God is ready to clear up many mysteries concerning Himself. When you find why God worked the way He did on Earth, why He worked the way He did with man in the beginning, you will know His great, great love and power. God wants people to understand Him in this last hour, to know Him. Everyone who knows God loves and desires Him. As we look to God in all His greatness, He will move. That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world (Matthew 13:35).

God Trusted Man

Why did God not know man would sin and destroy the happiness He meant for man to have? God trusted man; He didn’t want to know what man would do. Had He looked into the future of Adam and Eve, realized they were going to sin, He would have been to blame for creating souls that would sin. God has power to know and power to not know. He doesn’t remember our sins once He has forgiven us, or hold them against us. God can blot out whatever He wants to blot out.

The devil got into man, robbing him, and for many years man has walked with the devil and blamed God for that walk. People still find it easy to blame God. Even God’s children blame Him if they don’t get healed, if He doesn’t work the way they think He should. Misfortunes come that God had nothing to do with, yet He is blamed. God loves His children; He is all love to the righteous and is not to blame for evil.

Many have been confused, blaming God for the sins of the world. When you face the truth concerning God, you find God is not to be blamed for any of the wrong on planet Earth.

Sin is to blame for all sorrows.
If you have no hope for tomorrow,
Sin is to blame.
If you have no hope for tomorrow,
Sin is to blame for it all.
See yonder a young man,
In prison he dwells.
Sin is to blame.
On tomorrow that young man
Will be killed.
Sin is to blame for it all.

Life on Earth before Adam and Eve

This series on the mysteries of God opened with the first verse in the Bible: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth (Genesis 1:1). There is a space of time between this statement and the second verse in Genesis, one of possible millions of years. God tells us the things that will help us and bless us. It would not bless us to know how many millions of years the earth lay void and without form, dark with no lights in the heavens. Scientists tell us that the earth is millions of years old. Skeptics use this fact to disprove the creation story in Genesis. They don’t know the Bible; they haven’t studied it. Many Christians, too, misunderstand the Word of God. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD (Isaiah 1:18). Study His Word so you won’t be ashamed as children of God.

The Lord would never create a heaven and earth to be in the condition we find them in verse two of the first chapter of Genesis. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters (Genesis 1:2). We find in verse 2 that the earth was already here, but it was covered with water. The earth had been in existence a very long time before Adam and Eve. Adam, Eve, the animals were not the first creatures. There had been other life, an unfamiliar earth that I believe was a great beautiful Eden itself with all kinds of birds and animals, huge and small, creatures that we have never seen in our day.

What about the cave men? I do not believe they possessed souls. I am persuaded that Adam was the first man God made with a soul, a soul that could never die, that would live for all eternity. Had there been another civilization fallen from grace and destroyed because they sinned against God, a civilization with souls that came from God, Jesus would have had to have died for them; for there is no other remedy in Heaven to save the soul that came from God. Did Jesus die for a previous civilization? Ridiculous! Come let us reason together, the Bible tells us.

In Genesis we find that when God looked upon the earth, it was no longer beautiful, but void, without form, covered with water. When did the change come? Remember Satan had been cast out of Heaven. Where was he cast to? Probably right here on planet Earth. The Lord had made Lucifer the most beautiful of creatures. Lucifer’s beauty was his downfall. Pride in his beauty made him feel he could be greater than God. When God cast him out of Heaven, his beauty was stripped away. Then God blotted out the beauty of Earth, too, and made it ugly, without form and void. That sounds like the judgment of God to me. God would not have spoken a universe into existence that would be without form and void, covered with water.

God’s judgment of Satan and a third of the angels who followed him was to cast them to a darkened, destroyed earth, leaving them with nothing beautiful, with no light. God promised to send the sinner who dies without God to outer darkness. No sunshine, no flowers, no smiles, no beauty whatsoever in this curse, this judgment of God. No one can convince me the Lord spoke the earth into existence in the condition we find it in Genesis 1:2. That condition came about because of judgment.

God Turned On the Light

God was going to work on planet Earth again. That first day of the six days of restoration and creation in Eden began with darkness everywhere. Then God turned on the light. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness (Genesis 1:3,4). God loves light; He is the God of light. It’s the devil who works in darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day (verse 5).

