This last hour is the time to take on the fullness of the mind of Christ. It is available to each child of God, and it doesn’t matter what struggles you have had with it in the past.

Once a person receives salvation and goes on to receive the Holy Ghost baptism, it is the divine will of God for that person to take on the mind of Christ. It is not an option; the Word of God states that it is God’s will. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5).

It is unfortunate that most Christians since the Early Church days never have taken on the mind of Christ. They have failed to use that mind as an example and witness to others, and they have failed to teach and preach that Christ’s mind can be obtained by Holy Spirit-filled children of God.

Over the years, some Christians may have taken on a few of the qualities and characteristics of the mind of Christ; but as a whole, the Church of Jesus Christ has failed the Lord and His work by not using the mind of Christ in its entirety. The Church has lacked the power needed to do His will and bring in the world harvest of souls as God intended them to.

Diligently Seek the Mind of Christ

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6). If you don’t believe you can have the mind of Christ, you won’t please the Lord in taking on that mind.

Don’t be deceived into thinking that such a special, unique and powerful mind will be handed to you on a silver platter just because you are a child of God. With great, divine faith, you must diligently pursue the mind of Christ and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it can be yours. Then God will reward you by bestowing that mind upon you.

The Apostle Peter wrote, Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin (I Peter 4:1). So many ministers and teachers don’t preach living free from sin because they don’t have the mind of Christ.

Peter wrote that children of God can add the same powerful, divine ingredients to their mind that made up the mind of Christ when He was here on Earth. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity [love]. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (II Peter 1:4–8). The divine nature brings victory over all the lusts of the world.

You Must Give All

Christians who have not taken on the mind of Christ in its fullness will struggle to serve God and use the divine nature Peter wrote about. They will hesitate to pay whatever price necessary to follow Jesus and do the whole will of God. Jesus said, He that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it (Matthew 10:38,39).

If you are seeking to live your life through your own will, your own desires and your own thinking, you will lose it in the end. However, if you seek to do the whole will of God and take on His desires, you will have abundant life on Earth and eternal life in Heaven. Jesus said, Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven (Matthew 7:21). Most Christians have never lived up to what Jesus said, nor have they even tried.

The Apostle Paul took on the mind of Christ; and he was able to write, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me (Galatians 2:20).

In Paul’s letters to the different churches, he encouraged the people to take on Christ’s mind as well. Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind (Philippians 2:2). Being like-minded means everyone in the church taking on the mind of Christ.

Jesus, Our Example

Jesus came into this world not only to die for our sins and bring us eternal life but also to be our example of how to live life victoriously. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps (I Peter 2:21).

Jesus came to Earth as both the Son of God and the son of man. He took on a body of clay as we have; and He possessed a human mind of flesh, not a divine mind. [Jesus] Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross (Philippians 2:6-8).

Jesus laid aside all of His power and glory in Heaven to come down into this sinful world as weak, human flesh; and He came under subjection to every trial, valley, temptation and persecution we face. He could have failed God and the plan of redemption. He could have given in to the devil’s temptations, but Jesus had carefully filled His human mind with divine ingredients; so He was victorious all the way to Calvary.

Jesus Never Bowed to Temptation

The Bible says of Jesus, For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15). Christ resisted all the devil’s temptations, even after fasting forty days and nights in the wilderness.

When the devil came to Jesus after the fast, Jesus didn’t use any special, divine power against him. He used the same Word that we have, and He gave the devil what was written. And when he [Jesus] had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:2–4). Jesus had a Word mind, and He kept it filled with all that His Father told Him.

Christ never conformed to this world with all its lusts and pleasures, and He didn’t seek a life of ease for Himself. His mind was devoted to serving others and doing the whole will of the heavenly Father. Jesus said, I have meat to eat that ye know not of...My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work (John 4:32,34). I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work (John 9:4). The mind Christ had is what kept Him under subjection to the will of the Father, even when He knew it would cost Him His life.

In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus was under such great distress and agony that His sweat became as drops of blood. Then momentarily, Christ’s human will rose up against the will of the Father and the very purpose He had come into this world for. And he...fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me (Matthew 26:39).

However, Jesus’ human mind was so yielded to all the divine ingredients He had put in it that He was able to quickly bring Himself under subjection and say, Nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt (Matthew 26:39). There was no room in His human mind for the devil or the flesh to take authority over the will of the Father.

Follow Christ’s Instructions

After Christ had fulfilled the plan of redemption and come forth from the grave, He gave special instructions to His followers of that day and of today saying, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues...they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:15,17,18).

You may have Christ living within, but you will never deny self at all times and do His will unless you receive the Holy Ghost and take on the mind of Christ. Jesus told the disciples, Behold, I [Jesus] send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high (Luke 24:49).

From the time Christ ascended back to Heaven, His Church has been ordained to receive and use the same power He had when He ministered on Earth spreading the Gospel all over the world with signs and wonders. And they [the Early Church disciples] went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following (Mark 16:20). Since that time, that power from On High has not been in operation; and the fullness of the Gospel has not been preached as Christ intended it to be, so signs and wonders have not followed.

