All the joy, peace, love, humility—all the characteristics of Jesus—you will find in His blood for you. His blood was given to you to use. It brings the salvation and healing that Jesus paid for in the two-fold atonement: He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus paid for it all.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light…the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin (I John 1:7). Every word in the English language ending with “eth” means to continue. The blood of Jesus continues its cleansing power in your life daily when you have accepted Him into your heart. This scripture does not mean that once you receive salvation you will always have the blood to cleanse you no matter what you do. It means that when you are cleansed, free from all sin, that you never will be bound again unless you commit willful sin. You must willfully sin in order to lose your salvation. What is willful sin? Knowing a thing to be sin in the eyes of God and committing it anyway. The Holy Spirit seals the soul with the blood of Jesus, and only the individual can break that seal.

The Holy Ghost was given to help us use the powers in the blood. Jesus, our example, was baptized in the Holy Ghost; John verified it. Jesus as the Son of God did not need that baptism, but He knew how necessary it would be for us to have it, and He plainly showed us the path to take. He is our example.

Jesus became our elder brother, related to the human race to bring about the great plan of redemption for all. Accept the blood and keep it working in your life as long as you live, for there is no life eternal in Heaven for you if you die outside the blood. The life is in the blood, eternal life, eternal joy, happiness, hope. All the wonderful eternal benefits God has for you are in the blood. There is no lack of the supply of the Jesus blood; it is divine blood. Like God Himself and the Holy Spirit, the blood of Jesus lives and will never, never die. That’s the reason the blood is so important.

The blood spilled on Calvary didn’t run into the ground; the Lord took all of it with Him, walked down the avenue of Glory and offered that blood on the altar of God. The blood of Jesus is not limited; there is blood for all and plenty left over. The limit comes when people don’t use the blood. Many church members in America do not use the blood, and they will never get into Heaven. Church membership outside the blood is nothing but death. Water baptism without repentance is the seal of death; it’s outside the blood. Until you are under the blood, there is no need to be baptized in water. Only when your life goes under the blood are you cleansed through the blood of Jesus.

The blood, like God’s love, is eternal. Like God’s faith, there is no lack in the blood. It is an impossibility for Heaven to run out of the love, faith, joy, peace, compassion, patience we need in the blood. Thank God for the blood that stained the Old Rugged Cross and seals our hearts!

When you come to Jesus, the blood must be your most treasured possession. You will not have Jesus, not enjoy His deliverance, not glory in His benefits without the blood. Jesus gave His blood for you; it is yours. He didn’t give it for you to wash in and not keep. The blood works within every blood-washed soul.

You cannot use that which you do not have. If you do not have the blood, you do not have Jesus or the promises of God. You cannot use the promises of God without the blood; without the blood, they will not work.

The life is in the blood. Without the life of the blood in your heart, the Holy Spirit cannot come in to possess you. You must be blood-washed before the Holy Spirit can baptize you. You could never get your soul clean enough for the Holy Ghost to move into without the blood. The blood is the only thing that will cleanse you from all sin.

Learn the following steps in using the benefits of the blood in your life:

First: One must receive divine blood which comes through repentance, confessing your sins with godly sorrow, accepting the new life through the blood. New life is given through the blood. If anyone is in Christ, he or she is a brand new creation. Jesus told Nicodemus: Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3).

Second: The Holy Spirit will apply the blood—seal your soul with it. You don’t need to be afraid that the devil will get into your soul to steal your salvation. As long as it is your will to live for God, that seal can only be broken by you, by your sinning against God. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30). To commit sin is to grieve the Holy Spirit, to break the seal of salvation. Any kind of sin grieves the Holy Spirit.

Third: Know what is in the blood, know the powers—plural—that are in the blood. Through the blood of Jesus, His powers are your possession.

Fourth: Have full assurance that you are made holy through the blood. You must become holy like God Himself because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy (I Peter 1:16). The choice is yours: Holiness or hell; righteousness or unrighteousness. Spiritual death occurs when sin enters the soul, for then the divine saving blood of Jesus withdraws. The soul is no longer protected; sin takes over and the person is damned. The blood of Jesus cannot be contaminated by sin. If you commit willful sin, if you accept or bring contamination into your spirit, the blood of Jesus is no longer there; you have rendered it helpless to work for you. Only through your spirit, your willingness, your staying free from sin as you yield to the Holy Spirit can you keep the divine blood of Jesus flowing and His love and faith working.

