled all He came to do. He had the choice of failing, but He met the devil head-on and defeated him.

Look into God’s mirror and find what is in your mind and heart. If you blame others for your weaknesses and mistakes, you are ugly in the sight of God. Since the Lord provides you power to trample devils underfoot, you, through the Holy Ghost and the blood of the Lamb, have power to overcome the power of the devil.

Some have been abused in the past, a terrible thing, but God gives the power to overcome the scars. People can use the power of God or they can use the abuse as an excuse to fail God, even to commit crimes. Many children have been robbed of the Word of God and that is the reason they are in trouble when they grow up. They have no anchor, no godly stronghold in their lives. America is reaping the whirlwind of godless homes. It was an ill harvest, indeed, that took God out of the schools. Our nation is not really a Christian nation; it is decaying from the inside just like the Roman Empire did. The only way strong nations have been destroyed is from within. A takeover by the devil has many people undisturbed by sin. What value is put on godly character today? How offended are people by the lack of Christian morals in government officials? The majority of people don’t care about the character of presidential candidates. All God’s people who have the mind of the Holy Spirit care. God cares.

Where are people you can trust? There was a time in America when even people who were unsaved were honest; they did business with a handshake. It’s different today. The Bible tells us that this time would come: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away (II Timothy 3:1-5). We live in the last days. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God (II Thessalonians 2:3,4). The spirit of Antichrist is being manifested all over the world now. It’s time to realize what a dangerous hour we are in, time to stop feeding your mind on the wrong things and let your mind blend with the Holy Spirit: be determined to stay with Him.

Your mind, like your body, is what you feed it. If you feed on fear, you have a fearful mind. If you feed on doubt, you have a doubting mind. Feeding on hurt gives you a wounded mind unable to overcome or yield to the cleansing of the Holy Spirit. A diet of lust fills you with lust. Resentment, discontentment, grudges, all the thoughts of the flesh and the devil are in opposition to the anointing of God. You become what your thoughts are if you insist on keeping them. Harboring the wrong thoughts is very damaging; you simply cannot afford them if you want the anointing of God in your life.

Many Christians today are sour; they carry hate, grudges, contention and resentment. They don’t feed on the Holy Spirit but on thoughts that push the Holy Spirit away. Minds are taken over by frustration, depression and oppression. Carelessness, lukewarmness, indifference do not provide the right atmosphere for the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, and He feeds you truth. The strength, greatness and power of the truth is yours if you want it. But a lack of prayer, Bible fasting and living in the Word of God will keep the greatness of God from your life.

How do you pray? Do you rush through prayers because your mind is on what you would rather be doing? We have an individual Savior, a personal God and Holy Spirit. Why treat them as though they are miles away and hard of hearing? Why not talk to God on an intimate level? In the Garden of Eden, God showed us how He wanted to fellowship with man. During the cool of the day He came down to walk and talk with Adam and Eve. God walked the same steps they could take. They had no trouble keeping up with Him. Through the Spirit of God it is the same for us today. We can keep up with the Lord through His Holy Spirit. Go into the presence of the Lord knowing He is there. He promised to meet you in the prayer closet. He welcomes you; He is waiting for you to want Him, to be free of your duties so you can spend time with Him. When you see the Lord, how glorious He is, you want to praise Him. Prayer should be ninety-nine percent praise. Glorify the Lord. Use your mind to bring to remembrance His many blessings.

As you rejoice in prayer, the Holy Spirit will begin to rejoice with you. He may take you over and begin to sing. When I first received the Holy Spirit baptism, the Holy Spirit would sing through me. I listened to Him and loved it. Taking over my mind, He gave me great peace and happiness. I wanted to be with Him rather than with people, and I would rush to the prayer chamber. Some people rush into the prayer chamber, say the same thing over and over and rush out again. They might as well write it down and say, Here it is, Lord. Read it. Would you like your child to communicate with you that way? Talk to the Lord as you would to a dearly loved one standing next to you. The Lord is there. If you don’t have that reality, seek Him until you do. Tell Him your heart; He will listen. Be conscious that you are living in His presence and that He loves you, and never forget to praise Him.

Jesus cleansed ten lepers and only one turned to praise Him. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole (Luke 17:17-19).

Years ago, I decided I would not be one of the nine who forgot to praise the Lord. I always felt sorry for Jesus when I read the ingratitude of the nine lepers. I could feel the sorrow in His words, the sadness, the disappointment. I don’t want to disappoint Jesus; He has been disappointed so many times. I want always to be careful to praise Him for what He has done for me. There was a time that agonizing pain made my sleep impossible, but then the Lord came to me one night and healed me. It’s wonderful to have good health and plenty of strength! I thank Him; I honor Him for it. I have much to thank Him for.

