I am persuaded to believe that many today are wearing the veil of the Bride of Christ; the Holy Spirit has put that touch on a number of Christians in this final hour. Do you have that veil, or is the Holy Spirit still working to bring you to the place your life can be mended, prepared, made ready and yielded for the second coming of the Lord? No one but the Holy Spirit is able to put that veil on you; it is one of the final touches preparing you for His coming. How marvelous it is!

Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners (Song of Solomon 6:10)? The writer here is describing how the Bride of Christ looks as she wears the veil. Are you, or will you be part of the bridal company? As a whole, that company does not have the veil yet; but some individuals, making up the group of those who will be raptured, already possess it. These are the ones who have yielded completely to the power and Spirit of God in this final hour. Caught up in such a realm of the miraculous power of God, they have lost sight of this Earth life. Yielded so completely to Jesus, they daily are walking hand in hand with Him. Full of faith, they are safely sheltered in the ark with the Lord, knowing the Tribulation Period is about to set in. The door of mercy is still open to all the inhabitants of the earth and, like Noah of old before the door was closed, these people plead to the Lord for the ones not yet in safety. Noah was in the ark seven days before the Lord closed the door; others could have entered had they chosen to do so. In our day, those who are wearing the bridal veil are completely within the ark, Jesus, the refuge for all mankind. If you are totally His, He is in you and you in Him. You are possessed, surrounded completely by Him. You are shut in, not shut out, in these our final moments on earth. The Spirit is forcefully dealing to get everyone ready who will come; the time is so short! We are hurrying to finish our final work before we leave, just as Noah and his family rushed to get everything ready to sail. It took miracle power to bring the animals by twos into the ark, and today it is taking miracle power to clothe people in the bridal veil. Those who wear it have beheld His glorious miracle power. God’s miracles are abundant, that this is the pouring-out hour the Bride has no doubt. Faith unwavering, the Bride is believing the Lord. When will the door close? I doubt that Noah knew the ark door would close in seven days; even on the last day it is unlikely he was sure until the door actually closed. It was just the urgent call for sons and daughters to hurry, to set their things in orde;, there’s much to be done. So long as that door remained open, Noah kept crying to the people, “Here is the miracle door, come on in!” His faith was such that he believed the Lord would enlarge the ark if enough people started for the door.

Today, once again, a great invitation rings throughout the land. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely (Revelation 22:17). The Bride, as well as the Holy Spirit, calls urgently to the lost. Those wearing the bridal veil have so yielded to Him that in perfection of unity they cry, “Come, oh, come, come!” The Bride feels the same love, the same desire and yearning for the lost as does the Holy Spirit. That one who has received the veil is willing to sacrifice anything, and has sacrificed self completely, leaving behind every bond that would tie her to the world. Everything is secondary to doing God’s will.

Noah and his family had left all behind, and now the door is about to close—it’s an exciting moment. They knew it would not be long. Is everything ready? Go over the ark carefully once again; make sure each animal is in place; make sure we have carried out completely all God’s instructions. Check again to see that every crack is sealed. Not one crack can be allowed to remain open. When the door closes, the waters, the floods of tribulation will rise; and then it will be too late to seal that which has been missed. Don’t accept what your eyes tell you; reach out and feel, too.

We reach out, not just with our eyes, but to feel through the Holy Spirit, searching out by the touch of His power, wisdom and knowledge to discover if everything is all right. We’re going over our lives, searching carefully. Have we left everything behind? Have we brought anything on board unpleasing to the Lord? Our ship is about to sail; we are almost ready to rise up. It looks like an impossibility, and to the world our preparations to leave may look ridiculous, but those with the veil do not really care. Noah didn’t care what the rest of the world thought about his ark; he had died to all of what man had to say. He knew he was in touch with the Almighty. When the Bride receives her veil, she no longer worries about the words and thoughts of others around her. She is so pleased that the Holy Spirit rests on her saying, “This one is ready to make up the bridal company,” that she looks at nothing else. She has come into perfection, into the love, the faith, the greatness and the miracles of God. Who is she that cometh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun? Only through the Son of righteousness can the Bride be clear as the sun. She must possess Him and He must possess her.

The Bride’s great strength and overcoming power is described as being terrible as an army with banners going to battle. She is similar, not to man’s army, but to the hosts of the armies of Heaven. Look at the hosts of the Lord in the book of Revelation; how fierce and terrible is their Captain as He leads an army with banners. No wonder the world is going to feel the impact of the Bride in this final hour; no wonder the inhabitants of the earth will feel the vibration of the Holy Spirit! The Bride has that direct connection to the Holy Spirit. If God was able to work through one Noah, think how He will be able to work through a vast multitude of Noahs in our day! If God could work through three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace, think how mightily He will be able to work through a million times that number who are willing to walk into today’s fiery furnaces! What fantastic work God can do with a million Daniels today who won’t bow to anything but the God of Heaven!

