The Bible plainly tells us to give no place to the devil in our lives. Neither give place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27). We are to have nothing to do with the devil because we are at war with him. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). We can be strong in God and in the power of His might if we will let Him work. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might (Ephesians 6:10). There is no need for anyone to come up short or to fail God in anything He has called us to do, and we won’t if we refuse to give place to the devil.

The devil is always seeking a way to get his foot in the door of our lives. He has no good intentions toward anyone, and he doesn’t even love his own. The thief [the devil] cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). The devil comes to us with the worst, but Jesus came to give us Heaven’s best.

Jesus never said one good thing about the devil. He told the Jews that Satan was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it (John 8:44).

Most believers agree that there is nothing good about the devil, so why is he able to take advantage of them?—because they give place to him. They may think that just a small space is no big deal; but if you give the devil even one tiny place in your life, he will seize the opportunity to move in and take control.

Take Your Place

Jesus came to defeat the devil for all of us, so Satan is a defeated foe if we will do what the Lord tells us to do and take the place He has called us to. Each child of God has a special place in the body of Christ. We can’t all be eyes, ears, feet or hands; but we all have our place, and every place in the body of Jesus is important. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him (I Corinthians 12:13-18).

God has given each of us a place, and we must stand in that place. Gideon had only 300 soldiers to fight a battle against an army of thousands of Midianites, so he had to have every soldier in place before God could give them the victory. And he [Gideon] divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers. And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon. And they stood every man in his place round about the camp; and all the host ran, and cried, and fled (Judges 7:16,20,21).

Be Strong in the Lord

Satan wants to shake each of us as hard as he can to knock us out of the body of Christ and to separate us from the vine, Christ Jesus; but we must never let him succeed. And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat (Luke 22:31). When the devil shakes you, let the chaff fall off and then abide in the vine stronger than ever. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing (John 15:4,5).

Persecutions will make you stronger when you continue to do what the Lord tells you to do. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you (Matthew 5:10-12).

Jesus let His many persecutions make Him stronger, and so must you. Jesus took on the fashion of a man, but He became strong by using the things He had brought from Heaven; and all those things belong to us. You can reach out and get anything you need at any time if your heart is pure and clean before God.

Just thinking you are strong in the Lord isn’t enough. Peter told Jesus he would never betray Him. Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended (Matthew 26:33). However, Peter didn’t know himself. After Jesus was arrested, all it took for Peter to deny Jesus was a young damsel identifying him as one who had been with Christ. Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee. But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest (Matthew 26:69,70).

Thank God, Peter later wept bitterly over what he had done and repented. And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly (Matthew 26:75). Peter finally realized how weak he was. God had to knock off Peter’s strong outer shell of self before He could use the kernel of wheat that was underneath.

Satan cannot rob us of anything when we are strong in the Lord. A thief has to first bind the strong head of the house before he can steal the treasures inside, and it is the same way with the devil; but he can’t bind us unless we give place to him. No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house (Mark 3:27). However, some people are so weak that the devil has easy access to them. There is no strong man he needs to bind first, so he can steal anything he pleases.

You Can Overcome the Devil

You can resist the devil by being steadfast in the faith. Whom resist stedfast [fixed or unchanging] in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world (I Peter 5:9). Your heart must be fixed and trusting in the Lord. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD (Psalm 112:7). When you are steadfast, the devil can’t do anything with you; but he never gives up. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour (I Peter 5:8).

The devil is watching and waiting for you to give him a place in your life, so learn to use the divine blood on him; and he will flee. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Don’t go after him to find out why he is running; just know that the blood has sent him on his way.

Through the blood, the Lord has given you power to trample devils underfoot; so you never have to let Satan get an advantage over you. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). You must have that power and use it in this last hour. The devil has a great hold on people all over the world, and you have to help deliver them through the blood of Jesus and the power of the Holy Ghost.

The saints of old had that power, and they were overcomers. And they overcame him [the devil] by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony [the Word they put in their testimony]; and they loved not their lives unto the death (Revelation 12:11). They defeated the devil, and so must children of God today. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world (I John 4:4). The devil is the one who is in the world; but God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are in those who are children of God, so we have it made.

You Must Forgive

You have to be careful when you feel someone has hurt you because that is when it is easy for many people to give place to the devil. Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled (Hebrews 12:15). Lions seek wounded prey, and that is exactly what the enemy of your soul does. When he finds a person who has been wounded, he quickly moves in to take advantage of them.

