Divinity makes contact with humanity through the mind, so divinity needs your mind to be able to bring you into the reality of the Lord. If your mind is not right, divinity can’t reason with it. The Bible tells us, Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD (Isaiah 1:18). It is a very special privilege that the great God of the universe desires to fellowship with us.

Jesus came to Earth not only to die for our sins and give us eternal life; He came to be our example and to show us how to live. John tells us that Jesus had a direct line to Heaven; and He prayed, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always (John 11:41,42). Jesus spent many nights away from His disciples communing with His heavenly Father.

Jesus had living reality in God and in the Holy Spirit; and that reality bore fruit in His ministry in the form of signs, wonders, miracles, healings and souls being saved. You can have that reality too, but there is a price to pay. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it (Matthew 16:24,25).

If you want living reality in divinity, you must crucify self. You must lose your life, your goals and your dreams so His will can be carried out in your life. The Apostle Paul said, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me (Galatians 2:20).

Be Filled with the Spirit

When you as a child of God begin following in the footsteps of Jesus, those steps will lead you to the Upper Room to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. Jesus was filled with the Holy Ghost when He walked on Earth as man, and His followers were filled on the Day of Pentecost. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4).

Christ’s disciples came into the living reality of divinity through the person and power of the Holy Ghost. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).

Just before Jesus sacrificed His life at Calvary, He gave His disciples some of the most important and powerful teachings of all. He stressed the necessity of receiving the Holy Ghost baptism and of having the reality of the person of the Holy Ghost. He explained the many things the Holy Ghost serves to those He dwells within.

Jesus told the disciples, But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:26). The person of the Holy Ghost provides divine comfort in time of sorrow, persecution and tribulation. He will teach you all about Jesus and bring to remembrance all He said so you can move into more and more living reality of Him.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13). The Spirit even has the power and authority to reveal to you certain things about the future.

Divinity Must Be Real to You

All the duties the Holy Spirit performs require you to have living reality in the person of the Holy Spirit because you can’t come under subjection to anyone without having reality in that person and in their authority. To have that reality, you must take on the mind of Christ. If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:1,2,5). You can’t follow in Jesus’ footsteps and be like Him without taking on the mind of Christ.

For years, children of God have lacked in their relationship with divinity. Many have been born again and even been baptized in the Holy Spirit, but they have failed to take on the mind of Christ in its fullness; therefore, they lack the power and ability to use the divine blood, and they don’t have the will to be living sacrifices unto God. Because of that, the Church of Jesus Christ as a whole has not yet brought in the end-time harvest of souls God intended her to.

There is a price to pay to have living reality in the Lord. You must diligently pursue God and all He offers with your whole heart. Paul said, But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6). Peter said, Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin (I Peter 4:1).

Take On the Mind of Christ

The Bible tells us that children of God can add powerful, divine ingredients to their minds that will enable them to take on the mind of Christ. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity (II Peter 1:5-7).

With those ingredients, you can have the divine nature of Jesus. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (II Peter 1:4). When you have that divine nature, you will have power over Satan’s kingdom and victory over all the lusts of the world; but so many Christians struggle to serve God and do His will. They resist paying the price to follow in Jesus’ footsteps, so they do not have the mind of Christ in its fullness or His divine nature.

The mind of Christ is a direct link between you and divinity; and with it, God can use you to do His perfect will. The mind of Christ enables the Holy Spirit to be all Jesus ordained Him to be in your life, and that is the reason Jesus and the Early Church disciples were victorious over Satan and his kingdom. They were able to tear down his strongholds and set his captives free.

Divine Power Overcomes

Jesus said to the disciples, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:18,19). Paul wrote, For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds (II Corinthians 10:4). The mind of Christ enabled the Early Church disciples to endure great persecution and willingly lay down their lives for the sake of the Gospel. Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren (I John 3:16). Those disciples had divine, living reality flowing to them through the mind of Christ.

Satan knows what is available to children of God through the mind of Christ, so he works nonstop to prevent as many people as he can from taking on that mind and using it. However, when a person is completely yielded to the Lord and willing to be used as an instrument of God, it renders the devil helpless. That is why the Bride of Christ will be a terror to Satan’s kingdom in this final hour. Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners (Song of Solomon 6:10)?

Beware of Satan’s Tactics

Satan seeks to hinder you in using all the benefits and power divinity has made available through the blood and the Holy Spirit. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world (I Peter 5:8,9). Satan and his demons will use anything they can to distract you and take your mind off God.

One way Satan tries to disconnect you from divinity is by working through your imagination. He causes you to imagine bad things that may happen to you today or in the future, and he gives you thoughts about what people may be saying or doing against you. He even makes you wonder whether or not God really loves you.

Wrong imaginations breed doubt, worry and fear in your mind; and those things will produce stress, depression, oppression, discouragement and discontentment. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7). Divinity can only use a sound mind—the mind of Christ.