Look at the Bride—how wonderful and beautiful she is! See her serenity in the face of the world’s jeers and laughter: “So you think you’re going to be raptured, do you? You really think this ark is going to move? You’ve had no time to play. Ever since we’ve known you, you’ve had no time for pleasure. All you’ve done was work on that silly ark. You’re a fanatic! Now your mind is so messed up you’ve finally gotten on board, waiting for heaven knows what! You say the door is about to close—we’ll believe it when we see it.” The Bride is crying today that the miracle door is open to all the inhabitants of the world. Come, soon it will close! In the past God has always had a few moments of mercy and opportunity for safety just before he sent destruction, a few moments to lend to mankind that they might escape the judgments of God. Now He waits patiently as the Bride works to bring in the harvest.

I see the Bride represented in the book of Ruth—how lovely she is! The Bride today with the veil is gleaning in the fields, taking home armfuls on purpose like Ruth of old. Ruth was in love with her Boaz and the Bride is in love with Jesus, her perfect Redeemer. In the secret hours of the night she casts herself at His feet. Through the precious, wonderful blood of Jesus, the Bride has cleansed and purified herself; through His wonderful love and, with the frankincense of His greatness, she has perfumed herself. There she is, humbly at His feet, covered with His robe. All others have been left behind; she belongs to one and one only. She has found the Pearl of Great Price. Her hands are blistered and worn from the toil, but it matters not; she knows her work is almost done. She lives in the strength of Him, not her own. Daily she draws on that strength. Just as that day of gladness came for Ruth, it’s almost here for us. The Law counted Ruth out, but grace took her in. The Law counted us out, too, and grace brought us in. Grace has made it possible for us to be part of the Bride. How wonderful to be in this bridal company that is being made ready through the Holy Ghost!

A very special few already have the veil on; some are on the verge of receiving it and many are going to receive it shortly. All of you can have that veil. In those final few moments before the Rapture, you must have the veil. The finishing touches will be put on you, then the cry will break forth, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him (Matthew 25:6). Just as surely as the heavens furnished that water which began to lift up that ark, the Holy Spirit will furnish the power to lift us up, according to the power that worketh within us. We, in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, will be changed. Higher and higher the ark was lifted in the water, and higher and higher the Holy Spirit is going to raise us until we meet Him. How will it be? No need to worry; we’re standing right now on a platform of miracle power and glory that will elevate us to where He is at the right moment. All Heaven is preparing for that moment, arranging the most elaborate banquet ever made. It’s a fantastic time: looking forward to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, getting ready for the Son of God to leave Heaven. The souls of the saints of God are about to come back to claim a new body. For such a long time the angels have anticipated this moment; at last it’s almost here.

Who is she that cometh forth as the morning? Who is she, fair as the moon and clear as the sun? Who is she who fears neither Lucifer nor demons nor hell itself? She’s the Bride of Christ, the Bride that came from the side of Christ. Just as the rib was taken from Adam and a helpmate given him, while Christ hung on Calvary His side was opened and the church born. The Bride came from Christ: we’re bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh, the Bible tells us.

Do you have the veil? Are you concerned about it; are you planning to wear it in this final hour? Do you plan to have it when that great cry comes forth at the coming of Jesus? You can’t afford to miss it.

The Bride appeared in type and shadow many years ago in the form a maiden called Rebecca. As Rebecca came to draw water from the well, Eliezer (the Holy Spirit) was there seeking a bride for Isaac (Jesus). Sitting by the well, Eliezer saw the fairness and beauty of Rebecca. Who is she coming to the well to draw water? The future bride of Isaac. Who is she, so fair and marvelous that she will accept all the gifts, all the jewelry offered her? She is the Bride. “May I have a drink, could I water my animals here?” Eliezer asks. Rebecca not only gave permission, she offered to draw the water—the Bride in action, the Bride ready to work, the Bride healthy in the Spirit, ready to spend and be spent. The Bride is ready to show love, ready to lend a helping hand. Rebecca’s family asked, “Will you go with this man?” and the Holy Spirit asks the Bride, “Will you go with me in this hour? Will you go to this man called Jesus? The Holy Spirit has been sent to find a Bride for Jesus. Will you go?” If so, He will give you precious gifts: the nine gifts of the Spirit are available to the Bride. Rebecca claimed all the gifts offered to her. Her family received gifts, too, but the best went to Rebecca. In this final hour there will be some Christians who will be as part of the family in receiving, but they will not obtain the gifts reserved for the Bride; they will not be willing to pay the price. So many people today are deceived, thinking that everyone who cries, “Lord, Lord!” will enter in. They think every Christian is going in the Rapture. Had Rebecca resented and rejected the trip with Eliezer and all its preparations, she would not have been the bride. The decision was left entirely up to her, and she declared, “I will go!”

