Grace is one of the most powerful words in the Holy Scriptures. It is the generous, free and undeserved divine favor of God. It is virtue and assistance that come from Heaven, a favor given that we did not work for or earn; but through faith, we can receive it. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8,9).

Before grace, God gave man the Law to instruct him what to do; but there was a dilemma—man could not meet the demands of the Law because of the weaknesses of his flesh. The people offered animal sacrifices to God; but without the shedding of blood, there was no remission for sin. And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission (Hebrews 9:22).

Animal blood was not sufficient to wash away sin, and the Law could not make people free; so they remained dead in trespasses and sin. That is why Jesus came. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh (Romans 8:3).

Because Jesus came, Paul could say, Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 5:20,21). When man was helpless and dead in sin, God’s grace did abound for him. The Law could not do it, and it took more than just love to bring it about—it took grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ (John 1:17). Jesus brought all the divinity we will ever need.

Jesus Brought Grace

Through Jesus Christ, grace intervened for man; and He brought eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Jesus was the Word made flesh. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth…And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace (John 1:14,16).

Jesus came saying, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). There is no other way to be saved but through Jesus. Everyone has to go through the door of grace.

Even when we were spiritually dead in sins, God’s love was calling to us. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) (Ephesians 2:4,5).

Man could not help himself, so grace had to step in and take over. Man and woman did nothing to earn that grace; but through faith in Christ, they can receive it. Therefore it [salvation] is of faith, that it might be by grace (Romans 4:16).

Therefore being justified by faith [not by works], we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1). Faith takes us down the wonderful love road of grace. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).

The Bible says we must always seek more faith. That ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3). Divine faith takes us right into the Lord on His throne of grace. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God (Romans 5:2).

God’s grace doesn’t stop with salvation. The riches of His grace began at Calvary, and they will continue for all eternity. Grace includes all the favors of God—divine love, divine faith, divine courage, divine strength and so much more. Grace will never lose its power for all eternity.

Man Rejected Grace

God created man and woman in grace; and they were never to have walked, thought or lived any other way but in grace. They were never to have been sick, felt pain, shed a tear or died. They were always to have been in step with God, and He had planned to be able to come down at any time to walk with Adam and Eve and their offspring.

Grace kept Adam and Eve living in perfection…until they sinned. God had let them know that if they ever left grace, hell would be their destiny; and that is what happened. God is telling people the same thing today.

It is awful all that Adam and Eve brought upon themselves and the entire human race when they gave over to the devil. We don’t know how long Adam lived alone before the Lord gave him a perfect bride…but she did not remain that way. Eve is the one who plucked the fruit from the tree of evil and ate it. Then she said to Adam, “Look at me. I ate the fruit from the tree God told us not to, and I didn’t die. In fact, I feel good.” Adam listened to that deceit from Eve, and how terrible that was!

You cannot let anybody influence you to do wrong no matter who they are. If someone you love goes to the tree of death, you must stay away from it. The tree of life is the only tree you must go to.

After Adam and Eve failed, the people of the world sinned more and more until God was sorry that He had ever made man. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them (Genesis 6:5-7).

But in the midst of all the sin and wickedness, Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD (Genesis 6:8). That grace lasted for 120 years while Noah’s family built the ark. God waited all that time to save only eight people. That is how much grace will cover those who want to be covered and want to be like Jesus. You have to want Him and His ways and deny self. Jesus said, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me (Mark 8:34).

Only through grace could God have patiently waited 120 years on Noah’s family, and only through grace has He now waited nearly 2000 years for the Gentile Bride to be ready to go with Jesus…but that time is almost up. The door to this Gentile dispensation is about to close; and when it does, everybody who is on the wrong side of that door will be in the horrible seven years of Tribulation.

Abraham Had Great Faith

Abraham found grace in the eyes of God, and unbelievable faith came with that grace. God had promised Abraham a son, but it took 25 years for that promise to be fulfilled. Then when Isaac was about 12 years of age, the Lord told Abraham to take him to Mount Moriah and offer him as a burnt offering before God. Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering (Genesis 22:2).

The Lord promised Abraham that a nation would come through his seed, and the Bible says he had the faith to believe it. By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac; and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure (Hebrews 11:17-19). Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness (Romans 4:3).