The Waters Are Divided

On the second day God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven (Genesis 1:6-8). There are many Heavens. Paul said he was caught up into the third Heaven. How many millions of years between the conditions in verse one and God’s works starting in verse two, I say again, we don’t know. It isn’t necessary for God to tell us; it’s one of His mysteries. He doesn’t care to tell us how many years the earth was void, empty because of His judgment. He did not care to tell us about His judgment upon the devil in the past, everything He did after Lucifer was cast out of Heaven. God wanted us to know that His wrath was upon the devil.

Land Was Separated from the Waters

On the third day, God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so (Genesis 1:9). On the third day of Genesis, the waters were gathered together and dry land appeared. Land and sea weren’t created on the third day, they were separated. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good (verse 10).

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day (Genesis 1:11-13). On the third day, the earth comes to life, begins to produce.

The Sun, Moon, Stars Appear

On the fourth day, God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years (Genesis 1:14).

There had been light of some kind many millions of years ago before destruction made the earth empty and without form. In Genesis 1:3, remember, God turned on the light before He began re-working the earth. Now God let the light of the sun, the moon, the stars shine in the heavens: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also (Genesis 1:15,16).

God had destroyed the earth as a place of habitation, and now He was restoring it. We don’t know how He had operated in that other world, what kind of light was there. Perhaps God didn’t use the sun for light on the first earth. Light may have come from a source unknown to us today. God can do anything and everything. God started over with the universe.

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day (Genesis 1:17-19). Although God had brought light on the first day, the sun, moon and the stars were not named until the fourth day.

On the fifth day God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven (Genesis 1:20). Water covered the whole earth. I believe all life before this time had been cut off because of Lucifer and the fallen angels. Everything was dead, dead, dead. I say again, it looks like the judgment of God to me.

And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good (Genesis 1:21-25). God did all of this; He made the fish of the sea, all living creatures, the fowls in the air, the green grass.

Man Was Created in the Image of God

The earth had come to life, but still something was missing. God didn’t perform His greatest work until the sixth day. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth (Genesis 1:26). Evidently God intended to have more people because he referred to man as them.

Genesis 2:15 tells us that the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. Man was to look over what God had made.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth (Genesis 1:27,28). In different ways and with different things the earth was to be replenished. One of God’s creatures to be replenished would have been in the form of a man, but it would this time be a man with a living soul.

We cannot hinge our belief in God’s teaching on one word, one verse; we must take all the Bible. That’s the reason the Bible tells us to study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (II Timothy 2:15). Take the whole Word of God. In Eden God had brought forth a man with a living soul. There might have been men and women upon the earth millions of years before, but, I say again, I’m persuaded that God never made a man with a living soul until He made Adam. Prehistoric man would have been like the animals without souls. Of that time we know little, only that evidence of prehistoric creatures and cave men have been found.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so (Genesis 1:29-30).

When God made man in His own likeness, He didn’t make him to be a god, but to be a man. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day (Genesis 1:31). Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them (Genesis 2:1). The heavens and earth were finished. They had already been there, but now at last the Lord had finished them, instilling them with His life. Green grass, herbs, trees, animals, birds, man—life was pulsing everywhere.

Adam’s Operation

And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man (Genesis 2:21,22). Why did God cause a deep sleep to come upon Adam? We don’t really know, but there was no fear in the Garden. Man was never meant to experience fear or pain.

It was as possible for Adam to feel fear as it was for him to sin, to sell the Garden to the devil. Imagine what Adam could have been thinking had he been aware that God was removing a rib. Think how anxious, frightened he could have been had he been awake. He probably would have wondered how much of himself God was going to take. It looked as though Adam were being robbed. God didn’t want Adam to be troubled, and He put him to sleep.

We don’t know the method God used to open up Adam. We just know that He decided to operate. Who are we to tell God how He should operate? Man opens up people today in operations. God didn’t want anything to destroy Adam’s peace of mind.

Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27). The Lord intended man to be happy.

God Wants Us to Understand

And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man (Genesis 2:23). Adam knew God took part of him to make a woman; God had explained it. God loves His children and wants them to understand the things important for them to know. He teaches them step by step about His work. The Bible is a workbook of God, showing us the things He has done and why, a wonderful love Book of God’s love for mankind.

Would Adam and Eve have had children had they stayed in the Garden? Evidently the Lord planned for them to have children, but the birth would have been painless. We don’t know how long Adam and Eve were in the Garden. When the Lord comes back with the Bride, it will be for a thousand years, the Perfect Age. Adam and Eve could have had a thousand years in the Garden honeymooning. Evidently during that time the Lord didn’t want them to have children. But God gave Adam this prophecy before the fall: Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh (Genesis 2:24).

