What is in Jesus for us? Let’s examine Him, measure Him. Do you know Him? Where did He come from? Is He rich or poor, trustworthy and dependable? Does He keep His promises? Does He help? What does God say about His Son? What kind of record does He have of providing for the human race? What did He bring? What do we have in Jesus? The Lord wants us to learn all about Him, to know His love, His will and His benefits for us. Jesus said to a man who needed healing for his son: All things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23). The only one who can perform masterful surgery is Jesus.

Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked (John 5:8,9). This man had not walked in thirty-eight years. Then masterful surgery gave him a miracle. No one else but Jesus could perform surgery like this. put all the physicians together that have ever been on planet Earth and even they still could not perform masterful surgery. Jesus, however, just said the words, and the miracle was done. The man stood up, healed. That’s the Christ we have today, not another. He is our Christ, our physician, our healer, our all in all.

Jesus Healed the Blind

John 9:1: And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. He had never seen God’s sunshine, only felt it. Jesus spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing (John 9:6,7). By masterful surgery, Jesus gave the man eyesight. No man, no doctors can perform surgery like Him. Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. If this man were not of God, he could do nothing (John 9:32,33).

Blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee. And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way (Mark 10:46,47,49-52). The Lord healed the blind by masterful surgery.

Masterful Surgery Healed a Leper

More masterful surgery is recorded in Mark. And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed (Mark 1:40-42). What faith the leper had in masterful surgery! What faith he had in Jesus Christ! This poor leper—shunned by people, forced to wear a warning bell around his neck and to cry out that he was a leper to anyone who came near him—believed Jesus for healing. Immediately the leper was cleansed. And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away; And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter (Mark 1:43-45).

Jesus knew that people would be afraid when they heard this man had been a leper; there were people who would throw rocks at him, try to kill him. Nevertheless, the man healed of leprosy began to tell everyone. Unafraid and very bold, he was willing to pay the price for deliverance. He didn’t mean to be disobedient to Jesus; he wanted everyone to know what a wonderful thing had happened to him.

Masterful surgery can make you an evangelist at once. It had many evangelists in that day witnessing to this miraculous Christ. Even out in the desert, people came to find Jesus. With great love, marvelous grace, Jesus performed the miracles. What wonderful hands the man called Jesus has, hands that were nailed to the Cross for your deliverance from sin and sickness. The power and greatness that flow from them are given to you. Jesus is your physician.

Multitudes Flocked to Jesus

And when they were come out of the ship, straightway they knew him, And ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard he was. And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole (Mark 6:54-56). Recognizing masterful surgery, people flocked to Him wherever He went. They didn’t understand all about it; they just knew it worked. As many as touched Him were made whole!

Let the miraculous Jesus bring healing to you. He has given you the faith that you might touch Him; He has been made nigh to you through His shed blood. You can reach out and touch Him, and masterful surgery will be performed.

And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him. And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David. And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David. And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you? They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened. So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him (Matthew 20:29-34). Jesus was busy working, reaching and touching people here and there; and they were made whole. But when He heard two blind men cry out in faith, He stood still. What do you want me to do? He asked. When they told Him that they wanted sight, He had compassion. Jesus just touched their eyes, and the blind received sight.

Why did this great multitude of people follow Jesus? They saw masterful surgery performed. Never before had they seen such deliverances. Jesus wants people to follow and honor Him. He has compassion today for you, too. Do you believe in that compassion? Do you believe in His mercy? Do you believe He really loves and cars for you? If so, reach out, get His touch, and give God the glory.

God heals, but He must have the glory. Man cannot take credit for the healing of the Lord. All these years that I have had a healing ministry, I have never taken credit for any healing or miracle. I always give the Lord all the glory; it belongs to Him. Down through the years I have had one fear: that people wouldn’t give the Lord all the glory. I do my best to stay hidden behind the Cross and say, Jesus is the one. Jesus is the healer. Everyone praise Him and give Him the honor and glory.

Wonderful Promises of God

In the beginning of the Church, the apostles and evangelists went forth with great zeal and faith. This is the Church that Jesus purchased with His own blood. After the Resurrection and just before He ascended to Heaven, Jesus told the disciples, And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high (Luke 24:49). They received that power, the power of the Holy Ghost. In that power they had the same compassion that Jesus had, the same love. The gifts of the Spirit worked; Jesus’ power flowed to the people for their healing. That golden era lasted for about thirty-three years, and then weeds began to creep in.

