The night of Christ’s birth, shepherds were busy watching their flocks when suddenly, they were covered with God’s glory. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them:and they were sore afraid (Luke 2:8,9). That was a bit of Heaven.

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people (Luke 2:10). The angel of the Lord was bringing a bit of good news from Heaven to those shepherds as he said, For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men (Luke 2:11-14). I’m sure there were no other babies that night who were born in a stable and laid in a manger. God always confirms everything He says.

A Joyous Night

Those shepherds looked into the manger and saw love in that little face like they had never seen it before. A bit of Heaven’s love and joy had come down to them, and they saw joy unspeakable and full of glory (I Peter 1:8). A bit of divine hope and faith had come down. Oh, how blessed indeed! The shepherds' hearts must have leaped within them as they looked into the manger, and the Holy Spirit revealed that they were seeing the Christ child. The shepherds were just humble people, but they became great witnesses; and they went everywhere telling the story of the birth of Christ. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds (Luke 2:16-18). I’m sure the shepherds woke up many friends and loved ones that night as they cried, “Come and see the star and hurry to the stable! We were just there, and we have seen that our Savior has been born. Go and see for yourself!”

Divinity is real, and divinity came to Earth in the form of a little baby that Christmas night. The shepherds saw the star of salvation that night; and later, people would see Jesus as the star of healing, miracles and re-creative power. And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people (Matthew 4:23). It was all a bit of Heaven.

Salvation, the First Bit of Heaven

Every time a person is saved,it represents a bit of Heaven. Do you remember when you received that bit of Heaven? It should be an unforgettable experience because it is the first bit of the compassion of Calvary and the divine blood you accepted, and that blood washed away your sins and made you brand new all over. That is how powerful just one bit of Heaven is.

One bit of Heaven gives you the desire to separate from all things of the world. It makes you want to be just like Jesus and to walk in His steps. Just one bit of Heaven brings eternal life, and just one drop of divine blood is powerful enough to wash away all the sins of the world if people will only use it.

For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness (I Thessalonians 4:7). You are called by God through His only begotten Son, the greatest Bit of Heaven God ever sent to Earth. Jesus made it possible for everyone to be changed and go to Heaven if they will just accept what He brought. No one had to be left out, and that is the message you must help take to the world. Your cry must be, “Come to Jesus! Come to Jesus before it is too late!” The Gospel light must burn brightly within you and all children of God so we can light up the world for the final time before Jesus comes.

Jesus is the door into spiritual Eden, and all people can now come into the Kingdom of God. The door is in the form of the Cross He died on, but Jesus made it a glorious cross for us; and He said, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me (Matthew 16:24). Drop your nets of the world; get off your little boat of self, and walk the seas of promises with the Lord.

Jesus Brought Grace and Faith

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17). You are not to go from divine faith to oppression, depression, disobedience or anything unlike God; you must go from faith to faith, obedience, joy and divine peace. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

You must go from God’s grace to righteousness, holiness and goodness and never go from grace to disgrace, disobedience or sin. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ (Ephesians 4:7). And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace (John 1:16).

The just shall live by the Bit of Heaven who came down to Earth for us. It looked like such a little Bit as the people looked into the manger on that holy night, but it was the biggest Bit of Heaven human eyes had ever looked upon. Jesus is as big as all of Heaven, and He brought all the love and grace of Heaven to us. He is our Lord, Master and Savior; and He has all power.

Jesus Is the Son of God

One day, everything and everyone on the Earth, under the Earth and above the Earth will bow to the Bit of Heaven who came down; and they will confess that He is the Son of God. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11).

The devil, his demons and all those who choose to serve the devil will have to confess that Jesus is the Son of God. They will have to admit that He is the Savior of the world who came down from Heaven with the passport to eternal life so that “whosoever will” could go to Heaven. If anyone is left out, it will be their own fault because they would not reach out for the Bit of Heaven who came down to us.

That Bit came down from Heaven so you wouldn’t have to walk the crooked paths of life and be lost in the night; He came so you could be found. When you reach for Jesus, you will become a new creation in Christ; and your life will change. You can’t just decide to turn over a new leaf and change things on your own as many people do; you must be made completely new. Jesus gives you a brand-new life; so your paths, your wisdom and knowledge and the way you are being directed are all new. You will have nothing but truth and righteousness.