Today, the decision is up to you. Will you go with the Holy Spirit? Rebecca didn’t shrink at the rough journey, the desert sand or the dark valleys. She didn’t complain over the jolting camel ride or argue with Eliezer or draw back over which path to take. Rebecca had complete faith in Eliezer’s knowing the way. She was secure with him and let him take her over the dangers of the day.

Do you have the bridal veil or is the Holy Spirit still removing the spots and wrinkles? Do you feel safe with the Holy Spirit? Know where you are in your preparations. Yield to Him. You cannot get those spots and wrinkles out by yourself; you’ll make them worse. Many have tried to cleanse their own garments and ended up by setting in the stain. One day the Holy Spirit woke me up to the fact that we need not worry about the spots and wrinkles; just yield to Him and He’ll take them out. Yield to Him in this way: you’re welcome to do it, Holy Spirit; I give myself completely into your hands. At your bidding I will do anything you say, move when you direct, speak when and what you desire. I will yield completely to you to do the whole will of God. Give me your messages and don’t hold them back. If I’m not strong enough to take them, I shall fast until that strength is there. I shall lie humbly at the feet of Jesus until there is enough love and strength of God, enough of His Word on my lips and hidden in my heart until I can arise to face any situation. Come, Holy Spirit, spare me nothing! Let me go ever forward for Jesus. Just give me clear spiritual vision all the way. Only the view straight ahead is important—vision to see ahead. Let not my ears hear the voices in back or to the right and left, but let my ears hear that voice which beckons on, the Holy Spirit guiding, directing me in this path. I will not worry where my feet tread, for on the straight path they will land firmly on the promises of God. The Bible says that a good man’s steps are directed by the Lord. The Holy Spirit will direct your steps when you give yourself completely to Him.

See the Bride with her veil; she’s been in the fiery furnace. Why? Because she wouldn’t bow or bend. Now she’s come forth, unburnt, from that furnace. The world wonders how she survived, how she made it through. Triumph came because she was clothed in miracle power. The world looks at those living the victorious life in Jesus, those who have sold and given all to follow Him; and the world wonders how they can meet the problems of this life. How can they have such serenity and peace of mind? They have it because they have forsaken all to follow the Lord; nothing counts but just to follow His footsteps. Your strength is found through Him by the Holy Spirit. “He loves me, I love Him. He loves me, I am His beloved!” Read it in the Song of Solomon, the communion between the Bride and her Groom, that marvelous closeness between you and Jesus. The messages are going forth faster and faster, messages between Jesus and His Bride sent through the Holy Spirit. Only through the Holy Spirit can you have those messages; only through the Holy Spirit can you hear daily from Heaven. Every day brings you closer and closer to that go-home time; things are moving with increasing speed daily.

I remember when my wife, Angel, and I were going to be married. I had just finished school, gone out into evangelistic work; and she was in another state. The closer the wedding, the more the excitement grew. Letter after letter came daily. She had to have that letter of love every day; I had to have that every day touch. Hour after hour we poured out our love through the pen: I love you, it won’t be long now. We counted the days, then the hours. Finally that moment arrived; Angel came down the aisle. My heart leaped within me; I didn’t know she was so beautiful! How lovely she was—my bride, all mine! Every eye was upon her. There is something about a bride that is irresistible. Why? We are going to be part of the Bride of Christ. You may have known a girl all your life, but on her wedding day she looks different. A bride always looks beautiful, shiny eyed and radiant. That love for the groom glows out of her eyes. The aisle she walks down seems almost too long; she wants only to run the short distance and be in his arms.