Paul, writing to the church at Corinth, said, For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you (I Corinthians 11:18). He speaks of the failure of the Corinthians to rightly discern Christ as their Passover Lamb: Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep (I Corinthians 11:27-30). Some had died ahead of their time because they didn’t discern the Lord’s body; they didn’t recognize their Passover Lamb.

The Hebrews in Egypt recognized the delivering power in the Passover lamb when they ate the lamb’s body. The Passover lamb is a type and shadow of Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross for our salvation and deliverance. Three or four million people came out of Egypt healed. Later the Psalmist wrote that God brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes (Psalm 105:37). The Hebrews had been poor slaves whose individual lives were unimportant to the Egyptians. They had been mistreated, uncared for. One ancient historian reports that they had worn off the ends of their fingers making bricks for Pharaoh. In all the miracles the Lord performed to bring the Hebrews out of Egypt, I believe miracles of re-creation were included, and that is the reason not one feeble person was among them, no blind, no crippled, no diseased.

Just as the Lord moved in a mighty way to bring the children of Israel out of Egypt, God has wonderful things in store for the Bride in this her final walk as the bridal company comes together in one great army under the blood-stained banner of Jesus. She will be a terror to the devil with all her greatness. All the promises of God are for the obedient today. Yes, I accept this promise and amen. Let it be so, Lord.

All God’s promises, including His promises to heal, we owe exclusively to this man called Jesus, to His redeeming work. He bore our sicknesses as well as our sins. He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Jesus preached the acceptable year of the Lord, the year of Jubilee. All these two thousand years of the Church Age should have been jubilee years. There should have been freedom, liberty and deliverance as the gifts worked in perfection in the body of Christ at all times. The nine fruits of the Spirit should have been evident among God’s people, and God’s people should have continued in the divine will of God, walking just like Jesus walked, walking in His shoes. What a different world it would be now had the Church not failed! The devil has caused many people to fail, starting with the first Adam and the first Eve. But God will have a people in this last hour who will obey Him, trust Him, who will never murmur and complain, a people who act, talked like Jesus and take on His mind. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5).

Jesus preached the acceptable year of the Lord: the dispensation of the Holy Spirit. Since Pentecost, man has lived in the great Holy Ghost dispensation, but it’s about to come to an end. The early rain of the Spirit began to fall at Pentecost and lasted for the first thirty-three years of the Church Age. Then as the years passed, the light of God went almost completely out. Now in the latter rain of the Holy Spirit, what power, what greatness is being poured out! The rain of the Holy Spirit will grow greater and greater in this last and final hour until Jesus comes to take His Bride home.

Jesus, our great physician who performs masterful surgery, will destroy our last enemy, death. We have inherited much through Jesus, but not until the last enemy is conquered will we come into our full inheritance. Death will have no more power over us, for death and hell will be cast into the lake of fire.

They brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses (Matthew 8:16,17). Faith in God’s promises and blessings is the result of knowing and acting on God’s Word. His promises flow to you when you know and act on His Word, not on your feelings. Jesus cast out the spirits with His Word, the spoken Word. When we speak the Word of God, it works.

I use the spoken Word and devils have to flee; the blind receive their sight; the deaf hear. Jesus brought physical healing, masterful surgery. What are you going to do with it? What do you want to do with it? What comfort will you have from it? Take on the mind of Jesus; see as He sees; say what He says and act on it. God said it; act it out. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

Having the right mental attitude about the Word of God, the renewed mind, is vital. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2). The renewed mind proves what is the perfect will of God. The renewed mind comes when you take on the mind of Christ, a mind renewed in all the greatness of God, the Jesus mind.

People wonder what the will of God is, but the Bride will live the will of God. You must live the will of God in order for it to be produced in your life so you can serve it to others. If you don’t live the perfect will of God, you will not convince others to accept it.

The Seed of the Word

Jesus said, Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty (Matthew 13:18-23). The sower went out to sow, but the harvest all depended on where the seed landed. The Word is for everyone, but how many prepare the soil to receive it? Prepare to receive the Word.

