The Lord has told me that the battles of the mind will be the most ferocious battles God’s people will face in this final hour and that they will have plenty of them. If you are a child of God today, you are going to be tried in unbearable ways; so you must get ready. When you are being battled in your mind, the Lord warned you that you may feel as if some strange thing has happened to you. Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you (I Peter 4:12).

At times, you may feel as if you are in an arena with roaring lions, but the Bible says you can be an overcomer. And they [the saints of God] overcame him [the devil] by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death (Revelation 12:11). “The word” mentioned here is the Word of God they put in their testimony and used daily, and you must use it, too.

Let the Spirit Fight Your Battles

Some of you have been trying to fight your own battles of the mind; but God wants you to know that the battles of the mind are for the Holy Spirit to fight, not you. When the Holy Spirit lives within you, He will flow the greatness of God from your soul into your mind. When you are troubled, He will flush out all the tormenting thoughts and immediately replace them with edifying thoughts of God. He will fill your cup so full that you will be busy serving what He gives you rather than being worried about what was troubling you.

A good thought of God can always shoot down a bad thought, so you must take time to receive God’s thoughts because that is the secret to receiving the help you need from the Holy Spirit. The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us (Romans 5:5). If the Spirit can flow the love of God into your mind, He can flow anything else you need from your soul into your mind, too; but those things must first be in your soul. If you just yield to Him, He will flow the wisdom and knowledge of God to you so you will not make all the mistakes you have made in the past.

Jesus said, He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38). For this water to be able to flow from your soul into your mind, you must allow the Holy Spirit to flush your mind so it will be ready to receive that divine flow. Then the mighty rivers of love, peace, joy, contentment, miracles and so many other divine things can flow freely; and that greatness will pour out through you to others.

If you do not use the joy in your soul, it cannot give strength to your body as the Bible says it will. The joy of the LORD is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Because the Bride will use that joy, she will have the strength to do the work of her Lord and to bring in the harvest. The Lord told me that He wants His people to do His work and not constantly be fighting battles of the mind in this final hour.

Accept Only God’s Thoughts

The Lord let me know that He gets no glory out of the battles of the mind and that they come straight from the devil, but Satan will worry you to death if you let him. He will make you think things about people that are not true, or he will make you think you are deceived when you are not. That is why you must know the devil’s thoughts are false, and you must be aware of what he is trying to do to you.

When the Lord forgives us, He throws our sins into the sea of forgetfulness. He will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea (Micah 7:19). When the Lord saves you, He forgives you of everything; so when the devil tries to torment you with things you did before you were saved, you must not listen. When you know that the divine blood covers you, you can shout, “Hallelujah!” in the devil’s face; and he will flee.

At other times, the devil will try to flatter you and make you think you are something great when you are not; so you must stay in the Word. It does not matter what the devil or man says about something because the Bible says, Let God be true, but every man a liar (Romans 3:4). The devil tries to confuse your mind; however, the Bible says, God is not the author of confusion, but of peace (I Corinthians 14:33).

When you keep your eyes on Jesus, He will keep you in perfect, divine peace. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Heaven’s peace is beyond human thinking; and if you don’t have it, it is because you don’t have spiritual sight or you are not using it. You can believe for and have divine peace when you are living by faith. The just shall live by faith (Galatians 3:11).

Then you must think on the things God wants you to. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8). If you fail to think on those things, you will think on other things that are likely to trouble you.

The Truth Conquers Fear

The devil works through fear; but Jesus said, Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27). You must get rid of your doubts and fears and make no room for them. The Bible says, For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7). If you can yield to fear, you can yield to love because divine love is greater than fear; so you never have to fear the devil. Jesus brought freedom, liberty and victory over all the powers of the devil; and you must believe that.

The Bible says, There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear (I John 4:18). The only fear the Lord wants us to have is godly fear, which is godly respect. But the LORD your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies (II Kings 17:39).

The devil works through your imagination, and he does it in such a cunning way. He will try to get you to imagine things about yourself or others that are not true, but he will make them seem so real to you. The devil can weaken your mind until you think you know the truth; but he has deceived you, saith the Lord. God told me this would be the most deceiving age that has ever been, but you cannot let the devil or people deceive you.

