Snow was falling hard, and the roads were treacherous as we headed for the airport to begin our journey to Cape Town, South Africa…but it was all a part of God’s plan. Our takeoff was delayed because of the weather; but as we waited on board Star Triple Seven—the missionary airplane God so graciously provided to this worldwide outreach ministry—the Lord used Rev. Angley to deliver a very special message that we would not have received had our departure been on time. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).

“We are on our way after the devil,” Rev. Angley proclaimed. “We have him on the run, so we don’t have to worry about anything; and we don’t have time to listen to anything he has to say. The end–time children of God are the most important instruments God has ever had since Adam and Eve were in Eden. We must be in unity with Him so we can do whatever He wants. God needs every trained worker, and we must not fail. Thus saith the Lord, you have to enlarge your vision; keep your mind on that during this journey.”

God went on to say that souls were waiting for us. “Thus saith the Lord, they are waiting to hear. They don’t know what they are waiting for, but they will wake up to what they have been waiting for. You must tell them that Jesus is coming real soon and that they must hurry because they don’t have long.”

Then the Lord made Himself very real saying, “I am on board right now. If your eyes could be opened and you could behold as you are looking at the inside of this plane, you would see that the Lord thy God is here; my Son is here, and the Holy Ghost is here. Angels are on board with you now in the unity of love and fellowship and encouragement. I am Lord of all.”

God’s final words before we took off were, “This will spread like a great fire in a windstorm, saith the Lord.” Never on any previous missionary journey had we experienced such a personal visitation from the Lord.

Our Mission Began

This was our fourth trip to the Cape Town area of South Africa; and this year, our efforts were centered in the northern suburb of Elsies River, an area known for much gang activity and drugs. According to “The Mail & Guardian” (South Africa’s first online news source), it is one of the country’s worst violent crime areas; but God began to penetrate that darkness right away. In just our first few days of ministering to the people, eight members of two rival gangs gave their hearts to the Lord; and the entire community was talking about it. God’s prophecy of the Gospel spreading like wildfire was already coming to pass. For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass (Ezekiel 12:25).

False preachers had failed many of the people in Elsies River, so they were ignorant to the Gospel truth; but they were searching for the divine light just as Rev. Angley had prophesied they would be, and our tour members were leading souls to the Lord wherever they went.

One of our men was scheduled for a prison visit that was suddenly cancelled, but God is a master at using situations for His good; and He had a plan for him. The worker found an unexpected ride to the area of the town where our tour members were ministering to people on the streets; and shortly after stepping out of the car, he met a homeless backslider whose wife had left him. The man had hit rock bottom, and he seemed to be just waiting for someone to show him the way back to God; and our worker did that. Then the love of God turned the man’s overwhelming sadness and discouragement to joy and peace—a remarkable transformation.

In addition to our work with the people on the streets, we found favor in the educational community; and our tour members were welcomed into many schools. They were able to share the Gospel truth in nearly every classroom, and they always led the students in the sinners’ prayer. It was an experience those children will never forget.

At one high school, a teen–aged girl reported that her mother had received one of Rev. Angley’s blest cloths at a crusade service she had attended the previous year. The girl said that she had been having difficulty with her eyes; but after using that blest cloth her mother gave her, they became normal. God makes witnesses out of both the young and the old.

The remainder of our busy first week was filled with visits to three day care centers, one college, four clinics, a home for abused children and a home for the elderly—all of which enabled us to touch close to 5000 souls.

First Friday Service

Our tour members’ hard work during the week was focused on drawing people to the weekend services; and as we made last–minute preparations in Elsies River for our first service on Friday evening, a large, full moon shined bright and low in the clear sky as if to say that God was close at hand and in control of what was about to take place.

Rev. Angley began by telling the people a little bit about himself—that he had been raised a poor, farm boy in a Holy Spirit–filled home, that the Lord had given him an amazing vision of souls as a child which he was never able to get away from and that the Lord had made him whole when he was facing death at just 23 years of age. He told the people of his total dedication and consecration to the Lord, about the many long fasts the Lord has called him on—many of them going 40 days at a time—and about the humbling fact that the Lord has called him His prophet. “You needed to know a little bit about me,” Rev. Angley told the people, “so you will have no doubt about how God uses me.”

The crowd had been unusually quiet and reverent as they waited for Rev. Angley to arrive, and it had created an atmosphere in which God could begin moving for them right away. When Rev. Angley went on stage, he declared, “Miracles are taking place; touch yourself and be healed. Some of you will be testifying in the days to come of what you received this first night.”