To plant the seed of God’s Word successfully, you must have the right kind of mind, the right kind of soul. The seed sown on stony ground, the seed sown by the wayside and the seed sown in among thorns do not produce. They are not sown in the right places. Many hearts have poor soil; they lack depth. When trials and temptations come, when the sun bears down hot with persecutions, the seed is lost. But the seed planted in a mind fertile with the goodness of the Lord, in a soul pure and clean, will bear much fruit.

Some people make more preparations to meet a friend for a luncheon date than they do to meet the Lord in His Word. Don’t ever sit down with the Word unless you are prepared for it. The Word is the most valuable possession you have; it contains all the knowledge of God that you need for this journey. Through the Word you receive knowledge of God’s love, faith and will for you.

Growing up on the farm, I learned about seed; I understood it. We were conscious that Dad was going to keep the best seed. His expert eye examined the seed closely to make sure it was in prime condition to produce, to bear life. My father concentrated on planting the seed just right. He taught this method to his children, and he checked on our work. Had we buried the seed deep enough? He knew how each seed needed to be planted in order to take root. We didn’t eat or destroy the seed he needed for planting; that seed had to be protected so it could be buried into the earth to produce and reproduce.

Life, eternal life is in the seed of the Word of God. The Word is the seed of divine love, divine grace, divine holiness and righteousness. The Word is the seed of longsuffering, of all the greatness of God through Jesus Christ for us. He sent His Word to you, and in the Word is everything you need; the Word is the seed.

Be sure the seed you plant is the right seed, the seed from God. The Word reveals that it is God’s will to heal; it is God’s will that you have freedom from sickness. Know the seed, the truth of the Word of God. What a harvest this seed produces!

You will not plant the Word until you receive it, know it, understand it and trust it to grow. Just reading the Word of God is not the same as planting it. Many think they are planting seed in their spirits, but they are only reading the Word. If you do not know what seed you are planting, you may be planting weeds. All too often people sow weeds in their minds rather than sowing the truth of God. Other times they are in too much of a hurry to plant the Word of God in their minds and hearts. They may open the Bible but read it in a superficial manner. You can read the whole Bible and not plant one seed of it in your spirit. Whether or not you receive from the Word depends on your mental attitude. The Word must be planted in your mind; you must know it is true. The Word can’t be planted until you know what’s in it. You have to receive it, then plant it and trust it to grow. Once the Word is planted in your heart, don’t dig it up to see if it’s sprouting: trust it.

When my father planted seed, he trusted; he knew how long it would take before the plants would come up. He knew the nature of the seed, that much depended on the right weather conditions, on rain, sun, soil and the care he gave it.

If you don’t trust the Word completely, you are not watering it. The Word will not produce if you do not care for it, will not bring forth what God promised. The Word must be used in the right way. Know what God is talking about, and then you can receive what God is telling you, not what someone else thinks about it. Know God’s Word is real, receive it and then it’s planted. Now you water it with steadfast trust.

If your faith wavers, you will not receive. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord (James 1:6,7). All too often people read the Bible with wavering faith. The seed is not planted. They don’t have knowledge of the Bible being God’s Word, that it is just like God Himself speaking the words. His Word is that powerful, that great.

Salvation comes by faith, by trusting the known will of God. You must know it’s God’s will to save you before you can be saved. That knowledge must be planted in your spirit. God uses parables to teach us His deepness. He doesn’t want us to make Him complicated, or keep Him at arm’s length and never let Him move in close. We have been made nigh through the blood of Jesus when we are born again.

Healed by the Blood

Many are not healed because they do not know the will of God. Healing is His will. One of His seven redemptive names in the Old Testament is I am the Lord that healeth thee, or I am your physician. Use the name of Jesus. All seven redemptive names are incorporated in His name. That’s the reason there is so much power when we speak His name. When His name is spoken in all faith, the devils flee, sicknesses leave.

Do not separate salvation and physical healing. Being healed is being saved in a physical sense. Healing is for body and soul both. If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9). Saved is from the Greek word sozo which means healed, saved from sickness. To confess with your mouth and believe in your heart, you must have knowledge of what you are confessing and believing. Get the soil ready through the blood so you can receive God’s Word. God has mercy upon the honest hearted; His seed can find lodging in an honest heart, in a person who yearns to know, to receive God, to have Jesus. When the blood covers the soul, washes all the sin away, the soil is prepared to hear all that God has said.

