Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper (II Kings 5:1).

Although there was absolutely no cure for leprosy in Naaman’s day, Naaman had journeyed from Syria, the land of his people, to Israel seeking a miraculous cure. And Elisha sent a messenger unto him [Naaman], saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean (II Kings 5:10). Such plain, simple instructions that even a child could have done it: Seven dips and you’re healed. But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought (II Kings 5:11). Did you ever dwell on that statement: I thought? How many times have we thought, only to find it wasn’t the thought of God we had; it was a thought of doubt, a thought of traveling another path, a thought of how we wanted it our way.

When you begin to act out the wrong thoughts, you’re in deep, deep trouble. Wrong thoughts have been the stumbling block for many. They have hindered people in my services who, like Naaman, thought things would be a certain way, and they weren’t.

The Lord said His thoughts are not your thoughts. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:8,9). God’s thoughts are higher than our thoughts. Take His higher thoughts if you want to be delivered, if you really want to be set free by a higher power. You need not expect to reach God on your terms; meet Him on His terms.

Naaman said, I thought, He [Elisha] will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper (II Kings 5:11). What a thought! Naaman had never seen anyone healed of leprosy. He only had heard about the man of God from a little maiden, a servant of his wife, a servant who had been stolen from God’s people. I can hear that little missionary saying: He heals everyone, and that leprosy would just vanish. All he would have to do is touch you.

The Thoughts of God Are Wonderful

God wants you to think about how His healing comes; He wants you to know that it doesn’t come by your disobedience, by walking your own paths or by the way you think in your own spirit. It comes the way God lays it out. If you want the Spirit to work for you, you must think like God thinks—faith thinking, love thinking, peace thinking, joy thinking, miracle and healing thinking. You must have all of those thoughts and more. The thoughts of God are wonderful indeed!

People have many mind battles when they leave their minds open for the devil to give them the wrong thoughts. If you don’t carry the thoughts of God, you carry your own self-centered thoughts, the devil’s thoughts, or both mixed up together; and you wonder why you’re tormented, no peace or joy. It’s because you don’t think like God. If you think like the devil, you reap the sad “benefits” he offers. If you think like a human, then the inabilities of a human being are the only supply you have.

Take the thoughts of God: God will perform this miracle. God will deliver me, set me free. The Lord has to work with you to get you to change your way of thinking, for your way of thinking is your way of believing and your way of receiving.

Naaman Was Offended

Naaman, offended by the idea of dipping in the Jordan River, was about to go back home. He turned and went away in a rage. And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean (II Kings 5:12,13)? Naaman, no doubt, would have gone without his miracle had those with him not had more faith than he had. More than Naaman, they respected what the man of God had said. But Naaman thought he was being insulted. God never insults; He just takes the starch out of you so those knees that aren’t accustomed to bowing will bow before their Maker.

Just go into Jordan and dip seven times, not a thousand times. It won’t wear you out; it won’t put you in the old-age home. Go ahead and dip seven times.

Naaman didn’t know seven was the perfect number of God, but we do. When you do the perfect will of God, use the perfect number of God, you have the perfect thoughts. And when you have the perfect thoughts of God, you get the perfect results of God. Is that too hard to remember? Keep that thought, hold to it.

Naaman’s Thinking Changed

Naaman wasn’t humble enough to think like God, to think like I-Am, so I-Am gave Naaman His thought through the prophet Elisha. Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean (II Kings 5:14).

Some of you need to change your way of thinking. It’s time to think like God if you want the things of God. People come to my services with made-up minds of how their miracle or healing will take place. They think it has to be their way. If God offers them a miracle in another way, they won’t take it. The Bible says, They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:18).

When I pray for you or pray over the prayer cloths I send out, I release my faith. When I raise my hand on television in the healing prayer, it’s a type of laying on of hands, and the power of God goes forth through these gifts that are in my life. The power of God enters your body and that’s it. Close your case.

Get Ready for Your Miracle

If you want to meet someone knowledgeable in medicines, visit a hospital or clinic; they have the knowledge. But if you want pure faith healing from Heaven, God has it for you. With God’s faith, you can have your miracle: The blind can get their sight, the deaf can hear, cripples can walk; people are healed of all manner of sicknesses and diseases. Never say you can’t receive healing; say, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13).

