When the Psalmist said, My cup runneth over (Psalm 23:5), he didn’t mean his soul ran over: He was referring to his mind—his mind cup. Your soul came from God; there is no limit to its capacity. The mind, however, is limited in how much it can hold. Always know what is in your mind. You serve others the things in your mind cup. By not knowing what is in your mind cup, you tend to say and to serve the wrong things. It isn’t enough to have the holiness of God in your soul; it must be in your mind, too. When the mind is gone, God cannot serve through that person any longer. He can serve only through the mind. It is essential that your mind be exactly right, that you take on the mind of Jesus.

That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour (I Thessalonians 4:4). Sanctification means holiness; to sanctify is to make holy. Know how to possess your cup in holiness and righteousness. Know how to possess your mind in sanctifying power through the blood of Jesus, to have it sanctified at all times.

Do you check what is in your mind cup? Again and again, examine your thoughts. The mind can speed recklessly around the world in seconds. Anything that can move that fast needs checking. Driving down the road, you easily can exceed the speed limit without being aware of it. You check your speedometer often if you want to obey the speed limit. Your mind needs to be checked often, too. People—unpleasant, disgruntled, grumbling, complaining—can occupy a part of your mind, robbing you of peace. Turn those people over to God and get them out of your system. Reject the things you don’t want in your mind. Babies are wonderful, but once they start crying, it’s a relief to turn them over to mother. When people are disgruntled, bringing discord and there is nothing more you can do for them, it’s a relief to turn them over to the Lord.

Paul knew what was in his mind. He wrote, I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day (II Timothy 1:12). To know in your mind that you believe in Jesus and to have confidence in Him is true security. Some people fool themselves, thinking they have committed everything to the Lord. Their actions prove otherwise, for they do not live as though they believe God will keep them according to His promises. Walking the floor with worry, wringing their hands, they doubt God. They may be on their way to becoming persuaded, but they are not there yet.

To know Jesus is to rejoice in His promises and to believe them, nothing doubting, to be certain that He will never leave you nor forsake you. To know Him is to know that you have eternal love, grace, goodness, mercy and eternal life with Him in Paradise.

Job believed; he said, For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth (Job 19:25).

How wonderful to really know that Jesus is alive, that He is the same yesterday, and to-day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8)! Yet many don’t really accept in their minds that Jesus will move today as He did when He walked the earth. They do not think their Redeemer liveth. If, with their physical eyesight, they could see Him right by their side, they would be convinced of all the Bible’s great promises. But they don’ see Him, and they don’t really acknowledge He is alive.

Know what you believe. Stop being deceived, thinking you trust God when you don’t. The devil has fooled God’s people, made them unhappy, depressed, oppressed, robbed them again and again by making them think they trusted God when they really were trusting self. What the devil puts into the mind is false. Because Christians accept the false, they are depressed, unhappy children of God. Although salvation is in their souls, they are not enjoying it.

Some Christians have everlasting peace in their souls, but not much peace in their minds; not only unhappy when they are awake, they have nightmares in their sleep. The day they finally arrive in Heaven, it will be with many missed blessings. The peace and joy in their souls never reached their minds because they wouldn’t let the Holy Ghost shed it abroad.

How sad to be on your way to Heaven and not take advantage of the wonderful benefits the Lord offers you here on Earth! The Holy Spirit will flush your mind if you want it flushed, flush it so you can enjoy the things of the Lord. Before He can flush it, however, you must want to be rid of the clutter in it.

The mind and soul work together as you yield to the Holy Spirit. Give over to Him completely at all times so He can keep the mind flushed from any hindrance that would keep you from believing all God’s Word. The Holy Spirit uses living water to flush the mind out, living water gushing forth from your soul. Not on the outside, the water and the Spirit must be inside. The Holy Ghost dwells on the inside of you when you have been baptized in Him. Salvation comes first, the soul is made ready, and then it’s time to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. Everyone needs the baptism in the Holy Ghost.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice (John 10:4). Do you really know the voice of the Lord? If so, why would you ever be afraid? The voice of the Lord wipes out the fear, removes depression and sets minds free.