Many try—and fail—in their own spirits to keep faith and love working. They don’t know what it means to yield. If you believe all that God has said about the blood, you believe that Christ was born of the Virgin Mary. Only sinless blood was brought from Heaven.

Fifth: As a holy person, you must decide that all the benefits in the blood are yours to use. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits (Psalm 103:2). Know and ponder the many, many benefits of the blood.

Sixth: Recognize the authority you have to use the blood, authority from On High. Just as the blood must be all living reality to you, the authority to use the blood must become living reality to you, also. Only the Holy Spirit can make the blood living reality to you. The Holy Spirit knows all about the blood. As you yield to Him, He will use the blood through you. The Holy Spirit applies the blood to your soul when you receive salvation; He cleanseth you with the blood. As long as you commit no willful sin, the blood continues to work; you are a holy vessel, kept in the holiness and purity of God, just as clean as Jesus was when He walked here on Earth, just as holy. You have the same love, the same faith—not another faith, not another love. The nine fruits of the Spirit are all yours. The blood must be in your soul in order for the Holy Spirit to be able to produce those fruits in your life. Those fruits don’t come daily from Heaven to you; they are produced in your own soul, in your own life—the fruits of the Spirit. To have those fruits produced in you, you must yield to the blood through the Holy Spirit. Let the soul be readied through the blood.

Many are deceived about salvation. Pouting, raging, fussing, they still claim to be sealed with the blood. They are deceived. When the blood comes into your heart and washes away all your sins, it makes you a new creation in Christ Jesus and you stop all the fussing. Indulging in the things the Lord said Thou shalt not do, you lose—or else never had—your salvation. Galatians five lists the seventeen works of the flesh: Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envying, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-21). If any of those works are being produced in your spirit, in your life, the blood is not there; you have no part in the Kingdom of God.

The Word of God says you must live holy; there is no other way to live holy other than through the holy blood that Christ brought from Heaven. For over thirty years Christ kept that holy blood here on Earth, and then He carried it back to Heaven, offered it on the altar of God for the redemption of all who would yield to it. Day and night that holy blood has been working since that time for every man, woman and child. When a sinner cries out for God, really means it, he receives the blood from the altar of God, blood that was spilled on Calvary.

Not one drop of the blood of Jesus has ever been wasted, not one drop can the devil destroy. Use the blood to defeat the devil and all demons. Why be afraid the devil will overtake you? Come out of that bed each morning ready to bulldoze him under; you have the blood of Jesus to do it, and He wants you to use it. The devil loses his power, his strength when you use the blood.

In this final hour, use the blood against all the battles of the mind coming against you. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (II Corinthians 10:5). Philippians 4:8 tells you six things to think upon: Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. These six things the Holy Spirit will help you think upon as you yield to Him.

As you yield to the Holy Spirit, He will help you use the blood to drive back the devil. Set a boundary line against the devil. Use the blood and dare him to cross it. Let him know who and what you are. Jesus never backed away from the devil, never ran from him; and we want to be just like Jesus.

Use the blood to defeat all depression. Depression is of the devil, not God. Do you expect to be depressed in Heaven? Of course not. Use the blood to be rid of it. In the blood is victory over all oppression, depression, anxiety, all the works of the enemy.

The blood—use it and destroy all fear. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear (I John 4:18). Only God’s love is perfect, and that love is in the blood of Jesus. The Holy Spirit takes that love as you yield to Him and makes it alive in your heart. Don’t pray for God to take away your fear; use the weapons He has given you to drive out fear: love and faith. Let the love and faith of God in the blood of Jesus work for you. In the divine blood of Jesus flows everything mankind needs.

The disciples had problems learning how to use the blood, and people still have problems today. But the Holy Spirit is working day and night to reveal to every born-again person who will listen what is in the blood, what he or she possesses. If you don’t know what you have, how can you use it? It’s time to stand up and be counted, time to accept the old-time power of God through the blood of Jesus. It’s time to know who you are, what you are and where you stand in the Lord. Decide whether you have eternal life or not and whether God loves you.

In the blood of Jesus you find that His grace is sufficient for every need. Reach out for the greatness of the Lord every day. Yield to the Holy Spirit; learn from the Word of God what are the benefits of His children. What are your benefits? The list of benefits is so long, most people have never identified them all, don’t understand what is theirs. Often people go lacking because of not knowing their benefits through the blood of Jesus. You need to know, and you can know.

In this last hour, the Bride will know; using the benefits in the blood, she will be a holy terror to the devil. She will not run from the devil; the devil will run from her. Through the blood of Jesus, the Bride will trample demons underfoot, deliver the devil possessed, set the captives free.