Abraham set out for Mount Moriah, taking Isaac with him. When they arrived, Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering (Genesis 22:7,8). Isaac was a type of Christ, the One who would later be made a human sacrifice for you and me. Isaac also carried the wood for the sacrifice just like Jesus would carry the Cross.

Abraham actually laid his son on the altar. Then Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son (Genesis 22:10-13). The angel cried out to Abraham to stop when he drew back the knife, but the Bible tells us that Abraham did sacrifice Isaac in spirit.

Grace Changed Paul

You can only have the favor of God when you walk in His grace. Paul is a great example of one who walked in grace, but he had not always walked that way. At one time, he had been the chief of sinners. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I [Paul] am chief (I Timothy 1:15).

Paul was degraded, heartless and greatly feared by Christians because he was having them arrested and put to death. One day when he was on his way to Damascus to arrest more Christians, God knocked him down to the ground. That is when he heard the voice of Jesus for the first time. And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks (Acts 9:5).

After that visitation, the Lord took Paul’s sight so He could teach him a lesson in grace. And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus (Acts 9:8).

Ananias did not know that Paul had given his heart to the Lord; so when the Lord told Ananias to go to Damascus and pray for Paul, Ananias said, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake (Acts 9:13-16). So Ananias obeyed God, and Paul received his sight and was filled with the Holy Ghost.

Nobody ever suffered as much as Paul did for the sake of the Gospel except Jesus; and when Paul prayed to the Lord in the midst of all his trials, the Lord told him, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness (II Corinthians 12:9). That grace kept Paul walking with the Lord through all his persecutions and hardships, and God’s grace is sufficient for you in all your trials, too. Accept that grace, and God’s works will not be overwhelming to you.

The more trials you have, the more God’s grace will work for you. Grace creates a wall of love around you that the devil can’t get through. He will try to get you to step out from behind it, but don’t ever listen to him.

Paul Walked in Grace

Paul learned so much about God’s grace that he could say, Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities [trials, temptations and persecutions], that the power of Christ may rest upon me (II Corinthians 12:9). As long as you walk in grace, God’s power will stay with you.

Paul said, But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me (I Corinthians 15:10). Paul used grace in a way that the other disciples did not. He never saw Jesus in the flesh; but he saw Him so much through the eye of grace that he could rise up above all of his trials and discouragement saying, All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). Paul was able to suffer so many things for the Lord because he did it through God’s abundant grace.

Do you know what God wants you to do in this final hour? If so, are you going to do it or just talk about it? Are you ready to work to help souls find God no matter what it takes? Paul had to give his life on Nero’s chop block; but before he did, he said to Timothy, I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing (II Timothy 4:6-8).

Paul was a winner, and you can be, too. Grace will step in and help you win each battle if you will allow it to. It will give you power and wisdom and declare you are a winner because you have everything you need through Jesus.

Study the Word

In this last hour, you will either live in grace or disgrace; there is no in-between. You are holy or unholy, righteous or unrighteous. You either have the favor of God or you don’t. You are on your way to Heaven or on your way to hell.

How can you know where you stand with God?—by studying the Word. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (II Timothy 2:15). The scriptures leap to life through grace, but many people don’t study the Word like they should; so they can’t divide it properly.

I ponder the deepness of God in the scriptures. The Bible is like a deep well that took 1500 years to dig; and it’s pure, pure, pure. Every word in it is true, and God’s power is in every word. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4).

From the time I was a child, God gave me great love for His Word. My parents taught me the Word, and I have always treasured it. I never remember doubting any part of the Word of God, even when I was a sinner. My parents loved the truth in the Word. They didn’t live by what people said; they lived by the Word. I wish every child could be brought up like that.

The Bible is truth, and you can stay in truth if you want to; but you have to get rid of all ego and realize that you are nothing within yourself. I preach the truth, and it sets people free; and you must speak the truth, too. You cannot run off at the mouth or speak idle talk because you have to give an account before God of every word that comes out of your mouth. Jesus said, But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment (Matthew 12:36).

Examine Yourself

You have to put all your trust in God and keep grace ever before you. Then you can never stray from it. Keep your tongue and your speech covered with grace, and you will talk like Jesus. Walk in grace; and you will walk like Jesus, work like Jesus and hear and see like a son or daughter of God.

Where art thou today? Do you live the grace life? Are you walking on God’s grace highway? Ask the Lord to search you, and ask the Holy Spirit to let you know if you are walking with both of your hands in the hands of the Lord. Are you really pleasing God and doing His will?