Then God began to reveal some of those miracles: a lady received sight in her left eye; a terminal cancer victim was given life; the blood pressure of a person headed for a stroke was regulated, and an arthritis sufferer facing life in a wheelchair received freedom. A man who had severely injured his spine as a youngster was finally able to bend over and touch his feet, and an accident victim with severe back pain was told he would sleep through the night for the first time in four years.

Doctors had searched in 57 nations and could not find a cure for one man’s rare disease, but the Lord healed him instantly. Rev. Angley declared to a person with migraines, “You won’t have them anymore; and if the devil starts to give you another one, tell him that he is not that powerful. You can always withstand him because you have Heaven’s greatest weapon—the divine blood!” With God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37).

“Faith in God heals the sick,” Rev. Angley declared, “but you must cooperate with Him and have no doubt. God lets me use all the faith needed for the miracles of people who have never been taught the truth, but God expects those who have been taught right to use their faith, too. It is marvelous what the holy faith of God will do for people!”

As in past crusades, the Lord used an original song by Angel’s Grace Cathedral Choir about surrendering all to God to draw the people closer to the Lord. The anointing on that song is so powerful that it humbles even the hardest hearts and brings many to tears. After playing the song in this particular service, Rev. Angley warned, “There are 20 people who did not surrender all to the Lord. He is giving you one more chance, and it may be the last chance you will ever have.” Thankfully, they did surrender.

God dealt very personally with a 21–year–old AIDS victim who had allowed a drug addict to entice her away from Jesus. “It was the worst mistake you ever made,” Rev. Angley said. “That boy died, and you are headed for the grave, too. If you surrender all, you will walk out of here whole tonight. Don’t turn it down,” Rev. Angley said with tears streaming down his face, “because this may never be offered to you again.”

During the healing line, the tour members were rewarded with seeing the fruits of their labor when two men came to the service after receiving an invitation from some of our workers on the street. Both men were deaf in one ear, and both walked off the platform with a miracle.

God continued honoring the people’s faith and healing them even after Rev. Angley had left the platform. A young lady in the invalid section who had been unable to talk since suffering a stroke began to speak for the first time, and a woman who had been blind in her right eye for over 10 years received her sight.

First Saturday Service

The Cape Town wind was whipping when we arrived at the service grounds Saturday night; but when likened to the wind of the Spirit blowing, it was a perfect night to meet with the Lord. Many of the people in the crowd had seen the Lord perform miracles the night before, but God wanted them to know how to receive for themselves; so Rev. Angley began by saying, “It’s not hard to receive a miracle. God’s great love will heal anything, but you have to meet the Bible conditions if you want to receive. God heals those who will obey Him and give Him all of the honor and the glory.

“Angels will work in these services,” Rev. Angley continued, “and I can see them just like I can see you. They carry great power and faith; and as they touch some of you, you will be made whole.” God was preparing the people to receive whatever they needed.

The Cathedral Trio that travels with Rev. Angley carries the anointing of God in their voices, and their songs are of pure truth. When they sang a song about Jesus, the Healer, 15 people received instant miracles; and God continued to heal people throughout the service.

In that night’s message, Rev. Angley taught the people that to be just like Jesus, they must have the fruits of the Spirit. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law (Galatians 5:22,23). He told them, “You must sow peace and not strife…love and not confusion. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace (I Corinthians 14:33).

“To be like Jesus, you must have joy; and being happy in Jesus will give you strength. For the joy of the LORD is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Jesus was patient, humble and meek; and you have to learn to take things in this life just like He did, even if they are not fair. But you can’t have any of these divine fruits unless you live free from sin, and you can’t use the fruits without divine faith.”

After the service, Rev. Angley worked backstage with a severely tormented mother who was steeped in witchcraft and nearly out of her mind from seeing devils follow her everywhere she went. The devils that possessed her fought hard against God’s power and manifested themselves in hideous ways as Rev. Angley was casting them out; but through the power in the divine blood of Jesus, they had to go. As the devils were fleeing, Rev. Angley warned the people nearby to keep their minds on Jesus because devils that are cast out of one soul will seek to enter another soul; and the divine blood is our only protection. With the devils finally gone, that woman looked like a new person; and she returned the next night to give thanks unto the Lord for changing her life.

After two more amazing deliverances for drug addiction, Rev. Angley mentioned that all the effort and sacrifice that had gone into making the crusade possible would have been worth it if it had been for even just one of those souls.

