Discouragement is one of the most powerful instruments the devil uses on God’s true children. If you are not alert to him, he can get inside your mind with the spirit of discouragement and grind you down. You must recognize what the devil is trying to do and never listen to him because when you do, he will fool you every time with things that are not true.

How many times have you let discouragement cause you to fail to do what the Lord wanted you to do or to stay out of church when you could have been there? How many souls have you missed because you listened to the devil? Discouragement is dangerous because it takes over so much of your mind. You have no heart left to give over to the Holy Ghost, and He cannot guide you in perfection unless He has the whole heart.

The Holy Ghost cannot direct you when you will not follow Him, so you must only listen to what the Spirit is saying. The Bible says seven times in the book of Revelation, He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith (Revelation 2:7,11,17,29; 3:6,13,22). The time to act is when the Spirit speaks. Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it (John 2:5).

No Discouragement in Christ

When you stay prayed up, you will not get discouraged because the Holy Spirit has control over you; and He will fight for you and keep you in step with Jesus. Jesus was never discouraged although there were many times when He could have been. He endured so much for the joy of knowing that people could have a brand-new life and go to Heaven. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2).

Because of Jesus, whosoever will can come to the Lord through the Old Rugged Cross. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely (Revelation 22:17).

Jesus could have been discouraged when the disciples fell asleep in the Garden of Gethsemane. And he [Jesus] cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak (Matthew 26:40,41). Jesus tried to get the disciples to stay awake with Him that last night, but they would not.

We are now in the final hour, and the Bride is having her last nights. Are you staying awake? I am available to the Lord 24 hours a day; He can wake me up at any time, and I always welcome Him.

Peter Fell Asleep

Discouragement was the disciples’ greatest hindrance, and it caused them to fail in times of trouble and need. If Peter had stayed awake in the Garden of Gethsemane that night, he never would have cut off the soldier’s ear. Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear…Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it (John 18:10,11)? The Lord had taught Peter not to use the sword but to use the Holy Spirit; however, he thought he would help Jesus in his own way.

What did Jesus do? He reached down and put the man’s ear back on, and you could not tell it had ever been cut off. And Jesus…touched his ear, and healed him (Luke 22:51). Peter should have been happy and declared, “He is the real Christ!” But instead, he was insulted; and when the Lord told Peter, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword (Matthew 26:52), he let the devil give him a big dose of discouragement. When the Lord rebukes you, it is because He loves you and cares for you. If He didn’t care, He would let you drop into hell right now.

God Used Peter

Earlier, Peter was the disciple the Lord had chosen to help Him bring about a great miracle. Peter was an experienced fisherman, and the Lord told him, Go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee (Matthew 17:27). Peter obeyed with all faith, and he did catch that fish. Then he used the money to pay their taxes.

At another time, the disciples were caught out on the sea in a terrible storm. When Jesus came walking on the stormy waters to the disciples’ boat, Peter said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus (Matthew 14:28,29). Peter was the only one who got off the boat that night, and he actually walked the waters; but when a big wave came toward him, he listened to what the devil said. Then fear took him over; and he cried out, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt (Matthew 14:30,31)?

How many times have you stepped off your little boat and started walking the waters only to let the enemy get your mind off Jesus, and then you started to go down? The Lord wants us to stop clinging to our little boats and walk the waters with Him. Those divine waters will hold you up if you have the right kind of faith and love, and you will not go under; you will go over. Jesus said, Let us go over unto the other side (Luke 8:22). You have to stay prayed up to be able to go over.

Yes, the Lord had used Peter in such amazing ways; but just because you have been used of God for a great miracle at one time, does not mean you can have any ego about it. The Lord told me that He cannot use some people any more than He does because they have ego.

Peter Failed

Shortly before Jesus’ last night in the Garden of Gethsemane, He had said to Peter, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice (Matthew 26:34). But Peter had answered, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee (Matthew 26:35).

When the soldiers came to arrest Jesus, Peter was finally awake; but he was not prayed up. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled. And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled. But Peter followed him afar off unto the high priest’s palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end (Matthew 26:56-58).

