The power of God works, not outside us, but within our souls. The soul came from God. Jesus said, Behold, the kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21). There is no limit to the Kingdom of God, and there is no limit to how much of God the soul can hold; rivers of living water flow from it. Although the capacity of the soul is unlimited, that does not hold true for the mind. Because the mind is limited, it needs a reservoir to draw from. The soul is the reservoir for the mind, holding all that comes with salvation, all the Godhead, all the greatness of God.

Ephesians 3:20, Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. The limitation of the mind is revealed in this verse; God can do abundantly above all that we think. Let the Holy Spirit flow the greatness of God from your soul into your mind so you can serve others the abundance that comes from God.

You serve from what is in your mind. If you let gossip be planted in your mind, you serve idle talk instead of the things of God in your soul. Be careful what you listen to, or you may find your mind so full of unimportant matters that you have no room for the abundance that the Holy Spirit seeks to flow into your mind. In the book of Revelation, chapters two and three, the Lord said seven times, He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Hear what the Spirit is saying instead of listening to people.

Some born-again Christians rob themselves—and rob God—by not listening to the Holy Spirit. The greatness of God is in the reservoir of the soul, and in the soul it stays. The soul is pure and clean, but the mind is cluttered with rumors, with untruths, half-truths, and will not allow God’s greatness to flow into it. The Spirit of Truth is trying to flush the mind with living water, but the mind is so full of idle talk that it has no room for Him. Watch your cup, make sure it is pure and clean all the time. The mind can have cleansing whenever it needs, but the person must want it cleansed.

To be just like Jesus, to have the fullness of Christ dwelling within is the cry of the Bride. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13). The Lord wants the Bride to stand as tall, be as strong as Jesus, have the same kind of love and carry the same message, to walk in love in perfection and serve that love to a lost and dying world.

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine (Ephesians 4:14). Unless you totally yield to the Spirit of Truth, you will be tossed around to and fro with various false doctrines. Many false doctrines today are blowing into the house of God among God’s people. Jesus said of these last days, And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved (Matthew 24:11-13). Take what you hear to the Word of God and see if it stands the Word test. Any opinions, any thoughts you have, take to the Bible, find out if they are in harmony with the Word. If not, throw them out.

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ (Ephesians 4:15). Some people may speak the truth, but not in love. If you don’t speak in love, the Holy Spirit can’t use it. Speak truth in love, truth caressed by the pure love of God in your soul. He is the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you (John 14:17). Be ready to use the truth when the Holy Spirit flows it to your mind. The truth cannot be prepared in your mind; it must be prepared before it gets there, and the mind must be prepared to accept it. When the Holy Spirit flows the truth into your mind, it’s time to serve truth. He wants to pour the mind cup full, and it’s your business to have the cup ready to receive.

Put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts (Ephesians 4:22). Do you talk like a new creation? Do you use the language of Heaven, a language pure, holy with nothing shady or unclean in it? If you are holy, your conversation is holy, and you move away from the wrong conversation at once. With the love and faith of God you close your ears whenever you hear the devil’s nasty talk.

Be renewed in the spirit of your mind (Ephesians 4:23). The mind becomes tired, weary, but the living water flowing in your soul can give life to your mind. The life in your soul is not sufficient for your mind unless you let the Holy Ghost—and He is the only one—flow that life from your soul to your mind. He is there as your helper, your teacher, your guide. You must have Him.

Jesus commanded His disciples to receive the Holy Ghost: And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence (Acts 1:4,5). If you expect to be Jesus’ disciple, receiving the Holy Ghost is not an option; it is a commandment. Don’t stop at Calvary, but go on to the Upper Room; be baptized in the Holy Ghost as the faithful followers of Jesus were on the Day of Pentecost.

Keep your mind cup open to the Lord that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word (Ephesians 5:26). The Lord wants your mind to be kept sanctified, washed out, clean so that He can pour Himself into it at any time. The mind, remember, is limited in how much it can hold; be careful what you allow into it. The purity of God will not mix with the unclean things of the devil and people. God will not pour His holy thoughts into your cup unless your cup is cleansed and holy.

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water (Hebrews 10:22). Our bodies and minds need to be washed with the pure water of life: the Word of God, eternal life flowing. By the Word of God the just will live, by faith in the Word. As it is written, The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17).