If you don’t know the voice of the Lord, the devil takes advantage. He uses the opportunity to slip in his voice, and you don’t know the difference. Remarkably good at counterfeiting the voice of God, the devil will tell you all kinds of false things mixed in with just enough truth to make them seem believable. The devil would like to make you think the Lord doesn’t love you, that He has forgotten you. Jesus said that when the devil speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it (John 8:44). The devil is a thief, a robber, a murderer and, of course, a liar.

People are troubled in their minds when they think they know Jesus, but they really don’t. They try to make themselves believe; trying to believe is not the same as believing. Jesus said to a man who sought healing for his son, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief (Mark 9:23,24). All things are possible when you believe all God’s Word. Do you know it in your heart? If so, then you know you can have deliverance from whatever binds you. Why should you doubt? You know your miracle is possible. Why not accept it? Since all things are possible as Jesus said, your miracle is within your reach. Why let it get away from you? Why not take it with you? It is a gift from God, already paid for on Calvary. Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

But I don’t feel that I have a miracle, you say. Feel? The Bible says the just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17). You don’t claim the promises of God through living by feelings but through living by faith. People who are easily hurt live in their feelings. Feelings rule, and feelings are not to be trusted. The devil loves to distort feelings, run wild with them. People who believe all their feelings live the life of a pathetic wounded animal, or they become bitter, striking out at others, wanting to hurt because they are hurt.

If you are easily hurt, the devil will see to it that you have a multitude of things to be hurt over. Some people respond to everything with their feelings, and consequently they feel sorry for themselves when the inevitable hurt comes. Rather than being controlled by feelings they need to realize that this is not God’s will for them and let God’s love flow in to neutralize the hurt.

Live on God’s faith that identifies feelings for what they are. The greatest defense against hurt feelings is love, God’s love and understanding of yourself and of where others are coming from. Be secure in the reality of God’s love and realize that what others may do cannot diminish that love in you.

Turn your hurt over to the Lord; praise Him for His great love and care. Reason with God through the Word. Know the power of Calvary that defeats all the powers of the devil. The power of Calvary is supreme, power that tramples devils underfoot. If you know Calvary, you know strength, not weakness; faith, not fear. Calvary conquers all.

Do you carry Calvary in your mind or just in your soul? It must be heartbreaking to the Lord for His children to carry Calvary in their hearts and not in their minds. The mind was meant to be directed by the Holy Spirit. God works for you through your mind, but it’s hard for Him to work when you insist on nursing hurt feelings. All the greatness of the Lord stays in your soul if you don’t let the Holy Spirit use it in your mind.

The soul and mind must work together with the same kind of cooperation that the mind and the healthy stomach have. I believe the Bride will be a power for the Lord in this final hour because her mind and soul will cooperate with the Lord. Just like Jesus, she will be a terror to the devil. She will walk like Jesus, talk like Him, and all Heaven will flow through her to bring in the endtime harvest.

In order for your mind and soul to cooperate, you need to know what is in your mind. You know what is in your soul if you have asked Jesus to come in. You asked Jesus to save your soul because the Holy Spirit condemned you, let you know you were ungodly, lost and undone without the Lord, that you would go to hell without Him. But life came when the mind and soul cooperated with the Holy Spirit; you were born new, and your soul was sealed with the blood of Jesus.

Although the Holy Spirit can seal the soul with the blood of Jesus, He cannot seal the mind. The devil can get to the mind; he got to Christ’s mind, but Christ didn’t let him stay. Christ made him flee with the Word of God, with what was written.

All the Word of God is given with power. You can defeat the devil with the Word of God through the power of the Holy Ghost. Use it on the devil; it’s your weapon. With the truth in the Word of God, you render the devil helpless. Recognize the power available to you in the blood of Calvary and the Word of God.

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection (Philippians 3:10). If you know the power of Jesus’ Resurrection, you know you have power over the devil, power to trample devils underfoot. Why let the devil trample you? Why not live by faith? Why not be like the apostles and the Early Church disciples? They knew the power of the Resurrection.

