Are you a doer of the Word? Many people hear the Word, but they’re not doers of the Word; and the Lord wants you to understand the difference. I act out the Word of God, and that’s what faith is all about—believing and doing what God has said. The Bible says, Let God be true, but every man a liar (Romans 3:4); so I don’t pay attention to what people say, only to what God says. When He says something, I believe it; and that settles it.

Where did the Word begin? The Bible says, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God (John 1:1,2). That Word was life and light. In him was life; and the life was the light of men (John 1:4). God’s light is still here today, and we have all the life we need and more than we could ever use; so we should be complete in Christ Jesus. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power (Colossians 2:10).

The Light of Life

Think about God’s light. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not (John 1:5). God’s light shines in the dark places; but there are people who don’t want it to shine on them because they love the darkness of the devil, and they want to hide their evil deeds. But all those who want the light can have it. The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up (Matthew 4:16).

God sent John to bear witness of the light to come. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light (John 1:6-8). Today, children of God must continue to bear witness of that light and take the Gospel all over the world in this final hour.

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world (John 1:9). That light came to shine on every person here on Earth, so no one is excused. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not (John 1:10). The Lord made the whole world, yet the world knew Him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not (John 1:11). How pathetic to think that Jesus was rejected by His own people.

Jesus was a stranger to people when He was here, and He’s a stranger to many now. People all over the world are trying to do away with our Lord, but it will never work. They will only destroy themselves and all chances they have of going to Heaven because Jesus is the only way. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

You have to be a son or daughter of God to get into Heaven, and only through the blood can you become one of His children. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12).

The Word Is All We Need

Before you can be a doer of the Word, you must first know the Word and hide it in your heart. The Psalmist said, Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee (Psalm 119:11). The Bible says in Proverbs, My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22). The Word has all power, and it works. For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power (I Thessalonians 1:5).

When Jesus came to Earth, He was the Word made flesh. The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14). Jesus became very man, and He showed us how to be doers of the Word. He made the blind to see, the deaf to hear, and He cast devils out of people; but how many churches today accept the Jesus of the Bible? Many of them have made their own version of Christ, and they’re as dead as cemeteries.

It’s terrible to see dead Christians when Jesus brought so much life and power from On High. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease (Matthew 10:1).

Churches today are filled with dead Christians on Sunday mornings, and there are dead preachers who don’t preach the truth in most of the pulpits. They may talk about current events and preach a little social Gospel, but that’s about it. They are not doers of the Word; and they don’t have any signs, miracles or wonders in their midst.

For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was (James 1:23,24). Just hearing the Word is not enough. When you hear the voice of God through His Word, you have to do what He says.

We must be like the Early Church and preach the same truth, have the same Jesus and receive the same Holy Ghost. That divine Spirit is still here today, and we must be filled with Him and walk in Him. It’s sad that so many people are walking after the flesh instead.

Parents Must Be Examples

Many parents today are not doers of the Word, and their families are lost. They aren’t godly examples for their children, and they don’t encourage them to attend church. Their children have never been taught the Gospel or even heard their parents pray one prayer. In the Angley family, we heard our parents pray thousands of prayers; and children will never be able to get away from those kinds of prayers.

What if Noah hadn’t prayed or done anything when he heard the Word of God? He and his family would have been lost; but Noah heard the truth, and he was a doer of the Word. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make thee an ark of gopher wood (Genesis 6:13,14).

For 120 years, Noah and his family worked to build that three-story ark. People persecuted and mocked them the whole time; but after the rains started, they stopped mocking and began to scream for help…but there was no help for them.

People who mock God today will be screaming, too, after the Rapture takes place, and their little children turn up missing. Some families will have other members missing as well, and it will be a terrible time.

You Must Separate

Abraham heard the Word of truth say, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing (Genesis 12:1,2). Abraham was a doer of the Word; so by faith, he obeyed God and left his family behind. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went (Hebrews 11:8).

Many people are not willing to separate from their unsaved family members, but the Bible teaches we must. Jesus said, A man’s foes shall be they of his own household (Matthew 10:36). You’ll never be a doer of the Word unless you separate. If family members make fun of your salvation or don’t like the way you serve God, then stay away from them. If they criticize you for believing in miracles and for receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, the Bible says, Come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord…and I will receive you (II Corinthians 6:17).