When you live in an imaginary world of fear, the devil is operating more of your world than the Lord is; but the Bible says, Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (II Corinthians 10:5).

But God can work with your imagination, too; and if you have a vivid imagination, it can help you use more faith to know that the Lord is always with you. He said, Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen (Matthew 28:20).

The Devil Never Quits

When you listen to the devil, he will grind you down. You want to get the battle off your mind, but you can’t. God revealed that some of you are battling so greatly in your mind that it affects your nervous system, and that can really hinder you both physically and spiritually. Destroying your nervous system is just one of the devices the devil uses to distress you and keep you down; so when you feel that your nerves are getting bad, fall down on your knees and ask the Lord to re-create them, and He will do it.

If you don’t do that, the devil will get you to the place where you cannot sleep. You will have no life; you will dread to face the day, and you will dread for night to come again. That is why the Lord is pouring out His power and His great anointings to His children. You must take them into your soul and then turn your mind over to the Holy Spirit so He can use that power of God on your mind.

Think of your mind as a small cup and your soul as the big reservoir. Your soul is so big that it can hold all of Heaven; so you must fill it up with divine grace, love, peace, goodness and mercy. Then the Holy Spirit pours all of that divine greatness from your soul into your mind, so why do you let the devil fill your mind instead of letting the Holy Ghost fill it?

The Bible tells us that we must take on the mind of Christ. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5). You have to come into the knowledge of that mind of Christ and know how it worked in Jesus when He was here. You must think like Jesus, act like Jesus and serve others like He did. Thus saith the Lord, that is why the Bride must have the mind of Christ in this final hour. He had a human mind, but it was kept by the Holy Ghost; and the Spirit will always be there to help you, too.

When Paul wrote, We have the mind of Christ (I Corinthians 2:16), he was saying it was available to us; so we must take on divine love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, self-control, compassion, mercy, forgiveness, obedience, wisdom, understanding, grace, righteousness, godliness and holiness. Paul took on the mind of Christ, and you must, too; and you must never give it up.

Let the Spirit Lead You

When Jesus was on Earth, He had the same inabilities and weaknesses that people have; so He had to receive the Holy Ghost. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he [John] saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased (Matthew 3:16,17). Then the Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness to fast. Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil (Matthew 4:1).

The Holy Ghost will lead the Bride to fast, too. She will give Him complete control over her ways every day, and she will recognize His great leadership. She will know that He is the servant who is getting her ready to meet her Groom in the air.

After Christ’s fast was over, the devil came against Him to torment Him. And when he [Jesus] had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:2-4).

Jesus stood before the devil as a man, and He could have bowed to him; but He didn’t. Instead, He yielded to the Word He had within Him, and He pumped that Word out to the devil. Then He went forth in the power of the Spirit, and the Holy Ghost was able to clear His mind completely as the Word flowed through it. As the Word flows through the Bride’s mind, the Spirit will keep her mind clear, too.

After Jesus had won the victory over the devil in the wilderness, the Bible says, And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him [Jesus] for a season (Luke 4:13). Notice it says “for a season.” When you get victory over the devil in something, he will back off from you for a little while; but he will return just as he returned later to tempt Jesus. However, while he is gone, it will give you time to reload Heaven’s greatest weapon, the divine blood gun, and surround your mind with the divine blood.

In this last hour, the Holy Ghost will protect the Bride more than He has been able to protect any group of people since the beginning of the Church because she will yield so completely to Him. He will be her comforter, her teacher, her guide and her helper. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:26). Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13). You must make all of that possible by yielding to the Lord, by keeping your soul pure, clean and holy and by filling it with the greatness of God.

Use Divine Protection over the Devil

Thus saith the Lord, the battles of the mind are all works of the devil; and there are no exceptions. However, Jesus came to destroy all the works of the devil. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (I John 3:8). God sent Jesus to Earth to die on a cruel Cross for you; so when you are being tormented, ask God to destroy those works of the devil that are hindering you.

You cannot defeat the devil with your own physical strength, but you can defeat him when you yield your strength and yourself to God. Then you must use the spiritual armor that Jesus brought. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17).