Paul never saw Jesus in the flesh; he learned about Jesus from the Holy Ghost. He knew the power of the Resurrection, for he knew Jesus. Paul wrote, I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day (II Timothy 1:12). Paul gloried in the power of the Resurrection and what it would do, what it meant to him. Nothing could stop Paul, not persecutions or hardships. Rooted and grounded in the love of God, Paul let nothing take Jesus out of his mind. In mind as well as in soul, Paul loved God.

All too many people will not keep God’s love working in their minds, will not let the Holy Ghost shed it abroad the way He wants. Sometimes that love needs to be shed abroad often in one day. There are times when it seems the devil and all his demons are coming against you—it’s just your day to battle. Those are the times you need to turn yourself over to the Holy Spirit and let Him flush your mind with living water of everything that would hinder you.

Jesus said, The water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life (John 4:14). Notice the difference between the well of water in this verse and the rivers of living water: He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) (John 7:38,39). When you receive salvation, you receive a well of water springing up into eternal life. But when you are baptized in the Holy Ghost, you have rivers of living water flowing from the inside.

The Holy Ghost uses living water to flush your mind just as you would use natural water to cleanse things. How marvelous it is to have the Holy Spirit living and dwelling on the inside of you! You can depend on Him to do all He said.

Do you know the power of the Upper Room? The second chapter of Acts tells how the Holy Ghost fell on the Day of Pentecost; that Holy Ghost power is the secret of the Early Church. Those in the Upper Room were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4). Right after I was saved, I lived in that chapter; it became hope, faith, life to me. I wanted the power of the Holy Ghost that has been given the Early Church, the real baptism in the Holy Ghost, and I got it.

No one taught me to speak in tongues at will; I spoke as the Holy Spirit gave utterance. Those who speak in tongues at will are in darkness about the Holy Ghost. Those who “teach” others to speak in tongues probably don’t have the real Holy Ghost. If they had the real Holy Ghost they would be directed in the right way: He is the Spirit of Truth.

Teaching people to speak in tongues came from the spirit of darkness. Speaking in tongues at will was originated by the devil himself; he has deceived many people about tongues. Anyone with the real Holy Ghost knows that speaking in tongues at will is false doctrine, a disgrace. They don’t want to hear it. The Holy Ghost is the one to do the speaking through the person. The Holy Ghost speaks as He wills in the person who has received His true baptism.

Know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God (Ephesians 3:19). Just to know the love of Christ is wonderful! How matchless and marvelous is His love! When you know the love of Christ, you know He will do all things for you, put you in any place at any time to receive God’s promises fulfilled. That’s the reason the Bible speaks of the Holy Ghost shedding abroad the love of God in our hearts daily.

Many Christians are confused about love. I once heard someone say that they loved a certain person just enough to get to Heaven. When you start measuring your love like that, you don’t have enough.

Without love you can’t have faith. Paul, in I Corinthians, calls love charity. Now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity (I Corinthians 13:13). Without God’s love, you have nothing.

First Corinthians 13 is the love chapter; in it we learn what love really is. It begins: Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things (I Corinthians 13:1-7).

The bride will not be a stranger to God’s love. She will know His love described in the thirteenth chapter of I Corinthians. Stay in this chapter; memorize it. Learn it so well that you can use any part of it at any time to defeat the devil. Love—God’s love—defeats the devil. His love on Calvary defeated the devil for us. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son (John 3:16). Love did it. As disciples of His, we can’t afford to be strangers to His love. The thirteenth chapter of I Corinthians is the best description of God’s love that can be found, a full definition that no human mind ever could have thought of. Again and again the Holy Spirit has turned this chapter over in my mind. He will do the same for you as you yield to Him.

Will the love you have suffer long, or do you have impatient love? Impatient love is human love. God’s love is the strongest power in the universe; man’s love is fragile. God’s love reaches to the lowest depths of despair and lifts people out of the darkness of sin. That nail-riven hand, that hand of love will rescue all who come to Him.