In the blood of Jesus is power over all diseases and afflictions. The blood stripes, remember, deliver the people: With his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Had there been no shedding of blood, we would have no divine healing. In the blood of Jesus is the miraculous power over all diseases. Jesus went about all Galilee…healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people (Matthew 4:23). When He walked the earth, Jesus had healing power in the divine blood that flowed through Him, and that healing power is still working today to get you well.

Think what a wonderful possession you have in salvation! Then think how many times the devil has rubbed your nose in the sand when you had the power through the blood to conquer him. How many tears have you shed unnecessarily? How many crosses have you carried that were not yours but crosses of the devil’s making? The devil will give you his cross anytime he can talk you into carrying it. Check your load; see what you are carrying. Get rid of all junk.

There is power in the blood over all deformities, power to straighten every weak leg, to lengthen a leg that is shorter than the other, power to put eyes into empty sockets. Power, power, wonder-working power is in the blood. Even life for the dead is in the blood. When the divine blood-call came: Lazarus, come forth! Lazarus walked out of the tomb. Life flowed into the dead body.

If the reality of the Bible is not in your heart, you don’t have it. You can’t carry the Word only through mental assent and lip service and expect to see miraculous results. The Word of God must be reality to your heart.

When you use the blood by claiming the promises of God, you know what a weapon you have. Use the Word like a weapon, like Jesus used it, and you will walk, talk like Him.

Each member of the bridal company is stepping up to take his or her place, putting into action the great vision of evangelizing the whole world. We must tell the world about the divine blood of Jesus that sets the captives free, gives them love, peace, contentment and happiness. The blood of Jesus is the passport to Heaven for everyone who wants it.

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Colossians 1:9). The will of God comes through the blood; He speaks to you, looks at you through the blood. All the wisdom, all the knowledge, all the understanding you need is in the blood. You are partakers of divinity through the blood of Jesus and no other way. Jesus was very man, yet He was very God because of the blood. The God/man is the part that delivered the human race; the earth/man could not do it.

Be filled with wisdom, knowledge and understanding of His will that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing (Colossians 1:10). To walk worthy of the Lord is to walk worthy of the blood. Do you walk worthy of the blood of Jesus? If you are not free from all sin, you are not walking worthy of the blood of Jesus. If you are unworthy it’s because you are sinning against God. Everyone who is blood washed is worthy to walk in all pleasing of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.

Being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10). You will not increase in the knowledge of God unless the blood is used in your life all the time. If it’s not used, you won’t have understanding of divinity, won’t tap into divine knowledge. Many in the Christian world are in darkness; they don’t understand the Word of God because they have not let the blood work.

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness (Colossians 1:11). Where does divine strength come from? The blood. All the strength you need is in the blood. His glorious power comes to you through the blood. The Holy Spirit helps you take His glorious power from the blood and use it. That is the reason you must have the divine teacher, guiding you into all truth.

The truth is in the blood. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). You have no truth of God today without the blood, no truth to work for you, no truth to show you the paths of God. Living in a fog, many cannot find their way; they can only find it through the blood. Education, worldly knowledge won’t show you the way to Heaven. You must find it through the knowledge of God. What does God want of you? What paths has He laid out for your feet? Only through the blood will you find those paths; only through the blood will you walk those paths. Only through the blood will you really want those paths. If you haven’t accepted the blood of Jesus, if it isn’t flowing freely in your life night and day, self—not Jesus—is on the throne of your heart. He is living reality to you only through the blood.

Why can’t you be happy and free when you have the blood within, divinity? You are a partaker of His divine blood, of His divine nature, when you have been born again, able to be longsuffering in bringing in the harvest, able to be patient with people joyfully. Some “Christians” complain about working for the Lord, yet they think they are all right with God. They are “all right” to be left when the Rapture takes place. They are “all right” to go to hell. Is that what you want, or do you want to be all right to live forever?

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light (Colossians 1:12). Through the blood of Jesus we have been made partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. What kind of light? The blood light, the only light that will penetrate all the darkness of sin. In that divine blood of His Son, God sent you the same light that lights up Heaven. Why pine about the darkness on the earth when you have the light of God? He is God of light, making plain paths for your feet. Walk in His faith, love and obedience all the way.