I always want the Lord to receive me, so I leave behind those who are unlike Him regardless of how closely related to me they are. If people don’t want the Word, I don’t let them hinder me. I’m full of the Word, and I only want to be around others who are full of the Word, too.

To those of us who are doers of the Word, the Lord said, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). We have that “go-ye,” and we have divine signs and wonders to help us. Jesus said, And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). Millions have been delivered through this Jesus ministry, and we’re going to reach many more. We can’t let the devil stop us from doing the whole will of God.

Moses Obeyed the Word

Moses heard the Word of the Lord at the burning bush, and that fire set his soul aflame so he could be a doer of the Word. And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him [Moses] in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed…God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground (Exodus 3:2,4,5).

God was preparing Moses to be used in a great way. And the LORD said unto him [Moses], What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod. And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand (Exodus 4:2-4). It took a lot of faith for Moses to reach out and catch that serpent by the tail.

God then sent Moses to stand before Pharaoh and to tell him to let the Israelites go. God performed many signs and wonders through Moses, and He sent many plagues; but not until He killed the firstborn in every Egyptian family did Pharaoh finally tell Moses to take his people and go. And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said. Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone (Exodus 12:31,32).

The Israelites were finally on their way; but when they got to the Red Sea, they didn’t know what to do. Moses told them to stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD (Exodus 14:13). Then God separated the waters because Moses was a doer of the Word. With the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea (Exodus 15:8). God performed a mighty miracle, and all of the people walked through the sea on dry ground.

Deliverance Will Come

Today, the good Holy Ghost is holding back the waters for us so we can evangelize the world. I preach in many nations to people who are deeply involved in witchcraft, voodoo and many other darknesses of the devil; but when they see God’s miracles, they believe, and devils go out of them by the thousands. Many in this world need deliverance, but they’ll never be free from the devils that bind them unless somebody helps them.

Many people call what we have fanaticism, but why do you care what the devil says when Jesus said the devil is a liar? When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it (John 8:44). If you believe the devil, he is your father; but God’s true disciples pray, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name (Matthew 6:9).

God’s children know that He is their Father, and Jesus taught us that our Father always hears us. Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always (John 11:41,42). The Father wants to talk to and reason with His children. Come now, and let us reason together (Isaiah 1:18).

Elijah Had Faith to Believe

Ahab was a very wicked king, and he heard the Word of the Lord through the great prophet Elijah; but he definitely wasn’t a doer of the Word. If he had repented when Elijah told him there was going to be a famine, the people would not have suffered like they did; but Ahab didn’t believe the Word of the Lord. As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word (I Kings 17:1). At first, Ahab paid no attention to Elijah; but when the famine continued for so long, he changed his tune. He searched everywhere for Elijah, but he couldn’t find him.

Where was Elijah?—over by the brook where there was plenty of water, and the Lord made sure he had plenty of food. And the word of the LORD came unto him [Elijah], saying, Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there (I Kings 17:2-4). Would you have had the faith to eat meat brought to you by a bird? Elijah did because he was a doer of the Word.

Angel Help

At another time, Elijah was actually fed by an angel. And as he [Elijah] lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat. And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again. And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God (I Kings 19:5-8). Some preachers have said Elijah was fasting for those 40 days, but I believe he wasn’t even hungry. I believe God gave him the strength he needed to journey to the mount so He could show him His power. God had work for Elijah to do.

You must learn about angels. I’ve spent many hours studying them, and an angel always stands by my side and directs me whenever I’m praying for the sick. The Lord said angels would minister to His people. Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14)?

The Word Brings Salvation and Healing

To be a doer of the Word, you must repent and be born again. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3). After receiving salvation, you have to deny self or you won’t get anywhere with God. Jesus denied self to such an extent that He gave His life on Calvary. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross (Philippians 2:8). Jesus isn’t asking us to die for Him today; He’s just asking us to deny self. Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me (Mark 8:34).

I’ve seen preachers who are so full of ego about all they have accomplished, but what thrills me are all the miracles the Lord has performed and allowed me to be a witness to. God is big and mighty; and He said that believers would lay hands on the sick, and He would get them well. Do you really believe that?

People are healed through the Word—Jesus—so be a doer of the Word and use His name, but you can’t do that without being holy. Be ye holy; for I am holy (I Peter 1:16). Some people say you can’t live free from sin; but the Word says, He that committeth sin is of the devil (I John 3:8). You can’t get to Heaven without living free from all sin because even one speck of sin will send you to hell. The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:4). That’s the Word, and you must believe it.