Anger, bitterness, revenge and despair are prime avenues through which the devil can work his wiles; so you have to get rid of them. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice (Ephesians 4:31). The Bibles says, Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath (Ephesians 4:26). When you get angry, keep it under control and get rid of it in a hurry because if you let it stay, it will ruin you.

Instead of letting hurt and anger get the best of you, you must forgive. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you (Ephesians 4:32). The same forgiving spirit that Jesus had to forgive us of all of our sins is available to you, and it is the remedy when you have been hurt or wounded. However, the devil seeks to sink his evil teeth into a person’s heart and mind so he can suffocate the flow of divine love and forgiveness.

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses (Matthew 6:14,15). I always forgive my enemies because I never want to allow them to take anything from me. I turn them over to the Lord and let Him take care of them. He said, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord (Romans 12:19). Never seek to get revenge yourself; let God do it.

An unforgiving spirit allows Satan to get an advantage over you, but Satan has no chance of getting his foot in the door of your heart if you forgive and close the door on the past. Some people hurt their faith by not forgiving and it weakens them with God and hinders their prayers from getting through.

Unforgiveness will also hinder your needs from being supplied. My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). God will take care of whatever you turn over to Him. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). But you will only be a winner if you leave those troubles with the Lord and never go back to get them.

Paul said, To whom ye forgive anything, I forgive also: for if I forgave anything, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ (II Corinthians 2:10). If you won’t forgive others, the Lord will not forgive you; and you will lose your soul.

Paul goes on to say, Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices (II Corinthians 2:11). You may say that you are ignorant of the devil’s devices, but the Holy Bible uncovers them.

Beware of Deceit

One way Satan will try to get his foot in your door is by approaching you with a little bit of truth, and he may even quote some scripture. He tried that on the Son of God, so he will try it on you. He said to Jesus, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone (Matthew 4:6).

Do you accept any of the devil’s twists of truth? Eve did. When the serpent was trying to convince her to eat of the evil tree, she said, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil (Genesis 3:2-5). When Adam and Eve ate the fruit, they did die spiritually; and they probably never got back to God.

Millions today are giving place to the devil by accepting the devil’s twisted truth that says you can sin and still be saved, and even many churches are teaching that; but the Bible says, The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:20). God cannot even look upon sin. Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity (Habakkuk 1:13). Of course, God sees sin; but He will never endorse it.

Not one sin will ever get through the gates of that heavenly city. All sinners will be left standing outside, but they will have had their choice. People still have a choice today, but the Lord said His Spirit will not always strive with man. The LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man (Genesis 6:3). The Bible says there was a time when God winked at ignorance but not anymore. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30).

It is not too late for people to repent, but there is one sin for which they can never repent. Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation (Mark 3:28,29). The Lord told me years ago that many people would blaspheme against the Holy Ghost just before Christ’s coming, and that time is here. People can no longer fight against God without blaspheming. They can even blaspheme by just saying, “Not now” to the Spirit when He is drawing them. It is dangerous to tell God no in this last hour because you could turn Him away for the final time.

Walk Like Jesus

Many people claim to be walking with God when they are not. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth (I John 1:6). They don’t really have the truth, and the Bible says that all liars will be cast into the lake of fire. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone (Revelation 21:8).

Those who are really walking with God will walk as Jesus walked when He was on Earth. He that saith he abideth in him [Jesus] ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked [when He was here on Earth] (I John 2:6). Jesus walked without sin, and so must you. That means all arguing and fighting in the home have to stop. It takes two to argue; and even if your companion is a sinner, you must not argue with them. Then they will be the loser when you don’t respond.

The Bible does not tell us to argue; it says, But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ (Ephesians 4:15). We must be like Jesus and show people love. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:20,21).

Those who live and react in sentiment and feelings are easily tossed about, and the Bible says they should not be that way. That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive (Ephesians 4:14). Those who go deep in the Lord operate in love and faith. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him (Hebrews 10:38). By faith is the only way to live, and divine faith comes with plenty of love.

Seek to Glorify God

Some people give place to the devil by doing the Lord’s work for the wrong reasons. They do it for the glory of self and not for the glory of God, and that is ego. God hates ego because it is of the devil. He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him (John 7:18).