Depending on whether you are saved or unsaved at the end of life’s journey, you will go to either Heaven or hell. You have the good Holy Ghost or else you don’t. If you talk in tongues at will, you don’t have the Holy Ghost but are deceived. You grieve the Holy Ghost out of your life when you try to talk for Him. No one taught those souls in the Upper Room to speak in tongues. Teaching people how to speak in tongues at will is a false doctrine that has destroyed many. The devil has used it to try to make people scoff at the reality of the baptism in the Holy Spirit. You don’t repeat mumble jumble or talk baby talk and expect the real Holy Ghost to baptize you. Pray in your own tongue praising God until the Holy Spirit takes over praying in another tongue. The Lord has prayed through me thousands of hours in other languages and dialects, but I pray in English until the Lord takes over. That’s the reason I’m edified and blessed.

You may have seen some people on television who start in speaking with what they call a prayer tongue, praying at will. It’s disgusting. I run from people like that. The Lord one day in a divine visitation told me that evil spirits have taken some people over who talk in tongues at will. The devil is talking through them. Others do the speaking themselves—and grieve the Holy Spirit. If they keep on, they will grieve Him right out of their lives. God, not man, told me that speaking in tongues at will is a dangerous thing. I see these offensive practices going on, ridiculous books being published, and I know these people will have to give an account to God one day for their actions. They have fooled and turned many away from the Holy Ghost. In my services, people get the real Holy Ghost.

I told the Lord when I was in my teens that I wanted what the apostles in the second chapter of Acts received. “Lord,” I said, “this is what I want. I want the real Holy Ghost. I want the same Holy Ghost you gave to them.” I ordered it that way and got it that way. I had nothing to do with what the Holy Ghost spoke through me. It was incredible to me to think the Holy Spirit would take over my tongue and speak in another language. I knew the Holy Ghost was real for others, but it was hard for me to believe He could speak through me, too. If someone had said, “Listen to me and talk like I talk,” I probably would have opened my eyes and told him to be quiet. I had seen too many get the real Holy Ghost to want anything else.

In one service overseas, 29,477 received the Holy Ghost baptism. In another service, 64,574 received the Holy Ghost. Every one of them spoke in tongues as the Holy Spirit gave utterance. We were almost in Heaven that night. The Lord had given me a revelation before I went to that country that thousands would receive the baptism. I’m expecting to have services on the mission field where it will not be uncommon for 100,000 or more to receive the Holy Ghost. I feel that before it’s all over, half a million or more will receive the Holy Ghost in one service. The fire will fall. We have had over 160,000 miracles and healings and over 100,000 saved in just one night as the power of God swept over multitudes of people.

God is ready to move; it’s the people who must get ready to come with hungry hearts to hear the Word of God. The Word of God in all its greatness and power will turn multitudes from their idol gods to the living God. God will move upon them, and they will be ready to receive. As they see the bodies of their children coming to normal, look into little eyes once blind that now suddenly can see, they will glorify the God who made them.

One woman in an African crusade brought her mother whose foot was twisted, and the Lord straightened it. The people were shouting praises; and when they settled down, the daughter demonstrated how her mother’s leg had been crippled, how people had to bring her in because she couldn’t walk. Now the leg was straight. God had done it. She was walking as well as anyone. Then the daughter said, “My mother’s blind. Would you pray for her to get her sight?” Instantly the Lord gave the mother her sight. While some wonder whether God is performing miracles, that blessed woman received her sight and was looking all around. The God of miracles lives; it’s time to believe God.

Do you accept all that is in the blood? It’s all yours, your possession—reconciliation to God through Christ’s death. In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist (Colossians 1:14-17).

The devil has robbed, stolen much that belongs to God, and God is taking it all back, even the earth, the very ground. He will lift the curse from the earth and see to it that the devil does not step a foot back on it. Into the bottomless pit one angel with one chain—a chain of Jesus’ blood—will cast the devil, and then later the devil will be thrown into the lake of fire. One chain of blood that stained the Old Rugged Cross will bind the devil in your life. If you have the blood of Jesus working in you, you have as much power over the devil as that angel. You can use the blood to trample the devil underfoot. Jesus said, In my name shall they cast out devils (Mark 16:17). He didn’t say you might accidentally trample on one because you were scared to death and running; He was telling you that you have overcoming power through His blood. Be positive, let the devil know you are not afraid. Don’t take up time with him; ignore him. Let him be. Don’t talk to a snake when you are about to trample it underfoot. Trample it and go on. Some people talk to the devil, telling him they have the power to trample him, but they never seem to use that wonderful power.

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell (Colossians 1:17-19). It pleased the Father for all fullness to dwell in Jesus so that He could serve all fullness to us. There is no lack of the benefits God has for us. He serves it all to us. We have it daily to use.