Jesus gave His divine blood so you could be delivered from all of your sins. Then the Holy Spirit seals your soul with that blood, and nobody can break that seal but you. If you commit willful sin, meaning you know it’s a sin but you do it anyway, you’ll become a backslider.

Some people believe the doctrine of “once in grace always in grace”; but the Bible teaches that once you get into grace, you must stay there. Judas was saved at one time or he wouldn’t have had the power to cast out devils because Jesus said that one devil can’t cast out another devil. How can Satan cast out Satan? And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end (Mark 3:23-26). The Bible plainly tells us that Judas backslid. Judas by transgression fell (Acts 1:25). Then he committed suicide and went to hell—how sad!

You Must Believe

Isaiah the prophet was sent by God to tell King Hezekiah, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live (II Kings 20:1). Hezekiah didn’t need to get his house in order because he already had it in order. Instead, he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying, I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight…And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying, Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee…And I will add unto thy days fifteen years (II Kings 20:2-6). Hezekiah had heard the Word of the Lord; but because he was a doer of the Word, the Lord gave him 15 more years on Earth.

So many people today need God’s help, but they don’t have their houses set in order. That’s why I’m always seeking for more of God’s power—so I can use every promise necessary to teach people the truth and to help deliver them. When people come to me for prayer, I want them to receive their miracles and be set free. The Lord promised deliverance for those who are doers of the Word but not for doubters. The Bible says, But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord (James 1:6,7).

There are no miracles in many churches today because the preachers are full of doubt. They’re not doers of the Word, and they don’t fast like they should. Jesus said, Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21). Many Christians love to feast; so when you mention fasting, you’ve lost them even though the Bible teaches it.

It’s sad that many people who claim to believe the Bible don’t even know what it says. They couldn’t direct you to what the Bible teaches about a certain subject if they had to die for it. The love of God is a stranger to them, and they’re a stranger to His love. It’s time for people to wake up and do the whole will of God.

Listen and Obey

God told Nehemiah to rebuild the walls around Jerusalem because they had been torn down. Nehemiah obeyed, but the devil did everything he could to stop him. When you’re doing the whole will of God, the devil will be after you; but let that be a sign to you that he doesn’t have you. The enemy wanted Nehemiah to come down and talk to them; but Nehemiah said, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you (Nehemiah 6:3)?

Nehemiah and those who helped him worked hard, and they had to do it with a sword in one hand. They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon (Nehemiah 4:17). Nothing stopped them, and they finished rebuilding those walls. You’ll never be a failure when you’re a doer of the Word.

Just because you go to church doesn’t mean you’re a doer of the Word. Doing the Word is being like Jesus, walking in His steps, doing His works and living in His perfect will. You must always say as Jesus did, Father…not my will, but thine, be done (Luke 22:42).

Are you in step with the Lord? Only by walking in His steps can you trample devils underfoot. Jesus said, Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). James tells us, Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

Only the truth in the Word can get rid of all the false teachings of the devil. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). He also said, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). The Bible tells us to learn all we can about Jesus. Learn of me (Matthew 11:29).

You Must Not Fail

It’s great to be a doer of the Word, but it’s terrible to fail God and His Word. Saul started out as a doer of the Word, and God chose him to be the first king of Israel; but he failed miserably and died in sin full of shame, disgrace and disobedience.

King Solomon walked with God for many years, and the Lord filled him with wisdom. And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore (I Kings 4:29). Solomon built the temple and accomplished many wonderful things, but even Solomon in all of his glory backslid when he ceased to be a doer of the Word and gave in to lust. King Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites; Of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods (I Kings 11:1,2).

Even though God allowed Solomon to have many wives and concubines, he wasn’t satisfied. He went after the forbidden flesh, and it destroyed him. For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father (I Kings 11:4). Were those women worth his soul? You need to ask yourself that question when the devil tempts you with something. Jesus said that just one soul is worth more than all the wealth in the world. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul (Mark 8:36)?

Jesus made this very clear in the story of the rich man. The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided (Luke 12:16-20)? Today, people are still selling their souls for material things without thinking about where they’ll spend eternity.

Elisha Received the Double Portion

Elisha heard the Word, and he knew that God was going to take Elijah to Heaven. Before he went, Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so (II Kings 2:9,10). Elisha wanted power from On High, so he didn’t let Elijah out of his sight.