Watch your mind cup; keep it in condition to be flushed. A flush is a sudden flow of water—in this case, living water for the mind. The water of life bubbling into life everlasting can gush forth from the soul like rivers. There is plenty of living water to flush your mind cup any time. Never allow a contaminated cup, not one speck of contamination in the cup. The Holy Spirit is waiting for the opportunity to flush out the mind cup. He cannot flush it out unless you are willing for it to be flushed; the choice is yours. You can hold on to the wrong thoughts or you can let them go. Anytime you have unclean thoughts coming to you that you want to be rid of, let the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth take over and flush the cup with living water. In living water is love, joy, peace, excitement, hope and all kinds of greatness. Real life is in the living water, so much life that because of it we will live for all eternity.

Neither give place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27). When you let any contamination linger in your mind cup, you are giving place to the devil. Some people are tormented in their minds because they give place to the devil, and they carry worry, depression, fear and despair.

The holy blessings of God come in His love and faith. God doesn’t give fear: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7). Fear can be flushed out with God’s love, with the Spirit of Truth. The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us (Romans 5:5). The Holy Spirit flushes out all the fear from the mind and sheds abroad love. Fear leaves through the love of God.

God has great overcoming power for you, but you must let it operate at all times. When it is not operating, you don’t have the peace and joy the Lord wants you to have. When it operates, you are living in spiritual Canaan, enjoying the nine fruits of the Spirit.

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30). The Holy Ghost is here to be your companion, to live inside you, to comfort, teach and guide you. To grieve such a holy one is tragic! You should be making Him happy, not grieving Him. He wants to be happy, and He will be if you obey God all the time. He tries to feed your mind, but if that mind is not in shape to receive, He is blocked. The cup isn’t ready, isn’t clean. If the cup were purified, cleansed, flushed out with living water, the Holy Ghost would flow into it all the great things needed, all the strength for the day, all the peace, love, hope, knowledge, wisdom.

The Holy Spirit will make your mind to overflow with the goodness of God as long as you don’t let other things crowd in. Sometimes problems in your family can fill your mind, excluding the things of God. You worry and fret about them. Loved ones may be cruel to you, talk against God. Your mind is so caught up in what they say and do that the Holy Spirit can’t flow life to you. You have the new and living life to live; it’s in your soul. Now let it be in your mind, too, as you drop the hurt and reach to Him to flush your mind with His love, peace and joy.

Jesus brought abundant life for us. Too many of God’s people live far beneath that privilege. It’s time for God’s people to move up, to bless the Lord. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:2-5). Jesus did bring a new and living way, a new and living life. Decide that it is all yours; enjoy it.

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice (Ephesians 4:31). You cannot have any bitterness in your mind cup and expect it to be filled with the greatness of God. You cannot have clamor and fussing in the home or outside the home. Give your children love and Bible discipline.

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath (Ephesians 4:26). If you become angry, you are not supposed to close your eyes—it’s dangerous, saith the Lord, to close your eyes with anger in your heart. Going to bed with anger, bitterness, evil speaking, you will arise the next morning ready to wage war against the wrong thing. If you go to sleep with problems on your mind that the devil can churn up and down to distress your sleep, he will do it. You will wake tired and troubled the next morning. But if you let the Holy Spirit flush out the anger, the cup is clean when you go to sleep and the Holy Spirit can fill that cup. He knows exactly what you need. In the morning when you wake, your cup is filled with the greatness and grace of the Lord. His grace is sufficient.

The devil is the one to battle, and you only do that with the blood of Jesus and in the power of the Holy Ghost. Learn how to go to bed. When you don’t know how to go to bed, you don’t know how to get up the right way. Has anyone ever told you that you got up on the wrong side of the bed? It wasn’t the bed that was the problem; it was the mind. The mind had not been washed out, purified before you went to bed. As soon as you give your mind over to the Holy Ghost, He is there to flush out all that has come against you during the day. Get rid of that mind battle.

You coffee drinkers expect to have a clean coffee cup in the morning. You need to be at work at a certain time, and you have coffee percolating. But suppose as you are about to pour the coffee you found a roach in your cup. Would you go ahead and pour coffee on the roach and then drink the coffee? No, you first would clean out the cup. Why treat your mind less carefully than you would treat a cup of coffee? You want the Holy Spirit to pour something better than coffee into your mind, but He can’t because your mind has contamination in it—leeches, spirits of the devil, which are much worse than a roach in your coffee cup. Spirits of the devil in your mind keep God from moving in. No matter what someone has done to you, if you let the Holy Spirit flow living water into your cup, He will wash out the hurt and fill your cup with love. Love is the healing balm. His love is miraculous.