Having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblamable and unreproveable in his sight (Colossians 1:20-22). We are reconciled to God through the blood, through the blood-Cross. No sin can be reconciled to God. Anyone who has ever been reconciled to God had to be washed clean, free of sin.

Some people believe they cannot live free from sin. It’s a lie of the devil. If the enemy is still in their minds to do evil works, they are not reconciled to God. The Lord will be coming for a Church without spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27). Jesus is coming for people who are living holy. One speck of sin makes a person unholy. To be holy, unblamable and unreprovable in His sight requires the absence of sin. Jesus through His death made this holy living possible. He shed divine blood to make people holy so that He could present them holy. We have to be made holy before He can present us to the Father.

Any kind of sin has blame. Sin is to blame for all sorrow, heartache, despair, broken homes. God is not to be blamed for any of it. No guile was found in the mouth of Jesus, no guile in the mouths of those who have truly been born again.

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister (Colossians 1:23). You must continue in it. If you sin, you lose your salvation; sin cannot enter Heaven. Many have backslidden. Adam and Eve once were so holy that God came down to walk and talk with them, but after they sinned, backslid, their connection to God was broken. Judas once was saved; he was one of the twelve sent out with the power of the Lord, but he backslid. Even Peter backslid; he swore and denied Christ, but later he came back, was forgiven and became a great warrior for the Lord.

Continue in the faith; let the faith of God take you over, ground and settle you in the Lord. Be separated from the world by the truth and into the truth. Paul wrote: I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints (Colossians 1:25,26). At last the blood is no longer to be a mystery to the body of Christ. The Bride is meant to understand all that is in the blood, all the benefits of God in it for her. The saints of God to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus (verses 27,28). You can’t be perfect in Christ Jesus if you have sin. Sin kills perfection.

For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) (Ephesians 3:1-4). Paul was given knowledge in the mystery of Christ, and today the Lord is giving us knowledge in that same mystery. Many have not understood the greatness of Christ, have not used the fullness of Him, and so they have not received the benefits offered them through the many things that are in the blood of Jesus Christ.

The mystery of Christ which in other ages was not made know unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit (Ephesians 3:5). In Old Testament days people did not understand about Jesus. Although Moses spoke of His coming and Isaiah told of His birth and death, neither one was enlightened about the mystery of the blood. It was not revealed to them, but to Paul it was revealed that the Gentiles should be fellow-heirs, and of the same body and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel (verse 6). The mystery of Jesus is the mystery of the blood, the divine blood; Paul brought this mystery to the Gentiles.

How could Jesus be very man as well as very God? When you understand the mystery of the blood, you understand that Jesus was born of a virgin, that the blood came from the Father, from divinity, the Holy Ghost.

Paul said he was made a minister of the Gospel according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power (Ephesians 3:7). How does the power of God work? Through the blood. It’s blood-power. Paul goes further: Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ (verse 8). Where do you find the unsearchable riches of Christ? In the blood. The blood is filled with riches beyond the comprehension of the human mind. We can’t take them all in, but we can take in all that we need.

And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:9). What is our fellowship with the Lord? What brings us into this holy place with Him? What makes it possible for us to live holy? The power of the blood. Many, I say again, do not believe they can live holy; they don’t understand the mystery of the blood, the mystery of Jesus, how the blood works or the power in it. I rejoice to see devils losing their battles through the blood, to see God’s people using the blood.

Jesus said, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth (Matthew 28:18). He brought that divine blood with Him from Heaven, and He gave it to His disciples—the power in His divine blood. He told them to go forth to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils (Matthew 10:8). Then He gave power to heal the sick and cast out devils to the laypeople: The Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name (Luke 10:1,17). The power to cast out devils is in the blood. One devil cannot cast out another devil; it’s impossible. Jesus said, And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand (Matthew 12:26)?

Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate (Hebrews 13:12). To be sanctified means to be made holy. If you are holy, you have not one speck of sin. At the age of twelve, Jesus had all the answers through His divine blood. You can have all the answers you need for life today through the blood of Jesus, through divinity. You are a partaker of His divine blood, of His divinity. Through divinity you have answers to your questions.