He was there when Elijah struck the waters of Jordan, and he watched them separate so the two of them could walk across on dry ground. He was also there when Elijah went to Heaven. Suddenly, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan; And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over (II Kings 2:11-14). Elijah didn’t forget to drop his mantle of power, and Elisha received the double portion.

Power from On High

Jesus didn’t forget to leave His power for the disciples either. When He was about to ascend back to Heaven, He said, Behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high (Luke 24:49). Jesus had finished His work on Earth, and it was time for the disciples to take over.

The disciples watched Jesus ascend out of sight; and as promised, He did send His mantle of power—the Holy Ghost. I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you (John 14:16,17).

The disciples couldn’t start the Jesus Church until they had been baptized with power from On High, and they obeyed the Word of the Lord. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:1-4).

We don’t know exactly how many days the disciples were in the Upper Room, and it doesn’t matter. The important thing is that they tarried until they were baptized with the Holy Ghost. Then they took on serving hands, serving minds and the love of God; and they began to deliver the people just like Jesus had done. The Early Church revival was on and lasted for over 30 years.

The revival for this Jesus ministry started well over 50 years ago in a big, canvas tent, and now that tent is on its way to cover the whole world with revival fire. Of course, the devil has fought us day and night; but the more he fights, the bigger and stronger this work gets.

Humble Yourself before God

St. John’s Gospel tells us about a young man who was born blind. He didn’t know who Jesus was; but when he met Him, the Word stooped down on the ground and spit in the mud. Jesus put that mud on his eyes and said, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) (John 9:7). Would the young man be a doer of the Word? The Bible says, He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing (John 9:7).

Many people wouldn’t have done what that man did because they don’t have any spiritual sight, and they won’t obey God. There are people who could have been healed by the hand of God if they had humbled themselves before Him, but they were too stubborn to bow low before the great God who made them…and some of them have died as a result.

It’s awful to be stubborn like Jonah. He heard the Word, but he was not a doer of the Word; so the Lord sent a whale after him. Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights (Jonah 1:17). While he was in that horrible place, Jonah finally decided to do what the Lord had told him to. He said, I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD. And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land (Jonah 2:9,10).

Free at last, Jonah went to preach to the people of Nineveh and to warn them that God was going to destroy their city; but when the people heard the message, they called a fast and repented before God. And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not. But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry (Jonah 3:10; 4:1). Jonah didn’t want God to have mercy on the city; and when He didn’t destroy it, Jonah climbed a hill and pouted.

Today, many people have the same pouting spirit; and for some, it’s because of jealousy. No one will get into Heaven with pouting devils or a jealous spirit because they come from the devil. You have to get all of those spirits out of your heart and life and be like Jesus. That means you have to act like a son or daughter of God and do His will rather than your own all the time.

Where do you find God’s will?—in the Word. The Bible says, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life (John 5:39). Jesus said, Seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you (Matthew 7:7). I’ve knocked at the Lord’s door many times, and it has always opened for what I’ve needed. Some of you have needs that are not being supplied because you don’t knock at His door. You’ll knock at the doors of friends and family, but you won’t go to the Lord’s door of deliverance when He is your truth and life.

Just Like Jesus

Don’t listen to unbelievers or spiritually dead Christians. They shouldn’t even be called Christians in the first place because that word means Christlike, and they’re anything but Christlike. People started calling the Early Church disciples Christians because they acted just like Jesus. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch (Acts 11:26). They walked and talked just like Jesus, lived holy like Him and did His works.

Are you Christlike? Do you have His divine love and faith? Do you really live through divinity? Jesus not only brought divinity but He used it, and you have to use it, too. Use divine faith, and it will take you from faith to faith. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17).

Many Christians will use their faith for one thing, but then they’ll go from faith to doubt or from faith to feelings. Some only believe they’re healed if they can feel it, but that’s not God’s way. He said He would get you well, so don’t doubt Him. The devil will give some people false symptoms, and then they’ll lose their miracle because they doubt God.

The Bible says, He [God] sent his word [Jesus], and healed them (Psalm 107:20). It also says that Jesus came with healing in His wings. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings (Malachi 4:2). Under the Lord’s wings, children of God have all the healing they need for soul, mind and body. Many times, I have found the wings of Jesus to be my shelter in time of need, and I’m still dwelling under those wings today.