And walk in love (Ephesians 5:2). How can you walk in love without a mind of love? The Lord seeks to give us minds of love. When the Lord is able to cleanse you of all sin through the blood so that the living water can flow into your soul, you are filled to the brim with love. Your cup runneth over. The day you received salvation, were really born new, you loved everyone, even your enemies. As long as you stay saved, you still love everyone. But if you lose your salvation—even though you may think you are saved—you lose that love. Other things replace it, things not of God. Selfishness, bitterness, anger, hatred come in. These traits belong to the devil; how can you be saved when you take on characteristics that belong to him?

The Bible tells us to be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour (I Peter 5:8). Have a sober mind, not a drunken one; have a mind that can be reasoned with. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord (Isaiah 1:18). A mind that will reason with God is very precious to Him.

For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth (Ephesians 5:9). You have eternal life within when you are born again, and the Holy Spirit produces fruit. The Holy Spirit feeds you the fruit of the Spirit; He produces it right in your soul. The nine fruits of the Spirit give us beautiful life. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance (Galatians 5:22,23).

How much better it is to have the goodness of God filling your cup than to have it filled with the darkness of the world and the devil! Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11). Darkness and the light of God have nothing in common; they will not mix. When darkness comes, the light of God leaves. Light comes; darkness flees, and so it is spiritually speaking. The Holy Spirit wants to wash out the mind so that He can put in His light.

No darkness will be in eternity for the children of God. In that eternal life we will have nothing but light. You cannot fellowship with darkness and the things that belong to darkness—the seventeen works of the flesh—and still be a part of God’s Kingdom. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like (Galatians 5:19-21). You have no place in His Kingdom if you participate in any one of those seventeen works of the flesh. The Bible is strict, the road to Heaven narrow.

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is (Ephesians 5:17). When the mind is flushed out as many times as it needs to be and kept clean so it can be filled to overflowing with the things of God, you will know what the mind of the Lord is for you. Step by step it will be given. Live holy, stay close to God, keep in His Word, please Him and He will open up any door He wants you to go through. Why should you worry about the doors? He will open them. They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

Be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18). Be filled with the Spirit of Truth and you will have the spirit of the love, joy, goodness, mercy of Him; you will have the Lord’s Spirit add nothing less. When the mind is right, you are speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19).

Glorify the Lord at all times and make melody to Him in your heart. Sing, rejoice, praise God; let your cup be a praise cup. Keep it filled with praise to the Lord. But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel (Psalm 22:3). Not only does God inhabit the praises of Israel, He inhabits the praises of all who are born again. When you praise God from your heart, and your mind is pure and clean, the Lord comes down to inhabit that praise, to live in it.

For our conversation is in heaven (Philippians 3:20). What you talk about on Earth should be just as clean as what you will talk about in Heaven. I’ve heard the conversations of people who were supposed to be Christian, but their conversations weren’t the kind that would be allowed in Heaven. Grumbling, complaining and criticizing are not to be included in the Christian’s talk. The people living in Canaan rejoice in the blessings of God.

How grievous it can be to hear people speaking to you in an unpleasant tone, with a belittling attitude, a quarrelsome manner! Yet by the way you speak in your mind, you can hurt the Lord, grieve His Holy Spirit. You speak with the wrong kind of music. Finding fault, you do not speak with praise.

God hates that faultfinding spirit; in fact, it’s an insult to the Holy Spirit. You render Him helpless to move for you. He waits for you to come out of that spirit. He would flush your mind, but He can’t because you want to fault-find.

God made it possible for you to have a blood bath, to be made whole, cleansed from all sin. He then made it possible for the Holy Ghost to descend from Heaven and tabernacle in your house of clay, to move in and dwell forever with you as long as you are in the body—but you have closed the doors if what you carry in your mind is incompatible with Him.

Listening to the wrong kind of music can contaminate your entire home. There is no such thing as “Christian” rock; it’s the deceit of the devil. When I left the world, I left its music. Had I not left the devil’s music behind, I would have been in big trouble. It was the kind of music that had been accustomed to living in my bones, in my spirit, in my soul and mind. When my soul was cleansed by the blood of the Lamb, the living water went gushing forth into my mind. I was made completely new, and I began living in the new and living way. My mind suddenly wanted the Word of God, not the music of the world. I would speak to myself through the Word.