Get ready for a miracle. If you drive an automobile, you know it has to be in gear or it isn’t going anywhere. But some Christians aren’t getting in gear, aren’t going anywhere in receiving healing because they won’t use what is available to them. Put that faith gear in high, and move onto healing ground.

Take On the Mind of Christ

Every thought of God is more valuable than silver and gold, and He wants to give you His thoughts. The Bible goes so far as to say we must take on the mind of Jesus. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5).

How do you think Jesus thought? He thought this way: Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always (John 11:41-42). Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done (Luke 22:42). Every time Jesus addressed God, His heavenly Father, it was through faith. How many times have you addressed God—but not through faith? You prayed through doubt, and your words didn’t go beyond where your voice could carry it. It’s faith that carries our voices right to the throne of grace. God’s ears are open for faith and love prayers.

The thought of prayer is God’s thought. When you talk to God, He is the one who gave you that thought, not the devil, not man. Aren’t you glad the Lord thought of prayer, that you can talk to Him? Aren’t you glad you can communicate with your God? Aren’t you glad you can call Heaven anytime, that you have Jesus on the line to make intercession to the Father? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us (Romans 8:34).

What Do You Depend On, Money or God?

Naaman, a heathen, didn’t know the first thing about the living God. He had worshipped idol gods all his life. And he didn’t like the Jordan River because it reminded him of the enemy. Naaman didn’t love Israel, had no sympathy for its people, and he wouldn’t have come to their land had he not been desperate. He was captain of the host of Syria, an important man used to having his own way. That’s the reason the very wealthy seldom ever come to Jesus, they won’t bow; they have the wrong thinking.

A wealthy woman came to one of my services. For quite a long time she stood in the healing line. I didn’t know who she was; it didn’t make any difference to me. The Lord doesn’t care about money; He treats us all on the same scale. I looked at her and the Lord let me know she was not ready for a miracle. I was going to be in her town a few more days, and I told her, “You’re not ready. Go home, get ready and come back tomorrow.” She came back the next night. Her thinking had changed; she had gotten ready and was healed. Had she not humbled herself, she wouldn’t have received her miracle.

Her husband told me later that she had suffered with a rare blood disease. For ten years he had expected to wake up during the night and find her dead by his side. The doctors had told him she couldn’t live. Think how you would feel not knowing if you were going to wake up and find your mate beside you dead!

Then someone told him about this ministry: The blind were getting their sight, the deaf were hearing and the mute speaking. He said he wouldn’t believe that unless he saw it. What thinking he had! But he was convinced when he saw the first miracle. “I believed it,” he said. He wasn’t used to seeing miracles.

God’s Thoughts Are Directed to You

You must work on your thinking, how you think toward God. Take a lesson from Naaman. He was not knowledgeable in the Scriptures, he knew nothing about how God worked, how God thought; but many of you do, and the Lord expects even more out of you. Learn the way God thinks; know that God’s thoughts are on you day and night; realize that He is considerate of you and hears your prayers. His thoughts are upon you, planning for you. You never go out of His thoughts because you never go out of His love; and when you don’t go out of His love, you don’t go out of His faith.

God is giving you the thought that He is close to you, nigh unto you, and that He has fellowship with you. He is preparing a home for you; His Son Jesus is coming for you. These beautiful thoughts from the Holy Word give you the thought life of God. What does God think of man? It’s all right there. What are God’s thoughts about healing for an afflicted person? What is the will of God? It’s all in His Book. Let the Bible be paramount in your thought life. Take every thought to the Word of God. If your thought doesn’t match God’s thought, then your thought is no good. If it doesn’t match what God is thinking about the subject, it’s wrong. Why wrestle with your thoughts? Why pine about them and wonder why God’s hand isn’t moving for you? Take His thoughts; they are of you. Consider and accept all the blessed promises that He has given to you.

Noah Used the Lord’s Thoughts

Out of all the thousands on Earth at the time, the Noah family was in God’s thoughts. Eight souls, that was all, but God had them in His thoughts so much that He was going to wait one hundred twenty years for an ark to be built to save that one family. Why did God do it that way? Because He is God and He doesn’t send judgment upon the righteous; judgment is for the wicked. God loves the righteous. Had He failed the righteous Noah family, how could we have perfect faith in Him?