Keep Your Mind Renewed

When children of God don’t have the mind of Christ, the ministry of Jesus will not operate as it should because eventually, people will start catering to self and fail to do the whole will of God. They won’t possess the zeal to work and sacrifice for souls around the world; and they won’t remain uncontaminated by the world’s deceits, pleasures and lusts. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2).

Without the mind of Christ, your mind will become leeched with demonic spirits; and those spirits will start to alter your thoughts to the devil’s liking. Your mind can only be unleeched when you are transformed and have a renewed mind, and only then can you live in the will of God and prove it day by day.

Once your mind is renewed, don’t think you are then alright for the rest of the journey. A renewed mind is a continual process. You must always keep your mind free of all demonic leeches and filled up with the divine ingredients that made up the mind of Christ.

Without the mind of Christ, a child of God will not pray and fast as they should; so they won’t be a Jesus witness or use power from On High. If you are a true child of God, you will have a burden for lost and dying souls; and if you have the mind of Christ, you will take on the responsibility of praying and fasting for them to be saved. You won’t be satisfied with watching others take on the responsibility while you just sit in their midst. Jesus said, Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21).

You Must Have the Holy Ghost

To have the mind of Christ and keep it working at all times, a person must, must, must receive the Holy Ghost baptism. As the Son of God, Jesus did not need the Holy Ghost living within Him; but as the son of man walking this Earth, He did need Him. Jesus was baptized in the Holy Ghost and with power; and the Holy Ghost was a great helper, guide, teacher and comforter to Christ’s human mind. Jesus knew what the Holy Ghost would do for His disciples because the Holy Ghost did those things for His mind. The Holy Ghost used divine blood power through Jesus to help others, and the Holy Ghost has been ordained by Jesus to do the same for us.

Jesus said, Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient [necessary] for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you (John 16:7). You must feel the urgency of receiving the Holy Spirit and understand that it is a necessity if you want to take on the mind of Christ.

Many people in churches today have neglected taking on the mind of Christ because they have neglected the Holy Ghost baptism. As a result, they have failed to sacrifice for the Lord and to pay the price necessary to receive all the power Jesus ordained them to have. The Apostle Paul prophesied this would happen and said of such people, Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away (II Timothy 3:5).

The Mind Is Not Sealed

You must understand that there is a difference between your mind and your soul. Think of the human mind as a cup that can only hold a limited amount at a time, but the soul is different because it is eternal. It came from God, so it can hold all of the divinity God wills to pour into it.

When a person receives salvation, their eternal soul is emptied of sin, filled with divinity and sealed with divine blood. That seal is on the inside of the soul, and that is significant because no external force of man or the devil can break it. God has taken responsibility to protect that soul. However, that seal can be broken from within by the person choosing to commit willful sin—when a person sins and they know it is a sin, but they do it anyway.

The mind is not sealed because God has given each child of God the responsibility of taking care of their own mind. Day by day, you are responsible for what you allow into your mind cup; so what do you allow to enter your mind each day?

Do you allow the Holy Spirit who lives within to feed your mind from the divinity that dwells in your soul? Are you careful to fill your mind cup daily with God’s Word, His promises, praises unto Him, memories of past blessings, psalms, hymns and spiritual songs; or do you keep pouring into it things that are worldly and weak? Those things may not be sinful, but they don’t profit your relationship with the Lord.

Fill Your Mind with God

If you are not diligent in keeping your mind cup filled with the goodness of God, the devil and people will be right there to dump in all kinds of despair, lust, gossip, grumbling, complaining, envy, jealousy, strife, fear, doubt and the list goes on. The devil will come against you to try to fill your mind with temptations and battles of the mind; but if your mind is filled with God, there will be no room for anything else. The Bible says, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee (Isaiah 26:3).

You must start every morning with the Lord. It may mean getting up a little earlier than usual before you go to work, but it is necessary for your spiritual health. Why? When you wake up in the morning, your mind cup is empty and ready to be served. Who do you want to be the first to serve it—flesh, the devil or the Lord?

When a person has taken on the mind of Christ in its fullness and properly cared for their mind, they can many times be unaware when Satan comes to battle them, tempt them and torment them because he is powerless to do anything. That person and the Holy Spirit have diligently filled the mind cup and kept it full, so the devil has no place to occupy the mind; and he has to leave.

Add Divinity to Your Mind

Does your mind match your soul? Is the peace in your soul the same as the peace in your mind? Are the love and purity in your soul the same as the love and purity in your mind? If you are a true child of God who is filled with the Holy Ghost and living a pure and holy life, the same ingredients that made up the mind of Christ are in your soul. It is your responsibility to yield to the Holy Spirit so He can help you take those ingredients from your soul and add them to your mind cup. Then you must keep them actively working every day for the rest of the journey.

It is God’s will for every child of God to have the mind of Christ, but it is up to you whether or not you want to live up to His will. Even after you are saved, you are a free moral agent; and you have the right to choose whether you want to go deep in God or settle for less than God’s best and tie His hands in your life.