You must put on that armor every morning just like you put on your clothes. Then you will know that with the Lord’s faith, love and divine blood, you are more than a match for the devil. Righteousness brings great strength because it is the power and greatness of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

The devil will never stop trying to tempt you, so you must know yourself and be able to guard against him. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves (II Corinthians 13:5). How do you examine yourself?—with the Word; it has everything you need. The Bible says, Know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). Jesus was the Word made flesh; and He said, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). You can have more life than you can ever use.

God’s people are going to be severely tried in this last hour, but the Lord said He would always be with them. I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee (Hebrews 13:5). When you have a need, thus saith the Lord, He will hand you more divine faith, more divine power or more of anything you need. The Lord promised to supply all of your needs. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Sarah Had Mind Battles

Abraham certainly had battles of the mind, but he had to get rid of them before he could use the faith of God. The Lord had promised Abraham that he would have a son by Sarah, his wife, even though she was almost a hundred years old; but Abraham did not stagger at God’s promise. He [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God (Romans 4:20).

The Bride will not stagger in doubt either, but even a little seed of unbelief will cause battles of the mind. If you are afraid that God will not do what He promised or that something bad will happen, then depression and oppression will move in; and the devil will steal your joy.

Sarah staggered at God’s promise; and she had such terrible battles of the mind that when she heard the angel tell Abraham she would have a child, she laughed out loud. She definitely did not believe that a woman who was nearly 100 years old could have a baby; but when the angel heard her laugh, he rebuked her. Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh (Genesis 18:15). Sarah even lied to the angel.

The Lord never talked about Sarah’s great faith; but He will talk about the Bride’s great faith, great love and other great characteristics because she will have the same characteristics and personality Jesus had. Just as the Holy Ghost blended with the human spirit in Jesus to make His beautiful personality, the Holy Ghost will blend your human spirit with divinity to give you that same beautiful personality. That is why you cannot be weighed down with battles of the mind.

Peter Was Delivered

The Bride is being made Holy Ghost conscious just like the Early Church was. Those disciples evangelized the known world in a little over thirty years because each member of that Church gave over to the Holy Ghost. The great impact they made on people was amazing seeing that Jesus, whom they represented, and His doctrine were despised by nearly everybody; and He had died a hideous death.

The members of the Early Church were very bold, and the Bride will be, too. Some of those disciples lost their lives because of their boldness, and others were thrown into prison; but they paid the price. When you study those who suffered so much, you know that they must have allowed the Holy Ghost to purge them of their mind battles.

Peter let the Spirit purge his mind, and that is why he was able to fall asleep in prison knowing he was going to be killed the next day. And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison (Acts 12:6). If that had been some of us, we would have been wide-awake, jumped at every little noise and been battling in our minds about how our loved ones were going to make it without us.

Peter did not do that because he had turned all his battles over to the Holy Spirit, and he was ready to die for the sake of Christ. Jesus had become his example in life as well as in death, and Peter knew he had the same Holy Ghost and the same divinity dwelling on the inside of him; so he had a clear mind.

When an angel came to rescue Peter, he was resting in such a peaceful way that the angel had to wake him up. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me (Acts 12:7,8). The angel led Peter through the prison and out the main gate to freedom. The guards and the chains were still there, and the gates were still shut and locked; but Peter was gone.

Because the ultimate power was working in Peter, his deliverance was beautifully done by God; and there will be many deliverances for the Bride in this her final walk, too. The Lord will reveal His glory through her, and people will have to take notice and recognize that something is different about her.

Stand Still and Listen

Moses and the Israelites had many battles of the mind after leaving Egypt. The Lord had performed miracle after miracle for them before they left; but when it came time for their final miracle of deliverance, they were afraid. The Israelites were on the shore of the Red Sea, and Pharaoh’s army was coming after them. Then God told Moses to tell the people, Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever (Exodus 14:13).

When Moses was able to get the people quiet, the words that God had spoken to them were able to sink in. Then the Holy Spirit was able to use those words to flush out their minds, and the miracle took place. The ultimate power of God flowed, and the waters of the Red Sea separated. And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left (Exodus 14:21,22). The people saw the glory of the Lord.