Jesus did the will of the Father no matter how much He had to suffer, but how do you act in your Garden of Gethsemane? Are your prayers being answered? Can you really say as Jesus did, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always (John 11:41, 42).

The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit makes intercession in Heaven for us. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26). Then Jesus makes intercession to the Father for us. It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us (Romans 8:34). You should have no question about whether or not your prayers get through to God.

Grace people are fair like Jesus Christ. They are in love with Heaven and with the Godhead, and they are obedient to the truth. Grace people do not carry ego; they carry wonder-working power, and they are ready to work for the Lord. They are not thinking about accumulating riches and material things, and they are not grumbling and complaining. Grace keeps you hand-in-hand with Jesus every day and night so you won’t ever run ahead of Him or lag behind Him.

Grace brings the fire of the Holy Ghost to burn upon your soul and in your mind; and when that pillar of fire shines brightly, it gives light to you and to a lost world. There is nothing like the fire of the Holy Ghost that burns in the hearts and minds of sinners. Hellfire becomes so real when people will see through the eyes of grace.

Don’t Fall from Grace

The Bible gives us examples of people who did not stay in grace. Jonah did not go to Nineveh like God had instructed him to, and he found himself in the belly of a whale for three days. For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth (Matthew 12:40).

King Saul failed to stay in grace, and he eventually committed suicide. Then said Saul to his armour-bearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armour-bearer would not; for he was sore afraid. So Saul took a sword, and fell upon it (I Chronicles 10:4).

David didn’t stay in grace all the time either. He slept with another man’s wife; and when he found out she was pregnant, he had her husband killed to try to cover up his sin. Thank the Lord, David later repented of his sin and got back into God’s grace.

David learned what divine grace was all about. I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication (Psalm 30:8). If you don’t learn grace, you will never know about Jesus or get to Heaven; and you will never get your prayers answered.

When Jesus came and brought grace, He put up the blood line to Heaven, showing it is the will of the Lord for us to know that every prayer we sincerely pray in God’s will goes straight to His throne. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). The devil cannot stop our prayers, and we can find grace before the throne of God from right here on Earth. When we have a need, grace will step in and take over. There is no case too hard for God’s grace.

Use Grace through the Holy Ghost

Do you appreciate God’s grace? Are you always aware that you would be eternally lost without it? The Bible says, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour (Titus 3:5,6). The Holy Ghost plays a great part in a person’s salvation. Then He will continue to help you and bless you as long as you shun all evil and discord.

The fruits of the Spirit come through grace, and they can be yours. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance (Galatians 5:22,23). You can only have those fruits produced within you when you have the Holy Ghost. Then you must caress them, dine on them, think about them and sing about them.

The reason the disciples failed Jesus on His last night in the Garden of Gethsemane was because they didn’t have the Holy Ghost, so grace could not use them in any great way. Jesus had taught them so much and had prayed for their sanctification. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth (John 17:17-19).

Jesus wanted His disciples to have perfect favor with God; but that didn’t happen until after Jesus had been crucified, resurrected and had gone back to Heaven. Then He took the blood and poured it on the altar of God so that the whole world could be saved if they chose to be.

Afterward, Jesus came back to Earth for 40 days to teach the disciples about the Holy Ghost, and He told them not to start the Church until they had that power. To whom also he [Jesus] shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence (Acts 1:3-5).

After they were baptized, they became anointed like Jesus. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Acts 10:38).

It is important that you realize the anointing of God’s grace as well as the power, love, peace and guidance in His grace. Then you must know that the Holy Ghost will share all that He possibly can with you through the grace of Jesus Christ.

Get Rid of the Devil

When you have the favor of God, you have all you need to make the devil run from you. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). I delight in making the devil’s demons go. They will come to me, especially in the form of human beings; and I say, “I know who you are, and you have no right with this property. This is the property of Jehovah God, and you have to go.” Then I watch them disappear, and I am ready to shout “Hallelujah!”

Don’t fear the devil. Just realize that you have power over him. Jesus said that you can trample the devil underfoot. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).

Some of you will think, “I don’t know why I am so burdened.” If you would open your eyes and see through the eyes of grace, you would see one or more devils there. Then get rid of them. You have the power to do it when you have the Holy Ghost. Jesus said, Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8). Then you will not only have power but also become a witness to the truth, a witness for God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.