In the beginning, Adam and Eve had all the answers because they had divinity in them, the nature of the Lord; and they were partakers of His divine nature. They walked, talked, lived like God and had His peace, joy and happiness. How was this possible? Through His divine nature. That divine nature is what the devil destroyed in their lives. They suffered great distress outside Eden, knowing they couldn’t get back in. It took the blood of Jesus to make a door back into Eden. You can find that blood-door in the form of the cross. Through that door, walk back into the Eden of God’s happiness, peace, joy and contentment that He willed mankind to have in the very beginning.

This fellowship with God isn’t something new; God is continuing His plan, a plan that was interrupted, set aside for thousands of years but put into motion once again at the Cross. Then during that long period after the great evangelistic spirit of the Early Church, the light of the Gospel almost went out. But now once again it’s blazing with God’s knowledge and greatness. The mysteries of the Lord are being revealed to the Bride of Christ. She has come into that wonderful place of accepting all the Lord says, accepting the Spirit of Truth. She lives and abides in the power of truth, the truth of deliverance, the truth of greatness, the truth of power and happiness, joy, love and faith. Therefore she is understanding the mysteries of God, the mystery of the blood, the mystery of Jesus Christ the divine Son of God. Man can be made new through that blood and go back into spiritual Eden.

God’s people for the most part have failed to be the testimonies and the witnesses for the Lord that they should have been. The distractions of this life carry people away from God. Man can never make a heaven out of material possessions. When you come to death’s door, material possessions mean nothing. You can’t take any of them with you. All that counts is the way you have lived for the Lord. That which you have in your heart is eternal, the priceless grace of God.

One missionary in a dying condition gave this farewell: “I’m going home not because of the works that I have done but I’m going home on the blood of Jesus.” Only if you go home through the blood will you make it to Heaven. The blood walk, the blood highway takes you there. It’s a way of holiness, a highway that not one unclean thing, not one person with sin can walk upon. I know how I felt when I received salvation; that gate swung open and I landed in the middle of a spiritual Eden. It was glorious! For the next six weeks I walked like one in a trance of joy and peace. I just wanted to be with Jesus, to learn more about Him. I hadn’t known that a child of God could be so happy, that I could find more joy with the Lord than I had ever found in the world. I didn’t weep over the world. I was glad to be rid of it after I got into Eden.

Some people don’t get into Eden; they stand outside where everything is cursed, stand on cursed ground. Their souls are growing thorns and nettles. They act like it, talk like it, irritate people. If only they would wake up, find the real happiness and peace of God in the blood, they would be different people.

The blood, I say again, is your way into Eden. If you don’t have joy and peace, it’s time to move on into Eden through the blood of Jesus. Jesus is your best friend; when you love and serve Him, you will always have a friend. If people forsake you, let you down, it’s time to cling to His hand a little tighter, move in a little closer to Him. Remember when you were born new; look at Jesus and know your life can be holy and pure like His—through the blood.

Adam and Eve, remember, actually walked and talked with God. A long time later, God walked and talked with Enoch, and now Jesus is walking and talking with us. He said, Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world (Matthew 28:20). You don’t have to look for Him; when you are born new, He is with you always, right there in your heart. As long as you are born again, staying free of sin, Jesus lives within. Through faith you know He is there.

The blood brings you into the same relationship with Heaven that Jesus had with the Father. When you are covered with the blood you have that divine relationship, and you can call Heaven anytime. Only you yourself can put static on the line. Everything is all right in Heaven; it’s down here you have trouble.

The devil is the prince of the air, but thank God, one day he will be cast down. Don’t look at him, but look to Jesus, keep your mind on Jesus. Think about what you have in Him. You are made new; you can have the same characteristics, the same traits as Jesus. How God must love you! He loved Enoch so much that one day He decided to bring him home. One of these days the Lord will decide to take His children home in the Rapture, those who are filled and thrilled with His greatness, with His power. It will take the Holy Ghost to get you out of here.

Without the Holy Spirit you cannot use what is in the blood. You will not find your way in this hour without the Holy Ghost whom God hath given to them that obey him (Acts 5:32). The Lord is coming after the obedient. The obedient will receive salvation and go on to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. Salvation and obedience to God are the qualifications for receiving the Holy Ghost baptism.

The blood sacrifices in the Old Testament didn’t bring man into the fellowship with God that God wanted. Man’s sin separated him from God, and man had to be freed from all sin in order to have fellowship with God. Your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear (Isaiah 59:2). Jesus used the divine blood to tear down the middle wall of partition that separated man from his God. At the Crucifixion, the veil in the temple was rent, the veil that hung before the holy of holies into which only the high priest could enter on the Day of Atonement. Had man torn the veil, he would have torn it from bottom to top. But it was rent from top to bottom, showing that God had done it, that there no longer was a barrier between God and those who sought Him with their whole hearts.