Notice that Peter followed afar off, and then he backslid. Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee. But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest. And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth. And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man. And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee. Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew (Matthew 26:69-74).

Peter denied Christ just like Jesus had said he would; and just then, the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And Peter went out, and wept bitterly (Luke 22:61,62). Think about how Peter must have felt when Christ’s loving eyes looked upon him right after he had denied Him.

Judas Lost His Soul

Judas was another one who let discouragement take him over, and money became his god. Then saith one of his [Jesus’] disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, which should betray him, Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein (John 12:4-6).

At one time, Judas had received power to cast out devils. And he [Jesus] ordained twelve [and that included Judas], that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils (Mark 3:14,15). Judas could not have done that if he had already given over to the devil because Jesus said that one devil cannot cast out another devil. Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand (Matthew 12:25,26)?

The Bible says that Judas by transgression fell (Acts 1:25). He backslid to the bottom, and then he killed himself. Then Judas, which had betrayed him [Jesus], when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself (Matthew 27:3-5). Judas has been in hell now for thousands of years, and that is so awful when he had at one time been headed for Heaven.

Thomas Did Not Believe

Like Judas, Thomas was chosen to be one of the twelve and was on front-line duty with the Lord; but then he let the devil give him a shot of discouragement. After Jesus had been resurrected, Thomas doubted and pouted for eight days and nights. Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe (John 20:24,25). Thomas was saying, “Don’t tell me Jesus is risen because I don’t believe it. I watched Him die from afar off, and then I saw the soldiers carry His body to the tomb and roll the big stone over the opening of the tomb. I know He is dead, the One I had put all of my hopes in and the One I had left my family and friends for; and now I have to face all of them.”

Thomas thought he was acting mighty big when he was really acting mighty small. He had let discouragement get into him so much that he would not even meet with God’s people, and a person like that will soon backslide and have no peace or joy. The Bible says, The joy of the LORD is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10); so when you have no joy, you will not make it.

Mary Magdalene Believed

The disciples had so many discouraging hours, so who stood with Jesus?—some of the women, and Mary Magdalene was one of them. She had been selling her body on the streets when she met Jesus, and He had cast seven devils out of her and forgiven her. After Jesus died, she was at the tomb at the break of day to anoint His body. The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre (John 20:1).

When Mary arrived, she noticed that the stone had been rolled away from in front of the sepulcher; and she began to cry because she thought someone had stolen Christ’s body. Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre, And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him (John 20:11-13).

Mary had such great compassion and love for Jesus when she thought someone had stolen His body. She did not remember that Jesus had said He was going to be resurrected on the third day, but she had divine courage; and she still believed in Him no matter what happened because she knew Jesus had given her a born-again experience and a brand-new life.

Then Mary saw a man she thought to be the gardener; and she said, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her (John 20:15-18).

Mary Magdalene was the first person to see Jesus after He had been resurrected, and she was the one who preached the first Gospel message of His resurrection.

The Holy Ghost Changes Everything

How has discouragement affected you and your family? I grew up in the Great Depression, and times were very hard; so I learned to face discouragement at an early age. We had very little money, and we could have found much to be discouraged about; but we had a lot of love, and my family took seriously the words of Paul when he said, I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content (Philippians 4:11).

My family found Pentecost when I was still very young, and it made a big difference in our lives. I knew the Holy Ghost was real; and as a child, it thrilled me to watch people receive Him just like the disciples had on the Day of Pentecost. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4).

Those disciples spoke in every known language of their day through the power of God, and they could not have done that within themselves. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?…we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God (Acts 2:6-8,11). That was amazing; and then Peter, who had repented before the Lord, was ready to tell the people that it was the power of God.

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh (Acts 2:14-17).

Peter continued to preach to them saying, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call (Acts 2:38,39).

The Holy Ghost is for everybody, but how many people today have the real Holy Ghost baptism? Pentecostal churches have ruined the real baptism by speaking in tongues at will and prophesying at will, and that is blasphemy. People gather together and sing in tongues, but that is not of God. I honor the Holy Ghost more than I honor the air I breathe, and I never get over the wonder of Him living on the inside of me and taking over my tongue to speak in many different languages and dialects.