The Apostle Paul said that we must be diligent to bring glory to God. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass [a mirror] the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image [of God] from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord (II Corinthians 3:18).

People who seek their own glory do not give place to the divine potter, God, so He can mold them and make them into vessels of honor. The Bible says, Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words. Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it (Jeremiah 18:2-4).

Many people are content to be self-made, and they make only the outside of their vessel look good. Their clay, however, is weak and brittle, and they refuse to go to the potter’s house and let God work on them.

People who are shallow in the Lord are weak, and they give place to the devil. They don’t have deep spiritual roots or a solid foundation, so the storms of life bring them destruction. Jesus said, He that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently [fiercely], and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great (Luke 6:49).

Shallow people are also easily offended when they are persecuted for Christ’s sake. And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended (Mark 4:16,17).

People were offended by Jesus Himself when He was on Earth. When Jesus was speaking to a gathering of people, He said, This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live forever (John 6:58).

After that, the Bible says, Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him (John 6:60,61,66). Notice that the verse says many were offended, and many turned away; and they probably all went to hell.

Shun Idleness and Worry

You can give place to the devil by being idle. The prophet Ezekiel said, Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy (Ezekiel 16:49). Proverbs tells us, Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger (Proverbs 19:15).

Paul told Timothy about those who are idle. And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not (I Timothy 5:13). You must stay away from people like that because they have given the devil their heart, and they are not of God.

If the devil cannot get to you through people, he will worry you with anything he can. He will bring worry to you in your sleep, but you can make him run from you with the divine blood because he can’t stand the blood. Use the blood before you go to bed; and if you wake up because of a bad dream, you must realize that the devil is the one who gave it. Just use the blood on him and go back to sleep.

It doesn’t mean you are giving place to the devil when you are tormented in your sleep, and Satan knows he can’t cause you to sin against God when you are asleep. However, he may be going after you at night to try to get you to give place to him when you wake up, but you must never do that. You can always make him run from you with the divine blood because he can’t stand the blood.

When you truly give yourself to the Lord, He will put a hedge of blood around you just like He did for Job. Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face (Job 1:9-11). That hedge around Job was a hedge of blood, and the devil couldn’t get through it. God took Job’s hedge down and allowed him to be tested, but Job stood the test; and later, the Lord put the hedge back up. If you are a true child of God, you have a hedge of divine blood around you; so you have all the protection you need.

Jesus Brought a New Way

Jesus came to Earth, suffered and died for the sole purpose of fulfilling God’s plan of redemption for mankind and opening the door to a new and living way for us. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh (Hebrews 10:19,20). The new and living way was paved for all who would accept the Lord. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven (Matthew 10:32).

Christ’s entire life on Earth—His birth, actions, teachings, miracles and suffering—were all leading up to that final moment on the Cross when He cried, It is finished (John 19:30). The plan of redemption had been finished for whoever wanted it.

When Jesus died, the veil in the temple that had separated man and his God was not rent from bottom to top as man would have done but from top to bottom, signifying that God had come down and ripped it apart. And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost. And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom (Mark 15:37,38).

Then whosoever wanted to could come to the Lord; man and woman were no longer shut out. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely (Revelation 22:17). Children of God can go before the Lord one by one any hour of the day or night. I love the times when everything is quiet, and I am alone in the presence of the Lord.

God gave everything when He gave us Jesus. He told me that at Calvary was the only time He has ever used all of His love. If people do not accept Calvary, they will be lost because God has no more love to give. That is why God had to turn His back on His Son when He was dying on the Cross for you and me. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me (Matthew 27:46)?

A tremendous price was paid for men and women to be able to come into the spiritual Kingdom of God. The door to that Kingdom is open, and no man or devil can shut it to you unless you allow them to. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand (John 10:27,28).

Hindering Is Dangerous

When you give place to the devil, you are shutting up the Kingdom of Heaven to yourself and to others; and that makes God angry. But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in (Matthew 23:13). “Woe” means a fate of intense grief and misery. People who reject and fight against God are like the Pharisees, scribes and hypocrites; and they will not be in Heaven. The Lord makes it very clear that He does not want any of our actions to prevent or hinder others from entering the Kingdom, the spiritual domain ruled by a loving God. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way (Romans 14:13). People who do that will realize their wrong ways in hell, but then it will be too late.