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed (I Peter 2:24). Jesus bore our sins, our sicknesses. He is the sin-bearer and the sickness-bearer. Jesus didn’t bring half an atonement; He brought the full atonement, healing for soul, mind and body. I bring again the scripture in Isaiah: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

All Things Are Possible

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour (Matthew 8:8-10,13). The centurion was not of the household of faith, not saved, but he accepted Jesus as the true Son of God. Although thinking he was unworthy for Jesus to come under his roof, he knew if Jesus would say the word, his servant would be healed. He received the spoken Word, the living Word. Such faith amazed Jesus.

The Word Produces

When you receive the Word, you get results; but the Word must get on the inside of you, must be a part of your spirit, a part of your mind and soul. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you (John 15:7). If His Word lives in you, ask what you will. His Word is living seed; it produces. The Word performs masterful surgery. Let the Word come to life, live and work on the inside of you to heal you, soul, mind and body. When the Word works on the inside, it produces this great love, this great goodness of the Lord.

John the Baptist, imprisoned and facing death, sent some of his disciples to Jesus. He had seen the Holy Ghost descend upon Jesus when he baptized Him. John said, And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God (John 1:34). John knew Jesus was the Son of God, but he had been through much, mistreated in prison, and he wanted assurance one more time that Jesus was the Christ, and that he, John, really was the forerunner of the Messiah. Jesus told John’s disciples to go back and tell the works they had seen, tell him about the manifestations. And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight. Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached (Luke 7:21,22). Freely it was all done, freely this great deliverance, this great Gospel was offered to all. Whosoever will, let him come and receive salvation, deliverance from sin and sickness. Go tell John about it, Jesus said. When John heard, he must have rejoiced knowing Jesus was the Christ; and with that knowledge John was ready to die. Why be affected by what the world thinks? That should be the least of your worries. What God thinks about you is what counts. He knows the ones who belong to Him.

He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions (Psalm 107:20). The Word heals and delivers. People need the Word. The flesh needs food that will nurture it, and so does the soul. God sent Jesus, the Word, to heal us. Do you believe in His Word? It was made flesh and dwelt among us. The Word has all the power that Jesus demonstrated, all the power He manifested when He was here, but the Word must be transplanted from book form into reality in the mind and heart.

God Heals in Many Ways

And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him. And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue; And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain (Mark 7:32-35). That’s masterful surgery. What medical doctor would spit on his finger and heal a person? If one did that to you, you probably wouldn’t go back to him. But the miracle really happened. This man, once deaf and dumb, could hear and speak plainly. He was healed by the miracle power of God. Jesus gave Himself for our sicknesses and diseases.

Jesus healed in many different ways, showing that He was the Master of everything. No matter how He moved, no matter how He healed, the miracles took place. Jesus used no medicines, for He was greater than all the medicines in nature. The medicine in nature, of course, comes from God; He put it here for us to use, but the power of Jesus is greater than it all. Jesus was God manifested in the flesh. I marvel at the way Jesus moved. Remember, He stooped down, made some mud and put it on the eyes of a blind man, and the eyes were re-created. Other times Jesus just spoke and the miracle was done.

Don’t limit God. He moves in many ways. People can hinder their miracle when they come to me thinking the miracle must take place a certain way. I pray the way God moves on me to pray. Sometimes He tells me to just speak, sometimes to touch, sometimes to put my fingers in a person’s ears. Representing Jesus Christ, I can touch a person and the Lord brings healing. I call on the name of Jesus, and he uses me as He performs masterful surgery.

Through the divine blood of Jesus, the miracles come; through divine blood comes masterful surgery. We take no credit for God’s miracles because divinity is the doer, not man; divinity performs the greatness of God. We own no divinity, but the Lord does, and He has made the children of God partakers of this wonderful divine nature. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature (II Peter 1:4).

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord (Luke 4:18,19). It takes masterful surgery to heal a broken heart, to deliver the captives from sickness and sin. Jesus came on a great mission, but it’s our mission now, too. If you have promised the Lord you will help take Him to the world, you have taken on that same responsibility of Jesus.