You serve a perfect God who has perfect thoughts, thoughts that work for you, blessed thoughts, wonderful thoughts, not thoughts of destruction. His thoughts are of edification and strength to build and lift you up. He gave Noah all the thoughts of knowledge that he needed, and He gives you thoughts of knowledge, too.

Noah needed no inspiration from man or the devil, no outside help. He used the Lord’s thoughts on how the ark must be built, how high, how many stories, what was to go in, how the animals would be fed, and so forth. Some people don’t realize how long the Noah family was in the ark. It rained forty days and nights, but they were in the ark for over a year. The thoughts of God kept them alive, supplied all their needs. The thoughts of God kept that ark on top.

Like the Days of Noah

The Lord had beautiful thoughts to serve to all the human race, but the Bible declares that, other than the Noah family, every thought of man was evil. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually (Genesis 6:5). Those evil thoughts included no peace, no joy, no deliverance and no escape. So it is with people today. Jesus said that just before He comes the second time, the situation on Earth will be like it was in the days of Noah. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be (Matthew 24:37-39). Don’t let the wickedness on Earth disturb your thought life. Don’t let people take your thought life and turn it into something dirty or turn it into doubt, fear, oppression, depression, frustration, or any other of the devil’s pitfalls.

Why give your mind over to people to twist it and take it over? Be careful what you listen to, what you watch, what you let come into your thought life through television. Most of the programs steer thoughts onto the wrong things, anything but something good about God. By tuning them in you are letting the devil steal the wonderful thoughts of God from you. The thoughts of God are rightly yours, but are you using them, yielding to the Holy Spirit?

Terrible as an Army with Banners

The Bride will have a godly thought life; she will be served much to serve others. As terrible as an army with banners, she will see no power able to stand before her. Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners (Song of Solomon 6:10)?

The Bride is going forth with the thoughts of her Lord, with the thoughts of the coming of her Groom. Her thoughts are upon her work for Jesus and what she’s supposed to do. How profound will be her thought life in the great ultimate anointings! Thinking the right things, she will think like God thinks and have perfect fellowship with Him.

To think like God thinks, it’s essential for each one of us to be baptized in and yielded to the power of the Holy Ghost at all times. Why think on things that subtract from your anointing when you can think on the things that God gives you to think about, things that will multiply? Why let the devil rob you? Every time the devil can get your mind, he robs you and you come up lacking. His thoughts take you from the strength you need to fight him off, prevent the divine blood from flowing like it should, and block the thoughts of the blood you need.

When troubles come, how long is it before you take the thoughts of God to use the blood with all its power and greatness? In the thoughts of God and the thoughts of God in you, you’re ready to do battle. The Early Church was ready; they had the thoughts of God, the thoughts of I-Am who had separated the waters of the Red Sea for His people. And now the Early Church of Jesus Christ had His thoughts because each member was in such perfection and love. Their thoughts: lost souls, holy communion, holy unity, deliverance.

The Miracle Touch

A certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms (Acts 3:2,3). The thoughts of a man at the gate Beautiful: I need money. No thought of being delivered had entered his mind. Since he had never walked, he hadn’t given a thought to walking. God couldn’t get to him for deliverance, for no one had come along with that much faith until Peter and John. Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength (Acts 3:6,7).

Peter gave the man a thought, a new way of thinking, not a thought of the devil, not the thought of man, but the miracle thought: Stand to your feet! With authority from Heaven, Peter reached out and lifted him up; and the feet and anklebones received an all-out miracle. The man began to leap and shout. All of us had to learn to walk, but this man immediately leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God (Acts 3:8). He had the miracle walk, the miracle shout, the miracle victory, the miracle touch; he had the miracle everything. It’s wonderful when you have a miracle; there isn’t anything like it.

The Lord said believers shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:18). Do you think I’m a believer? Oh yes! Then go and get well—that’s the Lord’s thought. Don’t use your thoughts; don’t use the devil’s thoughts; you don’t need to use your kinpeople’s thoughts. Use God’s thinking, God’s thoughts.