Using God’s love is like using electricity. I don’t really understand electricity, but I know where to push the switch to get light. I know how to plug in the appliance I want to use, how to operate it—that’s what counts. I don’t avoid using electricity because I don’t understand it. I don’t understand God’s love, either; but I know how to use it, and I know it works.

Love is kind. Are you a kind person? If you are not kind all the time, the love of God isn’t being shed abroad in your mind all the time. Love doesn’t envy, doesn’t puff up, is not egotistical. I see Christians puffing up because their feelings are hurt; they may pout and stop speaking. Some alternate between self-pity and indignation. Self-important, haughty, they think only of themselves and not the other person. Although they are adults, many refuse to grow up, to put petty, childish behavior behind them. They will never be old enough to see their second childhood because they never grow out of their first. Paul said, When I became a man, I put away childish things (I Corinthians 13:11).

Love does not act selfishly, but always with honor, seeking the will of God, striving to be a blessing to all.

Love doesn’t go into rages or think evil of others. I have known children of God who imagined all kinds of vile things against their brothers and sisters in Christ. They don’t believe their fellow Christians are doing right, but they don’t know for sure. However, they feel free to broadcast their suspicions. The mind cup needs to be washed out; it’s contaminated. The devil has put unclean thoughts into it.

If you don’t watch your cup, the devil will. He loves to see you neglect it. Every time he gets a chance, he will drop a bug into your thinking.

Don’t rejoice in the wrong-doing of others; rejoice in the truth of God. Do you rejoice in the good truth about people or do you find it not very interesting? If you prefer gossip, you may be bored with the good things you hear about others.

God’s love will never fail. With great tender love, care and patience, God works with people; He understands them. How sad that some Christians are strangers to His love. If you don’t use His love, you are a stranger to it. You don’t use what you are not familiar with. The minds of many Christians are strangers to the love of God. His love in their souls has not been allowed to flow into their minds. It is hard to understand why people act in petty ways when they have salvation, why their minds do not work through love.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13). You can do everything through Him that He calls you to do. This verse must be in your mind as it is in your soul. In your soul you have the knowledge that through the power of the Holy Ghost, Christ’s strength will move for you as it did for Paul. You have that strength because you have Jesus in your soul. Now let the Holy Spirit flow the strength, peace and power of Christ into your mind, filling your cup with Jesus’ love, peace, wisdom and knowledge. The Holy Spirit can serve you cup after cup of Jesus. You can never have too much of His joy, peace, happiness. You can never have too much goodness, mercy or forgiveness; but the Holy Spirit will not fill a mind that isn’t clean. Keep your mind clean so the Holy Spirit can feed it the great things God has placed in your soul—the love, the faith, the courage and all the rest. Let the Holy Spirit keep flushing out your mind cup from anything that might prevent Him from filling it.

Know how to possess your mind in sanctification and honor. The mind must be pure, holy, and honor God. Jesus prayed for His followers, prayed that God would sanctify them through thy truth (John 17:17).

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). When Jesus is in your soul, know that He will supply all your needs. Why should you hinder the Lord? Why should you tie the hands of God, preventing Him from giving you that good job, from helping you meet your expenses? Why tie God’s hands with fear and unbelief? Why not trust Him? If you tithe and give unto God, live holy, pure and clean, you can claim any promise in the Word of God.

Rejoice in Him as you wait for Him to move. They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). His faith lets you know you will mount up, so why should you worry? Instead of accepting the doubts the devil puts into your mind about whether or not God cares for you, know He care so much that Jesus died on the cross for your salvation, so you could live with Him for eternity. God will never fail to keep one of His promises. You know He will supply all your needs because you know He cares, He loves you with all His heart.

Don’t be spiritually crippled; don’t let the past hinder you. If you never had the security of human love, know that you can have the greater security of divine love. Let it be a living reality to you. The love of God is waiting to heal you. Jesus is saying: Wilt thou be made whole?