The devil has deceived some of God’s people; he fills their minds with depression, oppression, despair, and heartache. Unhappy, they lack strength to fight the devil. God’s people are to have strength. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). The armor of God is for your mind. The armor is in your soul when you are born again, but unless you let the Holy Spirit make that armor real to your mind, you will not put it on. Faith is in your soul, but the shield of faith is the part of the armor that you must hold in your hand. A holy hand, a holy mind will hold up that shield of faith, and it must be held to keep your faith working; working faith stops the fiery darts of the enemy. Have faith in God; raise up His faith.

If you do not use that shield of faith, the devil shoots his poisonous darts into your mind every waking hour. Spiritually speaking, you are feeble when you don’t use the shield of faith; you feel as though life is not worthwhile. But you have been given the armor of God, I say again; it’s in your soul. Take time each morning to put on the whole armor of God in your mind, and then pick up that shield of faith. The Word of God is your safety; carry it with you and use it.

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit (Ephesians 6:18). Some people think this means you must always pray in tongues, but this isn’t what the Lord is talking about. You pray in the love and truth of the Spirit. You pray in goodness and mercy. Many pray in tongues at will; this is not of the Lord. At best, praying in tongues at will is of the flesh. At worst, it is under control of the devil.

The Bible clearly tells us that those who received the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4). The Holy Spirit is the one who did the speaking. He is still the one who is to do the speaking today, using the vocal organs, tongues and lips of yielded born-again Christians.

The Holy Spirit prays through me in other languages and dialects; He does it. I pray in the spirit of His love and truth in English until the Holy Ghost wants to take over. Some people call speaking in tongues at will the prayer tongue. It is not of God, I say again, not the Holy Ghost speaking. This is their speaking. If someone tells you he can pray in tongues anytime he wants to, that should let you know that he is the one praying and not the Holy Ghost. If you can do it yourself, it is not the Holy Ghost speaking through you; it is you—or else the devil.

Speaking in tongues at will is one thing the devil is using to try to destroy the great move of the Spirit of God today, but he won’t be able to do it. We read in the Bible that in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh (Acts 2:17). The Lord is brushing those people aside as He pours out His true Holy Spirit.

Some years ago people claimed there was a great move of the Holy Spirit, but many were speaking in tongues at will, smoking, dancing, living like the world, giving personal prophecies that were not of God. It was not the move of the real Holy Ghost. That ill wind is still blowing today; it doesn’t bring revival; it doesn’t bring souls to the Lord. Anyone who claims to have the Holy Spirit and does not live holy, simply does not have Him. Your body is to be the temple of the Holy Ghost; He lives on the inside when you are really baptized in the Holy Ghost and living free from all sin, living the holy life, holy as God Himself. Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy (I Peter 1:16).

Don’t carry the past in your mind cup. When the Holy Spirit fills your mind cup, He fills it in the present, right now. How can the Holy Spirit fill your cup today if it is already filled with yesterday? Jesus said, No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God (Luke 9:62). Many look back to the past rather than going on with the Lord. Lot’s wife looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt. You may not turn into salt by looking back, but you can turn into a mountain of despair, depression and bitterness. Filled with sadness, you could have been filled with the joy of the Lord. Paul said, But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13,14).

How much of the past have you forgotten? How much depression have you used instead of using the good things the Lord has placed in your soul? Looking back to pure joy, to a blessing of the Lord, is not the kind of looking back the Bible is talking about. Looking back the right way is praising God for your blessings, keeping them in your spirit, remembering what the Lord hath done. But if you have been looking back to the hurts and bad experiences, stop it. Paul was always pressing toward the good things, the blessings of God, reaching out to God. Do you reach out to people instead of to God? Many times when you reach to people it’s about the same as reaching to the devil.

Reach for the good things, the blessings, the promises of God. Greater blessings of God are not behind you; they are right there with you. God has delivered them to you, but some of you won’t accept the delivery. You don’t believe His blessings will last; you doubt they are real. Why not accept them, use them and see that they work?