The Perfect Age Will Be Like Eden

Eve was the one who let the devil deceive her. God told her that in sorrow she would bring children into the world. God did not intend childbirth to be painful, but the process became part of the curse. Bugs and insects did not infest Eden; they, too, were part of the curse. Not until the fall did they come into being. Are you expecting insects to be in Heaven? God gets no glory out of them; they are a part of the curse, I say again, and will not be in Heaven.

Man was put in the Garden of Eden to dress and keep it, but was the Garden of Eden the only place that was beautiful, vibrating with life? The Garden of Eden was very special; it was the home of Adam and Eve. But outside the Garden life flourished as well, life, life. Adam and Eve eventually would have left the Garden, but the Lord started them in the Garden. Possibly they didn’t step outside the Garden until God drove them out. We have no record of how long they were in the Garden.

Adam and Eve’s children probably were meant to go outside Eden into different parts of the earth. What would it have been like outside Eden for them had man not fallen from grace, had not the curse come upon the whole earth? We don’t know. We know it would have been a wonderful, perfect, beautiful world had man not sinned. Man would never have known heartache, pain, tears, sickness, death. They would have lived forever. It would have been like the Perfect Age is going to be, only better because some wicked people will be here during the Perfect Age. Although they won’t be able to manifest that wickedness in a great way, it will be locked up in their hearts. The Lord said if the nations don’t go up to Jerusalem once a year to worship Him, He won’t send rain on their land. The Perfect Age will help you understand what it was like outside Eden before the fall.

Would man’s living forever have overpopulated the earth? Not so. The Lord can stop couples from having children any time He wants. When enough people would have been born, the Lord would have cut it off. No more babies—if that was what He wanted. God did not plan any sorrow, any suffering in bringing children into the world, no tears, no dying, no graveyards. But God is going to have that heavenly Eden after the Perfect Age.

An Appointment of Death

And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden (Genesis 3:8). How pathetic! How sad, indeed! Adam and Eve lost everything. But consider the people who are losing everything today: It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (Hebrews 9:27).

In the Word of God, His mysteries unfold. We have much to learn. In learning about the ways of God we will be able to handle His love in the right way in this last hour. Most Christians have not been able to handle the love of God because they do not understand God. They blame God for evil, for the bad, for death.

God is not to blame for death. He told man and woman if they ate of the forbidden fruit they would die. They were going to live forever; they had eternal life. They didn’t have to eat of the tree of life before the fall; they already had eternal life. When God breathed the soul into them, they had the life of God. He created them in His likeness, in a holy state just like His. They were without sin, never meant to be contaminated with sin. God put that tree of life in the Garden to remind them they would live forever if they didn’t eat of the forbidden fruit. But they disobeyed God, and God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken (Genesis 3:22,23).

When you get to the tree of life, Jesus, you’ll live forever if you keep Him in your life and heart. Jesus said, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die (John 11:25,26).

It will take the Holy Spirit of God for these things to be discerned and for you to understand them. Through the Spirit of God give your mind not over to the flesh, not over to the natural man, but to the Holy Spirit and let God help you. Then you’ll learn to love the Lord so much more. You won’t blame God. The Holy Spirit has been grieved with God’s people for blaming God for what the devil has done. God told me in a divine visitation that He had been blamed for many things, and He had taken the blame, but in this final hour He will not take the blame. He will let people know why they are not blessed.

From the hour you are born, you have the appointment of death. Only those taken by way of the Rapture will escape it. Man’s life span on Earth is very short, but life after death either in Heaven or hell is forever. Yet people sell everything to the devil for just a few hours of pleasure in the world, going to the devil’s gambling table just like Eve went. She had everything, but she lost it all.

Why did God allow the devil in the Garden? Because He made man a free moral agent. God wanted man to choose Him because he loved Him; not because there was no choice. God did not want man to be a mechanical being.

Adam and Eve were made free moral agents with just as much choice between good and evil as we have today. In the fall, Adam and Eve lost everything except their free choice. Free choice has never been taken away from mankind by God; we will have it until the day we die.

I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel (Genesis 3:15). Here the Lord is talking to the devil, speaking of the Crucifixion. Jesus was nailed to the cross; those heels were bruised just like God said. God clears up many mysteries if we yield to Him and let the Holy Spirit teach us.