To be made whole is to be rid of the scars, the hurts and the weaknesses. Some people seem to bask in mistreatments, reliving them again and again. Rather than looking back to the storms of the past, look to the love of Jesus. Bask in the sunlight of Him, in the light of His glory and love. Depend on that sunlight.

The Lord is with you in hard times and in good times. If you find yourself in another storm, know that Jesus is with you. Rejoice in His shelter and overcoming power, confident that He hears your prayers. That sureness must be in your mind when you are praying: He hears! Hears! He promised to hear!

If you don’t pray through God’s promises, you don’t have anything for God to answer. He works through His promises. God is not obligated to fulfill a promise you haven’t claimed. The Bible holds promises for everything you need. The greatest promise is the promise of salvation of your soul. You have to accept that promise or you never will be born again. He promised you the Holy Ghost, and if you do not accept that promise, you will not be baptized in the Holy Ghost. He promised you healing, and you must accept that promise to receive your miracle. Through promise you claim the things you need from God.

We are people of promise, covered with His promises. The promises of God are the greatest security you could have. His promises are for your safety, your health, peace, happiness, your very life. Everything of eternal value hinges on the promises of God.

Many Christians do not believe God’s promises in their minds, although that faith to believe is in their souls. If you do not have the faith and love of God in your soul, you would not have salvation. When you do not claim God’s promises, you are not letting them work in your mind. Do you hold back the promises of God in your life, wondering what’s wrong, what you have done? It isn’t what you have done, but what you haven’t done. You haven’t yielded to the Holy Spirit, the one who has come to be your helper. How can He help you if you won’t cooperate? How can anyone teach you if you refuse to listen?

Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10). Be still, quiet down and listen to the Lord. Your opinion may be that the Lord won’t hear you, but it is a wrong opinion. The Psalmist wrote, The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles (Psalm 34:15,17). When a righteous person speaks, the Lord hears it. A righteous person knows the Lord would hear at once if he were to say a curse word. If God can hear a curse word, think how much more He will hear our good words. The Lord hears every word you speak; make sure those words edify and bless.

Jesus said, Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned (Matthew 12:36,37). Be careful what you say; know that the Lord hears your prayers. Don’t make the Holy Spirit chase after your mind to try to reason with it. Be still and listen to Him. Like Moses told the Israelites, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD (Exodus 14:13).

Standing on the brink of the Red Sea with Pharaoh’s army closing in behind them, the Israelites were in a state of panic. They didn’t see any way out of their situation, and they were furious with Moses. From their point of view, it would have been better to have remained slaves in Egypt than to die in the wilderness. Some people always reserve a little corner for condemnation; it’s like a special shrine in their minds. Not only do they condemn others, they condemn themselves as well, always afraid the Lord is going to drop a bomb on them. The devil wants you to be afraid of God.

Fearing God, as the Bible tells us, means having great respect for Him, awe, honor and reverence. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7). His children are not to be afraid of Him—but sinners should be, because of them His judgment will fall.

God heals. Is the knowledge that God heals only in your soul or is it in your mind, too? If it is, you can claim His healing promise and be delivered from your affliction. Put it under the blood of Jesus. The Bible tells us that with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). With His blood stripes we are healed.

There is no need to seek healing in a church that doesn’t believe in miracles. Go where the power of God is moving, where people are receiving miracles, healings and deliverances. I know what it means to be dying in excruciating pain and wanting to live. And I know what it means to have no pain, to have health after being sick for so long. Faith in God heals the sick. I know He heals; He healed me. The promise of healing is in my soul and in my mind. I know what it means to have one’s youth renewed, to be young, to have the years fall away. The Bible says the Lord will renew your strength, and the Bible tells nothing but the truth.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). The truth will make you free. If you know the truth and still are not free, then you know it is only in your soul and not your mind. The truth must work in the mind if you expect to use it; God’s promises must be alive in your mind. You are free through the truth; you know that no demons can bind you, no depression belongs to you. God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Acts 10:38).