There Is Victory in Jesus

Lazarus was just a beggar at the rich man’s gate, but he did not let discouragement take him over because he was serving the Lord. Lazarus was covered with sores and starving while the rich man had plenty, but the rich man would not even give Lazarus the crumbs that fell from his table. Later, both men died; and Lazarus went to Heaven, but the rich man went to hell.

There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments (Luke 16:19-23).

Are you going to let discouragement rob you? John the Beloved didn’t even though those who hated the Gospel tried to kill him by boiling him in oil, but he didn’t die. Like the Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace, John would not bow; and he could not be destroyed because God was not done with him. God wanted John to be sent to the Isle of Patmos all alone so He could give him the greatest revelation that has ever been given to people in the history of God—the book of Revelation. I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ (Revelation 1:9).

God Planned This Ministry

My wife, Angel, and I could have been discouraged when we built our cathedral. I didn’t have the money to do it, but God provided; and we built it block by block, brick by brick and window by window. We had so many volunteer workers who had a mind to work, and I worked all kinds of hours with them. I knew I was in the divine will of God and that God had sent us to bring the living Jesus and the power of God to people, and we did not fail.

God brought the people in, and they saw the miracles and healings; and people are still with this ministry today who were brought in through those miracles. When there is no hope for one of your loved ones and they are healed, that makes all the difference in the world. Jesus is the healing Christ.

I want all the days I have left on Earth to be good days for Jesus, but some of you want to plan your own day. The Lord may want you to volunteer to do something for Him, but you try to get out of it no matter how simple it is. I have never tried to get out of anything God has called on me to do in His work, and I have been preaching and teaching for over seventy years.

God’s Power Changed Paul

The great Apostle Paul was more like Jesus than anybody else, and the Lord used Paul to bring me to where I am in the Lord today; but at one time, Paul had been the chief of sinners. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief (I Timothy 1:15).

Paul had been a Pharisee, a hypocrite; and God hated the Pharisees. In Matthew’s Gospel, Jesus addressed them saying, Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites (Matthew 23:14)! Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell (Matthew 23:33)?

One day, Paul was on his way to Damascus to take Christians to prison and to have them put to death when Jesus knocked him down into the dust. And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul [who was later called Paul], why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks (Acts 9:3-5). Imagine what a shock it must have been to hear a voice say, “I am Jesus.”

Paul had held the cloaks of the men who stoned the young, godly Stephen, the first martyr. Stephen had preached a powerful sermon, but he had paid with his life to preach it. I am sure Paul could not get away from Stephen’s dying words. But he [Stephen], being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul (Acts 7:55-58).

After Paul had been born new, he said, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me (Galatians 2:20). We also must be able to say, “Christ lives in me.” That is the only way we can be holy and have no ego; and we must give the Lord all the honor, the praise and the glory for everything He does.

Rejoice in Trials

When God’s people don’t know how to handle discouragement, they will lose many battles; so they must learn to face discouragement. The Bible says, Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away (Isaiah 51:11). Our Redeemer brought everlasting joy to pour upon our heads so we could obtain the gladness and joy of Heaven, and that wonderful promise of God should give us great encouragement. Sorrow and mourning will flee as we count our blessings and think about how marvelous God is and about how He walks and talks with us. You must look at what the Lord is doing, not at what the devil is doing.

Rejoice when you are having temptations and trials because you will come through them just as the Lord has promised. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ (I Peter 1:6,7). The Lord lets us know that whatever He gives us has to be tested because we are getting ready for the coming of the Lord.

Many so-called Christians feel they need cocktails, wine and other such things to make them happy; but if they really had the satisfying Christ, they would not need anything to intoxicate them. When the Lord saved me, He made me a happy servant of God. If you think His joy has passed you by, it is actually you who has passed Him by when you refused to accept His joy. It is a disgrace to tell people you are on your way to Heaven and then let some down-and-out person look happier than you do. Get rid of discouragement, and don’t wait for someone else to encourage you; encourage yourself.