Those who give place to the devil and shut up the Kingdom of Heaven to others are just like the wicked one who pounces on every opportunity to stand in the way of anyone who is trying to enter into the Kingdom. He seeks to steal anything of God he can and tries to take away any thread of truth that lights up a person’s way. When anyone heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart (Matthew 13:19).

If you don’t understand the Word, you have to watch out or the devil will send someone to take the Word out of your heart; and then you will be lost. You cannot listen to or accept the lies of those who are against your God, even if they are your own family members. They are the devil’s weapons to hinder you, saith the Lord.

Satan loves to use people to bind the minds of others and prevent the light of the Gospel from shining to them. Do you try to confuse people’s minds with untruth or deceive them with partial truth? There is deceit in many churches, and the ministers there will fill your mind with the wrong things. You must go to a church where the truth is preached.

God Hates False Prophets

Are you conscious of how your actions affect others? Do you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven to any of those who are watching you? God does not take it lightly when someone hinders others from coming to or living for Him, and there is an account of Paul and Barnabas in the Bible that proves that. Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them (Acts 13:1,2).

As the disciples fasted and prayed, the Lord spoke concerning Barnabus and Saul; and He is calling people today just like He did then. And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them [Barnabas and Saul], they sent them away. So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus. And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus: Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God (Acts 13:3,4,6,7).

There are always people who want to hear the truth, and people who don’t want them to hear the truth. But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith (Acts 13:8). Elymas did not want the Gospel light to shine to that deputy.

Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, And said, O full of all subtilty [deceit] and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord (Acts 13:9,10)? The Holy Ghost used Paul to ask the false prophet that question.

“Pervert” means to alter something from its original meaning, and true prophets of God will never do that. They minister only truth; so the Holy Ghost again used Paul to say to Elymas, And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season [a whole month]. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord (Acts 13:11,12). Notice that the Holy Ghost was the one who delivered the vengeance, not Paul.

God Sees All

The Bible tells of the Holy Ghost delivering vengeance at another time—when Ananias and his wife, Sapphira, lied to Him about how much money they had received for a parcel of land. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things (Acts 5:3-5).

Later, Sapphira came to the disciples with the same lie. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband (Acts 5:9,10).

Peter let the Holy Ghost be in control and take care of punishing Ananias and Sapphira. The Bible says, For thou [God] shalt judge the people righteously (Psalm 67:4).

Never Fail Your Responsibility

If you are responsible for directing people through preaching, teaching, parenting or any other way, you must be very careful not to turn them away from the Kingdom by compromising or changing the right ways of God. You must watch out for the souls of those who are under you and never handle the Word of God with deceit.

For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they [the people under him] should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law (Malachi 2:7-9). A partial truth is no truth at all, and God was angry with those priests for not teaching the whole truth.

The Earth is full of people who are satisfied with less than God’s whole truth because ministers, teachers and parents are not teaching or encouraging people to seek for the full Gospel that Jesus brought and taught. People must teach, preach and give correction through the Gospel.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:19). Jesus was letting the people know that they would not receive any reward if they didn’t teach all that God had told them to.

But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea (Matthew 18:6). Those who give place to the devil and seek to deceive will not get by, so never let them bother you.

Paul said, Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you (Hebrews 13:17). When people come to me for help, I give them only truth because that is all that counts with God. Some people want me to agree with them rather than with God, but that will never happen. If people don’t listen to the truth, I can’t help them; but if they listen to and obey the truth, then I am joyful because I know they will be all right.

Paul told the Corinthians, Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not (II Corinthians 4:1). A person who faints in the Lord is one who gives up, and a person like that can do no more work than a dead person.

Paul went on to say, But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God (II Corinthians 4:2). When you have the truth in your heart, it will manifest itself in holiness, righteousness, goodness and mercy.

Beware of False Witnesses

People can give place to the devil and turn others away from God by destroying the influence or tarnishing the character of a godly minister who speaks the truth. It is dangerous to talk about God’s true ministers or even about a layperson who carries God’s anointing. You must never speak evil of anyone who is serving God.

In Bible days, people lied about and set up false witnesses against Jesus and many of God’s true messengers because they wanted to stifle the truth. And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none. For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together. And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him (Mark 14:55-57).

Stephen was full of God, but false witnesses still testified against him. And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people (Acts 6:8). Stephen was full of faith and power, and we must be that way in order to please God today. Then, like Stephen, we can pray for people; and God’s anointing can heal them.

Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen. And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake (Acts 6:9,10). Those people did not accept what Stephen was preaching or doing, and they are in hell today.

Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God (Acts 6:11). Those things were all lies, and God hates liars. He said, All liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death (Revelation 21:8).

And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him [Stephen], and caught him, and brought him to the council, And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law: For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us. And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel (Acts 6:12-15). I have seen angels, and they have wonderful faces like that of Jesus. They are so peaceful; and they match the faith of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.

Be Like Jesus

The truth of God gives you good, spiritual vision and sight, and it serves you the wonderful things of Heaven before you even get there. That is why you must always seek to go deeper with God and help to open blinded eyes to the truth. The Bible says, O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep (Psalm 92:5).

If you don’t want to go deeper with God, that is your choice; but don’t prevent others from going deep. Many are satisfied to be shallow in the Lord, and they don’t hunger and thirst for more of Him. Then with their controlling spirit, they keep others from seeing the Gospel light. Instead of rejoicing over others who are seeking the fullness of God, they become jealous of them; and that should never be. We must never be jealous of anybody who is working for the Lord. We are all to be brothers and sisters in Christ who love one another and are getting ready to go when Jesus comes. Jesus said, By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another (John 13:35).

Some people try to rely on their works rather than love, but that won’t work. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law [by your good works]; ye are fallen from grace (Galatians 5:4). You cannot justify yourself by the Law no matter how many good works you think you have done. Instead, you have already fallen from grace.

If you don’t keep the first love that you received at Calvary, your works will not matter to God. If you don’t do your works for God with His love, they are going to be burned up in the end. Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire (I Corinthians 3:13-15).

We are to be God’s children and live under His laws of love. Paul said, That I may know him [Jesus], and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death (Philippians 3:10). We can know Jesus and the power of His resurrection like Paul did. Jesus is truth, and the truth makes us free. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32).

Jesus is our example; and He said, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives [those who are devil possessed], and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised [hurt] (Luke 4:18). True children of God are anointed to do the same things. We must carry the Gospel to the world.

The Lord wants to make Himself real to the Bride today so she will lean upon Him. He wants to bring us out of the dark wilderness and get us ready to go home. Jesus wants to present His Bride to God the Father, and each member of the bridal company must be spotless. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27).

You must always be careful about who you talk to, what you watch and what you listen to. When you don’t know what to do or say, ask yourself, “What would Jesus do? What would Jesus say?” Then He will give you the right answer if you are living right and believe.

Raise Your Children Right

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). When you raise your children the right way, they will never be able to get away from it. That does not mean they will be saved in the end, but they will have heard the truth and never be able to get it out of their hearts. It will be their choice as to whether they use it or not.

Parents, you must never take the place of God or the Holy Ghost in your children’s lives, and you must never shut up the Kingdom to them by trying to control their every spiritual move. You are responsible to bring them up in the fear and admonition of the Lord and to nurture, teach and encourage them in the ways of God. Then you must give them completely to the Lord just as Hannah did with Samuel.

Hannah could not have children; so she told the Lord that if He would give her a son, she would give him to God to be used in the service of the Lord. God granted her petition, and she kept her promise. She said, For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him: Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD (I Samuel 1:27,28).

You must always let the Holy Ghost lead your children and never hinder them from going deeper with God. Never direct them out of the will of God when it comes time for them to sacrifice or suffer for the cause of Christ, and never discourage them from giving to God.

Never stand up for your children when they are doing wrong. Some parents get angry with me when I correct their children; but I just tell them that they can come to the altar, and I will pray with them. When you teach your children the right way and discipline them when they need it, you will get somewhere with them.

The children in my church love me, and they always want to hug me because I show them a lot of love; but I won’t compromise with them. I look for the good in children as well as in grown-ups, and I look for the good that can be brought out in them just as God does. Even those who are acting badly can be helped if there is some good in them, so be sure to put all the good you can into your children.

Established in the Faith

To never give place to the devil, you have to be established in the truth of God. Paul was established, and he taught people how important it was for them to be established, too. And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints (I Thessalonians 3:12,13). Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work (II Thessalonians 2:16,17). For all men have not faith. But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil (II Thessalonians 3:2,3).