Stay in the presence of the Lord, making melody to Him in your heart. He is with you who are born again and abiding in the new and living way. Jesus doesn’t leave you when you leave the prayer chamber. You just took time to put aside things as you praised, adored and honored Him. Even in your daily duties, you can sing and make melody in your heart. Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 5:19,20). All too often Christians forget this verse and make melody in their hearts to the world.

What you listen to gets on the inside, changes you. Listening to the wrong kind of music pulls you away from the Lord, but if you listen to songs that glorify God, you are blessed and can be a blessing. When you glorify the Lord He will bless you. What pleasure do you get out of being depressed? The Lord wants you to rejoice in Him. He likes the smiles of men and women, boys and girls. Had He wanted animals to smile, He would have given them that power. It is we who were given that ability. It takes less muscles to smile than it does to frown. Some people wear out their faces by frowning.

The Holy Spirit will help you rid your mind of depression and oppression and place it on Him and His love, on something wonderful and happy. In every way the Lord is trying to bring you out of anything that hinders you from living in His reality, love and joy.

What kind of mind do you have? How long has it been since you checked your mind? If some of you checked the gas in your car as little as you checked your mind, you wouldn’t go very far, but you feel the need to check your gasoline level; you know what will happen if you don’t. The need to check your mind should be even more important. You operate in the happiness and greatness of God only as well as your mind functions in Him.

Have you never felt led to fast? Many people have heard about fasting for years, but have rejected the Holy Spirit every time He tried to move on them to fast. For thirty years or more some have been planning to go on a long fast, and they haven’t been on one yet. If you close your ears to what the Spirit is telling you, you become dull of hearing. The Spirit mentions certain things to your heart, and you don’t hear. You rob yourself of the benefits of God by your disobedience. You don’t hear all the Spirit is saying because you hear what the mind wills to hear. If the Lord suggests you do something you want to do, you are happy doing it; but if He tells you to do something you don’t want to, you turn Him off. He knows you could hear, but you don’t will to do what He is telling you to do. The Spirit cannot lead you when you won’t follow.

Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit on short fasts, and then He can lead you to longer fasts. A woman once told me she would fast if she didn’t get hungry. Of course you are hungry when you fast; that’s one reason you are so blessed. Fasting is denying self, denying the physical in order to bring the inner person closer to the Lord, to receive from Him, to humble self in His presence. In fasting, you are dining with the Lord.

If you blend in with the Holy Spirit, you feel the effects of the fast, feel His strength pouring into you. However, if you keep your mind on how hungry you are when you fast, you will miss what the Lord is trying to do. Jesus said, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4).

You can live without bread. Jesus fasted forty days and nights, and so can we. Drink plenty of water to flush the poison out of your system. Many doctors encourage fasting, declaring it is good for one’s health. Fasting brings blessings; people have been healed of all kinds of diseases as a result of Bible fasting.

Make it a joy to fast because you are pleasing God. Think upon Him; draw close to Him on a fast. Of course, you will have to battle the flesh. Three days of fasting can give you a headache, but when you go beyond, it will get better. Your stomach needs to adjust to being without food.

Put self under subjection to the Holy Spirit, humble self before the Lord. In order to conquer self, you must deny self. As long as you do not deny self, you will not move closer to the Lord. To live in His presence in fastings, you will have to battle at times. You may have to fight sickness, but the Lord will help you. Use your mind with the Holy Spirit and you know you will be all right. The headache, the pain in the stomach will leave you; you are going to reach the Lord for your petition because He promised. You are not dining on food; you are feeding the inner man on the promises of God. His promises give life. Everything you need you find in the promises of God. The new and living way is living by His promises. In fasting, live in the Word of God.

If you just read the Bible as you would a newspaper article you are not especially interested in, you will not benefit from it. It isn’t a matter of how much of the Bible you have read, it is a matter of how much the Holy Spirit has been able to teach, to serve you from the Bible. You may think you need to read a chapter a day, but actually one verse may be what the Lord wants to use to deal with you. Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (II Timothy 2:15). Be diligent in studying the Word and rightly dividing the Word of truth. When the Holy Spirit is dealing with you, He usually doesn’t lead you to read chapter after chapter. He settles you down with one verse, even one phrase. Then He will reach for another scripture and another, bringing them together on that one subject to give you understanding. This is where the wisdom and knowledge of God enters.

Study the Scriptures. Go before the Lord and study His Word. When I go into the presence of the Holy Spirit, learning, He doesn’t move on me to read many chapters. He takes me here and there, connecting thoughts and adding to them, or else He settles me on one verse and feeds me all kinds of thoughts I never had before.

Check what you hear with the Word of God. If it is not in harmony with God’s Word, then don’t accept it. What you accept must be thus saith the Lord. Not being able to rightly divide the truth is the reason so many people have failed God. They didn’t check on the preacher or the teacher to see if his teachings were in agreement with all the Word of God.

The Holy Spirit is to be your teacher, your guide. He will bear witness, when you have the right kind of mind, if what you hear is the truth. The Bible is exciting.