The Lord could not purge the people’s minds until they had yielded to Him, and the Holy Spirit must also have your attention to be able to purge your mind from whatever is troubling you. The Lord told us to be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10). The Holy Ghost can teach you when you are still in His presence; but when your mind is clouded, upset or filled with unpleasant things, He cannot direct you. You have to focus on the Spirit, on the divine blood of Jesus and on the great things of divinity that are in your soul.

The Latter Rain Is Here

When you are having battles of the mind, it is the devil talking to your mind; and he can get through to you with fear, depression, doubt and weakness. That is when you have to get quiet and listen to what the Spirit is saying. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith (Revelation 2:7,11,17,29; 3:6,13,22). This is the hour of miraculous manifestations for the Bride; so when you listen to the Spirit, it will be your hour of victory, of deliverance and of miracles and healings.

You must believe that you are living in the last, pouring-out time. Jesus said, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh (Acts 2:17). The Early Church had the first outpouring of the Spirit, but the Lord said that the second outpouring would be the greatest. Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month (Joel 2:23). Divine miracles and power from On High are available; you just have to take them from the table of God.

God is pouring out everything you need without measure, and you must soak it up in your soul so you can keep it. Things that you only allow to get into your mind can be jarred out by a loud noise, a sudden emergency or even just a headache; but the things that are in your soul cannot be touched by anything unless you sin against God. When you are saved, your soul is sealed with divine blood by the Holy Ghost; and it becomes like God Himself. Nobody can break that seal unless you willingly break it. We do not have that same blood seal for the mind, but we do have the Holy Ghost to oversee our minds and to take care of them.

You can yield to the Spirit if you want to, but the devil will make you think you can’t because he can bind your mind. However, he cannot bind your soul, so you must know what is in it and whether or not you have salvation, redemption and the divine blood.

Job Had a Yielded Mind

Job had a good, godly mind; and that is why the Lord could say to the devil, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil (Job 1:8)?

Then God allowed the devil to take away all of Job’s material possessions, to kill his children and to afflict his body. So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown (Job 2:7). Job was in great pain, but he knew he had lived perfect and upright before God; and he did not blame Him for anything, The LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD (Job 1:21). Job yielded to the Spirit of God, and the Spirit flowed what was in his soul into his mind. Then He kept it flowing or Job never would have survived.

Job was already going through enough; but then along came his wife with her cluttered up mind and said, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. But he [Job] said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh (Job 2:9,10).

Job’s so-called friends were no better than his wife. Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him (Job 2:11). However, instead of comforting him, they talked about doubt and fear; and at one point, Job said, To him that is afflicted pity should be shewed from his friend; but he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty (Job 6:14).

We know that Job had let the Spirit flush his mind because he said, Behold, my witness is in heaven, and my record is on high (Job 16:19). He also said, I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth (Job 19:25). Job had all of that in his soul. Later, Job said, He knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold (Job 23:10).

God finally brought Job out of everything when the Lord said to him, Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me (Job 38:3). The Lord continued to talk to Job, and he was ready to listen with a clear mind. All he had been through was enough to have taken his mind; but because the Spirit of God was in it, the devil could not take it.

The Word Keeps the Devil Out

If Job could yield to the Lord with an uncluttered mind in the condition he was in and still be a godly witness, so can you. You do not have time to struggle to get things out of your mind because God is calling you to do His work, and you can only do it through His power and greatness.

Jesus did the works of His Father through the power of Heaven; and He told the disciples, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (John 14:12). They would do those greater works through the power of the Holy Ghost whom Jesus was going to ask His Father to send to them. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever (John 14:16). The Holy Ghost is greater than any power in the world. Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world (I John 4:4).

For the Spirit to be able to work, you must hide the Word in your soul like the Psalmist did. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee (Psalm 119:11). You hide the Word in there through love and faith, and the Holy Spirit knows just how to use it because it is divinity just like He is. Then He has everything He needs to work for your mind so that your mind can work for Jesus.