First Sunday Service

The characteristic Cape Town wind was nearly nonexistent Sunday evening which brought about an unusual but welcome peace and calm to close out the first weekend. God was in control from the very beginning; and as soon as Rev. Angley stepped onto the platform, he began pointing out people in the audience who were dying and in need of miracles. God was offering them life, but most of them had strayed away from the Lord and needed to return to Calvary in order to receive. Rev. Angley said to one cancer victim, “You are a mother with small children, and they need you, saith the Lord; but you must serve God, or you will lose your miracle and die. Your doctors know there is no more hope for you, but you could be just the witness the Lord is looking for.”

Rev. Angley went on to explain, “The Lord is the one who makes us witnesses. After God had knocked Paul down into the dust, He said to him, Rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee (Acts 26:16). You have a responsibility to the One who went to the whipping post and paid the price for what you are about to receive to be His witness.”

Even unbelievers were being touched by God’s grace and mercy, and the Lord revealed that a grandfather in the audience who would have been dead in a few weeks was being healed because he was changing and accepting Jesus. Another unbeliever was crying out for the Lord to forgive him for his doubt, and the Lord heard his honest plea.

The Lord revealed to Rev. Angley that 57 people would receive a miracle as Tom Neale and Lisa DeRonde sang a stunning duet of How Great Thou Art. However, instead of letting them sing right away, Rev. Angley spent nearly 30 minutes expounding on the importance of holiness, the power of God’s anointing and the need for people to untie God’s hands in their lives…but it was all a part of God’s plan.

Through His great wisdom, the Lord had let Rev. Angley know that the 57 people who were to be healed still needed more faith and understanding before they could receive. When Tom and Lisa finally sang, not only did all 57 people receive a miracle just as the Lord had said they would, but 223 others also received a miracle for debilitating nervous conditions; and 927 were healed of arthritis. “The Lord knows all about us,” Rev. Angley said.

As the Cathedral Trio sang a very inspirational song about going to Heaven, 10 people gave their hearts to the Lord. “The spirit of that song got into them and moved them right into the arms of the Lord,” Rev. Angley explained. God can use the true Gospel message in any form to touch hearts and to heal people of all diseases. Then God swept through the crowd with a great wave of glory and spoke to the people saying, “I am the Lord, and I am here to do you good. I am here to deliver you from all sicknesses, all diseases and all sin.”

Rev. Angley’s message that night was “Let’s Journey with Jesus,” and he let the people know that they would have to walk with the Lord all the time. He pointed out that throughout the Bible, God and His Son had a hard time getting people to walk with them. The Israelites failed again and again, and even the 12 apostles would not always stay in step with Jesus when He was here. “Heaven is another country,” Rev. Angley explained to the people, “so you must have a passport to get there; but do you have the passport—Jesus?”

When the healing line began, Rev. Angley announced, “It’s miracle time here tonight!” And the Lord made that very apparent. When Rev. Angley prayed for a lady with a heart condition on the platform, 19 people in the audience also received heart miracles. Another 229 received miracles for various deadly diseases; and 175 were delivered from AIDS as the Lord said, “I am the Lord who healeth thee.” Five of the AIDS victims did not even know they had the disease, but our merciful God healed them because they were saved and honoring Him that night. “It is so simple to believe God when you live holy,” Rev. Angley declared.

After those merciful deliverances, the Lord uncovered several unholy souls. One man had stolen money from someone close to him; and Rev. Angley warned him, “You had better take heed because the Lord let me know that you will be uncovered if you don’t make it right.” Another man had made a business deal with his neighbor and then robbed him of his share, and the Lord revealed that the man would die from a deadly disease within six months if he didn’t make things right. “God looks at people’s hearts,” Rev. Angley said, “and He sees the corruption that is in them.”

Another person had planned to commit suicide that very night; but Rev. Angley said, “God got your attention and told you that if you would come to this service, He would set you free. A devil binds you, and what you were going to commit suicide over is not even true. Someone lied and told you that your mate had been unfaithful to you.” What a tragedy that suicide would have been, but God in His great mercy gave the person so many reasons to live.

At the end of the service, the Lord moved in a miraculous way in the invalid section. An elderly man in a wheelchair began to receive his sight; his wife received an instant miracle for arthritis, and a stroke victim stood in amazement as he moved his left arm and leg that had been paralyzed. It is indeed a day for miracles from On High!

Another Busy Week

Monday began another very busy week of touching every soul we could with the Gospel message. In addition to reaching out to people in the neighborhoods and market areas, each morning was filled with visits to schools. It is always amazing to us that a busload of our workers can walk into a public school and preach the truth and then watch students and staff members embrace it. In the second week alone, we were able to touch nearly 15,000 young souls with God’s love.