Man must have more than human nature; he must have divine nature. Divine nature set Adam and Eve apart from the world, and when they lost it, they were cursed. When you lose the divine nature, you have nothing to keep you from the devil; nothing to make you fit for Heaven. Only divine nature can take you through to Heaven. You don’t wait until you are in Heaven to have that divine nature; you get it on this side of Heaven.

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (II Peter 1:4). When Jesus combined human nature with His divine nature, He showed us the God/man. Through His divine nature, through His blood, come the new creations of those who receive salvation. Jesus showed man how the divine nature and the human nature mix. First, the human nature must be cleansed with the blood of Jesus, and then it mixes with, fellowships with, divinity. It mixes well, blends in with God.

When you are made holy, no condemnation is in your soul. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit (Romans 8:1). Unless the divine blood is in you, you will not walk after the Spirit, obey the Spirit or be led by the Spirit. You will be led by the spirit of error because you will have given over to the flesh. The only way you can become a part of God and remain a part of Him is through divinity. Divinity must live in you all the time.

Paul said, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me (Galatians 2:20). Every real child of God can say the same thing. Without the blood of Jesus in your heart, you are not a child of God but a pretender, an imposter, a fake.

Man cannot do away with sins; only the blood of Jesus can wash away sins. Only through Jesus can you be forgiven. The Holy Ghost applies the blood. Man can point you to the blood, but man cannot forgive sins; it’s an impossibility.

To be born new is a wonderful transformation, an inner, ethical, spiritual transformation that can come only through the new birth by the Holy Spirit applying the blood. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation (II Corinthians 5:17,18). Notice the ethical and spiritual feature of Paul’s experience. Once he was against everyone but the non-Christian Jews. But after his experience with Jesus on the road to Damascus, suddenly he became humble, meek, patient, generous, forgiving; now he was made brand new. On fire for Jesus, Paul became an apostle to the Gentiles. He gave up everything for Christ, suffering much persecution. Without complaint, he did it all. He acknowledged that he was responsible for having Christians murdered, that he was a debtor to all men. What a change salvation brought to Paul! Had his change been merely outward and not in the heart, he still would have had that malignant persecuting, devilish temperament that had Christians put to death.

I have learned, Paul said, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:11-13). Something very internal happened to Paul, and something very internal happens to everyone who comes to Jesus through His blood. Only through the blood does salvation come. It can’t happen any other way.

What is in the divine blood of Jesus? The overcoming power that Jesus used when He was here. He defeated the devil in all ways, and that power is in the blood for us to use. His blood is the blood of hope, the hope of Heaven. The courage of Heaven is in this divine blood, the strength of Heaven, victories for every valley, for every mountain.

In the blood of Jesus you find Heaven’s love that cannot be destroyed by the devil; it’s eternal, the eternal love of God in the blood. That precious, tender blood flows day and night against all evil to keep you protected. This divine blood has the song in the night of joy, peace, strength, happiness. This blood has the laughter of Heaven. God makes His people to laugh. All of your tears will be dried one day through the blood of Jesus. That handkerchief that God will use to wipe away your human tears will be the blood of Jesus.

In His blood is healing for every broken heart, power to break every yoke of bondage. Through the blood you can be delivered from whatever binds you; you can be set free. Blood to trample any kind of devil—even Lucifer himself—underfoot is available to every child of God.

In the blood of Jesus is victory over all oppression, depression, all anxiety. In the blood of Jesus is power to destroy the spirit of disobedience and arrogance, the power to put self under submission to the Holy Spirit of truth. In the blood of Jesus is power to destroy every particle of deceit. Not one particle of deceit can get through the gates of Glory.

In His divine blood is power to walk hand in hand with divinity. The life in the blood penetrates all darkness, lights up all roads and paths. The blood-washed have plain paths promised to them. The blood-washed are the saints of God. Their life is to be different from the life of the world.

We’ve taken our opinions and cast them aside for the opinions of God and the thoughts of God. We don’t live by our opinions. If we have an opinion, we take it to the Word, and the Spirit of Truth helps us to see if it will stand the Word-test. If it doesn’t, we throw it away. We give no one our own opinions until we take them to God. If we would not take them to God, we would be using a careless spirit that displeases and grieves the Holy Spirit. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God (Ephesians 4:30). Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned (Matthew 12:36,37).