“Stablish” means to be established. Have you ever pondered those words? You should because every word in the Bible was given with power. Are you really established and rooted and grounded in the truth, or are you in and out of the truth? Being in and out won’t work. Paul said, Rooted and built up in him (Jesus), and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving (Colossians 2:7).

If you ever intend to establish your heart in the Lord, you must do it now before it is too late. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh (James 5:8). If you are not ready when Jesus comes, He will not return for you. You will be left behind in the Tribulation Period, and that will be an awful time.

Paul knew that being established in the faith was so important that he sent Timothy, one of his favorite sons in the Lord, to help the Thessalonians become rooted and grounded in the Gospel truth. And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellow-labourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith (I Thessalonians 3:2).

Let God Use You

You must always keep the Lord and His ways before you so you will not be moved. I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved (Psalm 16:8). You must redeem your time for the Lord. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:15,16).

You need to keep this message in your heart for the rest of the journey because the devil is doing everything he can to get space in your life. It is time to yield completely to God and get rid of any thoughts or things that would hinder you from being the soul winner God wants you to be. We have a lot of souls to win, and God will anoint us to do that.

We must take Jesus’ place here on Earth. We must be His hands, His eyes and His voice so He can use us; but we must have the Holy Ghost and be controlled by Him for the Lord to use us like He wants to.

You must study the Bible truth, and God and the Holy Spirit will reveal those truths to you. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you (Philippians 3:15). The devil will bring bad thoughts to your mind, but a good thought from God will shoot down a bad thought every time. The Lord will let you know when you have something in your mind that should not be there, and He will help you to get rid of it.

Thus saith the Lord, I am here to anoint you. I gave this message, and you must never forget it. So many people hinder others; but we must never hinder anyone from coming into the Kingdom of God, saith the Lord.

Don’t Be Left Behind

The one flight out is unbelievably close, and the Spirit is urging us ever onward. I don’t know how many times He has said to me, “Go forth, go forth, go forth.” He says it three times; and that represents the Father, Son and Holy Ghost saying it. There is no time for you to lag behind. Take no time with people who talk down on your salvation, your church or who try to deceive or discourage you.

If you are a sinner today, you need to come to Jesus and get right with God because this could be your last call. We are living in the last days no matter what the enemy tells you, and eternal darkness is about to settle on you. The coming of the Lord is nigh, and never let the enemy tell you otherwise.

If you are a backslider, you must hurry home; and stop listening to the devil tell you that you have plenty of time. Many people who were told that lie have woken up screaming in an eternal hell.

I can never forget the vision the Lord gave me of the great door that will shut all evil away for eternity, and I can still see it in such a plain way today. God told me that when that door is closed, He will never again hear the cries of those lost souls; and He will never remember them. He has the power to wipe them out of His mind, and He will wipe them out of the minds of His children, too. If you reject God, you will be forgotten by Heaven and by all of your loved ones who have already gone there or soon will go there.

Sinner, Backslider, say this prayer right now: Oh, God, save my soul! Forgive me of my sins. You said if I would repent with godly sorrow, you would forgive me; and I am repenting with godly sorrow. I am so sorry, Lord; save my soul. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in, Jesus! If you meant that prayer, Jesus has come; and He is yours.

Accept God’s Miracle Power

You who are sick or afflicted with a deadly disease, why listen to the devil telling you that you can’t be healed and have your miracle today? He will whisper, “You know that the doctors have told you that you will die”; but don’t listen to him. Listen only to the Spirit saying, I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26). The Lord is ready to heal and set you free.

You may have AIDS, but God has healed untold thousands of people of AIDS through this Jesus ministry; and the testimonies keep coming in. Others of you may have leprosy, TB, diabetes, cancer, heart trouble or paralysis; but no case is too hard for our Lord. For with God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37).

Lord, I bring the people to you. You are the healer, and I am your believer; and you have endowed me with your supernatural gifts to bring healing to the people in the precious blood name of Jesus. I curse all of their diseases, and I put them under the blood to be destroyed right now in the name of the Lord. Heal! in the name of Jesus. Heal!

The divine blood brings life, so get well and then write or email to tell me about it. Remember that you must live for the Lord and serve Him. The Lord doesn’t heal people so they can serve the devil. Never listen to him because the truth is only found in the blood Word and the blood promises of God Almighty. Listen to Him and be made whole in your soul, mind and body. Then serve the Lord and win souls for Jesus.