That’s similar to the way you will feel when you meet Jesus. You won’t care about anything but Him, to look on His face and behold the love in His eyes for you. He is all yours, and you are all His. Hug Him close; hold His hand. Feel the greatness of His love; know what it means to give yourself completely to Him. He gives you all His love, His joy, His peace and His strength. He gives you all of Him. You belong completely to Him. Say in your heart, “I belong to Jesus, I am His!” At night fall asleep saying, “He is mine, mine, mine!” Jesus is the greatest possession God ever gave you. Feel the thrill and elation of saying, “Jesus is mine!” When you wake in the night, have that marvelous sureness that Jesus is yours. He took you by choice. His attention is on you; His thoughts are on you, and He feels your heartbeat. In this final hour we have a great claim on Him as we help to make up the bridal company. It won’t be long now until the wedding. You are the apple of His eye, you are His love. He has set His love upon you, redeemed you from the world. He spilled His precious blood at Calvary to redeem you. You’re blood-washed, blood-bought. Because of Him, you wear the beautiful, pure white bridal gown. Cleansed and purified through His blood, you have had your sins cast into the sea of forgetfulness. Because of Him, you can stand before God in a state of holiness.

The Bride has come up out of the den of lions. My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths (Daniel 6:22). The Bride with the veil is no longer afraid. “Mark this down, ye kings of the earth,” she is saying, “My God sent His angel!” The Bride believes in angels; they minister to her in this final hour. She has seen the Fourth Man, Jesus, in the furnace of her affliction. He’s the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star. He’s her source of strength and help, her bread, her shepherd, the healer. The Bride knows who He is. Again and again He has come to her rescue. Through the eyes of the Holy Spirit, she has beheld Him. “He is here, He has come,” the Holy Spirit whispers in her heart, “Behold the Fourth Man!”

How delighted we are in Him; we find no fault in Him. Behold His glory, His strength and love upon you. Feel the drawing of Him, hurrying you on. “Draw on me with thy power,” is the cry, “and I shall run after thee.” The Lord is moving faster now than ever before, and in order to keep up, we, too, are running faster, our last mile home. See the lights of home just ahead. Hear the heavenly music, you’re almost there. Feel the touch of His hand, the breath of His love upon your face. The clouds that come between you and Jesus now are miracle clouds. More and more miracle clouds are surrounding you. In this final hour, the Lord is wrapping Himself in the miracle cloud the way He did for the Israelites. He is appearing in that cloud and revealing that cloud to this humble servant. I see the people walk into that cloud of Him, Jesus of Nazareth, the Healer and coming King; and the people are made every whit whole. No wonder people become helpless before that power! He is enclosing Himself in the pillar of fire of the Holy Spirit. Look up, redemption draweth nigh; look it’s almost time!

If your’re not wearing the veil, don’t give up in despair; there’s yet time. Some people will get it in the last few seconds before the Rapture: the veil will be thrown over them and the spots taken out.

Tell the Holy Spirit: I yield myself to you the way Esther of old gave herself into the hands of another saying, “Give me whatever you want me to have to go in before the king. I will dress the way you want.” Esther was yielding and she won favor. Search the Scriptures secure in the fact that the Holy Spirit knows what Jesus wants; let the Holy Spirit get you ready. Please Jesus in every way. Walk those extra miles, spending more time with Him. Expect daily blessings, not a blessing just now and then. Hold His hand through the Holy Spirit; feel the nail prints in His hands to give you strength to suffer that which you must go through. Associate yourself with His sufferings the way the Apostle Paul did. Experience the power of the Resurrection as you walk hand in hand with Him through the Holy Spirit. Again I say, only through the Holy Spirit can you hold His hands today; only through the Holy Spirit can you feel the nail prints in His hands. One day it will no longer be through the Holy Spirit; Jesus will be yours directly. The Bride will reach out by herself, put her hand in His and say, “I take this One to be mine!“ The Marriage Supper of the Lamb will be marvelous, but the greatest part is in being totally His without that separation of flesh. Eternity lies ahead with the love of Jesus poured into your ears day and night. You’ll tell Jesus of your love, thank Him for being with you in the den of lions and fiery furnace.