The Bride will dine with the Lord as she lives in His presence. She will slip away with the Lord, praying, Holy Spirit, cleanse my mind so I can think right. Cleanse my mind from all the trouble, all the oppressing things going on today. Oh, Lord, I can’t do it within my own strength. Lord take it all away. The Lord will wipe the oppression away and give you a mind of peace, His peace.

In His presence is joy everlasting, peace, contentment. When your mind is cluttered and you try to pray, it doesn’t work very well. Let the Holy Spirit clear the mind for you. If your mind is blended with the Holy Spirit, He will flush the mind with the truth, flush all the clutter away as though it never happened. His love will heal the hurt so you can enjoy your time with the Lord. When you drag ugly people with you into the prayer closet, you are robbed of your time with the Lord. Go before Him and let the Holy Spirit clear the mind of everything unwholesome, every despairing thought that would bring oppression and depression, every harsh word spoken to you. The Lord can feel your hurt, and His great love shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Ghost can heal the hurt, take away the harshness. Now you are left with the peace of the Lord, the mind of Jesus, and you are enjoying your prayer time. The Lord is giving you answers.

The Early Church members were full of answers because their minds were blended with the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Truth. The lack of the anointing, however, hinders people in finding answers. Some people are forever searching for answers to little problems; they let everything bother them. It should not be, saith the Lord. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee (Isaiah 26:3). How can you keep your mind stayed on the Lord? By blending your mind with the Holy Spirit, not with people and their opinions. Blend your mind with the Spirit of Truth and you will have the Spirit of God’s peace, love and joy. He lifts you out of depression and oppression. The Spirit lets you know that there is nothing to be depressed about when you are God’s child. You are on your way to Heaven; one day it will be yours. In the meantime, you have all the help you need.

Don’t pine about those who have disappointed you. Thank God that Jesus became your Savior, that you are a son or daughter of God, a joint-heir with Jesus. You are in the family of God. When parents or children or friends forsake you, the Lord will take you up, hold you in His arms of love, cradle you to His bosom until all the hurt leaves. His love flows to His children. Love in His presence; seek His face; know He answers prayers. The mind has much to do with prayers getting through.

Do you have that blend of the mind with the Holy Spirit? If not, let me pray with you. Oh, God, save my soul! Forgive me of my sins. I’m so sorry that I sinned against you, but I have come home. I’m going to serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins, all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in!

If you meant that prayer, He has come. Start reading your Bible. The Holy Spirit will feed you, magnify the Word to your soul, your mind. No one can magnify the Word the way the Holy Spirit can. No one can let you know more about the Word than the Holy Spirit Himself. Everyone who will obey God and yield to Him can have the Holy Spirit.

You who are sick and afflicted, know that the Lord said, I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26). Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to-day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8). The same miracles Jesus did yesterday, He will do today. He is the same. And with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). I am not a healer; I’m a believer. I believe in the power of prayer. God’s gifts operate through my life, but it is the Holy Spirit who operates them, not I. All the honor and glory for His healing go to Him. I am just an instrument of clay that God has chosen to pour His power through to work His will. Are you ready to be healed of cancer, arthritis, diabetes or whatever disease or affliction you have? Are you ready to have that little child healed? Lord, in obedience to your Word, I bring the people to you. I know you will heal the people. Form your supernatural gift of miracles and from your gifts of healing it comes. In the name of your Son Jesus and through the power of the Holy Ghost, heal! Heal in the all mighty name of Jesus!

The holy power is flowing. If you believed that prayer, the power has gone into your body or into your child’s body. Watch all signs of improvement. Write and tell me what the Lord has done for you. Blessing upon you; Jesus loves you and I love you, too. You are special to God.

Yes, saith the Spirit of the Lord: I am dealing with you to bring you into my greatness. I am teaching you to take you into my great spiritual Canaan. I am teaching you to bring you out of the wilderness and bring you into my mighty power so that I can use you in any way I want to use you in this your final hour. Trust my Spirit. And if you will trust my Spirit, then you will yield to my Spirit. And when you don’t yield to my Spirit, you’re not trusting my Spirit. But if you will yield to my Spirit, then my Spirit can flow my greatness into your mind, and into your mind will go more and more of my greatness. And that greatness of mine that I’ve already given to you that’s in your soul, my Spirit will serve it to you. All of that that I have given you in the past that you have kept, my Spirit will serve it, but He will serve you more and more and more. Trust in your Lord. And if you will love your Lord with all of your mind, you will trust me, saith the Lord.

Glorify the holy name of the Lord! Tell Him you want to do His whole will in this last hour, to pray, live close to Him. You want to help pull Heaven down upon those who don’t know Him, to help send the light to them. In that light are the miracles, the deliverances they need. Love will lift them just like love lifts you. Daily pull Heaven down on them. Honor the Lord, praise His holy name, for He is your strength, hope, trust, grace, faith, your everything as you let the Holy Spirit blend you mind with the mind of Jesus.