When you give people advice and that advice causes them to get into trouble, you are responsible. If you wrong people with your opinion, you are responsible. I’m responsible for everything I tell people; that’s the reason I depend on God to give what He wants the people to know. I’m His mouthpiece. I wait for God to give me the answers for people.

The power in the divine blood will open the gates of Glory for all the redeemed. We’ll have no trouble getting through the gates of Glory; the redeemed will go sweeping through because of the power in the blood.

The blood shuts out everything unlike God. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life (Revelation 21:27). It takes deceit to make a lie, and nothing that makes a lie will enter Heaven. You must have your sins washed away with the blood; the blood must be in your soul before the blood is used to write your name in the book of life. God doesn’t write your name in the book of life until every sin is out of you, saith the Lord. In the moment, in the split second that every sin is washed away, your name is recorded in the book of life because then and then only do you become born of the Spirit of God. Then and then only do you have the born again experience that Jesus told Nicodemus about. The divine blood of Jesus will make you an heir of all the greatness of Heaven, a joint-heir with Jesus.

The blood makes all things new. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new (Revelation 21:5). There will be a new heaven, a new earth. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son (Revelation 21:7). You must use the blood to be an overcomer. Without His blood you will not be an overcomer; it’s impossible.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin (I John 1:7). Thank God for the blood of Jesus! Thank God for the blood that stained the Old Rugged Cross! Thank God for the blood in Heaven today on the altar of God and in the souls of the redeemed throughout the whole earth! The blood flows constantly; it’s filled with all the life of God, in action all the time in our lives, living divinity on the inside of us, living divinity in the soul that came from God. That soul once was contaminated with no room for God, but then through the blood it was blood-washed, blood-bought and blood-kept. Thank God for the blood!

Yea, saith the Spirit of the Lord: I am giving you the mystery of the blood. You must use it in this your final hour. There will be many, many valleys for you, and I will send you into special valleys to rescue multitudes of people. You will have to have my whole armor to be the witness that I will you to be. I will be with you; my power will work within you. The blood will flow, the blood with all its power and victory over death, hell and the grave.

No power will stand before my redeemed, before the Bride as she finishes her work and brings in my harvest. I will stretch forth my hand, and she will accept direction. She will walk as I walk, and she will use my faith and my love. She will serve all of my greatness to the heathen in this her final hour. Joy and gladness will be hers. And she will serve in great peace and contentment because she knows that I am with her and all power belongs to her and that she will use my greatness. She will not fear what man will do to her because she knows that her Lord is greater and His powers are greater than all the powers of darkness. She will take my Gospel to the ends of the earth, bringing my harvest, and then the end will come, saith the Lord.

If you have one particle of sin in you, one speck of deceit in your soul, the blood isn’t there. Heaven won’t be yours unless you let the blood come into your heart. It will come, but you must want it. If you don’t have that divine blood in your soul, let me pray with you: Oh, God, I have sinned against you; I am so sorry! But I have come home, and I’m going to serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. I believe in the blood of Jesus, and I know there’s power in the blood of Jesus to wash away all of my sins. Come on in, Jesus! Come into my heart!

If you meant that prayer, if you really accepted the blood, the Lord has moved in. He has written your name in the book of life, your name. All names in that book are written with one kind of ink only, the divine blood that Jesus shed on Calvary. Thank God for the blood of Jesus! It’s our greatest possession. Through the blood we possess the whole Jesus. It’s wonderful to stake your claim for Jesus, accepting His blood; it means you have staked your claim for Heaven, a place of many mansions. One day, if you’re true to that blood, you will walk down the Avenue of Glory and kneel before the great throne of God, thanking Him for the blood of His Only Begotten Son that made it possible for you to be there.

You who are sick and afflicted, God has gifted me with His gifts, His power for healing. I’m just His humble vessel of clay; I’m not a healer. He’s the healer. All the honor, all the glory go to Him. Lord, I bring the sick and afflicted to you. I bring the cancer victims, the heart patients, the crippled, the blind. I bring little deformed children, little blind babies for deliverance. I bring them in your faith, the faith that’s in the blood, the divine blood. I bring them in your love, the love in the divine blood of Jesus, healing blood, healing power. In the name of Jesus, from your gift of miracles, from your gifts of healing it comes. Heal! Heal in the holy, holy name of the Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus.

The healing power is flowing, flowing. If you have believed, that power is going into you or into your child. Watch it work. Through the blood of Jesus, His powers are your possession. Know what is in the blood, know the powers there for you and claim them for the honor and glory of your Lord. Use them daily, and Jesus victories will be yours.