Paul instructed, Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (II Corinthians 10:5). Satan’s thoughts contradict the knowledge of God, so you have to feed your mind the Word of God every day.

Watch What You Feed Your Mind

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee (Isaiah 26:3). A mind that is stayed on the Word is one that is stayed on the Lord. Jesus said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). Paul wrote, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (II Timothy 2:15).

There is power in the Word to clear your mind so you can focus on divinity. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8).

Your human mind is very limited. Think of it as a cup and know it can only hold a certain amount at a time. Those you allow to serve your mind cup are the ones who will have the greatest influence on your life. You can’t allow the devil to fill your mind with his battles, doubts, fears, worries and temptations because the longer you let those thoughts occupy your mind, the more influence they will have over you; and the weaker in the Lord you will become.

If you continually feed your mind television programs, movies and various kinds of enter-tainments, and you are always socializing with people in person or through talking and texting, your mind will be full of the wrong things. Then over time, you will become spiritually weak.

Those things may not be sinful, but they will not give you more living reality in divinity or make you stronger in the Lord either. When you continually indulge in such things, they will become a distraction and hinder your relationship with the person of the Holy Spirit. Your mind will be separated from divinity, and you will have less time to spend with the Lord.

Keep Your Mind on God

The Bible instructs us to pray without ceasing (I Thessalonians 5:17). Now, that doesn’t mean you must always be praying and never stop. When you examine what prayer is, it is simply talking to God while God gives His thoughts to you.

When you are talking to someone, that person has to have your mind’s attention; so praying without ceasing means your mind is connected with divinity at all times. Then you can dart a prayer at any time of the day or night, and Heaven will hear. God can give you His thoughts, and you will receive them.

Paul said, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16). You have control over your mind; so don’t allow the devil, self and people to continually feed it things that are weak and unedifying to your spiritual growth. Instead, go to God’s Word and let the Holy Spirit fill your mind with the promises and thoughts of God. They will bless and strengthen your inner man and lead you into more living reality in divinity.

Jesus said, It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63). The more you keep your mind on the Word and connected with divinity, the more liberty and freedom the Holy Spirit will have to work for you and through you. When you hide the Word in your heart, He will use it to feed your soul, mind and spirit and produce wonderful fruit in your life the way He pro-duced it in the lives of Jesus and the Early Church disciples. That spiritual fruit will bless you, the Kingdom and those around you.

The Parable of the Sower

Let’s examine the parable of the Sower in Matthew 13. Keep in mind that the Sower represents the person of the Holy Spirit; the seed represents the Word of God, and the field represents the mind of a Christian in a variety of spiritual conditions.

As the Sower in the parable went forth to sow, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up (Matthew 13:4). Therefore, there was no harvest.

Other seed fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away (Matthew 13:5,6). Still other seed fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them (Matthew 13:7).

Finally, some of the seed did fall on good ground and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold (Matthew 13:8). What kind of soil is in your mind? Is it the kind that gives the Holy Spirit the liberty to use the power of God’s Word through your life? Is the Spirit free to work to bring you into more living reality and to produce an abundance of fruit for the Kingdom of God?

In that parable of the Sower, the Word seed that was cast by the wayside represents a mind so full of battles, fears, doubts, oppression and unbelief that the Word finds no place to lodge. Then mental spirits can immediately carry it away before any harvest is produced.

The Holy Spirit, the Sower, seeks to open your understanding and guide you deeper into the truth of the Word. He will then use that power of truth through you so you can bear more fruit for the Kingdom, but He can’t do that unless the soil of your mind is in a condition where the seed of the Word can find lodging.

How many times has your mind been over-flowing with weak, worthless thoughts that leave the Holy Spirit with nothing to work with? Then when you sit down with the Word in your prayer closet, it finds no lodging; so the enemy steals it away, and it produces no results for you or the Kingdom.

Stony Minds Lack Depth

The Word seed that fell on stony ground represents the Word working in minds with no spiritual depth. People with such a mind can be saved and even baptized with the Holy Ghost, but their mind has very little spiritual soil that the Holy Spirit can work with.

People with stony minds are spiritually shallow and immature. They don’t hunger and thirst for the things of God, and they aren’t willing to make sacrifices to attain them. Jesus said, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6).

People with stony minds are not sober or quiet. They’re always restless and moving from one thing that is unrelated to divinity to another, and their thoughts are not very deep. When the Word seed is sown, they gladly accept it at first; but because of the condition of their mind soil, the Word can’t sink very deep. Such people have never developed a good, spiritual root system; so although they may appear to be stable and strong in the Lord on the surface, they are really spiritually weak and shallow.