Oppression Comes from the Devil

Some of you get so discouraged that you cannot or will not believe God. You load yourself down with doubt and think discouragement has to be a way of life for you. You have no peace or joy; your head is throbbing; you can’t sleep, and you have become a nervous wreck all because of discouragement.

Discouragement is what keeps people sick and brings despair, oppression and depression. Devil possession is of the soul, but oppression is of the mind; and you don’t have to live like that. The devil will oppress you, but you have the healing Christ to deliver you. When Jesus was here, He healed all who were oppressed by the devil. God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Acts 10:38).

When Jesus walked out of the tomb, He conquered death, hell and the grave for you; and because of that, you can walk out from your deadness of life. Jesus brought life; but have you felt the need of that life, and have you accepted it and used it? It is time to shout God’s praises, to hold up the blood-stained Gospel banner and to march ever onward. There is no time to be discouraged or to let defeat take you over because there is no defeat in Jesus Christ!

God Will Lift You Up

It is time to unload all of your discouragement. Like oppression, discouragement comes straight from the devil; and he uses it to torment you and to rob you of the blessings of God. Jesus said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:7-10). Jesus also said, Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me (John 14:1). If you will believe in Jesus Christ, all discouragement will leave you; it is not something you have inherited from Heaven.

The Lord told people in Old Testament days to be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them [the enemy]: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee (Deuteronomy 31:6). God was saying, “Don’t be dismayed; I the Lord thy God am with thee, and I the Lord thy God will lift you up. I am your help, your high tower and your strength.” When you forget these things, you will discourage and hinder yourself; and you will doubt the love of God.

God cannot work with doubt; He can only work with faith, and that faith will cause the sun to shine. The Lord put a rainbow in the sky in Noah’s day, so there is no need to get discouraged. When troubles come, you must trust God and keep on praising Him because praise multiplies.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me (Psalm 138:7). When you walk in the midst of trouble, it is easy to get weak; but as long as you believe God’s right hand of love and grace is moving for you, you will be all right. He lifted His right hand as high as He could for us when He gave Jesus. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). “Whosoever” includes you.

Be Anxious for Nothing

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (Philippians 4:6). We are not to be anxious about anything, but some of you are anxious about everything. You must decide to be happy about what the Lord is doing; but instead, some of you wake up in the morning expecting the day to turn out bad.

Don’t be anxious or beg God for things; just trust Him. He said, Ask, and ye shall receive (John 16:24). All you have to do is ask according to the will of God, and then you can go on your way praising Him. Never be disappointed if the answer you want doesn’t come because that means it wasn’t the will of God. However, the spirit of some people is, “Lord, I want your will, but make sure it is what I want, too.” The Lord knows whether you really want His will or not because He knows what is on the inside of you. When God disappoints us, He does it for our own good just as earthly parents have to disappoint their children many times for their own good.

Why are you anxious or depressed when you may be in Heaven tomorrow? Wouldn’t it be a disgrace to have your last day on Earth be a day of discouragement? If you have received old-time salvation, you are about to step into Glory; but some of you let the enemy discourage you so much that you wonder at times if you really are saved and if the Lord really does love you. Jesus is the greatest person to ever love you, and doubting His love is enough to discourage any heart. You must know that you are special to God and that you are His very own.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Some of you are tormented and have no peace of mind because you will not let the Holy Spirit deliver you from discouragement. He serves only encouraging words with His encouraging spirit of love, grace and determination; and He will encourage you with the promises of God.

The Holy Spirit will let you know God’s divine will; and if you really want His will, you will never be discouraged about what God is doing. He knows the best way to help you and to bless you so He can use you to bless others. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). All things will work together for your good if you really love the Lord and are walking in His will; but if you are not living in His will, you have tied His hands.

God’s Thoughts Bring Results

The Bible tells us exactly what things to think on: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8). Don’t allow days to pass without checking to see if you are thinking right because you have to think right before you can believe right, and wrong believing brings wrong results.

If you are saved today, don’t let discouragement defeat you. It may come to you momentarily; but cast it aside and decide, “Lord, I asked for your will, so this must be your will; and I will not be discouraged about it because I know I have all the help I need.”