Through the power of the Holy Ghost, you have authority over the devil just as the police have authority over humans. If a policeman is standing in the middle of the road directing traffic, people are supposed to obey him because he has authority at that time. In the same way, you can have authority over the devil and not let him wrestle you around and confuse your mind. The Bible tells us that God is not the author of confusion, but of peace (I Corinthians 14:33).

Grace Is Sufficient

If you are truly grateful for God’s grace, you will be able to say as Paul did, And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work (II Corinthians 9:8). Paul knew God’s grace was sufficient for him; but if you are content with yourself, your own righteousness and your own works, then you don’t believe God’s grace is sufficient for you because you don’t recognize that you are nothing without Him. Jesus said, I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing (John 15:5).

II Corinthians 9:8 says that you are to abound in every good work you do for the Lord, and the grace of God will see that you do. Grace steps right in to lead you and direct you and add more and more of the greatness of Heaven to each one who will dare to accept grace and know it is sufficient for them.

When anything unlike God surrounds you and seeks to put up a stronghold in your heart and mind, that is when the grace of God will much more abound. Believe through grace and have faith in that grace—that is the only way to be perfect in using faith in the things of God.

If you live by the letter of the Law, you don’t understand grace like you should. Your heart has never really been established or made secure with grace, and that is why you are so weak. Those whose hearts have been established with grace have the power and strength to overcome all the works of the devil.

That in the ages to come he [God] might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:7). For years and years to come, God will show us the exceeding riches of His grace and His kindness through Christ Jesus. We will live forever through grace.

You must be able to relax and trust God. If you can’t do that, you are not yielding to grace; you are just giving it mental assent. Most Christians today give the things of God only mental assent—they agree in their minds but not in their hearts. For as he [a man] thinketh in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7). Then when hardships and persecutions come, instead of knowing God’s grace is sufficient for them, they will look to their own strength and come up short.

When you use only mental assent, you will want to give up; and most spiritually dead churches are full of people who are like that. The devil’s mental assent causes confusion, and you can’t afford to listen to people who are against God and saying the wrong things; they will rob you of the grace of God and cause you to detour into discouragement and gossip.

When your heart is established with grace, you are secure and confident in knowing that God’s grace will go into operation when your strength fails; so never let any person, devil or thing contaminate grace in your life.

Share God’s Grace

Are you a soul winner? Do you pray for souls night and day? Do you have the same compassion for souls that Jesus had when He went to Calvary to die for you and me? You cannot be a soul winner if you don’t accept grace. You will not qualify, saith the Lord.

You can’t use grace just to bless yourself; you have to use it to bless others. Use it on every sinner you can to bring them into the knowledge of the truth and into the grace in perfection that will deliver them from all sin.

Grace is freely given, and God wants us to freely give it to others. Freely ye have received, freely give (Matthew 10:8). Are you so wrapped up in yourself that you can’t give to others? Do you look only on your own things and not on the things of others? Do you show mercy and compassion toward those who are struggling; or do you say, “They should know better,” and go on your way? If you aren’t willing to show grace to others, you will not have a clear conscience that will enable you to accept divine grace in your time of need.

You have to give everything for souls; and, like Paul, never spare the truth. He told the Ephesians, Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock (Acts 20:26-29). There are plenty of deceivers in the world today, and you must never listen to them.

You have to accept grace as God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost give it. You have to use grace and realize that it is more precious than all the gold and silver on Earth. When I was saved, I separated from everything and became brand new. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Corinthians 5:17).

I wanted to live in God’s grace all the time because I found such peace in it, and it was wonderful. I took on the mind of Christ, and I had divine love and compassion for the lost. I had no trouble leaving the world behind. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5).

You can have the mind of Christ, too; but you have to go deep in the Lord. Then you will find that there is no fear in that mind. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7). When you take on the mind of Christ, God will lift you up through grace to sit with Him in heavenly places. And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6).

Grace Gives Us Everything

Paul said, And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified [holy like Jesus] (Acts 20:32). Paul had tested God’s grace, and he knew it would save people and make them spiritually rich.

Paul told the apostles and elders in Jerusalem, We believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved (Acts 15:11). The Bible also says that through grace, we can be healed and delivered, become more than conquerors, win the lost and run with patience the race that is set before us. We must take up our cross and follow Jesus all the way, weary not in well-doing, be overcomers and reap without fainting.