Tuesday included visits to two orphanages where over 200 children opened their hearts to the message of Jesus. Some of our ministry’s most dedicated young people went with us on this missionary journey, and they had sincerely prepared themselves for the Lord’s work. God must have been proud when several of them conducted the service at the second orphanage with the kind of love and compassion that can come only through the divine blood. God needs young people who will give their whole lives to the Lord because many times, they can get into the hearts of other young people when no one else can.

Thursday morning, Rev. Millar and Rev. Machamer, two of our associate pastors, led a small group to a large, busy clinic with plans to visit the AIDS patients; but the Lord had much more in store for them. When they arrived, people began asking for prayer before our workers had even stepped inside the clinic. Soon, several lines had formed; and the people continued to come for nearly two hours to get a touch from the Lord and to receive true salvation.

One woman’s faith rose so high as she watched what was going on that she brought her baby outside the clinic to receive prayer before the child was even treated by the doctors. A health care nurse left immediately after receiving prayer and returned with one of her clients whose baby was covered with sores. After her child had received prayer, the mother, who was a backslider, gloriously rededicated her life to the Lord; and with tears streaming down her face, she said she had been waiting to get back to the Lord but did not know how. The Lord told us that people would be waiting to receive, and that prophecy was being confirmed in a beautiful way.

One of our tour members who was at the clinic that day was overjoyed to meet a man he had ministered to the year before. The man had been possessed with many devils and was on the verge of killing his family, but the divine blood had transformed the lives of him and his family; and he was still living for the Lord. In a city as large as Cape Town, only God could have engineered such a meeting; and the man walked away with many teaching books that would enable him to continue growing in the Lord.

Before leaving the clinic, a few of our workers were eventually able to pray for the AIDS patients in the waiting room; and that completed a true miracle morning that was definitely ordered by the Lord.

Of course, the devil fights our work in every way he can; and our two associate pastors were unable to minister in the prisons the first week because an escaped prisoner had caused all of the prisons to be put on lock down. However, the power of God always prevails; and during the second week, they were able to make two visits to a juvenile prison and two visits to a women’s prison. Most of those inmates will never receive the truth in any other way; and they were so hungry for the Word that during one visit, even those who were not allowed to join the assembly pressed their faces to the windows to hear what our people had to say.

At the women’s prison, many of the inmates had become so hardened that they did not even seem to be human as they sat emotionless in their seats. However, after hearing about God’s great love in song and in word, they were ready to receive prayer; and many of them were broken and humbled as tears flowed down their faces.

While all of this was going on, our hard–working, set–up crew was busy at the crusade grounds building the stage and preparing the lighting and audio equipment needed for the weekend services; but they were also touching souls. In one instance, two women who had just been involved in a very violent scene at work, had quit their jobs. As they walked across the grounds, they encountered two of our men who not only prayed for their situation but also for their salvation.

On every missionary journey, our workers distribute thousands of pieces of literature containing the Gospel truth free of charge; and the Lord sees to it that not even stray pieces go to waste. A young pastor familiar with our ministry found one of our crusade service flyers lying by the side of the road; and later, he was thrilled to be able to make contact with our people and arrange to have a team of our tour members visit his church the coming Sunday morning.

Thursday Night Service

The Thursday night service was very unique in that between every song and every miracle, the Lord used Rev. Angley to pour knowledge and understanding into the people without them realizing it. God taught them how to receive miracles, how the Lord works through His servant Rev. Angley and how to be true witnesses for Him.

When Rev. Angley stepped onto the stage that night, he encouraged the people to praise the Lord proclaiming, “People get healed when they praise the Lord! That’s the way the blood works!

“You must know that God is the one who creates and re–creates. I have no secret powers of my own; all the miracles and healings come from Him. His power works through me because of much prayer, fasting and living in the Word and because I use the promises of God; but I am always careful to give Him all the praise.”

After an anointed song by the Cathedral Trio, Rev. Angley was overcome with the Spirit and declared, “The Lord just showed me a great wonder in Heaven, and I saw the miracle star appear so huge. That means there are going to be mass miracles tonight, and the glory of the Lord is already over you. If you need a serious operation, you can have it tonight!” And with that announcement, the people went wild with excitement.