Do you know God’s faith? Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Faith is substance, evidence of something you have not yet seen. The faith chapter, Hebrews 11, talks of people who had God’s faith in their minds as well as in their souls. Do you have that kind of faith? If you have salvation, His faith is in your soul, miracle faith, saving, healing faith. It’s deliverance faith, joyous faith, strength faith.

God’s faith separated the waters of the Red Sea, quenched the violence of fire for the three Hebrew boys, closed the lions’ mouths for Daniel. God’s faith is the only kind of faith you need to overcome the devil, the only kind you need to bridge all the gulfs and pitfalls of life. His is the only kind of faith that will take you to Heaven, will help you be ready to meet the Lord in the air.

In this eleventh chapter of Hebrews, the Lord reminds you what His faith did for others. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain…By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God (Hebrews 11:4,5). By faith Enoch pleased God. You want to know how to please God? Use faith, for without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6). You are not pleasing God if His faith in your soul is not able to reach your mind. You are displeasing Him, failing Him. You doubt God will move. The devil and people as well frighten you, and you are in no condition to do God’s will. Jesus brought the new and living way to give you a new life, a life in Him that lives in His promises. Many Christians, having souls made new through the blood of Jesus, don’t act out their salvation.

Study the faith chapter. It would be good to memorize it. Just this one chapter has enough faith in it for you to defeat all the powers of the devil every day you have left on Earth, to defeat all the weakness and darkness around you. How much do you know of this chapter? Is the faith in the eleventh chapter of Hebrews a stranger to you? Are you a stranger to it? Do you understand this kind of faith? The faith of the ones recorded here is working faith, Heaven’s faith for Earth people. Through the faith of God in their minds, they were able to overcome great adversity. Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again (Hebrews 11:33-35). This is the kind of faith that is in your soul. And others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect (Hebrews 11:35-40).

These saints of God used what was in their souls, the faith, the love of God. The sufferings they had to endure would have turned many away from God, but they yielded themselves to the Lord in trust. Some were degraded by the world, and yet their faith worked. Martyrs rotted in prison, were burned at the stake, beheaded, crucified, fed to wild animals; still they were triumphant. Human beings gloated over their sufferings. What would you have done had you been one of the martyrs? If you had their faith, you would have done the same as they did. In this final hour, we can’t afford to have anything less than that kind of faith.

The faith described in the eleventh chapter of Hebrews and the love described in the thirteenth chapter of I Corinthians are the faith and love we must have today. Then read in the ninety-first Psalm of the miraculous protection God has for you. This is another chapter it would be well to memorize. Those three chapters together give you great strength to serve God.

The things in the Bible are real; they are for us today. The Creation story in Genesis is real; God did create the heavens, the earth and everything in them. God is the creator; He creates and re-creates. If you need a miracle of re-creation, you can have it. Many have had parts of their body re-created by the hand of God. Know the Bible is true. Know God separated the waters of the Red Sea; know because you know His Word, His ways. Know His holiness, know He will soon return. Know this endtime hour, the signs of the times that are all around us. Know the Rock of your salvation and His living water. Experience it, drink of it, thrive on it. It’s your very life. Know His paths of righteousness. Know His peace and sanctifying power that make people holy. Know His strength, His tender care. He is your Good Shepherd.

John tells us that these things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life (I John 5:13). You have eternal life when you are born again. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure (I John 3:2,3).

Know you are blessed according to the Gospel of Matthew: Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you (Matthew 5:3-12). You are not lucky; you are blessed. The devil, not God, deals in luck. God’s own faith people are blessed by the hand of God.

The power of the anointing of God destroys the leeches of the mind. Some of you have leeches in the mind cup and you won’t let the Holy Spirit flush them out. Get the leeches out of your mind through the anointing of God. Carrying the anointing of God will cause the leeches to fall off. Those mental spirits of the enemy cannot hold on to torture the mind when you use the anointing of God for the mind. You can be free from them all.