Jesus Did the Impossible

Think of Jesus’ friend, Lazarus, who became very sick. His sisters, Mary and Martha, loved him so much, and they called for Jesus; but when He finally arrived, Lazarus had been dead for four days. The Bit of Heaven had come, but they thought He was too late.

Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died (John 11:32). Jesus told Martha, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God (John 11:40)? Jesus knew exactly what He was doing. He had told His disciples earlier, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby (John 11:4).

When Jesus was standing in front of Lazarus’ tomb, He commanded, Take ye away the stone. Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go (John 11:39,41-44). That Bit of Heaven brought Lazarus out of the tomb. Oh, that men and women would move the stones in their lives out of the way! The Lord expects us to do what we can, and then He will do the rest.

The Pearl of Great Price

There are two classifications of doubters—honest-hearted doubters and dishonest-hearted doubters. Dishonesthearted doubters will not believe no matter how much of the greatness of the Bit from Heaven they see because they don’t want to believe. They don’t want the Son of God, and they don’t want their lives to be changed because they don’t want to live holy.

Honest-hearted doubters have never heard the whole truth or seen the greatness of the Bit of Heaven who came to Earth and died for them. When they finally receive the light of the truth, they are willing to listen; and the Spirit draws them to that truth. Then, like the man in the Bible, they will become willing to sell everything to receive that Bit of Heaven, the Pearl of Great Price. The kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it (Matthew 13:45,46).

If you have found the Pearl of Great Price, you must treasure it. Jesus must be your life, your daily walk, your thoughts and your direction. He must be your joy, your peace and above all, your love. When there are weary nights in which you can’t sleep, just lean on the wonderful breast of Jesus; and He will help you rest in peace. John found that place of rest during the Last Supper. Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved (John 13:23).

This message never ends because there was so much greatness in the Bit who came down from Heaven. Many saints in past ages have tried to tell the story of Jesus, but it can never all be told. We will be telling His story as the endless ages roll, and we still won’t be able to tell it all. There will always be more people stepping forward to tell how they made it to Heaven because of Jesus, the Bit of Heaven who came down to Earth for them.

Accept Jesus for Yours

If you are weary, lost and undone without God, you don’t have the Bit who came from Heaven. Your life is worthless, but there is still room at the Cross for you. There may be some of you who are thinking of committing suicide, but the Lord has kept you alive to read this message; and this Bit of Heaven will change your life if you accept Him. You may be an alcoholic or be addicted to nicotine or drugs, but this Bit of Heaven can deliver you so you will never crave those things again.

Sinner or Backslider, Jesus is at your door today, and there is power in His name to save you now if you will reach out for Him. If you die without this Bit from Heaven, hell will be your destiny; and once you are there, there is no way out.

Say this prayer right now: Oh, God, I want the Bit who came down from Heaven, your Son, Jesus. I am walking in the dark, and I have no light; but I know you can be my light. Oh, Jesus, come into my heart and forgive me of all my sins. I know you died for me, and I want to live for you. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in!

If you meant that prayer, Jesus has come; and He is yours. Start praying and remember that Jesus is at the right hand of the Father to make intercession for you. It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us (Romans 8:34).

Now, you must go on to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. You need Him living inside you if you want to go in the Rapture when Jesus comes. You also need Him to be your teacher and guide in this life. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:26). Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13).

Be Made Whole

Now that you have received Jesus, let that Bit of Heaven give you a miracle; but remember, the Lord heals for His honor and glory, so you have to serve Him and tell others about what He has done for you. Jesus healed sinners; but He said, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee (John 5:14).

Lord, I bring the people to you. I bring those who have AIDS, leprosy, cancer, diabetes, lung trouble, heart trouble, paralysis or crippled limbs. I bring you the little children who are deformed or dying with a deadly disease. Heal them all in the blood name of the Bit of Heaven who came to Earth to deliver us! Heal! in the precious, blood name of Jesus!

As I speak that name, health is flowing to you. Accept it today. I ask as Jesus did, Wilt thou be made whole (John 5:6)? Answer, “Yes,” and then give the Lord all of the glory for your miracle.

Always serve the Lord, and then I will meet you in Heaven where we will praise the heavenly Father as the eternal ages roll for sending that precious Bit from Heaven to us. God bless you.