Take On the Mind of Christ

God gave man and woman miniature brains that work like His master brain. When you are right with God, connected with Him, the mind works in a beautiful way; you take on the mind of Jesus. The Bible tells us to let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5). Jesus came so that man and woman could have new minds, so their souls could be cleansed and they could have the communion with their God that Adam and Eve had when God came down and walked and talked with them.

Why does God seem so secretive? God withholds insight into certain matters because people have not lived close enough to Him to accept them. There were truths the disciples were unable to receive until after the Holy Ghost, the teacher, baptized them, moved in to live and dwell within them on the Day of Pentecost. Jesus couldn’t get through to them in some of the things He tried to tell them. When He told the disciples He was going to die, Peter rose up so upset that Jesus had to rebuke the spirit of Satan in him. Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men (Matthew 16:23). The devil was speaking through Peter. Peter wasn’t as close to Jesus as he should have been. You can be around people without being really close to them.

Had Peter been close to Jesus, he would have stayed awake that last hour in the Garden of Gethsemane when Jesus asked him to watch with Him just one hour. People can’t stay with the Lord the way they ought if they are not close to Him. The devil had such a hold on Peter after Jesus was arrested that he cursed and denied knowing Jesus. But Peter repented, got right with God; and in the Early Church he was highly respected. He at last took on the mind of Jesus.

Jesus had prayed for the disciples saying, I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world (John 17:15,16). He included us in that prayer when He said, Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word (verse 20).

The Lord wants to dine with you. How much prayer and thought-time do you give the Lord? How much do you feed your soul spiritual food? How much of the meat of the Word do you accept in twenty-four hours?

God is shedding great light on His truth in this last hour for the Bride because without spot, blemish, wrinkle or any such thing, she has come into a close walk with Him. Leaving the world behind, she lives for Him.

God Destroys Evil

Adam was the head of the human race. Eve didn’t have authority from God to sell everything to the devil, but Adam did. God had put it all under Adam’s dominion. God brought the animals before Adam, and Adam named them. God had given him that knowledge. What would have happened had Eve been the only one who ate of the forbidden fruit? Possibly God would have destroyed Eve and given Adam another helpmate. The Bible doesn’t tell us that God would have destroyed Eve had she alone sinned, but I believe He would have. God destroys evil people today. In the days of Noah, He destroyed a whole civilization except Noah and his family. Noah found grace in the eyes of God; Adam didn’t. God had the same spirit of destruction in Eden that He had when He destroyed the prehistoric world and made it void, without form and put it under water. In Noah’s time, He put the world under water again. Only eight souls stayed on top. Because every thought of the rest had been evil continually, God destroyed them.

God is about to destroy this civilization today because of the evil. The thoughts of so many people are evil, dirty, filthy. The spirit of the Antichrist has led people to degrade the body that God took such pride in, to sneer at the morality of the Word of God.

Those who believe in predestination believe in false doctrine. God does not predestine anyone for either Heaven or hell; individuals make that choice. Man can choose to live in darkness or in light. A soul, no matter how wicked, who looks to God for forgiveness will find God. God has proven His mercy from Adam’s day on down to today. Noah found grace in the eyes of God, so much so that God waited one hundred twenty years for him to build an ark to save just eight people. God hears every cry that goes forth from a sincere heart. God’s will is that all be saved and none perish.

Did God Plan to Create Eve When He Created Adam?

When God created Adam, did He at that time plan to create Eve? Evidently not. God did not lay out His plan years ahead at that time; He didn’t need to. The reason God has laid out His plan years ahead in Bible prophecy is to let people know He will always keep His Word. What He says will come to pass, takes place. Later He won’t have to do this; He will take things over as He wants. Now, however, working with man, He makes promises to us, promises He will keep. Anything God has promised man recorded in the Bible He follows up on. He gave the plan of redemption and He waited thousands of years for it to come about. He promised it, and He worked toward that goal.

When God made a man, He said nothing about making a woman. That decision came later. And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof…but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him (Genesis 2:18-20). God in His great wisdom saw that man needed one of his own kind, a help mate, not a “hurt” mate. The Lord looked at all creatures that came before Adam, and no creature was a suitable companion for him. When God decides to do something that doesn’t require the cooperation of man, God has no hindrance.

In the beginning God possibly didn’t plan to open up Adam and make Eve. That plan came later to His great mind; He didn’t have to question His ability or consult with specialists. Don’t think God has only the abilities that man has. With God all things are possible. People miss it when they think God can do no more than man.