When you are having battles of the mind, you cease to use much of the Word or maybe none at all; and then the devil can worry you to death. Try hugging your Bible to your heart and let it quiet the fears around you and dispel the darkness. If you can feel the calm of the Word in physical book form, how much more so will the living Word on the inside of your soul work for you through divine blood? Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). The Holy Ghost takes the Word right from the mouth of God and pumps it into your mind, so you must know it will work.

Follow Jesus

Today, the Bride is going to be delivering people just like her Lord did. He is her example, and she will follow His steps. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps (I Peter 2:21).

Serving the divine Spirit of God, the divine Word of God, the divine love, peace and greatness of God is what will deliver people; you and I cannot do it. The Holy Spirit will flow forth rivers of joy, peace, love and the great power of God from our souls; and those who want it can certainly have it. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely (Revelation 22:17). All people are free to come to God to be delivered and to receive the liberties of Heaven made available through the blood of Jesus; they just have to yield to that blood. No matter how devil possessed people might be, they can be set free through the power of the blood.

After being set free, they must fill their souls with divine, eternal things sent down from Heaven. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17).

If you get a gift that has any spots, wrinkles or imperfections, then it did not come from God; but the devil will try to fool you into receiving his package. How many times has your mind signed for the wrong package; and when you opened it, it contained one of the devil’s bombs? Where was your peace then?

The Bride cannot let that happen because she has only a limited amount of time to bring in the harvest in this final hour. As she yields to the Holy Spirit, He will see to it that she gets the right packages—those that come from Heaven and can be kept in her soul to be used daily.

Gideon’s Battle of Obedience

Gideon was a man who loved and honored God, yet he knew something was wrong when the Lord was not blessing Israel like He had in the past. And Gideon said unto him [the angel of the Lord], Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of (Judges 6:13)? Today, people will say they are highly favored of God; but if they are, I say, “Where are the miracles?” The Bible teaches that God gives miracles to those who obey Him.

When Gideon had asked that question, an angel of the Lord was visiting him and told him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour…Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites (Judges 6:12,14). Gideon then went and gathered an army of 32,000, and everything went so well that he had no battles of the mind; and he felt like he was really in the hands of Jehovah God.

But God was not finished: And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me. Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand (Judges 7:2,3). Twenty-two thousand turned back because they had fear and disobedience in their souls.

Gideon pulled himself together; but he was having mind battles, and the Lord knew it. Nevertheless, the Lord told Gideon that he still had too many men. And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go (Judges 7:4). After the Lord had tried the men again, Gideon was left with only 300.

That must have given Gideon a horrible mind battle, but the Lord wanted to calm that battle; so the LORD said unto him [Gideon], Arise, get thee down unto the host; for I have delivered it into thine hand. But if thou fear to go down, go thou with Phurah thy servant down to the host: And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host (Judges 7:9-11). The Lord wanted to assure Gideon that He would deliver Israel.

Victory Was on Its Way

Gideon obeyed God and went to spy on the enemy’s camp, and he overheard one of the soldiers talking. And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along (Judges 7:13).

Then he heard another soldier interpret that dream. And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host (Judges 7:14). Immediately, Gideon’s mind cleared because he had given it over to the Word and to the promises of God.

After that, Gideon did what God wanted him to with great peace of mind, even though he and his men would have to go down on the enemy without one weapon. Each man had only a trumpet and a clay pitcher with a light in it, but God used those things to scare the enemy away and give Israel the victory. And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon. And they stood every man in his place round about the camp; and all the host ran, and cried, and fled (Judges 7:20,21).

The Gospel trumpet and the Jesus light will do the work today, too. Each member of the bridal company will stand unafraid with the light of the Gospel inside; and when she lifts up her voice, the Gospel trumpet will sound out to the ends of the Earth. The greatness of God will go forth to people in her voice, in her expressions, in her hands and in her every action just like it did through Jesus. God’s enemies will hear that Gospel trumpet, too; and it will shake them up.

The Bride will carry the great promises of God with signs and wonders, and the Lord will reveal Himself to her whenever she needs help from Him. She will not have to struggle and wait for days like Gideon did; she will get help right away if she has her mind in order and is prepared for battle.