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice (Philippians 4:4). How can you rejoice all the time in the Lord when you grumble and complain? A grumbling spirit has never rejoiced in the Lord. The times you have complained, were you rejoicing in the Lord? Have you been bathing in self-pity, criticism, in what the devil has spewed out to you? The Bible tells us to stand fast in the Lord (Philippians 4:1). How can you stand fast in the Lord with a mind cup so contaminated that the Spirit of Truth can serve you only once in a great while? Almost accidentally He gets to wash out your mind with the living water so that He can pour in the good things.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (Philippians 4:6). Be careful—anxious—about nothing; trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do you worry about everything? Look into your mind and discover how much worry and fretting you find there. Have you carried any worry in your mind today?

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5,6). But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). My God will do it! You rejoice in the promises of God, but do you use them? Do you read the promises in the Word of God? Do you really think you have nothing to fear, nothing to worry about when you have God’s promises ready to go into action for you? Cover your problems with the promise of God. Do all you know to do and then let the Lord work. The Lord can’t work with worry and fretting; it hinders Him, ties His hands for you.

Paul said, I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content (Philippians 4:11). A contented mind is wonderful. When you know you are in the will of God, that you are being persecuted for the sake of Christ, then know that you are blessed. Jesus said, Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven (Matthew 5:11,12). Rejoice in the words of Jesus and have a contented mind.

Paul said, I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound (Philippians 4:12). Some people know how to abound, but seem to have no idea how to react when they are abased. If things go wrong, they blame God. The devil has contaminated their minds; they allowed him to feed their minds the wrong things. They may not have backslidden, but the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Truth, cannot flow the truth into their minds because their cups are filled with clutter. God is unable to give them the help they need.

I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need (Philippians 4:12). Some have never learned to suffer need; being needy strips them of all the love of God. Hungry, out of food, they listen to the devil who says that the Lord has forgotten them. But Paul learned the secret of overcoming when he wrote: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13). When he said he could do all, he left nothing out.

The Lord can’t pour anything good into a mind cup that is contaminated with doubt, a mind that has stopped trusting the Lord. He works through your mind, and when your mind won’t function with the wisdom and knowledge of God, He cannot help you. In that condition you don’t do any more work for God than a dead person.

If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body (James 3:2). Until you bridle the tongue with love, you can’t bridle the body. As long as the mind runs wild, the body is dragged along with it. Spewing out hatred, lies, gossip and things unlike God, your body is damned just like your mind.

To not offend in word, you must have the love of God gushing forth daily into a mind cup washed and kept clean. Again and again the mind must be sterilized so that more and more of God’s love can be shed abroad in it. Move deeper into His love, and move in a hurry.

The mind and self can become active breeding places for the devil. He will torture and worry to death everyone he can. Some Christians are bound with worry; the cup is filled with the wrong things, and God can’t get through to them. That’s not the will of God. All they need do is get rid of that which blocks God. Someone could tell them how to get rid of those blocks, but they close up, saying, You don’t understand. You don’t know.

The mind was meant to work in perfection with God’s love, God’s truth. But it can’t work that way unless the Spirit of Truth is there. The mind came from God, and it needs to stay connected with God’s mind in order for it to operate correctly. When man’s mind is turned away from God, it operates any way it wants, any way but the right way. If you don’t understand about your mind, then shut everything down, stay before God, fast and pray until you do understand. You must have an understanding mind. If you don’t understand others, check your mind. If you have the understanding mind of the Holy Spirit, you always depend on Him, always let Him help you.

What a battlefield the mind becomes when the enemy is able to pour into it what he wants! He causes chaos, makes the person feel as though bombs were exploding in the mind all the time. The devil pounds the minds of some Christians; but he can’t pound the soul, for the blood is there. The soul of a born-again Christian is sealed with the blood of Jesus, a seal the devil can never break. Only that person can break the seal by committing willful sin.

If the devil bombards your mind with his abuse, you can stop it with the blood in your soul, the power of the greatness of the Lord Jesus Christ. When you are born again, you have the whole Jesus, not a part; you have all the Holy Ghost, all of God, eternal life in your soul. Free your mind of clutter and let the Holy Spirit gush forth that water of life from your soul and wash your cup.

It is more important to have your mind cleaned than to have your car cleaned. Some people spend hours shining up their cars, but their minds are in turmoil. They throw themselves into tasks hoping that being busy will take their minds off their troubles. They don’t need diversions; they need to be rid of the mental battles. Get the restlessness out of your spirit, out of your mind. Don’t yield to the worry; yield to the things of God. It sounds simple, and it is simple.