Then the Lord revealed three cancer victims who were receiving miracles. To one of them, Rev. Angley said, “Your grandmother’s middle name started with an “S”, didn’t it? She was a good woman who believed in Bible holiness. She didn’t leave her grandchildren any money, but she left them a good heritage—the life of Jesus. She proved that a human being could live that life and accept what Jesus brought.” The Lord used that miracle to show what great power there is in the legacy of a true child of God.

In stark contrast to that beautiful testimony, Rev. Angley identified a person with AIDS who was living a lie. “The Lord is going to give you six months to make a wrong that you did right. The Lord has brought this situation before you again and again, but tonight will no doubt be your last chance. You thought you were home safe, and you have even laughed about what you did. Well, you may have put it over on family and friends, but you haven’t put it over on God.”

Following another song by the Cathedral Trio, 14 more miracles took place. Then Rev. Angley told the people to put their faith to the test and ask the Lord for a very special miracle. “It will happen to so many of you if you use the right kind of faith—working faith. If you don’t use your faith, it will become dead faith; and dead faith won’t do anything for you.”

God was still moving through the anointed voices of the Cathedral Trio; and after yet another song, Rev. Angley announced that 156 people had received the special miracle they had asked for. “God is at work making witnesses,” Rev. Angley proclaimed, “so be a Jesus witness and let people know what happened to you!”

Rev. Angley called for Sofiso Nakambule to join him on stage, and the young man gave a miraculous testimony of how the Lord had given him hearing and speech in a 2002 Swaziland crusade. The people rejoiced as he spoke, and they clearly saw that God’s miracles do last and that Sofiso has become an amazing witness for the Lord.

As Sofiso left the stage, the Lord spoke some startling words regarding His servant Rev. Angley saying, “I am here, saith the Lord. I am your God. I speak to my prophet, and I do everything that I tell him I will do. He is my true prophet. I trust him, and I tell him things that I don’t tell others. You can be blessed when I tell him things because he gets those things from me, and he lets people know they come from me. I am your Lord.”

Before praying onstage for the sick and afflicted, Rev. Angley took the people to the story of the Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace because he wanted them to see the Fourth Man in the furnace just as King Nebuchadnezzar had. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God (Daniel 3:24,25).

Rev. Angley ended the message by having the people repeat, “I see four!” again and again until the words dropped into their hearts. He wanted them to know that the Fourth Man had come to save and heal them. “God has all power, and you can trust Him!” Rev. Angley proclaimed. “I know that the Lord will do anything for us if we will serve Him God’s way. James wrote, And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up (James 5:15). Why should you be left out?”

During the healing line, a man received a miracle for stuttering; and the Lord wanted to teach the people how to keep a miracle as Rev. Angley said to the man, “You are now free of that spirit. If the devil tries to bring that affliction back on you, just rise up and say, ‘Not so! I will never stutter again.’ ” Rev. Angley then gave the man a copy of his book on the battles of the mind because he knew that the devil would try him.

Rev. Angley turned to the audience and asked, “Do you know why God is doing all of this?—because you are being given the true Gospel of Christ; and when that Gospel is preached, God goes into action.” Shortly after that, 434 people were healed of nervous conditions. “The miracle power is changing a lot of lives here tonight!” Rev. Angley proclaimed. “When mass miracles take place, anyone can receive. You just have to reach out.”

After a backslider onstage rededicated his life to the Lord, Rev. Angley turned to the crowd and gave a very solemn revelation that 25 backsliders would have to return to the Lord or they would very likely never make it home alive that night. That revelation went deep into the hearts of more than just those 25 because as Rev. Angley led the people in the sinners’ prayer, others also gave their hearts to the Lord.

Rev. Angley closed the service joyfully declaring, “God is pleased with this service tonight!” Our tour members rejoiced in hearing that news as our many efforts continued to be rewarded in amazing ways.

After leaving the platform, Rev. Angley prayed with a group of eight teenagers who, earlier in the day, had been invited to the service by one of our workers. One was delivered from smoking, and seven of them were delivered from drug addiction; and they all went home born again and made new. The blood of Jesus turned their broken lives into testimonies for Him.

Second Friday Service

Friday was our last chance to minister in the schools, and our people worked hard to touch the hearts of nearly 4000 young souls that morning. When the second week closed, our people had testified and ministered in 29 schools, one college, one hospital, two clinics, two orphanages and various other institutions as well as in busy market areas and neighborhoods. God gave us great strength to do the work He had called us to do.

Friday night, Rev. Angley began the service by focusing the minds of the people on the divine blood. “Jesus came with divine blood, and people were saved and healed through that blood. Then He shed His blood for you and me so we also could use it to get people saved and healed. You can have a miracle because the Bible says, With his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Don’t let the devil talk you out of one blessing tonight!”