God gives you a mind to use His thoughts, guaranteed through the Word of God. It’s promised to you, infallibly promised, remember, that you can have the mind of Jesus, the same kind of mind that Jesus had. Jesus had a human mind, but He used the thoughts of divinity; that which made up His mind belongs to us.

Through the divine blood, we’re sons and daughters of God in the Kingdom of God. We think like God’s people think—thoughts of God’s glory, of His overcoming power and strength, of His greatness. He speaks and it’s done—think upon that. All you have to do is simply speak, Lord, and it will be done, it will happen. Speak, Lord, and twisted limbs will straighten out, blind eyes will be re-created. Speak, Lord, and fingers drawn and twisted with arthritis will be free, free, free. Those are the thoughts of God.

For a man who had never walked for thirty-eight years, the thought of God was: Rise, take up thy bed, and walk (John 5:8), and he did just that.

The thought of God for a woman bent over for eighteen years was for her to be straight, to be healed. Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day (Luke 13:16)?

Sickness Is the Devil’s Bondage

Shouldn’t you, too, be free? If you are sick or afflicted, it’s devil bondage that you have. Sickness is not a little love gift from the Lord; unwrap it and find out for yourself.

How do I unwrap it?

Take it to the Word of God. The strings, the ropes, the shackles of bondage will fall off in the light of the Word, and you’ll see sickness for what it is: a curse from the devil. Sickness comes from the devil, but Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil; that’s the thought of God. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (I John 3:8).

What glory does God get out of your grunting, complaining and moaning? Don’t you think He’d rather hear you praising His holy name, glorifying and thanking Him because you can rest and have the peace of Heaven right here on Earth? That peace is not only to be in your soul but in your body as well.

Dying at Twenty-Three

Some of you don’t have the thought of God when it comes to having physical peace. My body at one time did not have peace. At twenty-three years of age I was dying, my body about a skeleton. The peace from my body had gone. All the signs people have who are dying, I had. Every day I was losing ground; other parts and organs of my body were becoming afflicted. Soon my heart wasn’t beating right. I was being taken over, rushed on toward death. The thought of God was to heal me, but I didn’t have that thought. My thought was death. I had asked God to heal me more times than one, and it hadn’t happened.

In a service when I had one of those attacks and was suffering death, holding to the Bible stand, the Lord gave a message. A little woman started to tremble under the power of God and the Holy Ghost began to speak through her, declaring I would be healed. I thought—I thought—it would happen right away. I thought that meant my affliction was over. I thought she had given the right message, and I believed it. She was a godly woman who lived close to God. That message lit up my life for a few short days, but then I had more attacks. I was heading toward death and the grave. I thought, I thought—I should have thought the way God thought. I had the promise; all the light I needed was there, but I let the light go completely out of that promise until I was like one shut up in a room searching for a door, a window, any opening, and not finding one. What a nightmare!

No matter how many promises you have, if you lose the love-light in them, you won’t find your way for them to be fulfilled. God had given me the promise, handed me my miracle because when God promises you something, it’s the same as though you already have it. When He makes the promise, that’s it. By losing that promise, I became a pauper in my thoughts.

Oh God, why would you let me die so young? I thought. He hadn’t said He was going to let me die; He had told me He was going to heal me. Why didn’t I accept His thoughts? Why didn’t I keep thinking like God? Some of you are doing the same thing I did, and I’m here to warn you. You’ve had the promise of your deliverance, but if you let the light go out of that promise, it’s the same as not having it. You have tied the hands of God and He can’t work for you. Limiting the Holy One of Israel, you’re in trouble.

Take the thoughts of God. When you think like God, He moves just like He said He would; and God uses you as His own hands. He can move for you the way He does for Himself or for an angelic being.

Who would have thought I would have lost all my faith? But I hadn’t really lost it; I just thought I had. Now all hope was going because I was thinking wrong. It was like I was in quicksand; that’s the only way I’ve ever been able to express it. What a terrible feeling!

When I was a child, our farm had an area with quicksand, and we had to be careful around that place. Quicksand is terrible. Once you get in it, you usually don’t get out; you become swept on down. Now with my affliction, I was in a quicksand of despair and going down. How much longer could I keep from being swept completely under? I didn’t think it would be much longer.