You know what it means to wash your hands; the mind must be washed out, too. When the soul is clean, the mind should be clean, also. You may have many different kinds of soaps and detergents in your home, but you haven’t found anything that will remove all stains. We, however, have an ingredient that will cure all. It needs no substitute, no additive: It’s the flow of eternal truth, eternal water of life gushing up like mighty rivers on the inside of us. Flowing all the contamination away, all the dirt, the living water sterilizes the cup, and the Holy Spirit delights in filling the cup. Then you cry, My cup runneth over!

You take time to cleanse the cup you drink from; this is good, but it is better to have a mind cleansed of contamination. It is better to have your mind flushed than to have your clothes washed. Christian martyrs shut away in prison awaiting death were unwashed on the outside, but their minds were pure and clean. They sang, praised God and rejoiced until the last breath was gone. For the sake of Christ they were killed, but they kept the faith of Jesus.

Because Stephen was full of the Holy Ghost, the Holy Ghost was able to freely flow liberty, freedom and everything good into his mind. As the stones were falling on Stephen, he rejoiced in seeing the Lord. The first martyr, Stephen died a victorious death. Why? Because he knew how to yield to the Lord, not just his soul but also his mind.

The Lord looks on the spiritual. He sees the contamination of the enemy, and He sees the cleaness of the mind that is free to yield to His Holy Spirit. The flow of the power of truth kills everything like the devil. The truth, God’s truth is meant to be in your mind at all times. Jesus said, Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). Know the truth and you will be free. All you have to do is learn the truth of God and watch your cup—guard it—so that God’s powerful truth can flow.

Watch your mind cup, saith the Lord. Your mind is more valuable to you than you know, more valuable to you that all the silver and gold in the world. Without your mind, silver and gold would mean nothing.

Are you having trouble accepting the promises of God? Then let your mind be washed out. Remember, everyone who has salvation has living water in his soul. If you are not saved, however, you don’t have that living water to wash your mind. The first thing to do is receive Jesus into your heart; get your soul cleaned up at Calvary. Sinner, your soul is your most important possession. It must be blood-washed, blood-sealed; and then all the greatness of God, all Heaven will come down to inhabit that soul. With the living water in your soul, your mind can be flushed, sterilized and kept clean. I say again, there is no limit to the capacity of the soul. It can hold all Heaven, all the greatness of the Godhead. You won’t have to worry about the mind cup as long as you stay yielded to the Spirit of Truth that uncovers, cleanses, delivers all hindrances. Do you want to be delivered? If so, let me pray the sinners’ prayer with you now: Oh, God, save my soul! I am so sorry that I sinned against you, but I have come home. Now I’m going to serve you the rest of my life. I believe in the blood of Jesus, and I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all my sins! Come into my heart, Jesus! Come in!

You who need a miracle or healing, get ready for a miracle. Get ready for a healing. You who have cancer, heart trouble, diabetes, you who have had a stroke, or some other affliction, know that you can have a miracle. Jesus said, All things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23). Lord, I bring the sick and afflicted to you. You never turned anyone away when you were here on Earth, Jesus, and you won’t turn honest hearts away now. I curse the foul diseases in their bodies, the foul afflictions. In the name of Jesus, I curse them, and in the name of Jesus from your supernatural gift of miracles and your supernatural gifts of healing it comes through the power of the Holy Ghost: Heal! Heal! in the holy name of Jesus! The healing power is flowing. Don’t you feel His holy presence? That’s what healed me so many years ago, made me well, and it can make you well, too. Watch all signs of improvement; watch yourself get well, and give Him all the praise, the honor and the glory.

The Lord loves you; He wants you to understand Him. He doesn’t want to be a mystery to His devout, holy people in this last hour. He is pulling back the veil for you to see, to understand. Jesus destroyed the veil that covered the Word of God. A veil had been over the greatness of God, the works and ways of Him under the Law, but through Jesus Christ, the veil in the temple was torn from top to bottom while He was dying on Calvary. It signified that God had come down.

Your cup can be filled and refilled many times a day so you can serve others God’s eternal life, eternal peace, eternal joy, wisdom, knowledge, greatness and understanding. In all the grace of your Lord, you will diligently watch your mind cup. With the dignity of the great I-Am, walk among men, women, boys and girls to light their paths, showing them the road to Calvary, saith the Lord, in this hour of His greatness.