After the Cathedral Trio sang a God–given song about the sound of miracles, Rev. Angley announced, “Rejoice! Heaven reported that 99 miracles took place during that song!” Those miracles included three for AIDS, six for cancer, five for heart problems, seven for lung trouble and one for a person who would have died within 30 days.

Rev. Angley preached about the soon coming of the Lord; and he declared, “Heaven is bending low tonight to give you an announcement that Jesus is coming soon. Are you ready to go? Are you living free from all sin? Jesus is only coming after those who are without spot, wrinkle or blemish; and a blemish can be a very tiny, little speck. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27).”

Rev. Angley told the people that they must have the Holy Ghost to make the Rapture because only with that power from On High will they be changed to meet Jesus in the air. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (I Corinthians 15:52). “Go forth! Go forth!” Rev. Angley cried. “What we do, we must do quickly because the end is near. So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors (Matthew 24:33).”

A lady in the healing line had come because, earlier in the week, one of our workers had prayed for her to stop smoking and had invited her to the service; and she was so happy to tell Rev. Angley that night that she had not smoked for two days. She had also brought her deaf granddaughter to receive a miracle, and she did not go home disappointed.

At the close of the service, Rev. Angley told the people that Saturday would be a night for them to receive a very special miracle. “I want you to pray a special prayer for that miracle,” he instructed them. “Don’t beg God for it; just praise Him. Don’t be afraid to trust the Lord, and don’t doubt that you can have a miracle. Come expecting to receive.”

As the people disbursed, miracles were still taking place in the invalid section. A man with a lung disease was finally breathing with much more freedom; a woman in a wheelchair started taking steps, and a man who had suffered a stroke threw down his crutch and began walking up and down the aisle.

A man who was near death with cancer and had been lying on the ground all night suddenly got up and walked to his car. His family members were in shock, and tears were streaming down their faces as they watched a miracle taking place right before their eyes. The man announced that he had given his heart to the Lord and that his backsliding son also had come back to God. It was a great night for that family!

Second Saturday Service

Saturday morning was our last opportunity to touch souls, so our tour members loaded themselves down with crusade flyers and all their remaining literature and fanned themselves out in busy market areas. There were still two services left, and it was no time to take a break.

The chilly Cape Town wind had returned for the second weekend of services, and Saturday night was colder than usual; but those who wanted God’s truth were there. At the beginning of the service, Rev. Angley immediately turned the people’s attention from the weather to Jesus when he had them repeat after him: “I love Jesus, and Jesus loves me. I will do anything for Jesus, and He will do anything for me.” Then Rev. Angley declared, “If you really know Jesus, all things are possible to you.”

The Lord revealed an AIDS victim who was taking his final steps toward hell. “The doctors say you are not supposed to be alive today,” Rev. Angley told the man, “but you had a godly mother, so God has spared you longer than He would have. However, you are a very stubborn person; and if you’re not careful, that stubbornness will take you to hell.” For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry (I Samuel 15:23).

“If you give yourself over to the Lord,” Rev. Angley continued, “He will heal you; but you did something when you were younger, and you are afraid people will find out about it and send you to prison. Is that crime worth losing your soul in hell? You need to come to God,” Rev. Angley cried through his tears. The whole congregation joined the man in saying the sinners’ prayer, and Rev. Angley was jubilant when he announced that the man had given his heart to the Lord. “See,” he told the people, “you just helped save a soul from hell.”

Rev. Angley wanted the people to realize their great responsibility to souls; and he said, “The Lord has told me that if we fail, millions will die and go to hell. Some people have never had a chance to accept Christ; but through us, they will have a chance because we will serve His love, His grace and His power.”

The Lord again used the anointed voices of the Cathedral Trio to get into the people, and Rev. Angley announced that 10 people had been healed of AIDS. “But nine of you are not saved,” Rev. Angley warned, “and you will not make it without Him. Through His great mercy and divine blood forgiveness, He will hear you if you cry out to Him.” Thankfully, they heeded the warning, and God did hear their honest cries.

Rev. Angley called for Pastor Mavis Mochochoko, the head of an orphanage in Lesotho and a devoted woman of the Lord, to testify on stage. When Rev. Angley was conducting a crusade in her country, he didn’t know her; but the Lord had used him to point her out in the crowd. Through the Spirit of the Lord, he revealed that there was a mother in the audience who was pulling on God for her four children with AIDS and he said they were healed. Pastor Mavis testified that she immediately felt the power of God, and she knew the Lord was talking to her; and her children were indeed made whole. She took them to a clinic where the doctors confirmed their miracles, and our ministry has copies of their medical records as proof.