The Mind of Christ Is the Answer

Some of you may not understand why you have little or no reality in prayer. You may not understand why you don’t hunger and thirst after righteousness or after the Word of God like you should. You wonder why you have absolutely no desire to fast and why you don’t have greater reality in God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. The answer is that you have not taken on the mind of Christ.

Some of you struggle with fear, and you bow to the fear of man instead of yielding to the fear of God. You ask yourself, “I used the blood, so why didn’t it work?” or, “Everyone around me is happy, so why am I so unhappy, restless and dissatisfied?” The answer again is that you have not taken on the mind of Christ in its fullness. You can take that answer and use it to make changes and come out of all your struggles, or you can just disregard it and remain the same person for the rest of the journey.

A person cannot use the things of divinity effectively without having the complete mind of Christ in operation. Christ’s human mind used the spiritual mind in perfection every day, and so must you. You can’t be inconsistent in taking on and using the mind of Christ—thinking sometimes God moves for you, and sometimes He doesn’t. Do you think Jesus lived His life like that? Do you think there were times when the devil overwhelmed Him? No. Jesus was consistently victorious; and when you take on His mind, you too will be consistently victorious.

Seek a New Mind

On Earth, Jesus used no more power than what is made available to children of God today. Unfortunately, most Christians stumble over that or are confused about it; and as a result, the Holy Spirit is unable to use them as He desires to build the Kingdom of God. The mind of Christ is what connects the person with God and all of the divine power and greatness He has made available to us. When everything is in place, divinity will operate and flow just as it did in the Early Church.

So many people have one battle of the mind after another, but the Lord gets no glory out of those battles. They are unnecessary burdens and troubles. Part of the armor of God listed in Ephesians 6 is the helmet of salvation. The Lord revealed to me that lacking any ingredient that makes up the mind of Christ is like having a weak spot or a hole in that helmet, which is supposed to protect your mind.

From this day forward, taking on the mind of Christ must be your main objective. Be diligent in your pursuit and don’t stop until you have the complete mind of Christ no matter how long it takes. If you waver even just a little bit in your pursuit, you will come up short and fail to receive the whole mind of Christ.

Let Christ’s Mind Change Your Life

Paul said, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). In this instance, the prize is the mind of Christ; and you have to press on and battle for it. You have to make sacrifices and pay the price if you really want to receive it.

In this hour, God is calling His true people to press towards the prize of receiving the mind of Christ; and as you do that diligently and in all sincerity, you will begin to see and sense changes in your mind in the way you think and in the way you process thoughts. That will lead to changes in your personality, and you will find certain traits that were a hindrance in the past are gone. Then Jesus' traits will become a part of your personality.

With the mind of Christ, the devil will no longer have the upper hand with you; and you will have fewer and fewer mind battles. Certain stumbling blocks in your life that you just couldn’t seem to overcome will vanish. Weaknesses in your thinking, in your personality and in your walk with God will be strengthened by the grace of God flowing to your mind daily.

Present yourself before the Lord with a sincere heart and let Him anoint you to be able to see yourself. If you realize there is a lack in your spiritual life, you must be determined to do something about it. You must know with all faith that the mind of Christ is on the table for you; and you must hear the Master saying, Come and dine (John 21:12). You must partake until you have the whole mind of Christ actively working in your life. Then you will have more reality in God, receive more power from Him and be used by Him in greater ways.

Salvation Must Come First

Friend, you will never receive the mind of Christ without first having Jesus living within. You have a measure of faith to receive this salvation because the Bible says, God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). The Bible also says, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9). Make your confession right now with me in prayer, and let the power in the blood of Jesus deliver you and make you a new creature in Christ.

Oh, God, I confess all of my sins before you. I am so sorry for sinning against you, but I have come home, heavenly Father, to serve you the rest of my life. I believe there is power in the divine blood of Jesus that washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, dear Jesus! Come in! If you meant that prayer, Jesus is yours.

Now, you must go on to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. You have read in this message how important it is to have Him. Jesus said, Receive ye the Holy Ghost (John 20:22). Lord, in the name of Jesus, I call your anointing down upon these people to receive your gift of the Holy Ghost.

Now, just start praising and glorifying the Lord with your whole heart and mind and get ready to receive. He comes in on those praises; and when He does, He will take over your tongue and speak through you in another language. Don’t stop praising Him until the Holy Ghost comes in.

Healed by His Stripes

When you have Jesus in your heart, you have the Healer living within. The Word of God says, With his [blood] stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus went to the whipping post so you could have healing in your body. If you are sick in body or you have a great need in your life, believe to see the promises of God fulfilled for you. Believe to see your miracle or healing take place.

Lord, I come before your throne of grace in the name of Jesus. We thank and praise you for the divine blood that was spilled on Calvary; and through the blood stripes at the whipping post, we have healing for the body. Oh, God, honor that great sacrifice now and heal those who are in need. In the holy, blood name of Jesus, heal! Heal! Heal! Let your blood power flow to each one and make them whole for your honor and glory.

Now, watch every sign of improvement and give God the honor, the praise and the glory. When your need is met or you receive that miracle or healing, write, email or post a message to social media to let us know what God has done for you. Glorify Him with your testimony and be a witness to others in this final hour.