I Still Have My Miracle

Then at the last Jesus came and healed me. I still have that miracle in my body today; I’ve had it all these years, and it’s wonderful. I have peace not only in my soul, but in my body. To lie down at night and not have an ache, a pain, is glorious to me because it came through the thought of God.

I knew I was going to live. No longer was I in the quicksand, no longer in a room with no way out. It was like a mighty wall between me and Heaven had come tumbling down, and I watched it fall. Now I could see all the way from Earth to Heaven. I could see life, feel life, think life. I was thinking like the Lord thinks; all those weak, doubting thoughts had gone, swept away in the great presence of I-Am; and I was believing everything He said. I had thought I was going to die, and now I was on my way to receive His gifts. He said that later I would go on a long fast. When I came out of that fast I would have His power for the healing of the people. A trillion people couldn’t have made me doubt that thought; it had come from God and I knew it like I knew I had two hands, like I knew I was still breathing. Christ made Himself so real that night that I would never think the same again. I would learn that we must have the thoughts of God; He made man and woman to think like Him.

Do You Talk Sickness?

As long as Adam and Eve thought like God, they had a perfect relationship with Him. You can’t think man’s way and still have that wonderful fellowship with God. How could He walk and talk with you when you’re not thinking His way, when you’re determined to think your own way, your kinpeople’s way, the devil’s way or someone else’s way? It won’t work. You’ll get a miracle from God, have another pain, and start thinking that you must not be healed.

You’re not healed, the devil says.

I knew I wasn’t healed; I felt I wasn’t.

There you are, talking to the devil, having better communication with him than you have with God. Remember how Eve got into trouble talking to the devil, and don’t make the same mistake of listening to him.

Do you talk sickness? The Bible says the weak shall not say, I’m weak. Let the weak say, I am strong (Joel 3:10).

Jesus didn’t talk sickness; He healed sickness. He didn’t come to think about sickness. Had it been the will of God for us to be sick, when Jesus took on human flesh He’d have taken on cancer, sugar diabetes, heart trouble, a spinal condition or arthritis in His hips so He could have hardly gotten around. But God’s will is health, and Jesus was not sick.

Jesus was the perfect man as well as perfect God. He was the second Adam, so His thoughts were like the thoughts Adam had in the beginning. Never was Adam to have been sick, nor was he to even think about sickness. There was never to have been any death, so Adam wasn’t meant to go around thinking about dying; he was to think about living. Neither are you to keep your mind on sickness and death; focus it on the eternal life in you. When you are born again, you’re going to live forever; you’re going to trade in that old body for the new glorified one.

Where Is Your Faith?

Christ came to show us how to think. He told the disciples that they didn’t have the thoughts of God. Thinking they were about to drown out there on the stormy sea, they were afraid even though Jesus was on board with them. But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him (Luke 8:23-25). You don’t have the thoughts of God, Jesus was trying to tell them. Here you are, thinking you’re going to be destroyed and I’m on board with you. I’m your deliverer, your Savior; I’m here to save you and yet you’re terrified, thinking you’re going to go down.

And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid (Matthew 14:25-27).

Jesus even walked the waters, and they were afraid. “Where is your faith?” He asked them.

Do you ever stop to think where your faith is? Is it in your pocket, in the bank, buried in the backyard, or did you leave it in the car? Jesus spoke with good, common, godly sense. Where is your faith? The Lord gives you faith; it’s yours, a gift from God. Use it. But as long as you talk sickness, you’re going to stay sick.

How much did you talk about sickness today? Anyone other than a doctor to help you or a preacher to pray for you shouldn’t hear you talk about sickness. Why don’t you think right? Oh, my arthritis, you groan. It’s really the devil’s arthritis, but as long as you claim it to be yours, it’s your possession. You do want to get healed, to get your deliverance, don’t you? It’s time for you to move, time for you to look to the Healer, not the disease.

Take God’s Prescription

Have the thought of God that directs you to ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find (Matthew 7:7). Decide that after the prayer of a man of God, there won’t be any cancer, any sugar diabetes or any arthritis in your body; you will be free. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed (John 8:36). Do you know what freedom means? It means you’re delivered. Jesus, the Son of God, said He would set you free; are you going to believe Him or not?