Daniel Had a Clear Mind

Think about Daniel when he was cast into the lions’ den. If his mind had been foggy, he would not have slept a wink. He would have been scared to death; and every time one of the lions yawned, he would have thought, “This is it; I have had it!” But that is not what happened. When the king went to check on Daniel the next morning, he cried, Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions? Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live forever. My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt (Daniel 6:20-22).

That angel of the Lord is a type of the Holy Ghost; and every lions’ den the Bride goes into, so to speak, the Holy Ghost Himself will be in there with her. Her mind will be clear so the Lord can give her the same perfect deliverance He gave Daniel.

The Hebrew Boys Would Not Bow

The Hebrew boys could have had many battles of the mind when King Nebuchadnezzar declared that all those who did not fall down and worship a golden image when special music was played would be cast into a fiery furnace. However, the Hebrew boys worshiped God, so they would not bow; and when the king questioned them, they answered, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up (Daniel 3:16-18).

The Hebrew boys would not have been able to stand if they were having any battles of the mind. They knew they might meet death inside the furnace, but it did not matter to them because they had put themselves into God’s hands; and they had clear minds that were thinking like God thinks.

Then the king had them thrown into the furnace. These three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God (Daniel 3:23-25). Because their minds were clear, they saw Jesus at once.

Do you see four as the Hebrew boys did? The Bride will stand today because she knows the Lord, the Fourth Man, is with her both outside and inside the furnace; so she cannot fail, and the fire cannot burn her. When the Hebrew boys were thrown into that fiery furnace, they entered the victory zone; and the Bride is now entering the victory zone, too.

Listen Only to the Word

The Bride must never listen to idle talk or gossip in this final hour because that is devil talk, and God hates it. She must stand up and say, “I don’t want to hear it”; and the Lord will be pleased. Jesus said, But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment (Matthew 12:36). I never want to hear what the devil has to say or anything that would not edify me, bless me and help me to do what God wants me to do.

God said, Be ye holy; for I am holy (I Peter 1:16). If God tells you to do something, you can do it in perfection or He would not have told you to do it. Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount, Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48). How do you know you are perfect?—through the Word. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (II Timothy 2:15). Study the Word and let the Holy Spirit give you understanding of it.

The Lord works through the mind; so if a person’s mind is not functioning properly, he will not work as he should. Your mind must be used in everything you do—choosing what you reach out for, what you wear, what you eat and so many other things—therefore, if your mind is not in good shape, you will make many mistakes. But the Bride will not make mistakes because she will follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

Elijah Trusted God

Elijah had such a clear mind before God that he could stand in front of King Ahab and say, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word (I Kings 17:1). Some of us would have been scared to death to tell Ahab that it was not going to rain for a few days let alone years, and we would have had battles of the mind wondering what we were going to eat during that time; but Elijah depended on the promise God had given him: Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there (I Kings 17:3,4).

Elijah had a wonderful time by the brook where God was talking with him and directing him; but when the brook dried up, did Elijah have a terrible battle of the mind? No, because his clear mind heard the Lord telling him to go to a widow woman’s house; so on he went. However, when he arrived there, the woman was out gathering sticks so she could make one last little cake before she and her son would starve to death.

That was a huge battle of the mind for any loving mother to have; but because she was a good woman who had God’s Word in her soul, the Lord was able to pump that Word right into her mind. Therefore when Elijah gave her a promise of God and directions from the Lord, she went into action.

And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah (I Kings 17:13-16). The Bride will have God’s Word in her heart and follow His directions, too.

Elijah Listened to the Devil

God used Elijah to perform many great miracles, and I Kings 18 tells of how God used him to kill 450 prophets of Baal; but even after all of that greatness, Elijah did not take time to reason with God when he heard that Ahab’s wife, Jezebel, was coming after him. And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword. Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time. And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life (I Kings 19:1-3).

Elijah did not seek divine help but instead ran into the wilderness and fell down under a juniper tree crying, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers (I Kings 19:4). When the devil can get into the mind of a child of God, it holds back God’s answers for him.