Made in the Image of God

God spoke the world into existence, the animals, the birds, the fowls, the fishes of the sea; but in creating Adam, God for the first time got down into the dust of the ground. He molded a man in His own image. From this we know that God has hands, fingers, thumbs, arms, legs. The Bible talks about the hand of God, the right hand, the left hand. He has eyes, ears; He walks; He came down in the Garden of Eden and walked and talked with Adam and Eve. We don’t know how big God’s hand is; size doesn’t matter, for He has all power. He just speaks, and the matter is done.

At different times in visions, Jesus appears very tall; other times He stands as tall as a man. In eternity God will enjoy everyone with Him in His Heaven. He will want to walk and talk with us, and at that time He may be the same height we are. We often have thought of God as a great giant towering over us, but how could Adam and Eve have identified with such a one? I don’t believe God will tower over us like that. God is our heavenly Father. How would you have felt about your earthly father if he had loomed over you by twenty feet? Come, let us reason together. We have many pleasant surprises in store for us.

We are going to live with God; He wants us up there with Him. Aren’t you amazed that the great God of the universe wants us! I never get over the wonder of it all. Some people you may want around you some of the time, but who would you want with you constantly for a million years? The only person I have ever met that I wanted to live with a million years was my wife, Angel. Everyone will be happy in Heaven. I wouldn’t be happy without Angel; I’m forever searching for her. I search for her in my dreams, always looking for her. Sometimes I find her, sometimes I don’t.

Where Was Eden?

Where is the Garden of Eden? We would all like to know. I’m persuaded to believe it was completely destroyed. I believe the angels, the cherubim were kept there with the flaming sword as long as Adam and Eve were alive; and after their death, God destroyed Eden altogether. I doubt He destroyed it before Adam and Eve died; it had been their home. They perhaps went back to Eden every day they lived to see if the flaming sword was gone. Think how they must have yearned to return to that place where there was no heartache, no trouble. How they longed for that place of refuge when Cain killed Abel! The sorrow, the despair must have been overwhelming. If they could only have had God with them to walk and talk with them once again…He could have dried all their tears, and said, Children, you won’t cry anymore. One day He will say that to His children. He will dry our tears and we’ll never cry again.

Some think they have found the site where the Garden used to be. I just know it existed, that it was beautiful and now it’s gone. When God destroyed it, He destroyed Adam and Eve’s home, not ours. Our home will be with Him. Jesus said, In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you (John 14:2). God isn’t building us a garden but a mansion. Some ask for only a cabin in the corner of Glory. Not me. It’s not what the Lord said we would have. I haven’t sought to build a mansion here on Earth; I want to use the money that could be spent on the world’s luxuries to evangelize the world instead, to win souls for Jesus. The mansion will come in eternity; the Lord is building it.

I’ve often thought of the Garden of Eden, what it must have been like. It was a perfect home for Adam and Eve. The mansions the Lord builds for each of His children will be perfect homes for eternity.

The Breath of God

Is the breath of God in everyone? God breathed upon the image of clay, Adam, and he became a living soul. In that breath was God-life. The soul of man came from the breath of God. Every soul had to come from the breath of God or it wouldn’t be an eternal soul. That’s the reason man and woman should honor God, put God first.

What Sort of Fruit Was Forbidden?

Was the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil like an apple or a pear, or was it something else? The Bible doesn’t say. I know people assume the fruit was an apple, but we don’t know. We just know there was a tree the Lord had forbidden Adam and Eve to partake of. I doubt it was an apple tree. Apples taste mighty good, and it is not sinful to eat them. Eve knew better than to eat the forbidden fruit, whatever it was. And we know that anything God tells us not to do, we must not do. In the Garden, God had plenty of fruit that Adam and Eve were permitted to eat. Everything they could desire was in that lovely home. Eve should never have listened to the devil. That ought to be a lesson to all of us. Never listen to the devil.

What Did the Serpent Look Like?