We cannot look to or depend on our own strength; we must look to divine grace that gets greater and greater to supply our needs. Use faith; and you will see, feel and have what it takes to use grace. If you do not use grace, God’s work will not get done.

Has anyone ever done something really nice for you; and your response to them was, “I owe you one”? That is a response of gratitude and respect for what they did for you. Your debt to them is not one you regret paying; it is something you delight to do to show your appreciation.

We are totally undeserving of what God has given to us through His wonderful grace, and that is why we should appreciate and love Him so much. That is why we must say with grateful hearts, “Lord, I owe you everything.” Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt (Romans 4:4). We owe everything to the Lord—everything we are in Him or ever hope to be. We owe it to Him to stay away from sin, deceit and confusion.

When you are forgiven of much, it is easy to show your appreciation to God for His wonderful grace. Jesus talked of a sinner woman who had just been saved, saying, Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little (Luke 7:47).

God has called me to be His prophet, and I would never have thought such a thing could happen to me. I live in His very presence, and I know I need Him for this great task of leading God’s people and taking the Gospel to the world.

I would never have chosen this life for Ernest Angley; but because God called me by His grace and because multitudes have been saved, healed and delivered, I go forth in appreciation of His marvelous grace. I love to help people, and I use His grace with all of my heart and mind. I give Him all the honor and glory for all I am and ever will be.

Some of you would not have chosen your calling either, but aren’t you glad that He called you? Don’t begrudge anything you do for the Lord; just let your heart be glad when you think of His grace toward you. Through grace, we all can say just as the Psalmist did, I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

Grace Will Save You

Let the grace of God work for you, and you will be ready for the Rapture. Living in disgrace will make you think the Rapture will never take place; and if it does, it will be hundreds of years before it happens. However, grace will tell you it could happen at any time.

Grace has a loud voice today, and it is telling us to hurry, hurry, hurry because the Lord has had just about enough of this old world. It is full of evil just like it was in Noah’s day, and God said it would be like that when His Son returns.

Jesus likened this hour to the days of Noah and of Sodom and Gomorrah. And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all (Luke 17:26-29). God destroyed people then, and He will do it again.

Sinner, come to Jesus today, and He will forgive you no matter what you have done. Say this prayer for yourself: Oh, God, save my soul. I am so sorry I have sinned against you, but I have come home; and I will serve you for the rest of my life. I believe your living Word, and I know what grace means. I believe in your grace, and I want your favor. I know I have lived in disgrace but no more, precious Lord. You said that if I would repent, you would forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I believe the grace blood washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in!

If you meant that prayer, the glory of Heaven has come; and you are now a new creature in Christ Jesus, made new in righteousness and true holiness. Your sins have been cast into the sea of forgetfulness, never to be remembered against you again. Grace gives you complete victory through Christ. He is the grace Jesus, the grace Son of God and the reason there is a born-new experience made available to all.

Grace Will Heal You

Now, you can be healed of any affliction or disease because the blood cures everything. Do you really believe in healing from Heaven? How many times has the devil robbed you of God’s healing powers? That doesn’t have to be. When the Lord gives you a miracle, it is for you to keep. You may have false symptoms, but those just come from the devil.

The Bible says, He [God] sent his word, [Jesus] and healed them (Psalm 107:20). A man who had a servant who was very dear to him came to Jesus because his servant was dying of palsy. Jesus said, I will come and heal him (Matthew 8:7). And Jesus is saying the same thing to you. The Bible goes on to say, And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour (Matthew 8:13). And you can be healed now, too.

I am not your healer. I am just God’s witness, and I watch while He does the healing. Lord, lay a healing hand on those who are on drugs and alcohol. I command those devils to come out, and they have to come out in the blood name of Jesus. Those who have deadly diseases, God, deliver them. Heal them of all kinds of deadly diseases as only you can do. Heal! in the holy name of the Lord. Heal! in the blood name of Jesus.

Feel His holy power flowing through you and get well. Write and tell me about it, and I will rejoice with you. He is the healing Christ, and I bring you the message of healing from Heaven. It works.

The Lord has given you many scriptures on the grace of God in this sermon. Copy them down in a small booklet and review them often, and you will be surprised at how you will grow in grace and in the Lord, Jesus Christ.