God’s truth will let you know what is false, what is true. His truth in your mind will reject the dishonest, the unjust, the impure, the unlovely, that which is not of a good report. Check your mind with the list in Philippians that we are to think upon: Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8). Paul kept his mind on these six things, and he was victorious. He let nothing defeat him in his obedience to Christ. Had we not been given a choice of what to think on, we would not have these six things listed in Philippians. Those six things bring peace, joy, happiness.

What is in your mind? Knowing what is there will show you where you are with God and now much you are receiving from Him. Know what is in your mind and you can tell how close or how far from your miracle you are. Know what is in your mind and find how happy or unhappy you are. What is in your mind tells how close you are to the Lord through the blood of Jesus or how far you are from Him. Check your mind and you will know what your chances are of hearing from Heaven, of getting a prayer answered.

Are you happy in your mind? Do you have peace of mind? Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee (Isaiah 26:3). Keep our mind stayed on the Lord. If it were not possible to keep your mind on the Lord, the Bible would not have this verse in it. However, you can’t keep your mind on the Lord and keep it on everything else, too. Decide what is most important to think on. You can choose with your mind what to eat, and you can choose with your mind what you will think about. Realize that you have a choice.

Separate from those things you don’t want your mind to carry. Get rid of them. I learned as a child that I could get play out of my mind if I thought seriously about passing my exams. Nothing mattered but cramming my mind with facts about the subject I was to be tested on. I didn’t have time for anything else; I got down to business. I chose what I wanted to think about.

Condition your mind to choose the thoughts of God. Cram your mind full of the wisdom in the Word of God. The Bible is God’s mind for us. If you want to know what God thinks about you, go to the Word. If you want to know God’s plan for you, go to the Word. How much will God help you? Go to the Word.

The Word of God is Jesus’ will. He died for us and left His will for us. You are included in that will. If you are named in a will, don’t you want to read the will? Jesus left us everything in His will, healing for soul, mind and body and eternal life at the end of the journey. Get excited about His will.

Learn how to possess your mind, your cup mind in the holiness and righteousness of God; and the Holy Spirit will keep it filled with the right things. Then the mental spirits won’t be able to torment you. Many people are tormented in their minds who could be free. The Bible is a freedom book, but you must use it. God wants His people to be free. He gave us the truth to set us free and to keep us free. If you are free, thank God Almighty for it.

Do you know what is in your mind cup? You must know. Look into your soul and see what you have put in there through the grace of God that’s yours, and then examine to see if it’s in your mind.

Through Jesus, you are born again, free from all sin. Then no longer in bondage to sin, you have salvation; sin has no dominion over you. If you don’t have Jesus in your soul, pray the sinners’ prayer with me now: Oh, God: Save my soul! I’m so sorry I sinned against you! But I have come home. I’m going to serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. I believe in the blood of Jesus, and I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in!

If you meant that prayer, praise the Lord for saving your soul: Hallelujah, He is mine!

You who need a miracle for yourself or your child, let’s reach the Lord for that miracle now. The Bible says, The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up (James 5:15). I’m not a healer; I’m a believer, a Bible believer, and that’s the reason people are healed through the power of God.

Lord, I bring the sick and afflicted, the cancer patients, the heart patients, the diabetics, those who have had strokes, the little disabled ones. Lord, you have healed so many with these diseases and afflictions. Now move for each person who is praying with me. In the name of Jesus it comes from your supernatural gift of miracles and gifts of healing through the power of the Holy Ghost. Heal! Heal! in the name of the Lord!

The healing power is flowing; feel His holy presence now. It’s the power that healed me when I was so close to death, the power that gave me life. It can give you or your little one life, too. Watch all signs of improvement daily, and rejoice. Be careful to give the Lord all the honor, the praise and the glory. He is the one who saves, heals and delivers. Rejoice in Him and honor Him.

The Lord is moving today with the greatness of His power. All you have to do is use the faith that came into your heart the day the Lord saved you. That faith makes all things possible because that faith believes God. Instead of hunting for faith from people, look for it in your soul when you are born again. Always know that the greatness of God in your soul is also meant to be in your mind. Let the Holy Spirit shed abroad that faith and love into your mind to work together to serve you all things that Jesus taught and brought.