Before Adam and Eve sinned, did the serpent have legs? Genesis 3:14 seems to indicate that the serpent stood upright. Part of the curse on the serpent was that upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life. He was a fascinating creature, probably one of the most beautiful in the Garden. Women love beautiful things. Adam could have passed that creature by; but the serpent was dazzling, the fruit fascinating, and Eve went shopping. She was just going to “window shop,” even though the Lord had let her know she should stay away from that tree. But every chance she got, she went back. She didn’t intend to partake of the fruit; she knew better. She was overconfident. The devil told her beguiling lies, that what God had said was not true. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil (Genesis 3:4,5). He let her think she would be wise as God Himself; she would know everything. That sounds like devil-talk. Eve gave in, disobeyed God. God cursed the serpent for it and Eve as well.

Most people hate snakes; I think of the devil every time I see one. I fight the devil enough without looking at snakes. I don’t want to be reminded of him at all.

Angels Have No More Choice

In the study of Lucifer, we find that when God cast him out of Heaven, God also took free choice away from Heaven. The two-thirds of angels that stayed with God when He cast out Lucifer made their choice to stay with God for all time, all eternity. Never would they change. The third that went with the devil are just like the devil. They can never change either, never have choice again. God will not try free choice again in Heaven. We have to make that choice for God or the devil down here on Earth.

Do You Have Jesus in Your Heart?

You who are unsaved, you need Jesus. You have free choice today. The tree of life, Jesus, is within reach. Although death is working in you, you can eat of Him and live forever. If you don’t get rid of that death and take life, you will exist in a living hell for all eternity. If you need to say the sinners’ prayer, pray with me now: Oh, God, save my soul! Forgive me of my sins. I’m so sorry that I sinned against you, but I have come home. I’m going to serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. Now I believe that Jesus died for me. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins, all! Come on into my heart, Jesus! Come on in!

If you meant that prayer, He has come. Now you can walk with Him. One day Heaven will be yours as the endless ages roll if you remain faithful to Him. One day that mansion in Heaven will be yours just like the Garden was delivered to Adam and Eve for their home. What a home it will be! Imagine what the Garden of Eden was like for two people, and consider how wonderful the mansion, made by the hand of God, will be!

The Lord Is Your Healer

You who are sick and afflicted, I’m not your healer, but the Lord is. You can be healed today of cancer, heart trouble, diabetes and other diseases and afflictions. I say again, I’m not your healer. I’m just God’s instrument of clay He has chosen to pour His power through for the healing of the people. I am His believer; He is the Lord who healeth all thy diseases (Psalm 103:3). Let’s believe God together.

Lord, here they are: Heal the people today of all manner of sicknesses and diseases. Re-create the brain of that little disabled one; you’ve given that miracle to others so many times. Kill out the cancer in the body of that cancer victim. That heart patient, that diabetic—heal in the name of Jesus. Through His supernatural gifts of healing, His gift of miracles it comes through the power of the Holy Ghost: Heal! Heal! in the mighty, mighty name of Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of the living God.

The healing power is flowing. Don’t you feel His presence? That presence will get you well. It brought me back from the edge of the grave and gave me good health that has lasted for many, many years. The name is Jesus, and He loves you. Watch every change and improvement daily, and write and tell me the wonderful results. You who have received salvation, write and tell me about it. We rejoice in people being healed, saved and delivered.

No other name is given among men whereby we can be saved, only the name of Jesus. Without the shedding of His blood we would have no remission of sins, no forgiveness. Fig leaf religion will not do. Adam and Eve tried it in the Garden of Eden, but it wouldn’t work. Blood had to be shed so they could be covered, and the Lord killed for the first time in Eden, spilled the blood of an animal to clothe Adam and Eve. But when He shed the blood of His own Son Jesus, the way was made for the salvation of all mankind who would yield to Him. How sad indeed that man and woman, that the human race has put God through so much sorrow and heartache; and He has only given them love. Praise Him for the blood of Jesus.

This Saith the Lord

Thus saith the Lord: My plan of redemption is for all mankind. My Gospel must go forth, and all peoples must receive my message of the atoning blood. My people must know that the atoning blood has power to wash away all sin, that there is deliverance for the devil possessed, deliverance for the lowest sinners, and know that my power will deliver. My blood has not been preached like it should have been preached. My blood has not been treasured like it should have been treasured. My people who carry my holy name must let the world know the greatness of my blood that I shed for all peoples on Calvary. My people must delight in the deliverance that they have through my blood. And my people will receive great faith through my blood because my message in my shed blood is a message to cleanse all sinners.

Delight in my blood. Rejoice when you think of the power that’s in my blood, and rejoice that your sins have been washed away through the blood of your Savior. And I cry to be the Savior for all mankind in this last hour, saith the Lord.