But God had mercy on Elijah and sent an angel, a type of the Holy Ghost, to serve him a hot meal from Heaven and watch over him while he slept. And as he [Elijah] lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat. And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again (I Kings 19:5,6). The angel woke Elijah a second time and fed him another meal, and he traveled in the strength of those two meals forty days and nights until he arrived on the mount of God. There, he finally listened to the Lord because he had the Word in his heart. Then he went on to do more wonderful works for the Lord before God took him to Heaven alive in a chariot of fire.

God Works for Your Good

The Old Testament is full of miraculous things God did before the Holy Ghost’s dispensation; so now that the Holy Ghost is here, you must know that He will do anything for you. If your soul is filled with divinity and you have the Holy Ghost living within, He is ready to work for you. So when you have something in your mind that bothers you, don’t struggle with it; just turn it over to the Holy Ghost and go on to do what God wants you to do. Then you will not worry about tomorrow. Jesus said, Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself (Matthew 6:34).

You must know that the Word says, All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). When you are called according to the Lord’s purpose, you must know that the devil cannot take your life until the Lord is ready for you to go home. If you get sick, remember that God said, I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26).

This is the final hour; and thus saith the Lord, your mind is going to be battled again and again. However, after all God has given you in this message, you must now turn those battles over to the Holy Ghost so He can give you victory. The moment you yield to the Spirit, He will purge your mind of whatever is in it; but you have to put your trust in divinity and let it go for that to happen. God’s great power is what you need to overcome the battles of the mind; and it is available to you if you will fast, pray and live in the Word. Then you must use that power, or it will not do you any good.

The final and greatest miracle for the Bride of Christ will be her being changed in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (I Corinthians 15:51,52). It is the truth that will change her through the power of the Holy Ghost.

But before that day, the members of the bridal company must bring in the final harvest. He wants to use the Bride just like He uses His own hands, and He will be able to do that because she will live in love in perfection and abound daily in the grace of her Lord. However, the enemy will also be there to do everything he can to get her mind off of the Lord and on other things so God cannot use her.

You Need Jesus

If you are lost and undone without God, in a backslidden condition or lukewarm, you need Jesus because you cannot afford to be left when He returns for His Bride. Do not let the devil deceive your mind and make you think you are all right when you are not. If God’s greatness is not in your soul and you are not living holy, you are not all right.

You have to be made new. Therefore if any man [That means woman, too.] be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Corinthians 5:17). When I was saved, I became brand new. I didn’t think the same, talk the same or walk the same. I spent many hours with Jesus, and I loved it so much; and that can happen to you, too.

Lift up your hands right now and say this prayer: Oh, God, save my soul. I am so sorry that I have sinned against you; but I have come home, and I am going to serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in! If you believe that, Jesus has come in; and you can now say, Hallelujah! He has come. Hallelujah! Jesus is mine.

Let Healing Flow to You

Let Jesus shed abroad His greatness in your mind daily now, and then that blood will flow to bring you healing. If you or any of your loved ones are sick and afflicted, you can all be healed. I am not your healer; I am just the Lord’s believer, and the Holy Spirit operates the Lord’s divine gifts in my life. Lord, I bring the sick and afflicted to you just like you ordained me to do. I bring those with heart trouble, lung trouble, cancer, diabetes or any other disease, those who are crippled and little ones who have just part of a brain. Lord, some of them will never be normal unless your great power moves upon them. I bring them all to you as the servant of the living God to whom you have given your gifts for the healing and deliverance of people. Through the power of the Holy Ghost and in the name of Jesus, I inject miracle, healing power into their bodies. Heal! in the almighty, holy name of Jesus.

God’s healing power is now flowing to you from His supernatural gifts. Through His divine faith and love, soak up this power and watch it get you or your loved ones well. Remember, With God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26); and Jesus said, Only believe (Mark 5:36).

Don’t let the devil battle your mind and tell you that you won’t get well. Let the Holy Spirit shed abroad in your mind God’s love, God’s faith, God’s healing power and God’s promises for you to be well. And with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). These things will give you a clear mind that God can work with, and they will give you the joy of Heaven as you come out of your afflictions.

Write or email and tell me what happened to you and your loved ones. God bless you.