Jesus said, All things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23). Every word in the English language that ends with “eth” means to continue, so you have to continue to believe. You can’t believe one minute and doubt the next or there’s no need to even ask for prayer. When you do ask of God, don’t just ask for one thing if you need more than one. Search the scriptures; and you’ll see that when Jesus healed people, He healed them of everything. When He forgave people of their sins, He forgave them of all of their sins.

The Healing Christ

When the Lord healed me at the age of 23, He healed me of everything. There were many things wrong with me, and I had gone to the edge of the grave. I was getting worse, and more of my organs were being afflicted. At one point, I knew that I didn’t have more than a few days to live; and I was sinking fast. I was so weak; but I was determined that if I died, I would die in the pulpit. My dear wife, Angel, would help me bathe and get dressed because I was determined to be on my post of duty, preaching for the Lord. I knew I was ready to die, but in my heart I wanted to live and preach the Gospel because I was a doer of the Word.

Then one great night, Jesus came and made me whole all over. Later, I realized that God had let me suffer in that valley so I would have the compassion and the desire to help people who are in need. My heart bleeds for suffering humanity, and I hold onto God for people until He tells me that it’s His will to take them home. Only then do I surrender them…but not before. I hold onto God because I know He can and will heal people of anything, and I’m doing all I can to reach every soul possible with that message before Jesus comes.

Are You Watching?

If preachers and teachers of the Word today would really get Jesus in their hearts and seek for reality in God, they would have the vision of the Rapture and be looking for Jesus to come. It doesn’t matter how long a person has been a preacher; if he or she is not a doer of the Word and looking for the Lord’s return, that person will be left. Jesus is coming only for those who are watching for Him. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching (Luke 12:37). Those who aren’t watching are not doers of the Word but doubters. They may have heard the Word, but they don’t believe it.

I can’t talk for very long without mentioning the one flight out, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a service during which I didn’t mention the Rapture. I’m excited about it, and the Bible tells us that we must be found worthy to escape. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man (Luke 21:36).

If you’re truly a doer of the Word, then you’re ready to meet the Lord; and you’re looking for Him to come. You’re working like it, thinking like it and acting like it. You’re living just like Jesus with no envy, strife or grudges in your heart, only pure, divine love and the grace of God.

Accept God’s Grace

The Bible speaks of us going from grace to grace. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace (John 1:16). Grace is all of God’s favor, and everyone can have it. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ (Ephesians 4:7).

Sinner Friend, Backslider or lukewarm Christian, you’re going to be left without having God’s grace. Read the book of Revelation, and you’ll see how terrible it’s going to be here on Earth after the Rapture takes place. Surely, you don’t want to be here at that time.

If you’re unsaved, pray right now: Oh, God, I’m lost. I’ve heard the Word, but I’m not a doer of the Word; and I want to be. I have godly sorrow for my sins; and you said that if I’d confess my sins with godly sorrow, you would forgive me. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Make me just like Jesus. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in!

If you meant that prayer, now you can say, Hallelujah! Jesus is mine! I’m going to be a doer of the Word and do the will of God for the rest of my days here on Earth. You can count on me, Lord; I’m going to follow in the steps of your Son, Jesus.

Accept the Healing Promise

Now that you have Jesus in your heart, you can have whatever you need. I’m not a healer; I’m just God’s witness. I don’t operate God’s gifts in my life, the Holy Spirit does. As I live in the presence of God, the Holy Spirit uses the power of God through me; and He gets all the honor and glory. God promised to give you a miracle for anything you need through the miracle power that Jesus brought. It’s the same miracle power that brought Lazarus out of the sepulchre after being dead for four days and nights.

You with HIV/AIDS, diabetes, heart trouble, lung trouble or leprosy, and you who have had a stroke or have a deformed baby, agree with me that you and your child will be healed. God will make you whole.

Lord, here they are. I bring the sick and afflicted to you. You’ve sent me to tell people about your power to heal, and now I bring them before you. In the name of Jesus, I ask that the foul spirits of sickness come out of their bodies. Heal! in the name of Jesus. Heal!

The anointing of God is flowing, and many people will be healed after reading this sermon. Obey the Word; and that will bring you all the blessings and the favor of God so you can be made whole.

If you have really accepted the prayer of God’s healing command through the blood of Jesus, remember that God’s promises of healing for soul, mind and body have now covered you. Hug His promises to your heart and watch God move for you and yours. Then write and tell me what happened to you today, and let me know if you were blessed by this message.