After hearing her astounding testimony, people’s faith rose high for family members with AIDS; and the Lord revealed that a godly lady had received miracles for each of her three grandchildren who were to have died within six months. “You came on business tonight,” Rev. Angley said. “You gave those children to the Lord, and now they are healed!” A grandson with AIDS who was to have died within nine months was also healed because of his grandfather’s prayers. “Miracles bring people to God!” Rev. Angley declared.

The Lord’s revelations continued as Rev. Angley told of an aunt in the audience who had a 17–year–old niece with AIDS. “That has kept you awake night after night,” he said with tears, “but you were pulling hard on the Lord while Pastor Mavis spoke, and you reached Heaven. Your niece felt the power of God come upon her, and she yielded; and she got saved and healed. Now, she must go on and get the good Holy Ghost, and she must not fail.”

The faith of the people continued to increase, and the Lord revealed that a 36–year–old lady was healed of arthritis that had spread throughout her body, and a person blind in one eye received sight. “You haven’t even noticed that you have clear vision,” Rev. Angley said. “Put your hand over your good eye, and you will be astounded. Doctors could not help you, but now you have a miracle from God.”

Rev. Angley was overcome by the Spirit as he turned and cried, “I am in the vision, and the glory of the Lord has covered the whole crowd. Miracles and healings are taking place everywhere. You who were crippled in one leg, start moving your feet; and you will see that your crippled leg is normal. Try it out, and don’t doubt your miracle!”

Rev. Angley suddenly turned to the invalid section and said, “Get up and walk; the Lord is healing you!” At first, there were just a few who stood; but when others saw what faith was doing, people all over began getting up and moving around. One crippled woman and her husband made their way to the foot of the stage; and when Rev. Angley allowed them to join him, the people went wild, clapping and praising the Lord. Then the woman turned to the rejoicing crowd and proclaimed, “I know Jesus can do anything!”

By that time, the people’s faith was at an all–time high; and the Lord revealed that miracles had taken place for 1247 people with bad nerves, 1610 with severe skin diseases and 401 with weak voices. Rev. Angley instructed the last group, “Give God a loud praise. Don’t be afraid to test God because He is real!”

After the Cathedral Trio sang a beautiful song about God’s love, Rev. Angley explained, “You have to recognize God’s love and know that through it, you can have more than you have ever had before. The Lord let me know that He used every bit of His love when He made Calvary. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). If people won’t accept that great love, there is no more love left for them.”

At that point in the service, Rev. Angley did something he has never done before—he played a recording of a penetrating sermon he had preached many years ago entitled “I Accuse Christianity”—a sermon many people still talk about today. In it, Rev. Angley took Christianity to court; and he established his authority to do that by saying, “I have that authority from Heaven because I am a child of the King, called and ordained by Him. I have been given all the authority and power that is in the name of Jesus, so I accuse Christianity of carrying the Lord’s name and denying His power.”

Rev. Angley went on to accuse Christianity of denying the Virgin Birth and the divine blood of Jesus, of not preaching the whole Word of God, of claiming there is no burning hell, of rejecting the real Holy Spirit baptism with the evidence of speaking in other tongues and of many other things that have caused Christianity to completely fail its people. Those people had been led astray by so many false preachers, and the Lord was desperately trying to open their eyes to the truth.

After the people had witnessed many miracles take place on stage for the deaf and for those without the sense of smell or taste, the service ended with an amazing miracle that took place backstage—a man who was missing an eye covered his good eye and saw the light on top of our ministry photographer’s camera. Rev. Angley told him that such a miraculous manifestation was his sign that God would re–create everything.

Last Service

Sunday morning, some of our people were able to minister and testify in the local churches where they presented the pastors and the laypeople with Bibles, books and teaching materials that would take them deeper into the truths of God. Then it was time for the last service of the crusade, and that night was one the people will never forget.

Following an anointed duet by Tom and Lisa, 39 miracles took place—12 were for AIDS; eight were for terminal cancer, and five were for rare blood diseases. God was moving for the people through the anointed singing; and after another song, 59 more miracles for various diseases took place, and 40 people were healed of severe itching.