Speak No Idle Words

Check every opinion you have with the Word of God. Be careful what you say. Jesus said, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned (Matthew 12:36,37). Most people tend to speak more idle words than they speak words of edification. Not one idle word did Jesus speak when He was here; we have no record of any. Some people pour out idle words and when their words cause a problem, they say they didn’t mean anything by them.

Peter cut off a man’s ear and was angry when Jesus put it back on the man, good as new. Even after witnessing this masterful surgery, the men arrested Him, crucified Him. When people have the devil in them, nothing will stop them unless they want to be stopped. They won’t recognize God even when they see miracles, for they must believe God for little things before they can accept the big ones. Many won’t believe God even when His miracles take place before their very eyes.

Face the truth about your loved ones, those with hardened hearts. You won’t help get them free unless you face the truth. If they’re lost, they’re lost. Those who die without God will be in hell. When preaching the funeral of one who has died lost, I don’t say that one is in Heaven. I tell those who are left that they had better not go to hell. If the Lord moves on me, I read: And in hell he lift up his eyes (Luke 16:23). You will not face reality until you face the whole Word of God. Without the Word of God, people don’t have reality either of Heaven or hell. They don’t know the Word, haven’t accepted it, haven’t planted it and so they can’t trust it.

Steadfast faith brings results. If God said it, I believe it. Don’t seek the opinions of others; seek the Word. Stand on what God has said. The Word of God is where you receive knowledge. Masterful surgery takes you over, brings you out of the state of doubt and puts you into a state of faith.

God’s Power Is Present to Heal

For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues. And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him (Mark 3:10,11). But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities (Luke 5:15). Masterful surgery. And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them (Luke 5:17). Whether they were healed or not, the power of God was present to heal if they believed. Why would anyone doubt the God who made them? Why would people refuse His healing power for the body He made?

A certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet: The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter. But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs. And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter (Mark 7:25-29). Healing is the children’s bread. This mother humbled herself as low as she could stoop. The Lord lifted her up, gave her a whole loaf. And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed (verse 30). That’s masterful surgery.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened (Matthew 7:7,8). Following these steps is more simple than going to the drug store and getting a prescription filled. You only have to ask—but your faith can’t waver. All things are possible to him that believeth.

Every word in the English language that ends with eth means to continue, no end. Everyone who asks in the right way can receive; everyone who abides in the Word and the Word abides in him can receive.

Abide in Jesus and let His Word live in you. Know the Word, plant it in your heart, water it with trust, and it will produce, bring forth all that God said it would. Seek in faith. Faith isn’t a beggar. God’s faith has dignity. That’s the reason people stand up in the dignity of God when they’re full of faith.

Prepare to Receive

The Word, listen to the Word. Some people can’t seem to stay quiet long enough to listen to the Word; they want their ears tickled. God called me to preach His Gospel, and I give people what the Word says. I spend much time with the Word, and I’m full of the promises of God. If you want healing, spend time to know where it comes from. Prepare to receive. Don’t run off in the middle of masterful surgery. Accept the Word.

Some years ago a man was hitchhiking, and he saw the lights of the church. He walked into the service, and when the healing line was called for, he came for prayer. “Are you saved?” I asked him. “Do you smoke?”

He said, “If I had known I would have to go through all this, I never would have come in here.”

Many people are that way when the Lord starts working on them. They wouldn’t have presented themselves to the Lord had they known all they had to face up to. If they want masterful surgery, they must realize that their lives are the Lord’s business. Grudges held stand between you and God. Spirits of clamor and anger tie God’s hands and He is unable to do for you what He wants.

The Lord wants you to clean up before you present yourself for healing. He needs to take out the anger first. But when self is too strong to let the anger, confusion or clamor come out, God cannot move for you in a great way. You miss your masterful surgery.

When the Lord came to heal me, I was ready, but I didn’t know that I was. I knew I was ready to die, for I had been living close to God. I knew God couldn’t find one sin in my life. I had walked before Him with a perfect heart in His love; there was no condemnation in it, and I didn’t understand why God didn’t heal me. It was a very trying time. Then as I was at the edge of the grave, he did heal me. He had no trouble performing masterful surgery. He prepared the metal for the Master’s use, prepared me to receive the gifts of God, prepared me to go to the ends of the earth, to make any sacrifice so that others could have deliverance. I was ready to preach all the Word, act on all of it, to believe it all and leave none out. God didn’t hold one thing against me.