No one ever had a touch, a presence like His! When you love someone, their spirit feels different to you than anyone else’s. Angel’s spirit was different, she had a touch like no one else I had ever met. Never under the sun has there been a woman who had for me a touch like Angel’s. That love touch was one that could never be weighed, but the love from Him is so much greater. That love of Him possesses me day and night, takes over my mind. Nothing could take the place of Angel’s love. When the Lord took her home, He had to move in to me completely to possess me, so that that horrible vacuum could be filled with His love, His Holy Spirit and power. He told me, “You’re mine, all mine.” I found myself saying in return, “I’m all yours, Lord. I’ll do anything you want: climb the highest mountain, breathe as you want, think as you will. I give you my mind completely. My eyes are yours to reveal heavenly scenes or things of the earth. I give my hands to use as though they were your very own.” When you come to the place you can give yourself completely to the Lord, it is easy for Him to give Himself completely to you. So many are trying to possess the Lord without first allowing Him to possess them. It doesn’t work that way. Be so yielded to His touch that earth will fade out and His glory will lift you up to sit in heavenly places. Hear the voice of the Lord declaring the end of this hour, the end of this age. How glorious to know Him, to wear the veil of the Bride! So many of you are moving forward, coming into His greatness. God’s miracle hand is upon you, drawing you; and you’re running after Him. Hide yourself away in the closet of consecration; yield completely to Him. Do not struggle—just tell Him of your love. Enter into His garden, perfumed with His love and scented with the fragrance of Him. You needn’t talk all the time; there is an understanding there. I would get just one glimpse of Angel and there would be understanding. I could be preaching and out of the corner of my eye I would see Angel, sitting with her lips moving in prayer and a reassurance came. I knew she had hold of the hand of Jesus. She had hold of my hand and was drawing us together saying, “Lord, give my husband what the people need. Lord, lift him into the realm of your miraculous power.” How I have missed that pull! Since she has been gone, all my contacts with Him had to be direct, and so He moved in. Not looking to the left or right, but straight ahead I must go. Lose sight of everything but Jesus.

Look at the Bride with the veil in this day and hear her say, “I am now ready to be offered. The time of my departure is at hand. I have finished my course, completed my work!” Again see the Bride with the veil as the stones are falling upon her. But the Bride, in the form of a man called Stephen, cries, “I see Jesus!” What matter the stones when you wear the veil of Christ? The destruction, the despair around you fades out when you see Jesus. He buffers the hurts, He strengthens the weaknesses until it seems they are no longer there. How marvelous to see Him! The Bride with the veil is seeing Him, only Him. Jesus fills her thoughts; the wedding day is almost here. The night has been such a long one, and the Bride grows restless. She has perfumed her life; she is ready for Him and listening for His knock. At dawn He will come. Anxiously she awaits.

Who is she? The world looks upon the Bride and wonders. Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners? Who is she who fears neither demons, devils nor mankind? Who is she who doesn’t tremble at this end-time hour? Look at her in the form of Simon saying, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk (Acts 3:6). The Bride with the veil is drawing not only for herself, but for others. She has much to give because Jesus is giving her so much. He is loading her down with gifts more precious than silver and gold.

Look at her in person! Is she afraid? No. In the form of Simon she sleeps with peace and serenity; the world does not understand. Tomorrow her execution has been set, but the angel of the Lord, the Holy Spirit, enters that prison and brings her forth.

Again, see her in the form of Paul and Silas. She has cast demons out of a girl. There’s a great price to pay when demons are cast out, and the Bride paid: look at the stripes on their backs. Not even an animal should be treated like that. Look again: the jail is beginning to reel and rock through her sufferings, through her consecration. That bridal veil is one which has separated her from all others, and then came the earthquake of power. With that veil upon us in this final hour, the earthquake of power will be so mighty, saith the Lord, that all the inhabitants of the earth will know that God is moving upon the face of the earth. And people will behold the glory of God and many will be brought to righteousness, saith the Lord. The Bride will rejoice and be glad, and her strength will be mighty. The love of the Groom will be upon her, and she will ever march onward to victory until she is taken out, saith the Spirit.

Oh, the Holy Spirit looks upon her and declares, “Here she is! Here she is! She is wonderful, like the breath of morning, fair as the moon. She is yielded to me,” the Holy Spirit is saying, “she took my instructions and there are no spots or wrinkles on her. I have adorned her with His gifts that He sent.” On that day when Christ lifts the veil and the Bride looks into His eyes for the first time, she will remember for all eternity His kiss of love.

A few more days, a few more restless nights until we live through that final night alone without Him. Tossing to and fro we wonder, “How much longer?” Then suddenly comes that glorious, miraculous dawn. To be part of the Bride in her veil is to be treasured more than all the gold and riches of earth. Young, old alike must seek it, find it and hold it tightly to them. Through the Holy Spirit you will find the bridal veil; it will be placed upon you. He will do it, not you. Only the Holy Spirit can be trusted for such a marvelous task; only the Holy Spirit can place that veil upon you. His love is upon you, and He is flowing Himself out to you like mighty rivers. His peace and the gladness of Heaven He offers you. Wear His veil; let the Holy Spirit prepare you and then on that morning, beautiful beyond belief, you will be changed in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye. Glorified and changed, you will dwell with Him forever more.