The Bible says it is appointed unto men once to die (Hebrews 9:27). The Bible, however, doesn’t say you have to die with a disease. I read in the Word of God that God took Elijah and Enoch to glory, and I’m sure they didn’t have a pain. That’s the best way to go. It isn’t the thought of God for cancer to eat your life out. It’s His thought for you to get deliverance and be free.

Don’t be depressed tomorrow; don’t wake up in the morning wallowing in a thought about your sicknesses or diseases or what the doctor said about your case. If you want the thought of the doctor, that’s all right, but the thought of Jesus is a different story.

I respect good doctors, good hospitals and good medicines, but I want the thought of God that knows all healing comes from the Lord. I’m not against people taking good medicines. The Bible says, A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones (Proverb 17:22). I’ve prayed for more people with medicine in them than not, and they have been healed. Taking medicine is certainly acceptable; it’s when I see your tongue wagging the wrong way that I’m disturbed. You let your tongue tell over and over how bad, how terrible you feel. Your body just gives up and your mind doesn’t care anymore.

The Lord has plenty of happiness and joy to think about. Rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory (I Peter 1:8).

He gave you peace that passeth all understanding. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Do you want a godly prescription today? It’s free; Jesus made it free. It’s time to fill your prescription and start taking it in the dosage that the Bible directs. Get into God’s thoughts, go with His thoughts. When you have aches and pains, turn them over to the Lord; put them under the blood. You who have been forgiven of your sins are not living with sin in your soul, and you don’t have to live with sickness in your body; the Lord wants to heal you.

God’s Thought Is Health for You

Did you ever find in the Bible that you must have old age in your bones, that those bones are supposed to ache painfully? What is the thought of God? He said He would renew your youth. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:5). Are you expecting God to renew your youth or are you complaining about growing old? It’s time for you to move and get your deliverance today.

The woman with the issue of blood was thinking right when she said, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole (Matthew 9:21). Many in Jesus’ day didn’t get healed who could have been healed. Jesus was just as close to them as He was to the woman with an issue of blood; they could have touched Him and been healed just like she was. He is that close to you.

What are you saying today? I hope I get healed. I might get healed. I wonder if anyone has been healed of my disease. Naaman was the only person in the Old Testament we have record of who was healed of leprosy. Wouldn’t you like to get rid of that awful disease that God had never healed anyone of? Wouldn’t you love to be a good witness to that? It’s time to get that miracle, that deliverance. Think like God and He will serve you today. God’s thought is for you to be holy as He is holy, and to be well as He is, to have the good health that brings good happiness. The thought of God is for us to be well in glory for all eternity. Isn’t that a beautiful thought? Why wouldn’t He want you to be well down here? You’re always trying to get well, now why don’t you let the Lord do it? With God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

Accept the Thoughts of Salvation and Healing

First, let’s make sure your soul is right with God. If you don’t have Jesus in your heart, pray the sinners’ prayer with me now: Oh, God, I’m so sorry that I have sinned against you. I confess all my sins. I confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He died for me; I will live for Him. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in!

If you meant that prayer, He has come.

You who are sick and afflicted, accept God’s wonderful thoughts of healing, accept the words of faith that came through Isaiah the prophet: With his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). I’m God’s believer; I am not a healer. God is the healer, and complete healing is His thought and His will for you. Let me pray with you now, and let the power of God flow into your body or into the body of your loved one. If you will believe the thought of God and be obedient to Him, that power will stay to get you or your loved one well. It’s just that simple. Lord, I bring this person to you. Lay a healing hand on this one just now. From your supernatural gift of miracles, from your gifts of healing it comes in the name of your Son, Jesus, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Heal! in the mighty name of the Lord. Heal! in the holy name of Jesus.

The healing power is flowing. Let that power linger within. You can do it by living in the Word, by yielding to the Holy Spirit and accepting the promises and thoughts of God so He can use all the greatness in the blood for you. Trust in the divine blood of Jesus. Use all that is in the blood for you and victory daily will be yours as you anchor your thoughts in the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ the Son of the living God.