I don’t care what condition you are in today; the Lord can make the difference. Let this message bring you out of your valley of discouragement because as long as you linger in that valley, the Lord will have a hard time getting to you, Child. It is easy to give up and think that God will never move for you, but don’t ever do that. The Lord is always the saving, healing Christ, and He is ready to help and deliver you. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

If you have a discouraging spirit today, yield to the Lord; and He will take it out of you. Behold Jesus, the perfect One who promised to never leave us or forsake us. For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee (Hebrews 13:5). He also promised to return for us and take us to Heaven. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also (John 14:2,3).

You Can Be Free

Sinner or Backslider, God is ready to help you. It does not matter how wretched your life has been or how deep in sin you are; you can be delivered from all devils. When Jesus came, He delivered the devil possessed; and He has given me that same power to set the captives free.

If you are unsaved, pray the sinners’ prayer right now: Oh, God, save my soul. I am so sorry that I have sinned against you, but I have come home; and I am going to serve you, Lord, for the rest of my life. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins; and I believe, Lord, that you will deliver me from tobacco, alcohol and drugs so I can be free! Come on in, Jesus! Come on in!

If you meant that prayer, you are clean through the blood of Jesus. He has washed away all your sins and delivered you from all demonic spirits and powers of the devil.

God Will Move

Now, you can receive a miracle just as untold multitudes have already received through this Jesus ministry. Always remember that nobody has ever loved you like Jesus loves you, and nobody has ever cared for you like He cares; so if you have asked God many times to heal you, don’t be discouraged. When I was 23, I went to the edge of the grave. I knew that I was going to die, and it looked like it was too late for Jesus to heal me. I was getting worse all the time; but just when it looked like all hope was gone, Jesus came to me Himself and healed me all over. Then He actually talked with me and said, “Later, you will go on a long fast; and when you come out of that fast, you will have my power for the healing of the people.” I knew I was going to live and take Jesus and His healing ministry to the whole world! I didn’t care if I slept at all the rest of that night; I just wanted to shout to everybody that I was going to live!

I had to go through that experience so the Lord could teach me that we cannot look at what is happening; we must look at the promises of God. I hold on to God’s promise of healing for people unless God tells me it is His divine will to take a person home.

People from all over the world travel to Grace Cathedral to receive a miracle, and many of them can stay for just one Friday night miracle service. Some of them have to save for years to get the money for their journey, and they come expecting to receive. If the preachers of the world were really called to preach and would live the Jesus life, their people would not have to travel and sacrifice to get to Grace Cathedral. Those preachers would be able to serve their people with the healing ministry.

When Jesus was here, He healed the sick and gave sight to the blind; and He is still in that business today. And Jesus…came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there. And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them (Matthew 15:29,30). Christians who don’t believe in miracles don’t believe in God because all of His works are miraculous. He is the miracle-working God.

Receive Today

I am not your healer; the Lord is your healer, but the Lord has endowed me with His gifts, and the Holy Spirit uses those gifts of divine blood through me so His gifts can be manifested to the people. The blood of Jesus cures all diseases and afflictions. And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people (Matthew 4:23).

Notice that Jesus healed all manner of sicknesses and diseases but not all manner of people. You may be dying with AIDS, but the Lord will heal you if you will promise to live for Him. The Lord healed a sinner who had not walked in 38 years; and when He did, He told him to go and sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee (John 5:14). Let the Lord know you will serve Him and glorify His name. Through the divine blood, He heals people of AIDS just as if it was a slight headache. Just say, “Lord, you promised to heal me, so I know I will come out of this.” At times, it may be a little longer than you think; but never give up.

Are you ready to receive? Lord, I come to you with what the people need. Heal those with AIDS, HIV, cancer, TB, arthritis, paralysis, leprosy or any other kind of deadly disease. Heal! in the all-powerful, precious blood name of Jesus!

Now, get well because in the divine blood name of Jesus, there is health; and the Bible tells us that whosoever will can come and receive, so write and tell me what happened to you. Then you must hold on tight to the promises of God because your future is as bright as His promises. Life can be wonderful when you walk and talk with Jesus each day! I’ll see you in the Rapture. Hallelujah to King Jesus! He is coming soon!