When testing time arrives and the sun of trials, tribulations and persecutions rises high in the sky, the truth about those with stony minds is revealed. The heat of the sun becomes so intense that these Christians become offended at God’s truth, God’s people or maybe even God Himself. The fact that they are weak and corrupted begins to manifest, and they will eventually turn away from God; and their fruit will be destroyed.

Thorny Minds Are Preoccupied

The seed of the Word that falls in thorny soil represents minds that have allowed selfishness and ego to take root within. The cares of life or the desires of wealth preoccupy their thoughts and consume their daily life. Thorns in the soil of your mind can represent anything in this life that distracts you and causes you to neglect the person of the Holy Ghost and the time you spend with God’s Word.

When thorns take hold in your mind, they choke out the power of God’s Word and the living reality of the Holy Spirit. The Bible says, Quench not the Spirit (I Thessalonians 5:19). Thorny minds allow their time, attention and energy to be continuously divided with selfish desires and the cares of life; and the result of a thorny mind is a life without living reality that bears little or no fruit at all for the Kingdom.

Thorns can appear innocent; but if you let them take root in your mind, they will spring up and take hold of your mind and your life. Then earthly things and people will take on an inappropriate priority in your daily life, and you will neglect and quench the Holy Spirit within. He won’t be able to perform His duties in your life, and the power of God’s Word will be choked out.

Be Sober and Still

The seed that fell on good ground represents the Word that finds lodging in the mind of a person who has taken on the mind of Christ. It is a mind with deep, rich soil and one that is free of stones and thorns. The Holy Spirit can work with that kind of a mind and bear an abundance of fruit for God’s Kingdom.

A mind with good soil is a sober mind. Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ (I Peter 1:13).

A sober mind is quiet and still, and the Holy Spirit can work with it. Paul said, Study to be quiet, and to do your own business (I Thessalonians 4:11). You must train and discipline your mind to get quiet and still in this restless age, and you have to mind your own business instead of the business of others. The Bible says, Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10).

A mind the Holy Spirit can work with is a mind that thinks deep. O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep (Psalm 92:5). You must empty your mind of weak, human reasoning and replace that reasoning with the thoughts of God. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:9).

God Hates Ego

A mind the Holy Spirit can work with is a mind emptied of ego and full of divine humility. And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 18:2-4).

Ego is of the devil, and God wants no part of it. Only God knows how many times His plan has been hindered or completely ruined in a person’s life because as He began to use them and their talents, they became lifted up in their own eyes; and God was forced to back away. The thorns of ego filled the person’s mind and quenched the Spirit, the power and the life of God.

There’s a price to pay to be used of God and bear fruit for His Kingdom. The Bible speaks of Jesus saying, Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross (Philippians 2:6-8).

God Requires Humility

To go through the door of divine humility and be used of God, you must get down on your knees with your face to the ground. You can only go as high in the Lord as you are willing to go low in divine humility. But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted (Matthew 23:11,12).

Jesus taught His followers many lessons in divine humility, and one of those lessons can be found in Luke 10. In that chapter, it tells that Jesus sent out seventy of His disciples by twos to spread the Gospel. He gave them power and authority over devils, sicknesses and diseases. After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest (Luke 10:1,2).

As they fulfilled their divine mission and returned to Jesus, they declared, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name (Luke 10:17). But Jesus plainly told them, Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20).

The Lord doesn’t want you to rejoice and be lifted up by the power He gives you to help build God’s Kingdom. He wants you to rejoice in all humility before the Father and thank Him for making you a part of His Kingdom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up (James 4:10).

Humble Yourself Before the Lord

If you are a sinner or a backslider today, you have no part in God’s Kingdom; but there is power in the divine blood of Jesus to set you free. That is why He came and died for you and me. The Bible says, He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (I John 3:8).

If you want the works of the devil to be destroyed in your life, pray this prayer with me right now and say, Oh, God, I confess all of my sins before you. I am so sorry, Lord, that I have failed you; but I have come home to serve you for the rest of my life. And I believe there is power in the blood of Jesus to wash away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus. Come in. If you meant that prayer, Jesus is yours.

You must now go from Calvary to the Upper Room to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. When Jesus was assembled with the disciples, He commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence (Acts 1:4,5). Get off to yourself and praise the Lord over and over again until the Holy Ghost comes in.

You Can Be Healed

Now, Friend, you can have any miracle or healing you need. The Bible says that Christ’s divine blood was spilled not only for the salvation of your soul but also for the healing of your body. Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed (I Peter 2:24).

Lord, in the name of Jesus, I bring those who are sick and afflicted before you now. God, lay a healing hand upon each one. Deliver them and set them free for your honor and glory. In the holy, blood name of Jesus, heal them right now. Let your divine virtue flow, Lord, and make them well for your honor and glory. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Friend, watch every improvement and give God all the praise and the glory for what He is doing for you. One great way to give God the praise is to write, email or post a message to social media to let us know what God has done for you. God bless you today.