One man who was offered a miracle for AIDS would not repent. “You are very arrogant,” Rev. Angley plainly told him, “and God hates arrogance. Some people have walked out of my services in that condition and died before they got home even though I had warned them not to go.” The Lord was showing the people that they would have to serve Him; and just then, He revealed that another AIDS victim who was standing close by the arrogant man believed the truth and received an instant miracle. “Claim your miracle now and never let it go!” Rev. Angley cried.

During the Cathedral Trio’s next song, Rev. Angley instructed the people to wave a small piece of cloth or a handkerchief to the music. There is a purpose for everything in a service that is ordered by the Lord; and when the song was over, Rev. Angley announced, “If you really honored the Lord during that song, you have an unusual anointing on your cloth. If you have cancer, arthritis, TB or any other disease, just touch yourself with that cloth; and you can be healed. If you are worried and having battles of the mind, just lie on your cloth and go to sleep.” The Lord had given the people a beautiful way to use their faith and touch God even after the crusade was over.

“The blood anointing makes the difference,” Rev. Angley continued. And the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing (Isaiah 10:27). “There is nothing in this world as valuable as the anointing of God, and it is freely given to all who really want it. It is the same anointing Jesus used when He was here; and He said, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me (Luke 4:18).”

The Lord then directed Rev. Angley to warn the people about ego and prejudice because those things had become great hindrances among them. “God hates ego because ego is of the devil,” Rev. Angley said, “and when people think they are better than others, the Lord backs off. If you want the attention of God, you must love one another.” By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another (John 13:35).

“God is love,” Rev. Angley continued, “and He gives us all the love we need to love everybody and to get rid of all prejudice. Divine love took all of the prejudice out of Paul, and he had plenty of it before he was saved. Later, Paul noticed that Peter had taken on that spirit of prejudice and had become a hypocrite because he would eat and fellowship with the Gentiles, but he wouldn’t do it when the Jews were around. But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision (Galatians 2:11,12).

“I am called to the African people, and God has given me great love for you; but you can’t separate yourselves from one another because of color,” Rev. Angley said with tears. He then referred the people to the incident at the Tower of Babel when God confounded the languages of the people and made them to be different colors, and he explained that God did not curse people with specific colors. The people were disobedient, and that was the way God chose to stop them from building the tower; but He did not make one color of people to be any better than another.

“I am trying to bring you together tonight in love and let you know that the soul inside of people’s bodies is what counts, not their color,” Rev. Angley continued. “God loves all colors of people, and Jesus died for everyone; so how can you stand against what Jesus died for? Thus saith the Lord, you will have to get that out of your heart if you want to make it to Heaven. I sent my prophet to you, and you are no longer innocent. I will hold you responsible for knowing that you are no better than others, and you must not think so. If you do, you must humble yourself before me and say, ‘God, forgive me.’”

With all of that said, God’s gift of the discerning of spirits went into operation in a very penetrating way; and Rev. Angley said to a 27–year–old backslider, “You are so close to blaspheming against the Holy Ghost that I doubt you will ever have another chance to get right after tonight. There is something wrong in your life, and you know what it is; and you must get rid of it.” The crowd prayed together and helped save yet another soul from destruction. “One more step, and he would have landed in hell,” Rev. Angley solemnly said.

During the healing line, Rev. Angley prayed for two young friends who had come to the service after hearing about it at school. The 11–year–old girl received a miracle for being hard of hearing in one ear, and her little boyfriend received salvation. Those young souls will never forget what God did for them that night.

At the end of the service, a man reported that he had been pointed out for AIDS earlier in the weekend. He said he knew from Rev. Angley’s description that it was him because he had felt a strange sensation in his stomach. Since that night, he said he had more energy than he had had in a very long time. What a great ending that was to such a God–directed crusade; and after many tearful goodbyes, we could rest knowing that God’s work had been done.

Mission Accomplished

When we boarded the plane for home the next day, Rev. Angley announced, “This was the greatest crusade we have ever had in the depths of the power and the love and the greatness of God! During the last service, God took me over 100 percent. The power was so different that night, and I can’t get away from the many sensations the Lord gave me. It was fantastic, and the power is going to get even greater.

“When I prayed for those in the healing line, everyone received a miracle. And we really had two services because after I would leave the platform, we would have another service behind the stage for those who were bound by the devil. We saw some of the most unusual cases of devil possession, but the people were set free. If we had stayed, it is hard to tell all that God would have done.”

Every missionary journey we take for the Lord is more amazing than the one before, and this trip was yet another step towards the complete and unobstructed outpouring of God’s miracle power that will take place just before Jesus returns. More unimaginable wonders are just ahead, and total dedication to and trust in the Lord will take us on through.