If you are sick today, it doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong in your life, but just to make sure, you should check. Go to Galatians, chapter five, and read the seventeen works of the flesh. Are any of them in your life? Are you doing any one or more of these things: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings or such like? Be rid of everything that would keep you away from masterful surgery.

You must yield to God to receive salation, to get rid of the grudges, resentment, bitterness, envy, strife, rebellion and anger. If, after you have received Christ, you let those things come back and linger, you will be robbed of your salvation. Many have momentarily lost out with God because they let things back into their lives that stood between them and God. The good Lord had saved them, but they didn’t hold on to it. You must hold to the things of God and be rid of self.

Get ready for masterful surgery. Listen closely to the Word of God; recognize it to be the seed. Carefully examine the seed. It’s seed from Heaven, seed of faith, seed of deliverance, salvation. It’s seed with all the power of the seven redemptive names of Jehovah God, all the power of Jesus, all the greatness of the Godhead. The Word, the seed of the Word carries it all; but that seed must be used in the right way. Misusing the promises of God renders them ineffective, destroys God’s promises, destroys the seed.

Some people tell God they will serve Him, do anything for Him, but they won’t. Humbling themselves, promising to serve Him, they later become stubborn with God and won’t walk the path He wants them to walk, the pathway of the Jesus humility.

There isn’t enough humility in flesh to enable anyone to walk the Jesus path and have the things of God. It takes the humility of Jesus to have the things of God, to see His promises fulfilled in your life. Humility, of course, is one of the fruits of the Spirit, divine humility.

The only thing that will separate you from your God is your sin. In examining yourself to see if you are in a condition to be healed, find out how much of the Word of God is in action in your heart. Are you living the Word? Are you living in the holiness and righteousness of God? That’s the Word. Are you living pure, clean of all sin; does sin no longer have dominion over you? The Word says that if the Son [or the Word] therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed (John 8:36). Walk hand in hand with Jesus.

If you believe the Word concerning salvation but you don’t yet have it in your soul, pray with me now: Oh, God, I am lost! I am so sorry I sinned against you, but I have come home. I’m going to serve you, Lord, with all of my heart. I believe in the Word of the living God. I know that Jesus Christ died for me, and I believe His blood washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus!

If you meant that prayer, He has come. Start serving the Lord now in prayers, fastings and living in His Word. By doing so, you are eligible for masterful surgery.

Reach out for masterful surgery. Know the written Word and know the spoken Word. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Accept the seed of the Word, examine it, become knowledgeable about it, and expect its fruits.

Did you examine it as it came forth? Will you accept the seed for physical healing? Did you make room for it? Have you become knowledgeable of it? Never forget that the seed of the Word has healing not just for the soul, but for the body also. Plant that seed, water it with steadfast trust. Be unmovable in accepting the promises of God. He said, I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26). Believe His divine seed from Heaven, His divine promises. Plant them in your heart; give them the right soil so they can spring forth for you in full living reality.

How beautiful to see a flower come forth from a seed! It’s a miracle of nature. But the miracle of healing is greater. What great manifestation of the miraculous power of God springs forth through His faith!

By the masterful surgery of Jesus, the blind receive their sight, the deaf hear, the cripples are made to walk. Many have been healed by the power of Jesus in this ministry. A man testified that he was healed while watching my television program. He had been lost, undone, crippled and could not walk. His wife had left him home while she went to church one Sunday morning. He tuned in the television, and when I prayed for the sick, he crawled over to the set, got ready for the prayer, and when it came, he reached up his hand and was made whole. When his wife returned home, she no longer had a crippled husband.

God heals in many ways, remember, and He can heal you right now. What a Redeemer! Pray with me now if you need healing. Lord, I bring the sick and afflicted to you. I have given them your Word; and Lord, if they have accepted it, it will produce. From your supernatural gifts of healing and your gift of miracles, it comes in the name of your Son Jesus. Heal! Heal! in the name of the Lord, in the holy name of Jesus.

I could feel the healing power flowing as I prayed: Be thou made well. If you will accept the Word as I gave it to you, that power will go into your body, and it will work. Jesus will get you well. Masterful surgery is offered you. Why not reach out and take it? Behold the only one who can perform masterful surgery: Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God.
